Chapter 54

John looked up at a very pissed off Jason Morgan. They had met on several occasions but it could not be said they knew each other well. So John was wondering if today was going to be his last day on the planet. "That's Elizabeth?"

"Yes." Cody said trying not to laugh. That was not what the situation needed. But it was kind of funny that the woman John tried to pick up was Jason's girl. Or it would be funny if Elizabeth wasn't so upset.

"Are you okay?" Jason was still holding her close. Her trembling was subsiding which was calming him some. He still needed to find out what the hell John had done.

"I'm okay. He didn't mean to scare me." Despite his aggressive come on, Elizabeth had not felt a sense of menace from him. If she didn't get herself under control Jason was going to hurt Cody's friend. She knew that John was part of the agreement to retire, but she wasn't sure how important he was.

"I had no idea she was your girl." John quickly told the older man. "I would never disrespect you that way." He remembered Cody saying that Elizabeth Webber was a brunette but he didn't mention that she was so pretty. Morgan was lucky.

Jason gave him a hard look before turning his attention back to the woman in his arms. "Do you want to leave?"

"No." She wasn't going to run. "I'm fine. I dropped my drink." Already someone had come out to clean up the mess.

"Let me get you another one. As an apology." John felt bad for scaring her.

"I'd rather you didn't." Elizabeth still didn't know him well enough for that. "Besides isn't that what started this in the first place?" She was feeling more balanced. "I'll be right back." She walked over to the stand to get another drink.

Jason just watched her go before turning his attention back to John. He stepped closer until he was in John's personal space. "Do not put your hands on her again." It was the only warning he would give.

"I won't." John quickly agreed swallowing hard. "What exactly did I do?"

"I don't know." Jason was back to watching Elizabeth. Yes there were a lot of lovely ladies at the pool, but there were some guys as well. He didn't want anyone else approaching her.

"Once we find out make sure you don't do it again." Cody had spotted John with his hand around Elizabeth's waist about a second after Jason did. The former guard had been surprised at the surge of protectiveness that had gripped him. O'Brien had said that Elizabeth quickly would feel like his little sister, he was right. He knew that John wouldn't hurt her, but he did not like him touching her. "You can start by not touching her." He warned his friend.

"Like I said before, I got it." John watched her walk back. "Get her a guard Morgan because trust me she will get a lot of attention." With those big blue eyes and the porcelain skin guys were going to notice.

Jason just gave John another glare. Jason knew his girl was beautiful and he knew that other guys looked. He just didn't like to be reminded of it. When she was back by his side he put an arm around her and smiled. "You want to go back to the chairs?"

"Okay. John would you like to join us?" She had shaken off her initial fright. But now she was more determined than ever to get over this phobia she had of people being behind her.

"Sure let me get my stuff." John pointed to his chair.

"Okay." Elizabeth put her hand in Jason's and they walked away.

John watched them and Cody shook his head. "Do not tell me that you are already crushing on her."

"She's hot." John admitted. "I mean you have looked at her right?" He asked the other man. "Do you not see that she is beautiful?" With a nice ass, he mentally added.

"Do you want to die?" Cody gave into the urge to laugh. "Jason will send you home in a box."

"It might be worth it." John said shaking his head. "If she didn't look at him the way she does, I might try. But it's clear that they are in love. So no I will not do anything stupid." But he would look every chance he got.

"Go get your stuff." Cody gave the other guy a shove. He would have to give O'Brien a heads up. John had become smitten with one look. Cody was guessing he was fortunate that Elizabeth wasn't his type. He liked his women closer to his own age. Still they would all keep watch so that Jason didn't have to kill John. Cody chuckled again as his friend came back. Dinner should be interesting.

Since Jason was still glaring at John when they decided to go out to dinner at a local restaurant Cody, not being a fool, called for backup. Robin and Johnny were waiting when they arrived. They were quickly seated and given menus. "I tried calling Francis but couldn't reach him."

"He's on vacation. Him and Diane both." Jason found the timing odd, but with him in Italy they could be off simultaneously. Francis had been handling a lot while everyone was concluding their time in Port Charles. Diane worked hard and he didn't begrudge her some time off.

Johnny was pretending to read his menu while watching John sneak peeks at Liz. Cody was right, he was going to have to warn the younger man. It was actually kind of funny. Johnny wasn't sure that Jason ever had to compete for a woman. He didn't have to compete for Liz, she was totally his everyone knew that. Still it would be interesting to see how Jason handled potential competition. The situation with AJ didn't tell them anything. Jason hadn't known that his brother was interested until it was too late to do anything about it.

Johnny caught Cody's eye and smirked. Yeah this had the potential to be a whole lot of fun. Hopefully John would get over this crush fairly quickly, especially since he and Elizabeth wouldn't be spending much time together. They didn't even live near one another. Johnny couldn't wait to tell Francis about this when he got back from his trip.

Francis was trying to catch his breath and Diane was making it damned hard. She was riding him and he was on the verge of begging. She had decided to see just how many times she could come before he did. In other words just how long could he hold out. How was a man supposed to resist a challenge like that?

