Chapter 50: Awake and Alive

Amanda's POV

I can't feel anything . . .

I can't feel my arms . . . I can't feel my legs . . . I can't feel anything at all, even if I try my hardest.

After Randy finally injected his venom into me, I just felt this overwhelming urge to go to sleep come over me. The feel of Randy's lips on my forehead . . . and the warm touch of his hand on my cheek . . . those were the last two things I felt before my whole world just plunged into complete darkness.

To me, it felt like hours . . . days . . . even weeks before I finally felt something. . . And it was something that I could never even imagine I would feel in my entire life.

It was this . . . this intense burning sensation that just came over me, spreading throughout my body like wildfire. It started in my neck and then it spread from there, becoming more and more intense the further and further it spread. I thought my heart was going to give out from too much heartburn by the rate it was going! I just wanted to scream from the pain . . . but the intense pain stunned me so much that I couldn't even utter out a single word.

The burning sensation continued to travel throughout my limbs until every spot in my body was fully covered. It felt like I was in the center of a volcano, burning alive until there was nothing of me . . . The process lasted so long that it wouldn't surprise me if WrestleMania 30 came and went already. . . . But then, it changed.

The burning pain began to slowly cool down . . . I thought I had reached the end of the transformation . . . but I was so wrong as soon as the burning venom cooled down to subzero temperatures. It was like someone took me out of my burning volcano and decided to put me into the world's coldest freezer in the middle of Antarctica to become an Anaconda popsicle . . .

The cold lasted probably twice as long as the burning did . . . Yet again, I couldn't tell how long it had been since it started. . . Yet again, I wanted to call out in response, but yet again, I was too stunned to speak.

Eventually . . . the cold stopped on its' own, slowly leaving my body like it never even existed in the first place. . . That was the last thing I felt as the darkness continued to envelop me like a snake ensnaring its' prey.

Hmm . . . and speaking of snakes . . . I wonder what Randy is doing right this minute. . .

He's probably worrying up a storm somewhere, wondering if I'm doing okay through the whole transformation process . . .

. . . Or maybe he's getting impatient with me for taking so long to transform . . .

. . . Or maybe he's keeping himself busy with work for the WWE so that he wouldn't be obsessing over my well-being 24/7.

Knowing his personality, it wouldn't surprise me if he was actually doing one of these ideas I thought up . . .

Hell . . . it wouldn't surprise me if he was doing all three at the same time, or at least doing them one by one. . . He does have a little bit of a tendency to be sporadic at best.

Hmm . . . now that I think about it, I wonder what happened to everyone else. I wonder what happened to them in that warehouse . . . I hope they're all alright.

"Yeah Mom, we're all fine at our end. You don't have to worry about us all day long you know."

That . . . that was Randy's husky voice that I just heard. . . Yes! I've started my hearing's coming back . . . My transformation must almost be complete . . . Finally.

"Amanda . . . she hasn't woken up yet . . . Yeah, I know it's been a while, but you know how these things go Mom . . . It just takes time."

Hmm . . . it sounds like Randy's talking with his Mom on the phone . . . he sounds close, but I don't think he's in the same room with me. . . . Hmm . . . I wonder if I have gained any feeling in my body again. Maybe if I move my fingers a little.

I focus on my right hand, willing my fingers to move as best they can. Once I feel the softness of some sort of bed sheet under my right hand, I focus my attention on my left hand, soon gaining the same result. The ability to feel with my whole body slowly returns to me afterward, the softness of the bed I lay on reverberating all throughout my backside.

Yes . . . I can feel again. . . . Hmm, now for my eyes . . . if I can just get them open.

I soon focus all my energy into opening my eyes, the goal to see again the only thing going through my head.

Okay, here I go . . . 1 . . . 2 . . . 3!

X-X-X-X-X-X

I open my eyes to see everything looking . . . well, sharper. Everything looked clearer than normal, like it was all in permanent HD . . . but it was even better than HD. I could see every single detail of every single thing in the room, from the small flecks of dust on the window to the small ant that was crawling along the floor in the furthest corner of the room. I soon realize that I was lying in the bed in the hotel room Randy, his siblings, and I was staying in here in Minneapolis. From what I can hear elsewhere within the suite, Randy and I were the only ones currently occupying it. I take a small whiff of the air, taking in smell of three strong scents that were in the room with me. One of the three had to be Randy's, leaving the other two to belong to either one of his siblings.

