"Here we are m'lady." Fitz smiled as he parked his car. "Griffith Park. Better known for Its Greek Theatre and Observatory, it will go down in history as the first place we publicly made out in." He continued, taking the tone of a touristic guide.

Olivia giggled at his antics and jumped out of the car. It was 7pm, they had decided to come early to enjoy the sunset. Fitz grabbed the basket and threw the blanket over his shoulder before taking Olivia's hand in his.

"You ready?" He asked before they started walking.

"I'm more than ready." She assured him, squeezing his hand.

They walked down the trail for fifteen minutes, hand in hand, exchanging kisses and touches. Nobody seemed to notice them and even if they had, they couldn't have cared less. They were too caught up in each other.

They finally found a spot they liked. It was, for the most part, surrounded by trees, giving them a sense of privacy but sufficiently open for them to see the sky.

Fitz finally let go of Olivia's hand to set up their picnic. He spread the blanket and helped Olivia down before pulling everything out of the basket. He had thought of everything, plates, glasses, napkins, even a few candles they could light up when it would be dark.

Refusing to let her lift a single finger, he set up her plate with two sandwiches, cherry tomatoes and carrot chips with a glass of champagne.

"Okay, so, I know champagne doesn't go really well with a picnic but since it's our first date, I couldn't avoid it. We're here to celebrate and you can't celebrate without champagne." He explained as he poured her a glass.

"It's perfect." Olivia smiled widely as she took her glass. "Everything's perfect. I feel like a queen."

"You're my queen." He smiled that dorky smile of his and Olivia melted.

"To us." Olivia smiled raising her glass toward his.

"To us." He answered clinking his glass with hers.

They started their dinner side by side but as the sun started to set, Fitz picked Olivia up and settled her between his stretched up legs. He held on to her waist and fed her with his fingers.

They stopped eating to watch the sun disappearing behind the trees, snapping a few pictures of the two of them in the dusk light. Olivia desperately tried to take a picture of the two of them looking at the camera but every time he would be kissing her neck or cheek or have his head buried in the crook of her neck. He couldn't seem to stop touching her.

They suddenly heard whispers coming from the trail a few feet from them and looked up to see a group of girls from the school watching them and pointing at them.

Olivia tensed for a second before relaxing again. "I guess our secret is out." She sighed.

"Do you care?" Fitz asked her.

"Nope." She smiled up at him. "They can stare and talk all they want, I'm neither ashamed nor embarrassed."

Fitz' lips curled up into a smile. "Well since they're staring, how about giving them something to stare at?" His brows wiggled suggestively.

Olivia giggled and brought her hand to his cheek before connecting their lips. It was meant to be a quick kiss but Fitz had other plans. He deepened the kiss and pushed her until she was lying on her back and he was on top of her. He kissed her until he couldn't breathe and when he finally pulled back, both their eyes were glazed over.

They turned their head to the trail and noticed that the girls had disappeared.

"Well I guess the secret is definitely out, now." She laughed. "Where did that come from?"

"I've been wanting to kiss you like that in public for months. I guess it was just bottled up and released. You didn't seem to care." He smirked.

"Oh, believe me, I didn't." She kissed his nose before sitting up.

For dessert, Fitz had bought an assortment of strawberries, raspberries, blackberries and red currants. He also bought a can of whipped creams.

He seized Olivia's wrists in one hand and held them behind her back as he fed her. He dipped the fruits in whipped cream and brought them to her lips, feeling a jolt going to his groin every time her luscious lips closed around the ripe flesh, her eyes closing and a moan escaping her lips.

After a minute, he started deliberately missing her lips, spreading whipped cream and juice all over her lips and chin and happily licking it away. They both groaned until it turned into a full blown out make out session.

This time, it was Fitz who was on his back and Olivia was lying on top of him. Her hands were running in his hair and his hands were buried under her skirt massaging her ass. It was completely dark now, they hadn't even lit up the candles, too caught up in one another to even care.

Olivia moaned in his mouth when his fingers moved toward the inside of her thighs, mindlessly grinding against his erection.

"Take me home." She whispered against his lips.

It didn't take him more than 15 seconds to wrap everything in the blanket, grab her hand and pull her toward the car, almost breaking into a sprint. It took him another 20 torturous minutes to get her safely inside his apartment, undress her and take her on his bed. They made love for long hours that night, until the sun started to rise again.

They both indulged in a lazy morning, only getting out of bed long enough to freshen up and grab the rest of their picnic. They lay in each other's arms as they tenderly and sensually fed each other berries. They didn't even care about the stains on the sheets or the fact that they were both sticky, they simply reveled in the closeness and intimacy of their moment.

They fell asleep again during the morning and woke up in the middle of the afternoon, finally deciding to get up, get showered and get presentable. After a midafternoon lunch, Olivia reluctantly decided to leave the apartment to go meet her father. He had sent her a text in the morning, telling her he was working from home and that he would like to talk when she was ready.

