Thanks for the reviews last chapter and no, I am not ending Percabeth. By destroying the Perseus Attraction, Percy and Annabeth's love can now grow naturally instead. Please continue to review as it really motivates me and keeps this story alive!

Okay, Percy would be flat out honest:

As if it wasn't bad enough that he had risked his life to save Annabeth, nearly died in the most embarrassing way possible, and had to face Artemis fan girling after, it now turned out that Annabeth didn't love him and now their entire relationship was awkward because of his confession. So, that sucked.

Luke clapped his shoulder. "Don't worry, Starchild. She might not love you now, but give it two more seasons of danger and adventure, and that's enough to put love in any bitches' heart."

Percy nodded. "Yeah, thanks, Luke."

The son of Hermes clapped his hands and did a little jig. "I feel great! Back in the story, not being a bad guy, it really is quite refreshing." He started stepping back, shaking his hips. Just as he reached the edge of the cliff, he suddenly snapped alert.

"Oh, wait, Percy! I need to tell you that something important!"

Percy turned to face him.

"I've got the Curse," just then, his sticky feet betrayed him. He shuffled his hips too close to the edge and tipped off.

"Luke?" Percy asked, not quite believing that Luke had just danced off the edge.

Annabeth went flying to the edge and looked down. Percy joined her as she screamed down at Luke's broken form.

Percy wrapped his arms around her as she struggled to take in Luke's demise.

"It's okay," Percy told her, stroking her hair.

She pushed away from him. "No, it's not!" She cried. "Luke's… he's dead."

"It's terrible, but-"

Annabeth cut him off with a sob. "No, I… I can't believe-"

"I don't think anyone can believe he danced off the edge."

She stood up abruptly. "You don't even care!"

Percy frowned. "Of course I do-"

"You come here with some weird burns-," Percy glanced down at his Hunter's Mark, "-and you forget who your friends really are!"

Percy clenched his fists. "What's that supposed to mean?"

Annabeth gestured at Mark Sue and Zoe (who just so happened to be dying) and Thalia (who was still relating how she had killed Atlas with her bare hands).

"You forget me, and Luke, and Grover, the people who took you in-"

"Forget?!" Percy asked incredulously. "Annabeth, I risked my life to bring you back. I had to sneak onto this quest, and you don't understand what I've been through! You're being unfair just because you've lost someone!"

"Are you still angry about that?" Annabeth asked, referring to his confession.

"That? Go on, say what it really was!"

"You're just angry that I don't love you."

"Like you loved Luke?" Percy deduced.

"Take that back," She snarled. "You don't understand! Before you came, he… he was always looking out for you, and then you came, and I got all these weird feelings, but they were nothing, and I know that now. I don't see why you have to get so angry at my choices! They didn't mean anything."

"They meant something to me," Percy replied defiantly.

Grover suddenly came between them, wrapping his arms around them.

"Ah, isn't this cathartic! Get it all out! The three main characters back for another hurrah! They'll be undisclosed romantic feelings, and awesome best friend fist bumps." He held his fist out and Percy unconsciously bumped it.

Annabeth turned to Grover. "Oh, grow up, Grover! You're not a main character, and you're not even in the Heroes of Olympus series!"

Grover looked at Percy, hurt. But you said you'd fix it with the writer. I'd be in Season 6!"

Percy looked down uncomfortably. "Sorry, Grover."

Grover raised his hands in a 'save it' way, before striding off. Percy watched him, go, before trudging off to where Zoe was dying.

He knelt down next to her and took her hand. "I'm sorry," he told her. "I cant remember how you got injured."

Zoe frowned at him. Itth wth intht thtt hittth thttha myth fathetth gavish toth meeetth."

Percy tried to pretend he had understood this, before just turning to Artemis.

"Yeah, I didn't get any of that."

Artemis sighed. "She's dying, and with it, she's kinda falling back into her old method of speech."

"You mean she used to speak like this?"

"It made sense back then," Artemis replied defensively. She turned back to Zoe. "How are you doing?"

Zoe made some noises.

"She says she's dying, but she's okay with that, because her contract says that you'll mention her at least every two chapters."

