Theme: Inviting Trouble

Sesshomaru had kicked them out. Yusuke had not gone quietly even when the older dog demon leveled him with a cold stare. Kagome, not wanting to witness that confrontation, had managed to drag him out before any harm could be done to the Spirit Detective.

"I could have taken him," Yusuke said with a scowl as they lingered outside Koenma's office.

Kagome giggled at his reaction as Kurama spoke, "Do you have any idea who that is?"

Yusuke shook his head and said, "No, idea."

"He is a very old and powerful dog demon," Kagome spoke with a sigh, leaning against a wall besides Shizuru. She vaguely wondered how Sesshomoaru knew she was there and what was going to happen to her now. She knew she had been inviting trouble when she unsealed her powers, but she hadn't expected to be pulled into the thick of things so soon.

Looking up, she met Kurama's curious, emerald gaze. No doubt he had questions, questions that she wasn't sure she could answer for him. Thankfully, she was distracted when Shizuru blew a puff of smoke in her direction. She and Kuwabara looked at the older brunette in shock and disbelief.

"Are you even allowed to do that here," Kuwabara asked. Shizuru shrugged and continued to smoke.

"Hey, let me have one of those," Yusuke demanded, holding a hand out expectantly.

Kagome scrunched her nose up in disgust as Shizuru said, "Get your own."

"Miko."

All eyes turned to the double doors that led to Koenma's office. Sesshomaru stood in the entryway, gazing impassively at the group before him.

"Follow," he ordered, stepping away and walking down the opposite end of the hall. Kagome rolled her eyes in annoyance but quickly did as she was told.

"Shizuru," Koenma spoke up, garnering the others attention. "One of the spirit guides can take you home. You three, in my office now."
