I honestly thought that this chapter would be a lot longer than it actually is… Also might take a bit more time to post chapters. I made a mistake in one of the future chapters and now I have to fix it…

Disclaimer: I don't own FFVII nor its characters. I also don't own the ideas taken from Love Monster.

Angeal grinned as he watched Cloud admire his motorbike. They had ridden it all the way to Kalm and the white crow seemed to be having the time of his life.

"I've never seen you so excited about something that wasn't materia before." Angeal pointed out after a while of watching the crow. Cloud paused in his admiration, looking a bit sheepish. The crow had been a bit nervous when he had picked him up from Zack's apartment that morning, but it seemed that the bike ride had taken away all of the nervousness.

"It was fun." The crow admitted, shuffling his feet a little in a way that Angeal thought was almost adorable.

"When you end up in SOLDIER you'll get to have a bike of your own. Might have to get one custom made for you to accommodate all of your swords though."

Cloud looked surprised. "When?" Angeal grinned at Cloud's bewildered look.

"Sephiroth's already working with Gen to figure out your training regimen to get you into SOLDIER with the minimum requirements by the end of this year. Even if you fail the mako test, you should still be able to get into SOLDEIR. It might be a little rough on you during the test, but it will at least get you into the protected species category."

Cloud made a face at those words and Angeal let out a small laugh.

"I was just kidding. Your test might be a little rigged and more focused on magic, but as long as you put on a pretty show for the higher ups, then they won't know the difference. We might need to remove the dampener that Genesis put on you for the test though. It won't look good if your wings came out or if you fainted from magical exhaustion again." Angeal said thoughtfully.

"Why would you do that for me?" Cloud questioned, trying to hide the suspicious tone in his voice, though he knew that Angeal would catch it either way. Angeal just shrugged.

"We all turned a blind eye to the fact that Zack didn't pass basic theory and apparently Gen wants at least one competent magic user on his side. From the way I see it, it's a win, win situation on both of our sides; and besides, the fact that you'll be in SOLDIER means that we can keep a better eye on you."

Cloud's face fell a little at those words. "I didn't want to get into SOLDIER to be taken care of. I wanted to get in so that I could do all of that on my own."

Angeal's face softened at those words. "You'll learn really quickly that relationships are all about caring for one another, that is, if this whole arrangement works out. Also, you may not be able to defend yourself now, but that doesn't meant that you're going to be like that forever. We're still going to help you even if you get strong enough to fend off a hundred Behemoths."

Cloud let off a small chuckle at that. "In what situation would I ever find myself having to fight off a hundred Behemoths?"

Angeal smiled somewhat secretively. "You'd be surprised. There was a mission that I went on with Sephiroth and Gen when we were younger. One of the few that Shinra sent all three of us together. We ended up having to go through a forest and somehow landed ourselves in the middle of a Behemoth breeding ground."

Cloud's eyes went wide at that. "How did it happen?"

Angeal looked a little sheepish. "Sephiroth was sick at the time, so his internal compass was off. Gen didn't want to go flying or even let me do the flying in case any humans were to see us, and I'm not as directionally adept as I thought I was at the time."

"But, then… All the Behemoths…" Cloud questioned in slight awe.

"Just because he's sick, didn't mean that Sephiroth couldn't fight. Not only that, but the three of us used to make a pretty good team, despite the fact that Gen used to hate Sephiroth and Sephiroth used to egg Gen on all the time just to get a rise out of him because it was apparently amusing."

"I can imagine that." Cloud said, smiling at the thought. "What made them change?" Angeal shrugged.

"Sexual tension. It got to the point where even the other lower class SOLDIER's could sense it and I eventually had to tell them both to just screw each other already."

Cloud looked horrified that Angeal would even think to tell the other two hard headed generals such a thing and Angeal let off another small laugh at the look on his face.

"Don't let anyone tell you that hate sex isn't a thing. Gen and Sephiroth used to do it so much that even they don't even know when they started actually caring for each other."

"And you were ok with that?" Cloud questioned.

"Well, considering I was the one that told them in the first place, of course I was. After a few months in they both figured out that two wasn't enough, so they roped me into the relationship. Years after that I found Zack and started training him. We all got a little attached and then the rest is history from there. Somewhere in between Zack became friends with the Vice President and somehow got him together with Tseng, but I'm not entirely sure when that happened."

Cloud looked surprised at that. "Zack hooked up the Vice President and the leader of the Turks?"

"You'd be surprised, Zack is actually a lot more observant than you'd think when it comes to people and relationships. When it comes to other things though…"

"He can be as oblivious as a baby chocobo?"

Angeal grinned. "Exactly.