The first time she came it was no sweat. The second time was more difficult. Now she was working on orgasm number four and he didn't think he was going to be able to hold out. His cock was so sensitive now just thinking about her tightening around him had him shaking. "Fuck Diane, baby I'm not gonna last." He groaned out.

"I'm only on number four." Diane gave him a wicked grin. Truthfully she wanted him to shatter. She love the feel of him spilling inside her. But first they had a small matter to clear up. "Francis." She purred. "Tell me something."

"Anything." Francis didn't care what she wanted to know as long as she kept moving.

"You were with those women to make me jealous weren't you?" Diane asked with a wicked grin as she rotated her hips. He bucked beneath her and moaned.

"Diane." Francis begged. "Shit!" He exclaimed when she rotated her hips in the opposite direction.

"Tell me Frannie." Diane encouraged.

She had him and he knew it. "Yes." He groaned as she picked up speed. "I can't last any longer. I'll make it up to you." Francis said gripping her hips and rolling so that she was underneath him. She made him crazy in the best possible way. "Make room." He told her pulling back.

Diane widened her legs and then threw her head back screaming as he thrust hard inside her. "More!" She demanded hovering on the edge of an explosion.

Francis growled as he began hammering inside of her. This was both the most intense pleasure and the most exquisite pain he'd ever felt. "I'm coming." He told her. Boy was he ever. "With me." He demanded.

"YES!" Diane screamed holding him tight as her fourth orgasm of the night raced through her.

Francis growled above her and came hard. Slamming his hips into hers as he completely lost his rhythm. "Shit, baby you are going to kill me. I'm too old for this." He said falling to the bed bedside her.

"Frannie, you are three years younger than me. Don't make me trade you in." Diane threatened.

"I'd kill anyone who even tried." Francis told her only half joking.

"That's sexy." Diane leaned over and kissed him. She knew what it was that her boss and fellow executive used to do. She had been assured that Vento was completely legal, and would stay that way, before accepting the job of running it. "Your plan worked." She said as her breathing slowed down.

"What?" He had no clue what she was talking about.

"I was jealous." She admitted. When he smirked she rolled her eyes. "I'm not changing my name."

"I never asked you to." Francis said getting comfortable.

"That doesn't bother you?" Diane found that to be surprising. Most men of their age insisted on it.

"You're my wife. Not my property. If we were having kids I would insist that they have my last name. Not any of that hyphenated shit." Francis drew the line there.

"I'm not too old, neither are you." Diane hadn't ever given children any thought. She liked them, but hadn't wanted to be a single parent. If she was going to have kids they needed a father, and she wanted to be married to him. Since marriage didn't seem to be in her future she pushed that aside. Her wedding set proved that things changed.

"You want kids?" Francis liked kids and truthfully liked the idea of a family.

"We should have talked about this before getting married." Diane pointed out.

"Children or lack of them is not a deal breaker for me. Johnny and Robin and Jason and Elizabeth are going to have some. I can borrow one of theirs." Francis laughed when Diane swatted him with a pillow. "Answer my question."

Diane gave it some thought. "I'd like a family, but Francis I'm over forty and a pregnancy might not happen." She knew that it would be hard.

"It could also be dangerous. And you're only forty-two." He pointed out. "I never said you had to have them."

"Adoption?" Diane liked the thought of that.

"I'm open to it. Adoption, surrogacy or biological. Any kid of ours would be just that ours. We don't need to decide right now." Francis pointed out. "We are on our honeymoon."

"Francis we haven't left your apartment." Diane said looking around.

"Our apartment." Her stuff would be coming as soon as the spent more than thirty minutes out of bed. "I can take you somewhere if you like, but you'd have to get dressed and it would be a crime to cover up that body."

"I need to get dressed for work." She gasped as he nibbled on her neck.

"Yes you do. I'd hate to have to kill someone during a board meeting." But he began planning on having her in the boardroom, and her office and his. "Come on I'll feed you." They needed to take a break. He rolled out of bed and grabbed some shorts and a shirt only because he was planning on cooking. An apron wouldn't provide enough protection.

Diane on the other hand simply rolled out of bed. "I'll be right out." She wanted to use the bathroom and clean up a bit.

"Take your time." Francis watched her walk away and grinned. She was all his.

In the bathroom Diane freshened up and looked at herself critically in the large mirror. She had a great body. Turning sideways she tried to envision herself with a pregnant belly. Maybe she should put on a shirt and stick a pillow under it because she wasn't getting an image. What made her smile was that the thought of a pregnant belly didn't freak her out.

She looked herself in the eye. "Diane Corelli." She said out loud for the first time. That didn't freak her out either "Diane Miller-Corelli." She tried that one and thought 'not bad.' "Diane M. Corelli." She gave it some thought. "Francis Miller." She said and laughed out loud. That didn't even sound right. They weren't returning to work for a few more days, she had time to figure out her name.

It helped that Frannie was so easy going about it. He was secure enough that he didn't need her changing her name to make a statement. But Diane was finding that she was old fashioned enough to want to claim him by taking his name. That should let those young bitches know what was what. Grinning she washed her hands and went to see what her husband was cooking.
