I do not any of the characters or the ideas created by Tite Kubo, however my OC and original storyline belong to me.

This is my first Bleach fic, so PLEASE REVIEW!

Thank you Windblade67 for your review. I may take your suggestions into consideration some time later in the story, but then his conflicted view on Delilah's relationship with Jūshirō may prove to be an interesting thing to explore throughout the entire story. Though I'm not thinking of making Tōshirō to be the hated one, more like the conflicted one instead. We shall see...

It was within a few minutes that both the captain of squad ten and Delilah had made their way through the centre of Ugendo and arrived just outside the dining room. Instead of opening the doors herself, Delilah waited for Tōshirō to do it, as she could sense a certain amount disapproval seeping off from his spiritual pressure. And the only reason for him to hold so much destain towards her was perhaps because he had been one of those few captains who believed that she should have accepted Jūshirō as her father whole heartedly. She had considered talking to him sincerely but then doing that with her biological father so close wasn't really the best of ideas.

From the moment the two of them crossed over into the dinning room, she was meet two pair of eyes she had only seen from a distance but had not yet had the courage to go up and talk to them personally. In some ways, Delilah was still a little dazed that Jūshirō had suddenly sprung this party onto her and she really, really hoped that she had been on what he considered to be her 'best behaviour', since she was desperate for him to finally leave and permit her more freedom to come and go from Ugendo.

With a few seconds Delilah suddenly realised that the one soul reaper who she hadn't seen in so very long was sitting around the very table where she would consume her meals and eating one of the prepared foods which had evidently been brought to him by the servants. His long black hair had been meticulously pinned back by the turquoise head piece and she recognised his turquoise scarf which was wrapped around his neck.

"Byakuya…" she muttered in an incredibly soft tone, hoping that Tōshirō would not recognise the tenderness within her tone.

But then she swiftly relinquished any fears she many have had in the young captain seeing how much she favoured this black haired captain, and quickly enough she had occupied the conveniently empty seat beside him. Leaving Tōshirō Hitsugaya, the youngest captain of the thirteen court guard squads, speechless.

Not many captains were aware of how close she and the head of the Kuchiki clan had become and perhaps Tōshirō Hitsugaya was the one who was most stunned. He had been the one who had been so incredibly adamant to make sure that she ended up with Jūshirō, seeing her so casually smiling at the other captains made him wonder where exactly his loyalties lay.

"Delilah…"

Delilah immediately saw the warmth in Byakuya's eyes and nodded:

"I would like to introduce you to Kaname Tōsen, the captain of squad nine"

She immediately turned her attention towards the brown skinned captain and over his face he seemed to wear plastic google like glasses. His black braided hair came down a little past his shoulders, his orange coloured scarf was tied firmly at the back. And he wore the long sleeved captain's haori with it's back no doubt containing the insignia belonging to the ninth division.

Delilah then arose to her feet and the captain in question also stood up, and within a few seconds the two of them were shaking hands and smiling weakly. In some ways, Delilah was sure that this captain didn't have any strict notions to her being loyal or betray Jūshirō and she truly hoped that she would be able to win over as many of the captains as possible. Since her daddy was the one who had insisted that by gaining the support of these captains when the time came for her to leave the Ukitake's control and reassume her relationship with the two soul reaper captains who had been by her side from very, very early on.

But before Delilah could sit back down in her seat, Byakuya had spoken again:

"And the captain on his left is Kenpachi Zaraki of the eleventh division"

When she turned her attention towards this captain, she almost fell back into the chair at his intermediating complexion, until he suddenly reached forward to grabbed onto her hand. She saw his massive grin but it was his large spiky black hair which proved to be rather fascinating.

"It's a pleasure to meet you Delilah"

She kept seeing his grin and after noticing the true understanding which she began to see from the depths of his eyes, she slowly eased to his presence and managed to respond:

"Likewise"

When Captain Zaraki finally released her hand, she realised that his massive grin and his wide eyes were actually being playful and this was made her relax somewhat. She knew from her lessons with her daddy that the eleventh squad was where all the combat fights were. And perhaps he would be a good ally to have in her future.

"You know Hitsugaya…you were completely wrong in your assumptions in our last captain's meeting"

Delilah's eyes soon feel onto the plate of food which had been placed in front of her and without much hesitation she picked her knife and fork and started eating. But her ears remained alert and she listened, wondering what this captain meant.

"What do you mean, Zaraki?"

The young captain seemed extremely agitated.

"You really shouldn't side with Jūshirō and Shunsui in regards to how Delilah should be raised"

She suddenly found her mouthful being stuck in her throat and as she was eager to know what the captains' really thought about her as Jūshirō's daughter and if they would react to eventually learning about the secret relationship which she had with Sōsuke Aizen and Gin Ichimaru.

"And you should know better then to interfere with the law of the nobles"

Delilah swallowed and continued to eat, whilst finding it difficult to not to grin when she heard Captain Zaraki's answer:

"Locking her up is abusive, she should be allowed to roam free"

Delilah's heart had began to pound as she realised that her presence was starting to cause convict between the captains and hopefully she would be able to use it to her advantage, some day soon.

So Delilah has finally seen Byakuya and he has introduced her to both Tōsen and Zaraki. Neither one of captains seemed to show any sort of disapproval of her rejecting Jūshirō and that little bit of conflict at the end could perhaps suggest that Tōshirō may also considering joining those captains who believe that Delilah should be granted more freedom.
