DECADE: Reality & Consequences

I don't own Kamen Rider or Super Sentai, they belong to Toei.

I don't own Kamen Rider Girls either, they belong to Ishinomori Productions and Avex Trax. In addition, I don't own any of the songs mentioned here, they belong to their respective owners and singers and composers/lyricists like Shoko Fujibayashi and the following bands: Tetra-Fang and Rider Chips

The reference to Berserk. I don't own the great manga, that's Kentaro Miura's property.

Tuesday

Columbus Tech

It would be one of the last days of class, but it would be rigorous study for me. All sorts of engineering classes, plus that Lab class had the option of performing the final experiment early. I am taking that option immediately tomorrow. It won't be easy, that's for sure. Lab class was one of my biggest crutches.

- Laboratory III

- Mech. Engineering Statics

- Control Systems Principles

- Microprocessors

- Operating Systems Principles

- Electromagnetic Theories

Those classes overwhelmed me, but it seems my final exams will be on the period days of Dec. 17-20. Good. It wouldn't be too long. But back to making all these Study Guides. Operating Systems and Electrical C&A would be fairly easy while Control Systems would be a walk in the park alongside Mech. Statics. E-Theories would be tough.

Here are next semester's classes:

- Signals & Systems

- Bio-Ethics

- Literature & Strange Creations

- Technology & Global Matters

- Laboratory IV

This will be final classes for my final semester, I hope.

- Senior Project (year-long project)

- Anthropology & Health

- Communication Theory

- Random Signals & Statistics

Here's me hoping these classes don't kill me before everything else does.

Hirose Center

The Game Room was fairly quiet today, but the looming threat of Final Exams would give anyone pause at this point. However, I did get strange stares as of recent. Murmurs of me being a masked freak and all... sure. Let's badger the guy who saved your lives from human-hating monsters. Completely logical. But I believe the revelation of me being Neo-Decade would have Columbus Tech put me on probation out of sheer fear.

A good place to study if any.

THREE HOURS LATER

Two subjects done, but a few more to go. However, I just heard a gigantic explosion from outside.

"Oh, great. What now?"

I quickly run down the hallway, then saw one of the security officers thrown across the stairs. I recognized a soft laugh. A young Asian man in white, then I knew it right away. It was Daguva. Daguva here. He would be smiling, but I decided to transform. There's no way this monster will be getting away with murder.

"HENSHIN!"

I transform into Kuuga, but only into Mighty Form. I would try punching Daguva, but wait! Daguva in human form would block one blow, then grab my throat and threw me into the wall. He slowly walked up to me, then punched me in the gut. An elbow in the face, jab into the chest, then threw onto the ground.

Ouch...

Daguva then smashed his fists... into my face. While laughing. A few minutes of punching would have me flinching every fifth punch... but I then smash my fist into Daguva's face, breaking a few teeth in the process.

Unfortunately, I was majorly bleeding at this point. However, I was still ready to fight this bastard.

"Daguva, I don't know what exactly you want."

"I'm simply looking for the ultimate battle, you happen to meet that criteria."

"So killing innocents happens to be collateral? Very predictable, don't you think?"

"I believe you will be an excellent battle, but I'll give you time to grow stronger. Plus Final Exams? Unnecessary, but I will give you time to finish them."

"How did-"

"It is not hard to figure you are a student of this school. Something the weaklings didn't care much for."

"When."

"What?"

"When and where."

"I believe you humans call it Washington Square Park. I believe the 21st would be a perfect day. We shall fight to our fullest."

"Alright."

What have I done?

Oh, right. Bleeding... yup. Blood loss coming in. Oh, crap... hey, anyone want to intervene? Anyone?

"Alright... let's do so." said Momotaros possessing me. However, Momo then took his bags and then put his hood on in case of anyone ID'ing him.

Surprising me more, Momo managed to get everything within a reasonable time limit. The bleeding didn't even slow him down, but there would be more to come regardless. Unfortunately, there were classmates who were surprised by the explosion and I happen to be in the middle of said crime scene.

"Whoa, are you okay?"

"He's fucking bleeding out! What do you think?"

"Jesus... do you need an ambulance?"

"That white-suited man... he did this. He's an X-Lifeform too, is he?"

"He must be the one who wants to fight Neo-Decade very badly."