"I wish I could come with you." Fitz sighed as he watched her get ready to leave. He was sitting on the bed watching her running around the room to grab her things.

"I do too." She smiled weakly as she walked to him and stood between his open legs. He laid his head on her stomach and she ran her fingers through his wild curls, hoping to soothe his nervousness.

"I'll be fine." She continued in a soft voice. "I do need to talk to him at some point. He has calmed down and as much as your presence would help me, at this point it wouldn't help him."

"I know, I know." He mumbled against her stomach, his arms wrapped around her midsection. "I'm being whiny again, aren't I?" He joked weakly rising up his head to look at her.

"Just a little bit." She smiled down at him as she played with the curl on his forehead. "How about after I'm done, I come back here and we look at apartments in Boston. How does that sound?"

Her spirits lifted when she saw the light returning to his eyes and a smile curling up on his lips. "That sounds like a plan." He stood up, looking stronger. "Okay, you should go now. The sooner you get there, the sooner you can come back."

"That's the spirit." She smiled as she kissed his lips intensely.

"Dad?" She called as she entered her home.

"In my office." He called. She walked to his office and found him, surrounded by paperwork, anxiously searching for something on his messy desk.

"Hey." She called from the door.

"Hey, Livia." He answered, finally looking up. "I'm sorry, I didn't expect you so soon. I'm swamped in work, can we talk later?" He sounded stressed but not by her presence. She knew his work could be demanding and he was obviously trying not to take it out on her.

"Sure. Take your time. Have you had lunch?"

"Hmmm, no. I haven't left my desk in hours."

"Okay, I'll make you a sandwich and bring it to you. I have a few things to do for school, administrative stuff. I'll be in the living room. Come get me when you're done."

"Yes, thank you." He answered quickly before diving back in his work.

It took him an hour to finish up with his most urgent tasks before finally joining Olivia in the living room. When she saw him approaching, she closed her computer and nervously straightened up. She didn't know what to expect. She knew he had had time to think about her and Fitz but she still didn't know if it was a good thing or not.

He sat across from her in one of the big chairs and rested his elbows on his knees, leaning up and holding his intertwined hands in front of his lips. He stared at her for a long minute, causing her to squirm uncomfortably before finally speaking up.

"Were you at his place?" He asked, taking her by surprise.

"I... Huh... I-yes. Yes, I was."

He nodded and seemed pensive for a moment. "Why?"

"Why was I at his place?" She frowned.

"No. Why him? Why, of all the men you could be with, did you choose to date your teacher?"

"It's not about him being my teacher." She sighed. "I told you before, his job is not relevant. It's about the person he is. He is kind, supportive, honest, patient, reliable, sensitive, smart and funny. He gets me, in a way no one else can. And he shows up for me.

I'm not saying that to hurt you, Dad. I know you're doing the best you can and the past few months you've been different. You've shown up for me, talked to me and listened to me. And I love that we can now be closer than we ever were.

But Fitz? He's been here for me since the moment we met. Ever since we started dating, he witnessed some tough moments for me and not only was he there, he did everything he could to help me.
It's not about you or him, it's not about being rebellious, and it's not just a fling. It's love. You might think I'm too young and inexperienced and foolish, you might think he's too old for me but you're wrong. You don't know him, Dad, not like I do."

"Olivia, he's what? Thirty? What kind of future do you have?" He didn't sound as aggressive as he had right after he discovered the truth. He seemed lost, struggling to understand.

"He's 26, Dad." Olivia answered softly. "We're only 8 years apart. You and Mom were 6 years apart, it's not that different."

"It is, because when I met your mother, she was 23. She had much more experience, she had lived and dated before me."

"So have I. So, okay, I have not dated anyone before him but just because he's the first doesn't mean he's not the right one. I have lived Dad, more than most people my age. I'm not saying my life was a struggle but I was confronted very young with some harsh realities and I had to grow up faster than most kids. I may only be 18 but I am no fool. I know what I want in life and that includes Fitz."

"How do you know he's not going to break your heart?"

"I don't know that. But I wouldn't know that even if I was 28 or 38. No one can know. But I trust him. I trust him not to hurt me because he proved to me that he is worthy of my trust."

"You're still young. You're going to miss so much." He said regretfully.

"I'm not. I'm going to live something different. Different is good." She smiled at him. "You taught me that."

"Different is good." He smiled softly. "So what? You two are going to college together?"

"We are. We are actually going to live together." She told him nervously and he frowned. "We both feel ready for that step. It doesn't mean I'm settling. It doesn't mean we're going to get married or have children together right away. It just means we want to be together as much as possible."

"But he wants children, right?" Eli asked worried.

"I... I don't know. We haven't even talked about it. But something you have in common with Fitz is that you both want me to have a great career. He would never ask me to jeopardize my dream for him. Never."

Eli nodded but stayed silent.

"Dad?" Olivia asked after a few minutes of silence. "Do you have something else to say?"

