Man, I am on FIRE! I feel so awake! Can I make it to 7 one-shots?! Let's give it a try!

From gyaradosmaster2: "what happened after Dipper went back to the party in northwest mansion noir?"

Hmmm... This one will take a bit of thought. I'm assuming you mean after McGucket warned him of the apocalypse? (and the little shit ignored his warning like an idiot...)

For One Night

"What is your sister doing?" Pacifica asked, an eyebrow raised as she watched the brunette dance with her friends.

"I think it's called dancing," Dipper said sarcastically, which earned him a light punch to the shoulder and an eye roll. "What?"

"It just looks kind of weird. I mean, most of the richer guests aren't dancing at all and then they're just...going for it, I guess."

The boy snorted. "You act like you've never seen people dance like that at a party."

"Not at any of my parents' parties," she grumbled, making Dipper frown as her words sank in. "I think that one you had at the Mystery Shack was the first one I've really seen people dance like this."

"Gee, your parents are total jerks," Dipper muttered, glaring in the direction of said adults as they scurried about in an effort to try and stop Sheriff Blubbs from eating all of the desserts.

Pacifica sighed and glanced back, only to frown in surprise at how angry the preteen boy looked. Other than his sister, nobody had ever really cared about her way of life before. She hadn't expected Dipper of all people to be so mad, yet supportive of her.

"Let's not talk about them anymore. I mean, they're probably going to yell at me later so I want to actually enjoy tonight without ghosts getting in the way."

The boy turned back and smiled a little. "Okay. Well, the first step will probably be joining Mabel and dancing."

"Huh? Why?"

Dipper rolled his eyes, although he seemed more amused than annoyed. "Because look at her? She's having loads of fun and like you said, most of the richer jerks here are just sitting around talking!"

Pacifica shifted her weight and glanced over again at Mabel and her strange pair of friends. They did look like they were enjoying themselves...

"Do you... Do you think she'd be okay with that?"

Dipper was confused for a second before he shook his head and laughed. "Pacifica, Mabel doesn't hate you anymore, you know. I'm sure she'd love it if you joined."

Anymore. Despite his reassuring words, the accidental slip made her internally flinch. Yeah, she had definitely been a terrible person. She made a silent vow to fix that as soon as possible - and not just by opening the gates to the mansion for the townspeople.

"Well... Alright, I guess." A sly grin crept onto her face. "But only if it means you don't sit around and mope either, Pines."

He sighed dramatically, a smile struggling to make its way onto his face. "Oh, no! You've figured out my plans for the night!"

The blonde laughed and tugged him in the direction of his sister, shaking her head at his weirdness. Then again, a bit of weird fun wasn't so bad after all.

Just two dorks having fun. Nothing to see here.
