No One P.O.V
There was no doubt in anyone mind that Fairy Tail B would be winning the Games this year and that this would restart the reign of Fairy Tail in Fiore. They had given an impressive display of strength with the other Team very well too. It would seem that they would take the place of winner and runner-up in this years Games. Though there was also no doubt that they would take the place of winner after this year as well, and many more to come. Lisanna had decided she did not want to participate on the last day and so she went out and Happy was brought in as her replacement. This was, quite frankly, amusing to the crowd and to the other Guilds. Sabertooth of course said nothing, as they had already had their interaction with the Exceed on battle-mode.
The Teams all stood at the ready by their gates, ready to be unleashed into the city of Crocus.
Fairy Tail A were buzzing by their gate, Natsu jumping up and down and being thrown onto his side when a stripping partner decided to punch him in the arm and a red headed Mage would have hair flying about her head as she screamed at them to stop. Gajeel stood behind them laughing but shut up alongside them when Erza decided to glare at him as well for laughing what she called 'an immature snicker' this caused Wendy to hid behind him and hold onto the back of his shirt while she tried not to attract attention to herself. It was fairly obvious who their Team Leader was. A Miss Titania Erza.
With Quatro Cerberus Bacchus was leaning against the wall with a barrel pressed to his lips. It was obvious that he had no real care for the Games. Never really did, and that he had never really planned on participating apart from the face that Warcry was still damaged because of what Flare did to him. And it was obvious by this point that their Team would most definitely be in last place. So it had been decided by Goldmine that they would just let the others hash it out to see who would be in second last place.
Blue Pegasus and Raven Tail were quiet, not really having much to talk about. However with Blue Pegasus Hibiki was whispering little things to the rest of his Team to see if they still remembered the plan and calculations. But it would be obvious Jenny and Ichiya would forget them after a couple of minutes. So he would have to rely on Ren and Eve. Raven Tail was just as quiet, all of them were glaring at each other and blaming the others for their failure. Mermaid Heel were also in a state of silence and Beth was muttering quiet prayers to herself in preparation for going out; she knew she was not as strong as the others
Sabertooth was mainly angry, their backs were to the door and they were staring up at the Fairy Tail balcony where they could see Yukino. She was looking back at them in a manner that made her seem small. She had an arm thrown around her and it was attached to the drunk of Fairy Tail. Minerva turned back around watching the door. What had peeked her interest was when that Spirit showed up it had caused Rufus to tense up and he had refused even Jiemma when asked about what had caused him to freeze.
Lyon had his head in his hands at the thought of losing to his younger brother/disciple. Chelia was standing at his hip hugging his arm trying to get him to cheer up about the fact he would not be winning this time. Yuka was trying to calm Toby down because he had decided he wanted to kill the 'snake bastard' from Raven Tail. Jura stood behind them shaking his head; his battle the day before had not really caused him a lot of damage but for some reason it had caused his Magic to take its time returning to him.
In the gateway for Fairy Tail B, there was a laughter going on. Laxus was standing at the back blocking the view from outside in. Lucy was leaning against his side, apparently there had been a big gathering at their hotel the night before that had her up all night cleaning. Juvia was running over what the First had said to both Teams. The others had not listened, well maybe Gajeel had but not the others and so she took it upon herself to know it all. And to transfer all her knowledge to her own Team once she knew it all by heart. Geni stood with her camán across the small of her back and Happy on her shoulder. She was laughing and whispering in his ear.
When the counter came down it came down fast all Teams but Fairy Tail A rushed out of their gate and they stood with eyes open. Soon after many people were battling and the commentators began to notice something. "The only ones of Fairy Tail B we see are Laxus and Lucy. The other three have disappeared completely from our grid!" This caused a panic from the audience who were looking frantically at all the screens in an attempt to find the missing three members. "Neither can we find Sting!" There was a silence over the stadium then some coughing. "Let's continue to watch the battles. All of Quatro Cerberus are out, as are Raven Tail and Mermaid Heel."
The battle screen was brought to Orga, Jura and Laxus facing off against each other. There was a second when nothing happened and then Juvia appeared and skipped through the battle, and when Orga tried to attack her she threw a Water Lock at him cutting off his breath and trapped in his own lightning until he passed out. "Well that was rude, Juvia was just looking for Geni." There was a mewl up above on the roof of a building where a large sleek black cat lay on its stomach in the sun, familiar cuffs laced around her paws. "There you are!" Juvia pointed up at the cat and a single paw was brought up to try and cover her head. "No, no. Get down here!" The cat visibly sighed then stretched trying to enjoy the last of the sun rays then jumped from the roof and shifted in mid-air to become the common Geni. "Good, now we can go find Happy." This was muttered by Juvia when she threw herself into her cousins arms, because it would seem that she tired herself out looking for her.