"What do you want me to say, Livia?" He sighed tiredly. "I still don't think you two are right together. But you are right, as much as I would like you not to, you are grown up. You are smart and capable of making your own decisions. I can question them and get you to question them but at the end of the day, you make your own choices. Are you sure about this?"

"I am sure about him." She answered confidently.

"Then I will have to accept it, accept him. I... I have to be honest, it might take me a while."

"Okay." Olivia nodded seriously. "I want you to know I'm really sorry I lied to you. I just... I was afraid of how you would react, not for me but for him."

"I understand. I don't like it, but I understand." Eli nodded his head. "I only want what's best for you, you know that, right?"

"I do." She smiled. "And he is what's best for me."

"Okay then... I have to get back to work. Thank you for talking to me."

"Thank you for listening."

Eli stood up and kissed her forehead. "Are you staying for dinner?" He asked.

"No, I told Fitz I would meet him at his place. Unless you want me to..." She trailed.

"No, I was going to say, I have a lot of work. I'll see you later, Livia." He kissed her cheek and left for his office.

Olivia leaned back on the couch with a deep sigh. That went better than expected.

She gathered all her papers and went to her room to fill a bag with clean clothes before leaving for Fitz' place.

"What do you think of this one?" Fitz asked clicking on the thousandth link that evening.

After she had gotten back to his place, she had taken a shower while Fitz ordered take out for their dinner. They had set up camp in the living room, sitting on the couch together. Fitz' laptop was on his lap and they were eating Thai food and scanning websites for an apartment.

"Huh huh." Olivia shook her head. "It doesn't have a laundry room. There's no way I'm walking two blocks to clean my clothes. Next."

Fitz sighed dramatically earning himself a slap on the shoulder. Although he was teasing her, he really didn't care that she was so picky. If it had been just him, he would have been fine living in a closet but he wanted Liv to love the apartment and feel comfortable in it. He was willing to spend hours looking at pictures if it meant she was happy with their choice.

"Oh, how about this one?" He asked. "1082 square feet, two bedrooms, over-sized windows, facing East and South, modern kitchen, a fireplace, spacious walk in closets, a laundry room AND a swimming pool and gym in the building."

"Score." She high fived him playfully. "Show me the pictures. Okay, we might need to repaint a few rooms but it looks promising."

"Promising? Liv, it looks amazing. We won't find anything better in this price range. You're like the princess and the pea." He shook his head smiling.

"The what?"

"You know, the children's tale… The princess who couldn't sleep because there was a single pea under her mattress…"

"I didn't know you were so knowledgeable on princesses…" Olivia teased.

"Whatever…" Fitz mumbled.

"I'm kidding." She kissed his cheek, trying to reach for his lips but he turned his head away petulantly. "Oh, come on, baby." Olivia laughed. "I love that you're a precious kind of guy. Embrace your feminine side."

"Okay, that's it." Fits suddenly grabbed Olivia and pinned her on the couch, tickling her sides. "You're going to pay for that."

"NO… Fitz… Please, stop! I can't… Ah ah… Can't breathe…" She wheezed, laughing and wiggling under him.

"Say you surrender." Fitz kept tickling her.

"I… Ah… I surrender… I give up… Uncle… Whatever… Please…" She begged.

Fitz finally stopped his assaults and smiled smugly as he kept hovering over her. "That's what I thought."

"It's unfair, you big bully, you're too strong for me."

"That's to balance my feminine side." He grinned as he leaned down to kiss her plump lips. "Come on, let's finish so I can take you to bed."

"What makes you think I'm going to let you take me to bed after that?" She scoffed.

He turned to her with a smirk and ran his hand up her thigh as his nose nuzzled her ear. He moved his hand toward the inside of her thigh and ran his fingers over the seam of her underwear, holding a moan at how wet she already was. "Because I can be very convincing." He whispered huskily against her ear, giving her lobe a quick nibble.

When he pulled away, Olivia was panting and her eyes were half closed. It took her a few seconds to regain her bearings and when she opened her eyes, she found Fitz smiling at her cockily. She sent him a death glare and cleared her throat as she tried to focus on the screen.

They found 5 more apartments they were interested in and after sending an email to the agents to book a viewing, Fitz finally closed his computer.

"Phew, that was exhausting. I can't wait to be able to finally move in." He exhaled as he ran his hands over his face. He turned his head toward Olivia and found her looking at him with a strange expression.

"What?" He asked.

"You're exhausted?" She asked with the same expression.

"Well, yeah, aren't you?"

"Hmm, not really." She bit her lip. "Is all of you exhausted?" She smirked as she leaned down and cupped his length through his jeans, making him groan.

"Hmm… That part of me is never too exhausted for you, kitten." He moaned.

"Good." She whispered against his ear. "Take me to bed. Now."

Fitz didn't have to be told twice, he picked her up in a fireman's carry and ran to the bedroom where he proceeded to exhaust her for the next few hours.
