After sleep deprivation and spending time with younger cousins, I have found time and inspiration to write once more. So here I am, back slaving at this site to please one of my friends. With moirailship!
"Uh, Nepeta? What's the matter?" Tavros asked. He looked at the small troll, crying with her back against the wall.
She looked up. Noticing Tavros, she wiped the olive tears away. "Hi Tavros. What's up?"
"Are you, um, okay?" Tavros asked. "Why were you crying?"
Nepeta put her head in her hands. "So you saw that?" she asked. Tavros nodded.
"But if you, uh, don't want me to tell you, then, uh, that's okay," Tavros muttered.
"No, maybe I need to talk about it," she said. She patted the ground, beckoning Tavros to sit next to her. He clumsily sat down, and there was a metallic clang as his new legs hit the ground.
"So, uh, what happened?"
Nepeta sighed. "Well, Karkitty and Terezi are back together in the flushed quadrant."
"Oh. So you don't want to update your shipping wall?"
"Keep this secret," Nepeta said. Tavros nodded. "I feel flushed for Karkitty."
"Oh. Uh, that explains the picture behind all those boxes," Tavros said.
"You saw what?!" Nepeta squealed.
Tavros shrugged, not sure if she was surprised our just astounded. "Uh, yeah. I fell, and, uh, bumped into the, uh, stack of boxes. It got knocked over." Nepeta looked at him shocked. "Don't worry, I, uh, put the boxes back." Nepeta sighed.
"Thank goodness."
The realization hit Tavros as they sat in silence. "Oh! You're, um, jealous of Terezi!"
Nepeta giggled. "No, Terezi was my closest role-play furend. But I really was flushed fur Karkitty."
"Well, uh, I can relate. You, um, know about the whole, um, Vriska thing? That was weird."
"Yeah," Nepeta said.
They were silent once more. Then Tavros thought of something. "Why didn't, um, Equius comfort you? He is your moirail, um, right?" he asked.
"Well, a troll can only spend so much time in the broken robot pile," Nepeta muttered.
Tavros gently put his hand on her back. "Uh, I'll listen to you in the broken robot pile. Well, I'm not an, uh, broken robot yet. But, uh," Tavros trailed off, cut off by the flurry of confused words that made an attempt of being an offer for the cat loving troll. Thankfully she understood.
"Sure Tavros!" she exclaimed.
Hey. Maybe they could be good moirails.
Weird, yes. But my friend wanted me to write this, so I did. Why not, I like rare pairs! Sorry for the slight delay, I was with family an adorable younger cousins that drained my energy while I ate pounds of sugar. Before the hectic rush of school, In hope I can write a few more chapters. I hope you enjoyed and leave all comments or requests in the review section.
Alright, I'm out.