"Since we're still in Minneapolis, I guess the others thought it was best to keep me in one place while I was changing." I say with a sheepish look on my face as I slowly sat up, the sounds of outside car traffic easily hitting my ears from the street below.

"Amanda . . ."

The sound of Randy's voice calling my name instantly grabs my attention and I look up to see him staring at me in absolute shock. He's dressed in a plain blue t-shirt and gray sweatpants and was holding his phone in his right hand, his mom's questioning voice easily audible thanks to my enhanced hearing.

"Randy? Randal? Are you still there son?" she asks him as he continues to stare at me in shock. "Randy? Are you still there? Speak to me boy! What's going on over there? Did Amanda finally wake up?"

"Yeah . . . you can say that . . ." he tells her as he brings the phone back to his ear. "Um Mom, I'm sorry I have to cut our conversation short, but I'll call you back later."

"Alright, but you better call me back soon!" says his mom in a commanding tone of voice before I heard a beep that signaled the end to the call. I watch Randy as he pockets his phone, the shock still evident on his face as he did the small task. Once he looked up to face me again, he opened his mouth to say something, but no words passed his lips.

"What's wrong?" I ask him as I silently got out of bed. He still doesn't answer me as I walk over to him, my footsteps eerily silent as I finally reach him, stopping when I was a mere foot away from him, his musky scent wafting through my nose. "What's wrong Randy? Cat got your tongue?"

He still doesn't answer me as I look him in the eye. I reach my hand out to his face, grazing my hand against his stubble ridden cheek in an effort to get him to snap out of his sudden freeze.

"Randy, speak to me . . ." I say, a small hint of worry evident in my voice as I moved closer to him, close enough that we were now chest to chest. "Are you even still in there?"

He doesn't answer me at all. Instead, his arms suddenly surround my body, enveloping me in a tight embrace as he burrowed his face into my shoulder, taking me slightly off guard as I clung to him.

"You're finally awake . . ." he whispers into my ear as I breathed in his scent, a lot clearer due to the enhanced sense of smell I've gained.

"Yeah . . . I finally am . . ." I say with a sheepish smirk on my face as I began to rub small circles along his chiseled back. "I've been out for a while huh?"

"Actually . . . you haven't been out for very long," he tells me truthfully as he moves back a bit so he could get a clearer view of my face. "Less than a week actually . . ."

"Less than a week?" I ask in complete shock. It must have shown on my face because Randy started chuckling as soon as my expression changed. "I figured I would be out longer than that."

"Me, Nate, and practically everyone we know thought the same way too, considering your track record when it comes to sleeping for long periods of time," he tells me as a thoughtful look came across his face. "Becky and Natalya were the only ones that betted that you would wake up before the week was over. It's been four days since that night . . ."

'Okay . . . how much do you owe them?" I ask with a knowing look on my face as I crossed my arms against his chest. "You mentioned the word 'bet', so there must be some money involved."

"Uh . . . not much, about $150," he tells me sheepishly as unwound one arm from my body, but left the other one to stay securely around my waist. "Those two are in for a big payday once everyone sees you up and about again."

"So . . . where is everybody exactly?" I ask with a curious edge to my voice as he begins to lead me out the bedroom.

"The McMahons wanted everyone to continue their jobs as normal after Sergei was finally dealt with, so everyone had to leave out that night for the SmackDown tapings in the next city . . . well, everyone except us," he tells me as he leads me over to the small kitchen. "Hunter and Steph told me that I didn't need to be at work till the next Raw, so Becky, Nate, and I decided to stay in Minneapolis while everyone else went ahead."

"It's only been four days huh . . ." I mumble to myself as we reach the kitchen. "Wait . . . Were there . . . were there any casualties that night?"

"There was only one and it was one of the guys from the task force. I believe his name was Sean," Randy tells me thoughtfully as he let me go so he could walk over to the mini fridge. "Everyone else escaped the night with a few bumps and bruises, well . . . everyone except for Cody."

"How badly hurt was he?" I ask, the worried tone evident in my voice as Randy began looking through the insides of the small fridge. "Is he going to be alright?"

"He'll be fine . . ." Randy tells me as he took out a blood bag from the fridge. "He was actually in the same predicament you were in that night; badly wounded by Sergei and on the verge of death. . . I injected my venom into him to save him. Kaitlyn's been watching over him in their hotel room down the hall ever since. He hasn't woken up yet."

