"Come on Beca, this is just silly." Aubrey huffed from the bed. Chloe leaned against the head board, a book in her hand, laughing lightly at the two.

Beca was standing near the bedroom door refusing to get into the bed.

"Nope. You nearly made that girl cry, over piercings! It was a terrifying flashback Bree. Seriously. I know how she felt. You are scary."

"Beca, I love your piercing as well as your tattoos, the didn't pose any danger to being ripped out." She said. "You're seriously not going to come to bed because you think I'm going to rip your earrings out? You are being ridiculous."

"dermal anchors can be covered, she tried to tell you, and you went all nazi on her. How do I know you haven't suddenly changed your mind?"

Aubrey sighed and fell back against the bed. Chloe couldn't help but laugh.

"She has a point, Bree. You were scary obsessed with hating her piercings at first, and you fell back into your role as lead Bella very gracefully. It's a valid fear."

Aubrey looked up and glared at her playfully. Then looked at Beca sitting back up.

She smiled and narrowed her eyes.

"Beca." She said as she slowly stood up. "You know that we need you in the middle of the bed."

Becas eyes flashed to Chloe who was grinning excitedly as she closed her book. She looked back at Aubrey who had a knowing glint in her eyes.

"We can't sleep with out you," she smiled as she stepped closer to the now nervous brunette who took a step back. She knew that look, Aubrey only got that look when she knew she was about to win something, and she was excited to do it.

"Bree." Beca warned looking at Chloe again who was now kneeling on her knees on the bed, waiting.

"Oh come on, Becs..." Aubrey said and lunged at her. She screeched and dodge out of the way, backing away from Aubrey who now had her hands slightly raised, preparing to grab her.

"Aubrey, don't, I mean it." Beca said, feeling the shake in her voice from the anticipation of what was coming.

"You know you want it, Beca." Aubrey taunted and ran at her. A happy shriek escaped the smaller girl as she bolted away from the blonde and she chased after her. She lept onto the bed, and over it, causing Chloe to laugh as Aubrey did the same. She hit the ground on the opposite side and raised her hands.

"Okay, I'll get in bed, I swear I will, but you have to leave me alone..." Beca tried to compromise. Aubrey smiled and stood up straighter giving a nod.

"Okay." She said, her voice a few octaves higher, making Beca narrow her eyes, unconvinced, yet she took a step then two towards the bed.

Her suspicion was proven when Aubrey quickly grabbed her, and threw her on to the bed.

She yelped in surprise and was about to sit up when she felt Chloe grab her from behind and pin her arms up by her face.

"Chloe, no stop!" She yelled as Aubrey landed on her,her hands instantly going inside her shirt to run her fingers over her stomach and ribs. The smaller girl instantly erupted into a fit of giggles and began squirming and struggling as Chloe held her arms down and Aubrey straddled her, pinning ear hips down so she couldn't escape as she continued to tickle her.

"Stop, stop stop! Please stop!" She gasped, trying to catch her breath as she laughed and tears formed in her eyes. Chloe was laughing so hard she loosened her grip and Beca was able to pull free and sat up quickly, pushing a surprised Aubrey off of her and onto her back.

"Chloe!" The blonde cried in disbelief as Beca pinned her down to stop the tickle attack.

"I-im s-sorry." Chloe gasped through laughter.

"That was not nice, Posen. I agreed to come to bed." Beca said from above her.

Aubrey smirked, "You called me a nazi."

"You were acting like one." Beca laughed as Chloe began to calm herself and sat up, leaning over the brunette.

"Okay, okay I'm sorry." Aubrey said, "can we please go to sleep now? I'm amazed we haven't woken up Alex yet."

Beca scoffed playfully and got off of her, pulling her up as she did.

they got into their places on the bed, "You know that kid. She'd sleep through an earthquake." Chloe laughed as she turned off the lamp by the bed and they settled in.

"Kisses." She chirped and Beca and Aubrey shook their heads and gave her kisses goodnight, then each other the same, before cuddling up under the blanket, Beca using Aubreys chest as a pillow while Chloe curled around her.

They were just drifting off when they heard the front door close and footsteps.

Chloe sat up slightly to look at the clock. "Eleven forty-five, that's early for Stacie, these days." She said as they heard Stacies bedroom door close.