Percy frowned. "I agreed to that?"

Artemis raised an eyebrow. "Do you even read your contracts?"

"Not really," he admitted.

Arty brushed her hair back and smiled. "I heard you arguing with Annabeth."

Percy scowled. "Yeah, well," he waved a hand, "that's gratitude for you."

Artemis completely ignored Zoe's last words and laid a hand on Percy's arms. "It gets better."

The son of Poseidon smiled. "Talking from experience?"

"Obviously."

Percy smiled to himself. "This is not how I expected my evening to go."

"No," Arty replied. "No, I was expecting some sort of dinner, maybe a party to celebrate our victory. Something like that."

"Don't give up on that," Percy told her, pulling out his phone. "I'll call Mr. D, get him to bring Blackjack around and then we can get you back home." He sighed, looking down at Zoe sadly.

"She didn't even get a proper send off. We just ignored her last words."

Artemis looked at him with her amber eyes. "No… she just wants to be remembered, like all of us. But sometimes," she looked down at the ground. "Sometimes that just doesn't happen."

Percy scratched the back of his head. "I should probably go check on Mark Sue."

Artemis nodded slightly, placing her hand over Zoe's form. Percy turned away as it started to glow.

He trudged up to Mark Sue. "You okay?"

Mark Sue nodded, still staring at Atlas, who struggled under the sky.

"I just had a deep emotional connection with Artemis, which was a little weird."

Mark Sue nodded as if this was expected. "Well, the produces are in talk for bringing back Pertemis for Season 4. Maragon11 requested it ages ago. Also, you're going to be having some Annabeth related fantasies."

"Am I?

"That's IadoreFluffyRomance's request."

"Fantastic."

Percy, Annabeth, Grover, Mark Sue, Artemis, Thalia and Mr D stepped out of Blackjack and made their way up Olympus Lane.

As they approached Artemis house, the door opened to reveal a ragged Hera, who gaped in shock as her daughter came running up to her.

Percy smiled as Zeus and Apollo came out, reuniting the family. His happiness became bittersweet as he saw Annabeth step up next to him.

They stood awkwardly for a while as Mr D came up to tell Zeus all about what had happened, while Thalia, tailing behind, sprouted all the moments where she had done something.

"For what it's worth," Percy started. "I'm sorry about what happened to Luke."

Annabeth shook her head sadly. "Well, when he got outvoted on the poll by Retard… his characterisation was worse than Sylar in Season 3 of Heroes, flipping between hero and villain. I'm not surprised the writer killed him off."

"Still," Percy replied. "I'd hate to lose you."

Annabeth nodded. "Yeah, about that… I think we should just give it time. I feel…," she turned to face Percy. "I feel like everything's become a mess. I know we had… something, but it's all conflicting and," she stared at Percy. "I really want to know what's going on with your hair."

Percy made an annoyed face, before relating the story between himself and Aphrodite, making sure to leave out the parts about the Perseus Attraction.

He was cut off as Nico made his way up.

"Che succede tu asino, piccola cagna?"

Percy frowned. "Speak American, goddamnit!"

Nico made a face. "Err… was mia sorella?"

Annabeth moved forward. "Do you mean, 'where'?"

"Si," Nico nodded. "Bianca?" he asked, waving his arms.

Annabeth turned to look at Percy expectantly. Percy ran a hand through his quiff and sighed.

"Look, Nico, we need to talk?"

"About this quiff?" Nico asked with a thick accent.

"No."

"Si?"

"No, no, no," Percy clarified, shaking his head. "Look," he put a hand on Nico's shoulder. "I… I don't… Nico, I'm so sorry, but your sister is dead."

Nico stared at him and Percy suddenly felt that he needed to explain everything.

"We were fighting this robot thing, and it all went wrong!" He said frantically. "I couldn't stop it, but Bianca- I told her not to do it, but she was so depressed about not being higher on the poll and she just…," he blinked back tears. "She saved us all, Nico, and I can't tell you how sorry I am."

Nico looked into his eyes, on the verge of tears and said:

"I am a-being sorrier, but I did a-not understand a word you said."

