"I can tell you how to save the Viking," Joe teased.
Abigail sighed and sat down in the chair at the head of the coffee table. "I don't know how you know that, but I honestly don't care."
"There are two ways…both are blonde, but one is forever while the other has little time left. One is noble while the other is a coward…they are as different as races," Joe said cryptically.
Abigail rolled her eyes. "I don't have time for riddles."
"Oh, you have all the time in the world when you're here. This place is like a personal hell for anyone where time files by in the blink of your eye," Joe informed her, still looking down at his cards.
"You're lying."
"Am I?" Joe questioned amusingly as he put his cards down and looked at her. "Your husband created this prison for me. Draven helped. They gave me endless time, nasty little grudges if you ask me."
"You tortured and raped me God knows how many times," she said, trying to be calm. "Eric's a fucking Viking and not only do you want his son, but you raped his wife too so excuse me if he thinks that it's not a little grudge to hold onto. If there is anything that Eric loves more than me, it's his vengeance."
"I don't even know how long I have been in here, but I can guess that it's been at least eight months or so judging by your stomach," Joe calculated.
Abigail shook her head. "It's been almost three years since you've been in here I think. You were moved from a prison to an asylum so I guess time can fly by here."
Joe had a thoughtful expression on his face as he stared into the ground. "Oh…see? This just proves my point exactly. Time is endless here and you can't even tell the difference."
"What do you know about my son? He's a miracle child, right? So what makes him so special?"
"He's born from two vampires which has never ever been even thought of. There is something special about your son. He's a prince, the first-born son, a Viking, and he is a human born with both vampire and faerie powers. Now I don't know about you, but I would want that kid on my side on any kind of fight."
"Why do you say that?"
"Because he's powerful," he said simply.
"Yeah, but how?"
Joe sighed heavily like she was being some kind of a burden to him. "He can heal Eric with his blood by a single drop and soon he will able to do so much more than heal someone."
"I am not going to use my baby to heal Eric. What's the other way?"
"A woman named Sarah Newlin stupidly drank the antidote for the virus among the vampires," Joe told her. "Her blood can heal the infected vampires when they drink from her. She can save them all…but then again so can your son."
"God, I fucking hate that woman. There are already people after him, aren't they?"
Joe nodded with a smirk on his face. "The Japanese heard the rumor about your son. They're looking for you and for Eric too."
Abigail stood up and said with determination. "Eric too? I have to go and warn him."
"Wait," Joe said quickly. "There is trouble out there right now. You're the safest in here. I can assure you that if you go out there then you will give birth to him and before you can even hold him in your arms, he will be taken away from you."
"Wait," she whispered. "No, I won't. I'm not even seven months yet and I know the doctor has been saying that I should be able to give birth at any moment now, but I'm only seven months pregnant and the baby looks to be nine already."
"Since your son has vampire qualities with him. He will grow very fast and then he will stop at an age." Joe leaned in closer and asked, "You've been craving it, haven't you? The hunger is becoming unbearable, isn't it? You fee like you want to rip everyone's head off and suck all of the blood out of them, don't you?"
Abigail knitted her eyebrows in confusion as she nodded. "Yeah. I've already lost control and almost killed a good friend of mine."
Joe suddenly placed his hand on top of her stomach and Abigail sat there frozen because she didn't know if he was going to hurt her baby or her. Joe's lip curled and closed his eyes.
"I can already feel the power from him," Joe opened his eyes and continued. "He's strong…what's surprising is that he's of light and not of darkness like his parents."
"Of light?" she questioned curiously. "You mean he's good and not evil…"
Joe nodded and moved away. "I didn't expect him to be so," Joe scowled. "Good."
Abigail smiled widely. "So he is good?"
"Only if he isn't taken away from you or Eric then yes he is I suppose," Joe assumed. "Anyways so what do you plan on doing now, Mrs. Northman?"
She looked down at him and said coldly, "I'm going to save my husband. I don't care if I give birth when I go out there, but Eric needs me."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes," she answered firmly.
Joe stood up and looped their arms together. "Then let me show you something that I think you need to see."
They walked out of the common room and down a long narrow hallway. The nuns didn't even acknowledge their presence which she found very odd. The Twins followed behind them like silent bodyguards. Joe led her to a door and opened it. She found that it was some type of laboratory for science. There were metal tables with medical instruments on them, all lined up perfectly. Lights flooded the room and there in the middle of it was a table with someone lying on it. She couldn't see the person lying on it because shower curtains were blocking her view.