The other two nodded in agreement before getting comfortable again. The last three nights, Stacie had been staying out until the early hours of the morning. They didn't particularly care for her coming in so late, it often woke them, and freaked the, out until they realized who it was. But she was an adult. They had no say over how she spent her time. They were just happy she was getting out, and not dwelling and getting lost over the painful memories in which they knew she had.

The next morning, Aubrey and Chloe were at the table with Coffee and eggs, while Alex sat eating cereal and Beca made her way around the kitchen, making more coffee and cooking bacon.

"I have to go potty." Alex said with a mouth full of cereal causing milk to dribble down her chin.

Aubrey gave her a displeased look and she quickly grabbed her napkin and wiped her chin, then finished her bite. "Okay, now?" She asked.

"Yes, Alex, go." She laughed as she picked up a magazine off the table and opened it.

She slid off of her chair and ran out of the kitchen as Beca walked the plate of fresh bacon to the table.

"I was thinking we could go out to lunch today, before you go to help the Bellas." Chloe suggested taking a sip of her coffee.

"Yeah, that sounds fun." Aubrey smiled as Beca nodded in agreement.

She was just sitting down when a scream came down the hallway, followed by Alex running as fast as she could back into the kitchen, and Beca picked her up as Aubrey and Chloe stood up.

"There is a stranger!" She cried, clutching onto Beca as tightly as she could. Chloe moved to Becas side as Aubrey grabbed the phone to dial the police.

Alex was shaking and hiding her face in Becas neck as Stacie came running into the kitchen, wearing nothing but a oversized tshirt.

"It's okay, it's okay!" She said hurriedly. "I know him." She said as Aubrey stopped right before pressing call.

The stranger in question walked in behind her then. He was tall with brown messy hair. His pants undone, as well as his shirt, fully unbuttoned and open.

Aubrey dropped her hand with phone, staring in disbelief.

Chloe folded her arms, her eyes narrowing and Beca was looking at her in confusion and anger.

"Maybe I should go." The guy said.

"Maybe you should." Beca snapped. Stacie looked at her at her her tone.

"I'll call you later." She said. And kissed his cheek as he walked out.

As soon as the door closed, Aubrey slammed the phone on the counter making them all jump.

Stacie dropped her gaze, knowing what was coming.

"What the hell is wrong with you?!" They all looked at Beca, she was red in the face, her eyes glaring into Stacie.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean for that to happen."

Chloe shook her head. "What in the world would posses you to think that bringing home some random guy, when there is a child in the house, is a good idea, Stacie?!" Beca demanded.

Chloe looked over, She was still holding Alex, who was still hiding her face. She walked over. "I'll take her." She said softly and Beca realized then, that she was yelling while still holding her. She nodded and Chloe took her, then left the room. Aubrey walked up beside Beca.

"We were drunk, his place is far from here, so we came back here, I wanted to have him out before anyone got up. I didn't mean for him to scare Alex."

Aubrey couldn't believe what she was hearing. "You were drunk. You brought a drunk guy into our house, in the middle of the night. You don't even know him!"

Stacie looked at her, beginning to get angry.

"I fucking said I was sorry!" She yelled throwing her hands up. "What else do you want from me?!"

"To use your fucking brain, Stacie. What the hell has happened in the last few weeks, that made you think this was okay?" Beca demanded.

Stacies glare shot to the shorter girl.

"Excuse me?" She growled.

Beca didn't back down. Something inside her, was fueling her anger Stacie. She knew the feeling, it was familiar, but she couldn't quite place it. "You heard me,"

Aubrey knew what Beca meant. She was thinking the same.

"I did hear you. I want to know exactly what you mean Beca." She said stepping up to her.

Aubrey watched cautiously. Stacie was fuming, so was Beca. They both looked like they could and wanted to tear each other's eyes out. Something she hadn't seen between the two.

"After all we have been through. All Alex has seen, you bring some guy you don't even know into our home. Drunk. He scares our daughter, and all you can say is sorry, we were drunk, and his place was further."

Stacie looked at her. "Yeah," she snapped.

Becas eyes flashed down and she saw the small bruises on Stacies neck, no doubt put there by that guys lips. She felt a knot form in her belly and she looked back up at her.

"You've already moved on?" She asked before she could stop herself.

Aubrey saw the color drain from Stacies face, and predicted her reaction, quickly yanking Beca back as Stacies vision blurred and she raised her hand as if to slap her.

