Chapter 52: The Impossible Girl

They ran through underground catacombs from the Whisper Men, taking the back entrance to the Doctor's tomb. They finally made it within the basement of the tomb above them, just missing being captured by the Whisper Men. The Doctor walked forward, knowing they needed to hurry if they were going to save his and Wanda's friends. Clara and Wanda started forward, but the Time Lady quickly reacted and caught the girl as she stumbled back.

"Doctor!" Wanda called out, making him turn around to see a dazed looking Clara. He hurriedly went over to them.

"Clara, hey, it's okay. You're fine," he said quickly. He helped Wanda hold the girl and steer her through the corridor. "The dimensioning forces this deep in the TARDIS, they can make you a bit giddy."

"I know, I know," Clara mumbled. She suddenly pulled away from the two Time Lords, staring at them in shock. "How do I know? How do I know that?"

"Clara, it's okay," the Doctor said evenly, trying to calm the frightened looking girl. "You're fine."

"Have we . . . have we done this before?" Clara questioned him with uncertainty. She stumbled back from them. "We have. We have done this before, climbing through a wrecked TARDIS. You said things. Things I'm not supposed to remember."

The Doctor tensed greatly as he saw the girl slowly remembering the trio's journey to the TARDIS centre. The day both Time Lords had let it slip of who Clara really was. He shook his head and stated, "We can't do this now. The TARDIS is a ruin. The telepathic circuits are awakening memories you shouldn't even have." The girl did not answer or say anything. Simply remained staring off blankly at them as the forgotten memories flashed through her mind. He stepped towards her hesitantly. "Clara? Clara? Clara, what's wrong?"

Clara pushed away from them as both Time Lords tried to comfort her. She turned away, shaking as she stumbled over and gripped at a nearby grate. "What do you mean you keep meeting me? You said I died. How could I die?"

The Doctor towards her again, more urgent in wishing for Clara to remember that at all. "That is not a conversation you should even remember—."

"What do you mean I died?!" Clara turned to them both in anger, seeing how the Doctor seemed uncertain what to say or do. While Wanda stared at the girl evenly.

"Because . . . you died," Wanda responded. The Doctor looked at the Time Lady in alarm.

"Wanda, don't," he warned.

"She needs to know. We can't keep hiding this from her," Wanda replied. Gazing steadily at the frightened girl, Wanda walked up and placed a soothing hand on the companion's shoulder. "Clara, you've died a million times throughout history. A million deaths, but a million rebirths as well. This is why you're the impossible girl. You're something that has never happened before. Something special." Clara looked beyond alarmed by this statement, backing away from the Time Lady as she only felt a sense of panic.

"How—how can I die and be born again? That's . . . impossible," Clara breathed shakily. Wanda gave the girl a warm smile.

"Exactly," she whispered, sending the girl a wink.

Just then, echoes of the whispering voices of the Whisper Men started down a tunnel across from them. The Doctor grabbed Wanda's hand and the Time Lady gripped Clara's as they all ran away from the voices. They swiftly made it up the different metal staircases and ran across grated flooring until they made it outside next to the front of the tomb. The first thing they spotted was the Paternoster Gang held hostage by the Whisper Men. The Great Intelligence, having the appearance of Walter Simeon, stood in front of the group by the doors of the Doctor's tomb.

"The doors require a key," they heard Simeon say to the group behind him. "The key is a word. The word is the Doctor's." The Doctor stormed over to where the Great Intelligence stood. Furious that this entity would dare try to hurt his friends.

"Here I am. Late to my own funeral. Glad you could make it," the Doctor grounded out, standing in front of Simeon, placing himself between the man and his friends as a protective barrier of sorts. Wanda and Clara hurriedly walked over to where the rest of the group stood. Wanda beamed at the Paternoster Gang, delighted to be meeting them at last. Though, she did wish it were under better circumstances. She had always been looking forward to the day in seeing the lovely bunch of detectives. Vastra and Jenny sent her a smile as well, apparently already knowing who she was.

"Open the door, Doctor," commanded Simeon to the Time Lord before him. "Speak and open your tomb."

"No," the Doctor said in a hard tone, glaring darkly at the Great Intelligence.

"Because you know what's in there?" retorted Simeon snidely, eyeing the Doctor with a cold gaze.

"I will not open those doors," the Doctor growled, tightening his hands into fists.

Simeon kept his cold gaze, unmoved by the Time Lord's dark glare nor the Oncoming Storm arriving. "The key is a word lost to time, a secret hidden in the deepest shadow and known to you alone. The answer to the question."

The Doctor stormed up to the being, standing right up to the man's face. "I will not open my tomb."

"Doctor, what is your name?" Simeon stared aggressively down at the Doctor, having the upper advanced of being taller. He reached out suddenly, grabbing the Doctor's face with one hand and harshly squeezing it, sneering down at the Time Lord as he did so.

"Back off!" Wanda shouted, storming over to Simeon and shoving him away. She glared in rage at him as she jabbed a finger in his direction. "You lay one finger on him and I'll make sure you regret your very existence, Yog-Sothoth!" Simeon stepped back and straightened himself, glaring coldly at the Time Lady.