In the shadows, I saw two brown-skinned Kaijin, shit... they were Go Gurongi. The high-tiers of the Gurongi, weapon users, able to alter forms like Kuuga. I saw the both of them. Go-Jaraji-Da and Go-Baberu-Da. The Porcupine Gurongi and the Bison Gurongi. One's a sadist and the other a cunning brute.

'You are too injured to fight, Victor! We have to retreat for now!' yelled Urataros.

"Shut. Up."

I pulled out the NeoDriver, but it turned out to be the Arcle. It then merged, then I yelled out what might my last words.

"HENSHIN!"

I transformed into Kuuga once again, but this time... I grabbed a stop sign which then slowly changed.

"CHO HENSHIN!"

I transformed into Titan Form Kuuga... but my bleeding was still there. I didn't care... these monsters were going down. Baberu then transformed into his Grapple Form (similar to Titan Form), wielding a warhammer. He slammed it into my shoulder, but I slammed my bleeding fist into his jaw and broke several teeth.

I then grabbed his head and gave a strong headbutt, stunning him. I then focused on the spiny bastard, Jaraji. Oh, no. You don't. I thrust the Titan Sword into his back, specifically his spine. With whatever remaining strength I had, I lift him up and throw him towards the Bison Gurongi. In a split-second, I jumped and thrust the blade through both of them.

"You... bastard! You think you can do this freely while Daguva is out and about?!" said Jaraji.

"Last time I checked, Daguva would wipe out the majority of Gurongi because you were deemed weak in his eyes."

"What... no. I never knew that." said the spiny beast.

"Why did you think I was cautious when it was my turn!" screamed the Bison Gurongi, despite broken teeth.

"Heh, so you motherfuckers are dead either way." I said, grimly.

The Bison Gurongi took advantage of that, then slammed the warhammer into my hurt shoulder once again. He slid off the Titan Sword, then slammed his fist into my face. However, I let go of the blade. Then went to town on Baberu's face.

Jab.

Jab.

Uppercut Elbow.

Chopper Elbow.

Straight Punch.

Headbutt.

Baberu was stunned and bleeding, same as me. Good. Jaraji was still stuck with the blade protruding through him. The Bison tried lifting up his warhammer, but I attacked the elbow with a jab, then grabbed his shoulder with the other hand and lowered him with an easy access knee attack to the groin.

I then slammed him into the ground, then broke his hammer-wielding arm for good measure.

Time to focus on Jaraji. He wasn't able to move, but suddenly, it began raining heavily. Thunder being heard. Oh, great. The spiny bastard would be getting away, but then it became white.

Lightning. Struck. Me.

Unfortunately, that wouldn't be enough to stop me. I remember Yusuke allowing himself to be a conduit... well... this will hurt. A lot. Electricity charging into me, but must learn to control it...

My appearance was blackened, but instead of resembling Amazing Mighty Form. The shoulder-plates and chest-plates still looked like Titan Form. I christen this Amazing Titan Form. I believe that sword of mine should be...

I noticed the Titan Sword became much larger, almost like the Dragonslayer from that manga, Berserk. It resembled a ornate slab of iron if anything, but I managed to lift it up. It was something of a heavyweight, but I managed to throw Jaraji into the sky.

"Great Calamity Titan."

I briefly jumped in the air, but there was still weight behind that blade of mine. I simply swung it around, slamming into the spiny beast and then sending it across from me. He would quickly explode, sending a shockwave. However, nothing major was damaged. That's a good thing though.

I land on my feet, but I barely feel a thing. Okay! Pain's coming back. Bleeding too. Yup. Momotaros. Please help. Bleeding.

"Alright. We have to go now. Wait, where's that Bison bastard?"

I just now noticed. The Bison Gurongi is gone, but with his wounds. He won't be hurting anyone for awhile.

I quickly ran to the nearest train station, but I quickly reverted back. Though still bleeding, Momo was in the driver's wheel, metaphorically speaking.

Kowada's Apartment

I managed to make my way through to my bed, but everyone was asleep at this point. Despite the bleeding slowing down, I managed to make it in one piece.

"Well, the Final Exams will be less stressful at least. Plus the option to do the Laboratory Final is there tomorrow, let's totally take that."