"I see . . ." I mumble for an answer as I bring a hand to my throat, a faint burning sensation starting to grow in my esophagus as soon as I saw the blood. "Is that for me?"

"Well . . . it is a common thing for a newborn to crave blood as soon as he or she wakes up," he tells me with a small smirk on his face as he held the bag out to me. "So . . . are you thirsty?"

"Please don't play games with me right now," I say with a small scowl on my face as the burning pang in my throat began to grow. "My throat is beginning to annoy the hell out of me right now just because I'm staring at that bag of blood."

"That's just your hunger instincts kicking in . . .' he tells me with a chuckle as he hands the packet to me. "That burning sensation is a vampire's alarm, telling him or her that it's time to feed. Even though it is a pain in the ass for the most part, it's a part of our life we just can't get rid of."

"Uh huh . . . I don't think I'll get used to it for a long while." I tell him with a small scowl on my face as I looked at the packet in my hand.

"You will in time . . ." he tells me with a smile as his phone began to ring from his pocket. "Instincts is key. Just bite into the bag and drink up babe . . . I'll be in the living room taking this call."

"Alright . . ." I say as I watched him leave the room. Taking in a deep breath, I heed Randy's words and let my instincts guide me. I could feel my new fangs extending to their full length as I juggled the blood bag in my hand. ". . . Here I go."

I bring the mouth to my lips and bite down into it with my teeth. The cold, red liquid is sweet in taste as it rushes into my mouth and down my burning throat, cooling it down till the burning sensation ceased to exist. I downed the packet to the very last drop and threw the wrapper away once it was a mere husk. Once I turned around, I looked up to see Randy looking at me with a smirk on his face as he leaned against the doorway with his arms crossed.

"Well that was a quick phone call . . ." I say with a smirk on my face as I walked over to him. "Was that your mom calling you back?"

"No . . . I still have to call her back," he tells me as he wraps his arms back around my waist. "Nate was the one who called me. Cody just woke up . . ."

"That's good news." I say with nod of my head.

"Yep, and I say we go pay him a visit," he tells me with a smirk as he looks me up and down. I look down to see that I was dressed in my black silk nightgown, which only reached down to mid-thigh. "Well . . . after you change."

"Yeah . . . don't want a half dressed Anaconda walking through the hotel's hallways now do we?" I ask with a chuckle as I looked him in the eye, the small hint of playfulness showing within them as he looked at me. "What are you thinking Randy?"

"I'm thinking . . ." he starts as he moved one of his hands to my ass. ". . . That since you are a vampire like me, you're now less breakable than back when you were just a hybrid. Which means, for me, nothing can hold me back now from having my way with you."

"Is that all I'm good for now, sex?" I ask in mock shock as I sent him a playful scowl. "Are you really that horny Randal Keith Orton?"

"I haven't gotten any action in months babe," he tells me in defense as his playful smirk grew bigger. "How else do you expect me to act when I have someone as sexy as yourself with me night and day? I'm a man babe. I just can't help myself."

"Uh huh . . ." I say with a shake of my head. "Well . . . just let me get used to the whole vampire lifestyle, and then you can have your very wicked way with me."

"Aw . . ." whines Randy as I slip out of his hold and head for the bedroom. "How long will that take?"

"We'll see . . . it'll take some time," I tell him with a smirk as I reach the doorway. "Hmm . . . who knows? Maybe I'll finally get used to my new life once WrestleMania comes around."

"But that's still more than a month away!" whines Randy as I sense his presence coming closer to me.

"Okay . . . maybe I'll get used to it by your birthday." I suggest as I walk over to my waiting suitcase.

"That doesn't make things much better . . ." grumbles the Viper as he came up behind her and leaned his face to hers.

"Hey . . . at least I'm making it soon. You can wait another month . . ." I say with a smirk as I pecked his lips. "Now go wait out there while I get ready. I'll be done soon."

"You better . . ." mumbles Randy as he kisses me back before leaving the room. I smirked as I watched his cute ass leave. Randy may have his moments, but I love the man nonetheless.

Normal POV; 20 minutes later

"So . . . how have you been doing these past few days?" asked Amanda as she and Randy walked hand in hand over to Cody and Kaitlyn's room. "I bet it must have been nerve wracking waiting for me to wake up all this time.