Percy straightened up. "Okay, well, I'll tell you later."

Nico walked off and Annabeth came up, putting a hand on Percy's shoulder. "I'm so sorry, Percy." He turned to face her as she wrung her hands. "I didn't understand what you've been through, and I'm sorry for just-," she frowned as Percy handed her hat back.

"I heard the recording," he told her. "I know you're lying."

Annabeth looked desperate. "Percy, I-"

"Save it," he told her, before walking off and into the house.

Zeus sat on the sofa with the rest of the family and looked at the quest members.

"We can't ever repay you," he told them. "But we'd like to try. Anything you want?"

Percy had to admit he was a little thrown off by that simple declaration, but before he could even really think about it, Grover started listing off all the clothes he'd seen on the way here, that had just been a little too expensive, the list of which was very long, allowing Percy to stare at Annabeth wistfully because his heart had been torn up and thrown on the ground before being crushed under Annabeth's swollen egotistical hypocrite of a foot.

Zeus finally go to Mark Sue, who jus waved a hand. "It was just an honour to return your daughter to you."

Everyone else made embarrassed faces at how cheesy this sounded.

Zeus turned to Percy. "Can I do anything for you?"

Percy glanced at Annabeth, before setting his face and turning back to Zeus. "You couldn't get me a new sword, could you? Mines pretty damn retarded."

Zeus shook his head. "I'm sorry. I would, but that was before Retard rose to be third on the polls, so…"

Percy nodded his understanding before pointing at his hair. "Could you get rid of this quiff then? Aphrodite gave it to me, and I don't want it."

Zeus breathed a sigh of relief. "Good, for a moment there, I thought you actually wanted that thing! I thought; 'Zeus, you'll never understand what the kids think are dope these days' but thank the Gods."

He spoke quietly to Hera, who got up and walked off.

Zeus gestured after her. "She's just getting a special soap you can run through your hair. Should fix everything right up. It was some powerful magic my daughter pulled on you."

Percy smiled in response. "You can understand why I don't want to talk about it."

Zeus nodded before turning towards Thalia.

"I have something to tell you-"

Thalia moved forward in her chair. "Are you telling me that I'm about to be named heir of Olympus!?"

Zeus frowned. "No, Thalia. I'm going to tell you that you are arrogant and you need reeling in."

Thalia fell back into her chair, with a dumbfounded expression on her face.

"No," Zeus continued, more gently. "My brother, Jupiter, has had a child. Well, he had he a while ago."

Thalia looked at him suspiciously. "What has this got to do with me?"

"His name is Jason and he doesn't have anyone else. I want you to look after him."

She frowned. "Why should I have to look after him? Why is this my responsibility?"

Zeus sighed. "Thalia… I was hoping you'd be a little more accepting for the idea. You'd have a home, and safety, and it's not like he's a child. He's only a few years younger than you."

She crossed her arms and turned away. "It's not fair."

"Life isn't, but he's got no-one else and if you want to turn up in Season 6 as a guest character, you only have one option."

Percy got up slowly and edged out of the room as the silence lengthened. He walked to the curb and sighed, the wind rustling his quiff.

He cocked his ear as a voice reached him. He turned and followed sounds of splashing, making his way around the house. He kept to the edge of the wall and peeked around the corner, to see Annabeth soaking her hat in a tub full of water.

Percy was confused, just about to make his way out of hiding and confront her about it, before stopping as he voice rose.

"I told you not to tell Percy, but you just had to blab, didn't you?" she said, and Percy was pretty sure she was talking to the hat.

She dunked the hat in the water. "Let's see how you like losing your colour! See how you like being an old white hat when the other one hats make fun of you."

She wrung the hat out and when she was satisfied, she threw the still soaking hat on her head.

Percy couldn't take anymore, emerging from his hiding place.

"Annabeth?"

She jerked around, reaching for her hat and throwing it away, as if to dispose of evidence.

"Hey there, Percy!" She said, too brightly.

"What'cha you doing?" Percy asked.

"Nothing," she replied quickly. "Not much at all. So, nothing really."

"Why is your hair wet?" Percy asked, trying to trip her up.