I simply drifted off to sleep... hoping I would be in less pain in the morning.

Wednesday

Columbus Tech

It was a long morning... I believe Sarah and Kowada had glares born of worry, but Urataros managed to convince them it was two high-tier Gurongi and left that detail with Daguva out. I will need to get stronger. Sorry, Yusuke, but this Daguva needs to go down regardless. For now, we focus on the Final Exams.

5:00PM

It was on the upper floor, the electronics lab. Laboratory III, the bane of this semester. However, I manage to complete one of the circuits assigned at a random station. It was very simple to do. It was a simple AC circuit, easy to do so. The lab professor was at his desk, still recording the time it took each student to complete said circuit.

At the end of the night, I simply got a B. Heh, not bad after dealing with many Kaijin. I simply left the class.

8:00PM

One final exam done, several more to go. That reminds me, Operating Systems Principles. I wonder if I will get exempt from the final exam. If so, that leaves only four final exams. Seeing the time, I quickly get on a school computer, log into my school email and then see the listing of who is exempt.

Let's see... Victor... Victor. Ah, ha. I managed to get by, albeit barely. But hey, I got off scot-free. Now only to deal with four final exams.

It will get harder from here. However, I noticed a lot of classmates getting very stressed out. Whether it's the inevitable Final Exams or the Kaijin, it's anyone's guess. However, I believe Dyson will have a hard time explaining everything to Columbus Tech.

But need to get back home. Still more studying to do.

TWO HOURS LATER. 10:00PM

I'm actually surprised by the lack of Kaijin activity. There was none in the following area, but with the threat of Daguva... I don't believe anyone's out and about. In fact, I noticed no one's trying to mug anyone within the subway. Never one Kaijin could do this much damage on a psychological level.

Daguva is a monster. Nothing more.

But I need to be careful in case. Hell, my family worries much for me already.

Hell, my cousins always hoped for me to finish college. Well, guys. 75% of the way there.

Plus extended family within Peru, calm down. I will visit inevitably.

But I need to get back home. That's all.

Kowada's Apartment

Well, I noticed that Sarah and Ashley helped out with Christmas decorations. Kowada being casual about it all, but he promised to get a small tree for the holiday. Despite all the craziness [aside from Christmas craziness, that is], they still manage to do this. This actually makes me smile for a bit, but before going back to my room to study.

'So two final exams averted for the very least.' responded Shotaro.

'Well, it will be time to go to sleep. Rest up soon.' replied Takumi.

'That I know, but the threat of Daguva...' I responded. However, the both of them understood my concerns. We might die while battling Daguva. But at least I can take that bastard with me as compensation.

Cellphone ringing. Who could it be?

"Hello?"

"Hi, Victor. Remember me?" said a feminine voice.

"Wait... is this who I think who it is?" I responded.

"Yup. Anna-Marie. :)"

"Holy shit. Oh, shit. How are you doing?"

"Oh, I'm fine actually. I'm almost ready for graduation. You?"

"One more year. It was fairly difficult." I responded. Thankfully, no mention of the Kaijin would come up.

"That's great! But I heard about the X-Lifeforms, I hope you're safe."

"Oh, don't worry. I'm usually cautious. But hey, I'll talk to you later. Finals coming up and all." I responded.

"Oh, I understand. I have to take care of two Final Projects. Talk to you later, Victor. Bye."

Well, that was interesting to say. Anna-Marie Gonzalez, old friend from middle school and well... I'm not going to say more because that would be an info-dump. But we are extremely close friends despite living in different states. Both of us liked anime, graphic novels [despite different tastes], and well, it's funny though.

The first movie we watched together was a scary movie, she absolutely loathed it. But we laughed after at a pizza place. She wasn't one of the only friends I made during the period from middle school to high school. There were a few others, I'll list them down:

- Jared Vance, high school football player and current Finance major

- JR Vreeland, middle school buddy and aspiring future sailor for the US Navy

- John Soun, high school friend and aspiring artist

Here's me hoping they never find out about my identity as Neo-Decade, I'm pretty sure they would freak out at first and then praise me for fighting Kaijin. But then the random possessions, then so on and so forth.

However, I believe it is time for sleep.

That's the end of this chapter.

Well, Victor... has been calming down lately. He has been thinking about how things go.

Find out on the next chapter.