Joe opened the curtains and she gasped at who was lying on the table. Her eyes wide as she walked forward and stared at them.
How could they be alive? They're supposed to be dead.
Eric was beyond worried right now.
Where is she?!
Eric had hidden his worry behind a mask this entire time. He couldn't feel her again. He wanted to tell her so much. Like why he had them married when he thought that she was dead. I did it because I didn't want the only thing on her grave stone to be: Beloved Friend. I wanted there to be Wife on it too.
So here he was with his first sunrise with his progeny and both were chained up with silver to the chairs as they faced a window with the perfect view of the morning sun. Though a man named Gus was sitting in his way of course. If there weren't silver chains around him then he would have easily killed this man probably and his bodyguards.
He knew he really should've called Abigail and informed her on his whereabouts, but he couldn't reach her and Pam suggested that it would be best if she didn't know because of her track record with putting her life on the line just to save the ones she loved. Also that Abigail was at a fragile state right now. Eric had agreed with Pam on it and went forth with his mission on killing the woman who was responsible for his sister's death.
He was surprised at how much Pam appeared to care for his unborn child and Abigail's safety since she had made her disgusted opinion of what she called children, "little monster with tiny human hands". His Child seemed to get eccentric when she came in contact with tiny hands; she seemed to loathe their tininess. Eric wanted to laugh at that, but he knew that Pam would get angry with him thus ignoring him for a time being.
Gus put a photo of Sarah Newlin in front of him and Eric strained his neck to see it.
"Do you know this woman?"
"Yeah, I know her," Eric said nonchalantly.
"Do you know where she is?"
"No."
"Do you have any information that could lead us to Sarah Newlin?"
Eric pretended to think about it for a moment before answering, "Uh, no."
Gus chuckled. "Well…that is unfortunate because the sun is going to rise in the East in three minutes and you'll be frying like eggs on Texas…and you'll leave your son fatherless."
Eric froze and then stiffened. Gus's lips turned into a wide grin like he was satisfied with his words and what they did to him.
"Oh, you didn't think that we didn't know about your beautiful wife and unborn son, did you?" Gus questioned. "I must say that it is surprising that a child is born to two vampires. I thought that they were lying about that, but once I had one of my men take this earlier I soon realized just how valuable your cozy little family will become."
Gus took out a photo of Abigail and placed it in front of them. She was outside of a building somewhere he recognized, but couldn't put his finger on it. She was still in the clothes he remembered she was wearing when he left her on the porch, promising to return to them-to her. His mind tried to remember where he had recognized that place before.
"She's in front of a mental hospital named St. Peter's, any concern of yours, Mr. Northman?" Gus inquired curiously.
"No," he trailed off. Eric knew though who she was going to see and that made him both angry and suspicious of his Goldilocks' plans.
"Anyways, I must say that your wife is very beautiful and she looks to be about nine months give or take so at any moment she could go into labor, correct?"
Eric didn't answer him, but Gus continued, "Once that child is born into this cruel and hateful world we live in, everyone will come after him. The Christians, Catholics, Jews, Hindus-every religious group that you can name will come after this child. Now I don't know about you, Mr. Northman, but I don't think that you can take them all on your own."
"What's your point?" Pam growled in Eric's defense.
"My point being that if you tell me where Sarah Newlin is then I will offer the complete and full protection of your child."
"What makes you think that we can't protect him?" Eric snarled.
"You're dying and your wife can't go in the sun," Gus said. "They will attack you and kidnap your precious child when he's in the daylight, unprotected, and defenseless."
Eric wanted to smirk at the man who didn't know that Abigail had the ability to go into the sun and protect their child but even then he knew that they couldn't take them all because there were too many of them. Eric wondered who exactly spilled the beans on his child and once he found them then he would tear their throats out immediately.
"Two minutes," Gus warned.
Eric and Pam could see the glimmer of blue rising into the buildings. His skin started to feel tingly right now, but he pushed away the pain that was seeping onto his skin.
"He'll kill us any way if we tell him," Eric told Pam.
"Give us your word. If your fucking honor is so damn important then give us your word on your honor that you won't kill us and won't harm that baby if we tell you what you want to know," Pam said without hesitation.
"You have my word," Gus replied honestly.
"One more condition," Eric said. "I will be the one to kill Sarah Newlin."
"No," Gus immediately snapped. "Non-negotiable."
"Oh, who gives a shit who deals the deathblow," Pam groaned. "Dead is dead."