She brushed it out of her face. "It's wet?" She made a show of running her hands through her hair. "Oh! Would you look at that?!"

"Yeah," Percy nodded. "How do you think that happened?"

"Must have rained," she said casually, getting to her feet.

"Yeah, that must have been it. Or… you know, might have had something to do with your hat and that bucket. Maybe you dropped it in there or something?"

Annabeth looked down, angry at herself. "Yeah, that makes sense." She looked up at him, brushing her hair behind her ear. "What did you want?"

Percy shook his head quickly. "Nothing. No, I don't want you." He paused. "Not that I don't want you, but I- I just heard some sounds and I came to find out what they were… and you were there, so, that's it, really."

Annabeth nodded. "Yeah, I'm here quite a lot, actually."

"Yeah," Percy agreed stupidly.

"I lied, Percy. I didn't-"

She was interrupted as Nico came racing around the corner, shock on his face.

"Wow, Nico, I've never seen you move so quickly," Percy commented.

The Italian gestured for Annabeth to go. She looked a little uncomfortable with being dismissed by a small boy, but she walked away, looking over her shoulder uncomfortably.

"My sister, Bianca," Nico started. "Where is she?"

"More surprises!" Percy ignored Nico's question. "You spoke perfect English."

"Where is she?" He demanded.

Percy shrugged. "She's dead."

"WHAT?!"

"I already told you this, if you recall."

Nico clutched the side of his head. "No, she can't be!" He glared at Percy. "You said you'd protect her!"

"And you're speaking fluent English. Sometimes things turn out a little differently from how I thought they would."

Nico made to reply, but stopped, staring behind Percy.

"What's the matter, champ?" Percy asked.

"What are those?"

The son of Poseidon turned to face the remaining boyscouts skeletons.

"Oh, by the Gods! A convenient way to both get rid of a loose plot point and to demonstrate your powers as a son of Hades! Which I really shouldn't have known at this point." Percy turned back to Nico. "They can only be killed by doing something really cool though."

The boyscouts charged as Nico screamed. Percy ducked under one sword, leapt over a swipe aimed at his ankles, spun around a thrust and dove over the swing to his stomach, flying out of the knot of skeletons and rolling to his feet, scooping up a rock as he came to his knees and throwing it at the gun pointed at him, hitting the weapon and causing it to discharge, scoring a perfect headshot as it whipped up.

One boyscout down through an insanely cool manoeuvre.

"Be careful, Nico!" Percy cried.

"You're trying to kill me!" Nico screamed.

"No, you stupid shit, I'm trying to protect you!"

The grass around Nico started to die as the demigod breathed heavily. He raised his hands in terror as they started to pulse with energy, dark smoke circling his flesh, black fire building in his hands.

"Nico?" Percy asked, becoming scared.

"I can't…" Nico strained.

"Control it," Percy told him nervously. He approached slowly as Annabeth came back around the corner. She took in the situation immediately and gestured for Percy to move away. Even the boyscouts looked scared.

You let my sister die…" Nico moaned, his eyes rapidly turning black.

"Nico, let me help you-"

"THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!" Nico screamed, as the power started to envelop him.

"Control it!"

Nico started sweating. "I can't. I have to let it go."

"Contain it! Bring it back into yourself!"

"No," Nico breathed, the energy starting to build up, moving outwards.

"Nico!" Percy cried, running towards him.

Nico let the energy out with a scream, exploding like a bomb. The wave destroyed the skeletons, and enveloped Percy, blowing him away. The entire landscape was rendered dead, the houses rocking on their foundations as Nico Di Angelo was ripped into the ground.

Percy opened his eyes to a dead world. He felt weak and feverish, unsure where he was. He looked around at darkness, his arms pale lights in front of his eyes.

He tried to cry out for someone, but his voice was just a croak. He couldn't move as his mind began deteriorating. He could only think of Annabeth taking his hand as he tried to fight off the darkness.

Please review and tell me what you thought! This is the Season 3 finale (about time) and we are moving onto Season 4 next time, where we'll have the Labyrinth, Tyson, Logan Lermon as a series regular, and most importantly, Percabeth!