"You can shapeshift?" There surprise evident in Juras' voice as he watched Geni walk past him with her cousin in her arms.
"What?" She snorted at him and continued walking, "Like it's hard?" She continued to walk until she reached the entrance to an alleyway, at which point both girls dissipated in a cyclone of leaves into the sky.
Laxus looked after then in confusion while Jura was panicking in a mild manner on the outside, but it was obvious he was unsettled. "They don't know where Happy is?" He ran a hand through his hair and tilted his head back trying to figure out by sight and smell where Lucy was. "Good, she's fine." Slowly he lowered his head and looked at the slightly calmer Wizard Saint. "Now, I believe we were fighting."
When they landed Geni and Juvia ran across Hibiki and Jenny standing back to back in a plaza trying to cover all bases. Turning to look at the cousins they froze and the two pairs stared at each other and Hibiki brought his Archive up in front of him to start doing calculations. Geni raised her hand as well, a trail of brown Magic following her hand up (Juvia clinging to her neck so she was not dropped). Thick dry vines rose from the tiles of the plaza and swirled around the Blue Pegasus Mages before trapping them, leaving their necks and heads exposed. Swiping her hand horizontally a syringe appeared in her hand and pulling back the plunger causing the barrel to fill with a blue toxin. "Sorry guys." Walking up to them she slowly slid the needles into their necks, and put half the toxin into each of them. Ren was the next to turn up, alongside Eve both were saying incoherent things which roughly translated as things about beautiful older sisters and that it was not like they liked them or anything. "Inverser." The remaining two started to stumble a little and look a little nauseous; bumping into each other and turning their heads furiously trying to look at something before they fell over on top of their already passed out Guild Mates.
"Geni." Juvia was still clinging to her cousin, her legs thrown over one of Geni's arms and her own arms around the other blunettes neck. "We need to find Happy." Blue and static silver hair rose slipped out from behind a building and black eyes blinked. "Who's that?"
"That's Happy." Juvia looked at the boy who had stepped out with black trousers and a white button up, and shiny black shoes. "Seriously." Happy walked over slowly and slid his glasses back onto his face. "Geni does not lie." Seconds later Lyon and Chelia walked out from another alleyway and tensed their semi-beaten bodies. "Gate of the Fire Queen!" Geni lifted a Sapphire Key from her shorts and pointed it at them. "Venus!" The red head appeared and glared at her fellow Spirit; and knowing she was undercover a smirk grew on her face. "Now now. You wanted Geni to call you, and here you are. One of them is an Ice Make Mage and the other a Wind God Slayer. Knock them out, no killing."
Venus turned to look at the paling Lamia Scale Mages. "Oh good." Her knuckles cracked as she pushed her hands above her head and bent her hips back to stretch. "Oh how long have I been waiting for this." Her red skirt flowed down in flames and a swam of air threw itself up into the sky. Left in the eye of the storm were the cousins, the usually-inactive Spirit and the two Lamia Scale Mages who seemed to be more than a little terrified. "Let's see how far humans have evolved."
"You're a Spirit Mage?" Lyon screamed over the wind as he blocked punched from Venus who appeared to have made it her mission to burn even the tiles. The hurricane serving only to help her in her mission to hurt him. And knock him out. "And you're insane!" Chelia was screaming and crying already trying to eat the whole of the hurricane. But it was impossible seeing it was made of fire.
"No." Geni frowned, a look of confusion clear on her face and mild anger. "Geni told Jura - she is not a Holder Mage." Her foot slammed down and she pouted and pet her own head. "Venus, Geni's hair is getting messy!" The brown eyes that turned to look at her were hateful to the point of sin. "Kill the wind, or Geni will." One last scowl later and there was no hurricane left in the sky. Lyon was trying his best not to melt, nor to strip himself of his clothing and Chelia was passed out from too much oxygen inhalation. "Geni thinks you succeeded."
"Humans are so... Disappointing." There was a little silence as Venus narrowed her eyes and turned to look about her at the buildings. "They used to be so much stronger, didn't they?" There was an agreeing rumble from her fellow Spirit, whom was millennia younger than her but still understood. "I look forward to much more... Challenging opponents." She chuckled a little, "But I think that if a God Slayer in this era can be knocked out by eating her own element," She shook her head. "I'd rather piss off Aquarius by kissing Scorpio." A truly unpleasant image of course. One that would never come true.