"Sarah Newlin destroyed my company-my product. She will reap my retribution."
Eric leaned closer and coldly said to him, "Sarah Newlin killed my sister and when I find her I am going to wrap my hands around her neck and snap her little blonde bobble head right off."
"Eric, stand the fuck down," Pam strained to say to him.
They could both feel the burning sensation on their faces like someone was purposely putting fire all over their faces.
"And you," Pam turned to Gus. "Shut the fuck up about your stupid corporation. Sarah Newlin's gonna be having the last fucking laugh, shopping at Barney's and having a manicure if you two can't stop measuring your dicks and make a fucking deal!"
"I kill her…you get the body and you stay out of my son's life," Eric said weakly, but yet just as firm.
Gus thought about it and then finally told them, "Deal."
He clicked a button towards the window and the shades went down. As soon as they were down, both Eric and Pam groaned in relief as their skin started to heal.
"Sarah Newlin has a sister who just so happens to live here in Dallas," Pam explained.
Abigail stuttered, "H-How is…but-"
Joe smirked. "I am a demon, my sweet Abigail. I have many ways."
Abigail's finger grazed over Godric's cheek and then his tattoos. She saw how dead he still looked when he was sleeping. She couldn't believe that he was alive right now.
"I saw him die," she snapped at him. "He's supposed to be dead."
Joe nodded. "You're right. He is supposed to be dead, but you see I brought back his soul back from practically the depths of Hades and it took me a long time to recreate his body like how it was supposed to be."
"He's alive though…it's impossible. I saw him turn to dust."
"A child being born to two vampires is impossible and yet here you are with child." Joe suggested. "He's human though, not a vampire anymore."
Abigail stared coldly at him, her eyes speculating. "What's the catch? You bring Godric back-the past love of my life and what's in it for you?"
Joe sighed heavily as he walked to the other side of the operating table across from her. "I want that child of yours protected at all costs."
"No. There's something else you want."
Joe held his hands up in defeat. "Alright, you got me. Just one more thing. I want a favor from you."
She scoffed and crossed her arms over her chest. "Yeah, like that's gonna happen."
"Oh, but it will because I have given you two ways to save your husband, the protection of your child who everyone will be coming after since they might think of him as the Anti-Christ of your world, and I have given you and your husband back the person who means most to the both of you so all I ask in return is a favor."
Abigail glared furiously at him. "What is the favor then?"
"Um, let's see what do I want…I want you to let me out of this prison."
"No," she shouted. "I will not let you out of here."
Joe slammed his fist onto the metal table angrily and growled lowly, "You will get me out of here. I have spent too much time in this place to drive anyone mad. You. Must. Release. Me."
Abigail smirked and realized as she leaned across the table, "I am only able to let you out, aren't I?"
Joe's eye twitched in anger and that made her even happier. "I knew it. They knew that if they made me the only one on this Earth that actually has the power to let you go that you would never be set free because of me. I must admit that it is very clever."
She could see Joe's fists curl as he became frenzy when he threw one of the tables into the wall. She didn't even blink at him because she was already used to Eric's anger that Joe's didn't even compare to his.
"What are you going to do if I set you free?" Abigail asked suspiciously.
"It won't harm you or anyone else that you care about. I promise that. I have unfinished business with another demon actually," Joe cryptically informed her.
Abigail eyed him, still wary of his secret motives. "Give me one name that you want your vengeance on and I will release you."
Joe smirked and answered, "Marcel Finland. Now say that you release me."
Abigail sighed and complied, "I release you."
Wind rustled through her locks and through his now long black hair that reached to his shoulders. He closed his eyes in bliss and smiled up above him. Abigail quickly held onto Godric when the world started to shake violently for a moment then it stopped. She vaguely heard piles of screams coming from somewhere though they were faint to her ears.
"By the way," Joe began. "Give Godric a drop of your baby's blood and then he will awaken as a living breathing human."
He made his way to the door then stopped and turned back around to her. "The reason why I showed you Godric is because Eric knew that he was alive."
She froze and felt her heart drop as she whispered, "What?"
"Yep. I showed him Godric and he told me to not tell you about it or else he will do something very horrible to me yada yada yada. So if I were you I would look to your hubby and question whether or not you even want to be with him. See you later, baby mama."
Dark smoke appeared around them and soon she found herself and Godric back on Bill's porch. She kneeled down beside Godric and examined him to make sure that he was okay. The door opened and Sookie walked out in a robe. She gasped as she Godric with her hand over her mouth in shock.