"Don't." Aubrey growled and pushed Stacie back. The Brunettes eyes were filling with tears as she glared at them, and dropped her hand.

"That was low, Beca." She croaked as she took a step back. Beca had stayed where Aubrey pulled her, just staring in anger at her.

She turned and walked out of the room. They heard her door slam and Aurbey turned to Beca with wide eyes.

She folded her arms and looked down angrily. "Beca, I understand, I do. But that was unnecessary." She said.

Beca nodded. "I know it was. I couldn't stop myself." She said.

Aubrey sighed, and pulled her in for a hug. She wrapped her small arms around her and let herself lean into her taller girlfriend.

They stayed like that for a moment before Beca pulled back. "We should check on Alex."

Aubrey nodded but stopped her. "Are you okay first?" She asked taking Becas face in her hands.

She nodded. "Yeah. I'm okay, thanks for.. You know.. Stopping her." She said and looked down. She knew she had gone too far, and what she said was a low blow, but Stacie had never been the type to turn to violence when she was angry. She was glad Aubrey had been there and was able to break it up.

"I love you."

Aubrey smiled and kissed her forehead. "I love you too." She said before taking her hand and they walked toward Alex's room.

The walked in to find Chloe had dressed her, and pulled her hair back into clips. They were sitting on the floor with her coloring books when the door opened.

they walked in and sat on the ground with them. Chloe looked expectant, wanting to know what happened.

"Are you okay, Bunny?" Beca asked as Alex picked up a new crayon and began scribbling in her book.

"Mhm. I don't like that man. I don't want him to come back." She said looking up.

Beca nodded. "He won't. I promise."

"Are you and Aunt Stacie in a fight?"

She was about to answer when the phone rang. Aubrey stood up. "I got it." She said and left the room.

Beca looked back at Alex. "We are upset with each other. But we will be okay."

"I don't like when you yell." She said as she stopped coloring and looked up at Beca.

She sighed and Chloe smiled sadly. "I know, I don't like it either." She said. "From now on, I'll try really hard no too, okay?"

She put her crayon down and climbed into Becas lap, giving her a hug. "Okay. I love you Mama."

"I love you too, princess."

Chloe smiled at the two as Aubrey walked back in. Alex let go and settled herself in her lap as Beca and Chloe turned to look at the blonde who was standing with an unreadable expression on her face.

"What's wrong?" Chloe asked.

"Alex, will you please go play in the back yard?" Aubrey asked. She nodded and stood up. "Can I play in the dirt?"

"No." Aubrey laughed. "Stay clean, please." The little girl sighed but ran out of the room and Beca and Chloe stood up and followed Aubrey back into the kitchen to finish their coffee.

"Um, Jesse was arraigned today."

Becas eyes grew, "what, they said it could be weeks before anything got started."

"It's starting." Aubrey said.

Chloe looked down. "And?"

"And, yeah, he entered his plea."

Beca looked at her, waiting. "What was it?"

"He plead not guilty, of course. Um, they wanted us to begin preparing for trail. To meet with our lawyers and get ready to go on the stand."

"Already?" Chloe asked. Not that they weren't thrilled it was moving along, but they weren't ready. They weren't ready to take the stand. To tell what happened. To relive it.

"Yeah, um, they said they want this case settled before the new year."

Beca shook her head. "That's in 6 months."

Aubrey nodded. "Yep. They said, it shouldn't last much longer. He should have just plead guilty, but then, no trial and he gets his sentence right away. He is stalling."

Beca growled in frustration.

"Well, I suppose we better start preparing." She said standing up.

Aubrey and Chloe watched as she walked out the back door to join Alex where she sat in the grass.

"I can't believe he plead not guilty, why did they even give him that option? Everyone knows the truth." Chloe said.

"I don't know. I just hope, this goes by fast and we can get out of here." She said taking a sip of her now cold coffee, she grimaced and spit it back into the cup.

Chloe laughed and gave a gross face. "Ew, Bree," she laughed.

Aubrey laughed as well and stood up, taking her coffee to dump in the sink.

"Shut it, Red."

Chloe shook her head and looked out to the back yard where Beca and Alex sat side by side, their backs to the door. Both long curly hair falling down their backs. She smiled at her two favorite Brunettes and stood to get ready for the day.