"Yeah . . . to tell you the truth, I have been making my siblings crazy with my anxiety," said Randy sheepishly as the two turned the corner. "I actually didn't sleep the whole time you were out."

"You haven't slept for the past four days?" asked Amanda with a look of shock on her face. "Was your anxiety really that bad?"

"Yep; I didn't sleep at all these past few days because I wanted to make sure I was awake when you finally woke up," Randy told her truthfully as they walked up to the designated room. "Although . . . thanks to my Mom calling me earlier, I didn't actually get to see you wake up now did I?"

"No . . . you didn't," said Amanda as she shook her head. "You can blame your mom for that, not me."

"Yeah; my mom sure knows how to have bad timing," said Randy as he knocked on the door. "Guys, it me!"

"Randy!" exclaimed Becky as her voice neared the door. Once she opened the door, she looked on in glee to see the reformed snake couple right before her. "You finally stepped out of the hotel room. And Amanda's finally awake!"

"Yeah . . ." said Amanda as Becky quickly pulled her awake. "And since I woke up before a week fully passed by, I guess you and Natalya earned a big payday huh?"

"You got that right 'Manda!" said Becky as a sneaky smirk came upon her face as she turned to her brother. "Randy, pay up! You owe me $150!"

"Alright, alright . . ." said Randy with a shake of his head as he took out his wallet and handed her the money. "There you go; all $150."

"Thank you!" said Becky as the two walked into the suite. "Nate, Kaitlyn! You guys owe me $150 each!"

"AMANDA'S AWAKE!" exclaimed Nate as he walked out of a nearby room. Once he saw Amanda for himself, a disappointed look came across his face. 'Aw . . . couldn't you have stayed asleep for three more days!"

"Sorry . . . I just let nature do its' thing," said Amanda with a smirk as Kaitlyn and Cody both walked out the room, the latter drinking out of a blood bag of his own. "Getting used to your new life already Cody?"

"A little . . ." said the Dashing superstar as he un-fanged himself from his blood bag. "What about you?"

"It's a change . . ." said Amanda with a smirk as Randy came up behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist.

"Um . . . quick question; since Randy was the one that turned me; does that means he's my vampire father?" asked Cody unsurely as he raised an eyebrow.

"In a way . . . yeah," said Becky contemplatively as she put her hand underneath her chin.

"Uh . . . if that's the case, and since Randy also turned Amanda into a vampire, doesn't that mean Randy and Amanda are vampire father-daughter," Nate added as a look of shock came across his face, and then a look of disgust replaced it. "Aw Randy . . . you're dating your daughter. . ."

"Bro . . . no, stop . . . just stop," said Randy as he shook his head in disbelief. "I don't want to hear none of that. Let's just forget this was ever mentioned in the first place."

"But seriously bro . . ." said Nate as he continued with his case. "Amanda and Cody are your vampire children by venom, and Alanna is your child by blood. Aw . . . that means Cody, Alanna, and Amanda are all siblings. . . Congratulations!"

"Bro, quit it! Seriously!" said Randy as he narrowed his eyes at his brother. "I don't want to hear none of this."

"But you got to admit . . . Nate does make a good point," said Becky as her contemplative look remained on her face. "And if that's the case . . . yes, I got a new niece and nephew!"

"Not you too Becky!" whined Randy as he shook his head in disbelief. "I don't need this from both of my siblings."

"This is weird . . ." mumbled Cody as he finished the last of his blood bag. "I'm related to 'Manda and Randy by venom. 'Manda is my vampire sister, and Randy's my vampire dad."

"Not you too Cody . . ." said Randy as he leaned his head into the back of Amanda's shoulder.

"You know what I just realized," said Kaitlyn as she piped into the conversation. "If you are now related to Amanda and Randy Cody, then that means Dustin and Dusty are related to them too!"

"I'm related to Goldust?" asked Amanda as a horror stricken look came across her face, just as Randy continued to shake his head in disbelief. "Aw really . . ."

"Seriously . . . we should just end this right now, before anyone else learns about this. . . ." mumbled Randy as he shook his head.

"Sorry . . . we already know!"

"What was that?" asked Amanda in shock as she looked around the room. "That sounded like my sister's voice."