"How…what the fuck, Abby," Sookie huffed at her.
"Please, I'll explain later just help me get him inside."
Sookie nodded and while she carried his legs, Abigail grabbed his head. They carried him inside and Sookie ordered her to bring him into the living room. She threw him onto the couch and Sookie squeaked when the sheet that was covering his lower half fell from him. She covered her eyes immediately while Abigail chuckled in amusement as she placed the sheet back onto him.
"Where's Bill?" Abigail asked.
"Um," Sookie glanced upstairs and that was when Abigail took in her attire.
"No way…you and Bill are back together now?"
Sookie shrugged. "I really don't know, but oh, Abby, we've worried sick about you."
Abigail knitted her brows in confusion. "Why? I've only been gone for like two hours."
Sookie stared at her. "No, you've been gone for a week now. Where did you go?"
"Well, Joe called me and-"
"OH MY GOD," Sookie shouted. "HE DID WHAT?! Are you and the baby okay? I swear if he did something to either of you then I may just go and kill him myself."
Abigail smiled at how concerned she was and nodded. "Yes, we're fine. He called me and asked me that I go to him since he had information on my son, but when I refused to, he somehow teleported me over there. It was weird."
"So how did he bring Godric back?"
She shrugged. "I really don't know, but I honestly don't care because now Godric is back. The only problem is that Eric lied to me about it."
"He lied to you?" Sookie said in shock. "Why?"
"Who knows honestly? All I need to focus on is getting Godric back and the baby as well."
"How are you gonna bring Godric back?"
"Well, apparently, my baby's blood can heal people. That's what Joe wanted to tell me…that my son's blood is the answer to all of our problems with the virus. He already warned me that every fucking religious out there are already after him thinking that he's some kind of Anti-Christ since he's born to two vampires," Abigail explained.
She had decided to leave out the part about the deal since she felt that it wasn't important…not yet at least.
"Wait, your baby's blood can heal Eric who's infected with Hep-V, right?"
"Yeah, why?"
"It's Bill…he had Hep-V, Abby," Sookie said with such sadness that it made Abigail emotional.
"No," she whispered. "He's Bill. He's the good guy in every love story and the fucking hero in every tale out there-he can't die."
"Your son's blood can save him."
"Godric needs a drop of his blood in order for him to awaken and first, I need for him to be born first and I really don't know if I want to take my son's blood away from him when he first comes into this shitty world, Sook. I'm his mother-what kind of a mother would I be if I did that to him?"
"You won't have to," Bill said weakly from the doorway. "I still have that vial of blood from your child which I took from."
"You do?" Abigail said hopefully.
Bill nodded slowly. "Use it on Godric…not me."
"But Bill," Sookie protested. "You will die if you don't take it. It can heal you."
"There is another way," Abigail suggested. "Joe told me that the bitch Sarah Newlin drank the entire anecdote for the virus and now it runs through her veins this very moment."
Sookie brightened. "So all we have to do is find her and get Bill to drink her blood, right?"
Abigail nodded. "Yeah, he said that it only takes a drop to heal them."
Bill took the vial out of his pocket and handed it to her. Abigail quickly took it and opened it. She sat beside Godric and opened his mouth as Bill and Sookie stood by her side, both watched with amazement as the blood slid into his mouth. Abigail held his face in her delicate hands as she waited for him to awake from his long sleep.
They all jumped a little when he his eyes shot opened and he gasped for air.
"Godric," she whispered as he looked into her loving eyes.
"Abigail," he replied breathlessly.

THANK YOU ALL FOR THE REVIEWS, FOLLOWS, AND FAVORITES! YOU ALL ARE TOO AWESOME!
Sorry for the cliffhanger, but I need to ensure that you all will come back for the next chapter haha.
SO HE'S BACK! Like I said, this is going to have an HEA ending in the way future. So I decided on a quick thought to bring Godric back since I kind of missed this guy and I really wanted him back so there I brought him back. End of story, but more to Godric's return will be explained next chapter. Eric is going make a strange, but funny appearance in my opinion. Joe's out and about so that will cause some angry words from a certain husband of Abigail.
Oh, I just can't wait now because I was honestly on the verge of having a writer's block for this story and then Godric popped himself back into my mind. Ugh, the letter, "u" on my keyboard is not working right now and is being a little shit so I apologize if I am missing letters. I hoped you liked this chapter.