"Oh yeah . . ." said Kaitlyn as she walked back over to the room she came out of it, coming back a minute later with her laptop in hand, which had a small video camera connected to it on the top. "I forgot I still have my laptop open on Skype."

"Wait . . . you guys were conversing with my sister before we got here?" asked Amanda as Kaitlyn returned to standing next to Cody.

"No . . . we were talking with EVERYBODY before you all got here!" said Kaitlyn as she turned her laptop around so that everyone could see them. The group looked at the screen to see that all of their friends were crowding around the camera on their end, with Monica right in the middle of them. Even Steph and Hunter were shown on screen, but barely.

"So . . . you guys heard everything huh?" asked Randy as a sheepish scowl came across his face.

"Every single word . . ." said Edge as he let out a loud laugh. "Congrats on the new kids! Although, I would advise you to not date your own daughter Randy, that's just creepy, even if you two are the same age."

"Can't we all just let this die!" exclaimed Randy as he shook his head in disgust. "Please!"

"No way man!" said John with a smirk. "We are going to milk this for a long, and I mean LONG, time!"

"We'll be happy to arrange a family photo for the three of you if you want." added Steph as Hunter let out a loud chuckle right behind her.

"Randy, give it up . . ." said Amanda as she looked up at her mate. ". . . As much as you want to fight it, you just can't this time around. I have a feeling they are really going to use this against us and Cody for a long while."

"Oh joy . . ." mumbled the Viper in defeat as he shook his head.

"Hey . . . once we get to the next city, you all owe me and Nattie $150!" said Becky as she walked over to the monitor. "I already collected from Randy."

"Oh yeah . . . the bet," said Sheamus as he brushed a hand through his beard. "'Manda lassie, why couldn't you have slept for three more days?"

"Sorry . . ." said Amanda unsurely as Randy kissed the side of her head.

"Anyway . . . it's good to know that you two are walking up and about again," said Hunter with a smirk on his face. ". . . Considering the fact that you two have contract obligations to the company and all."

"Oh . . . so we're not going to 'leave the WWE' like Kaitlyn did?" asked Cody as he raised an eyebrow.

"Nope; you two are way too popular to lose right now," said Hunter as he shook his head. "Besides, we can bring Kaitlyn back to the ring anytime we want."

"And why haven't you yet?" asked Kaitlyn as she raised an eyebrow.

"I'll answer that later . . ." answered Hunter as he shook his head. "So . . . when can we expect you guys back here?"

"We can leave tonight," said Randy with a shrug. "We're not picky. . ."

"Good to know," said Monica as she shook her head. "My laptop's battery is dying so we're going to have to cut this conversation short. We'll see you guys later!"

"Bye!" said everyone as Monica logged off.

"Well . . . since we're leaving soon, I better get packing!" said Nate as he quickly walked over to the door.

"I still want my $150 Nate!" exclaimed Becky as she walked out the door.

"We'll see you guys downstairs then!" said Randy as he led 'Manda out the door. Kaitlyn and Cody waved their goodbyes as their friends left their suite before tending to their own business. Meanwhile outside of the suite, Randy and 'Manda were smirking when they saw Becky holding Nate in a chokehold down the hall.

"Give me my $150!" exclaimed Becky as she choked her brother out.

"Never!" exclaimed Nate as he continued to fight out of the hold.

"You're family really have their moments . . ." said 'Manda with a smirk as she crossed her arms.

"Of course they do . . ." said Randy. "But aren't you forgetting something?"

"What?" asked Amanda as she turned to him.

"You, and Monica, are also a part of that family . . ." said Randy with a smirk as he placed his hands on her hips.

"Well that's corny . . ." mumbled Amanda as she shook her head with a smirk on her face.

"Yeah . . . but you don't care, because you love me!" said Randy as he leaned his face down to hers.

"That I do . . . that I do." said Amanda with a smirk as she leaned her face up to his, the two sharing their first kiss as vampire and vampire.

Please review!

This is officially the end of the third story of the 'Going' series. Story #4 is probably going to be more comedic. I may put some drama in here and there, but one thing's for sure, Randy's siblings are definitely going to be in that story too (Because I love Becky and Nate so much).

Who knows . . . maybe I'll include something special for the snake couple . . . like a little 'bun in the oven'? . . . Hmm.

See you all in Story#4. (I may post it up tomorrow or next week, who knows?)