"Such words coming from someone so weak," he retorted coolly. He sneered at her. "Another companion of yours, Doctor?" The Doctor placed a hand on Wanda's shoulder, making her step back towards their friends. It shocked him greatly that Second Wanda would be acting in such a way. Yes, she was brash, but she never really lost her temper much. Only Third Wanda held such a temper. Usually, Second Wanda kept her cool. Unless it involved children of course. That was a whole other story.

"Yes," the Doctor answered tensely to the Great Intelligence's question.

"And yet she knows that name of mine. How?" Simeon questioned darkly, staring Wanda up and down as if she were a meal. Wanda gritted her teeth, wishing to snap at him again as he gave the same look at the Doctor.

"She's just an assistant of mine. She had nothing to do with this," the Doctor replied hurriedly, pushing Wanda back more forcefully. Wanda stumbled over to Clara, gripping the girl's hand tightly, watching how the Doctor sent her a stern gaze before turning back to Simeon.

"Doctor, your name," Simeon stated darkly.

"Never," growled the Doctor. Simeon stared at the Time Lord for a moment before walking around him.

"The Doctor's friends. Stop their hearts," he ordered his Whisper Men. The creature servants all snarled and hissed at once, opening their mouths wide to show their razor sharp teeth. The group turned to face the creatures, backing away from them. Wanda placed herself in front of Clara, making sure she would be protected.

"Madame, Wanderer, boys, combat formation," Strax said quickly, readying himself for battle. "They are unarmed."

"So are we!" exclaimed Jenny as the group back up from the advancing Whisper Men.

"Do not divulge our military secrets," Strax responded in annoyance, clearly disgruntled not to have the upper hand over the enemies.

Wanda heard the Doctor starting to speak rapidly to the Great Intelligence, trying to persuade the entity to let them all go. And to explain how the tomb must never be opened. Simeon merely sent retorts back, clearly not having a word of it. It was either open the tomb, or let everyone die. Wanda glanced back at them, then over to a distance away from the whole scene. River stood by the edge of the cliff, watching the situation unfold with great uneasy and worriment. The woman's eyes travelled to Wanda's, seeing how the Time Lady gave her a slow nod. Then, Wanda's eyes shot over to the doors of the tomb and back to River with another slow nod given to her. River indicated with her own head that she understood and swiftly walked over to the tomb.

"Doctor who?" Simeon kept repeating the question to the frantic Doctor as the Whisper Men started to hurt his friends. One servant already jabbing its hand into Strax's chest and gripping his heart. Another grew ever so closer to Wanda as she backed Clara up. Both of them pinned against a beam behind them. Wanda remained in place in front of Clara, keeping the girl safe and staring down the Whisper Man as it reached its hand to her chest.

"Please!" the Doctor yelled, seeing how close his Wanderer was to dying. This could not be the day. She promised it was not the day. She still had Third Wanda to come. How could it possibly be the day of her end?!

He was about to shout out the answer to Simeon's question, revealing his greatest secret, when the doors behind the Doctor suddenly opened. The tomb let out a white light as they grated open like heavy stone. The Doctor slowly turned around, his eyes widening at the sight. The Whisper Men let everyone go. The one that had almost grabbed one of Wanda's hearts backed up.

"The TARDIS can still hear me," River noted lightly while coming up beside Wanda. "Lucky thing. Since him indoors is being so useless." The woman sent the Doctor a cheeky smirk and rolled her eyes. Wanda snorted quietly and shook her head which only made River chuckle.

"Why did you open the door, sir?" Strax asked the Doctor, still remaining on the ground panting from almost having his heart ripped out. "I had them on the run."

"Of course you did, Strax," Wanda said sarcastically, going over to help him and the others stand back up on their feet.

"I didn't do it. I didn't say my name," the Doctor answered him, staring at the now open tomb in question. In the corner of his eye, he saw a certain someone move, but chose to ignore them as he had been doing so for quite some time now. He turned quickly to the group, making sure they were all okay. Wanda backed up, going over to Clara. The Time Lady pulled the girl close into a hug, knowing her impossible time had come.

"Clara, you have a choice to make now," Wanda whispered ever so quietly and gently into the girl's ear.

"What choice?" Clara whispered back, hugging the Time Lady as well and staring at the Whisper Men. Still in shock over what had almost happened.

"Whether or not to become the impossible girl," Wanda breathed, giving the girl a light squeeze in their hug. "Just follow what your heart tells you, and you'll be fine. I promise. And remember, 'The soufflé isn't the soufflé, the soufflé is the recipe.'" She let go, stepping back away from Clara, but keeping a hold on one of her hands, making certain to keep the girl safe. It worried Wanda greatly of what the girl must do. But she knew it must be Clara and no one else. The companion had her own set path to follow.

"Now, then," the Doctor growled, turning to Simeon once he was certain everyone was all right. "Dr. Simeon or Mr. G. Intelligence, whatever I call you, do you know what's in there?"

"For me, peace at last," replied Simeon coolly. His eyes flashed darkly while staring at the Doctor. "For you, pain everlasting." He turned lightly to the door, giving a small knowing smile. "Won't you invite us in?"

The Doctor hesitated for a long moment, staring around at his friends and Wanda. The Time Lady nodded slowly, letting him know there was nothing to be done now. They must walk into the open tomb. He let out a long breath, gradually stepping towards the doors with everyone following behind with great fear. The Doctor grunted as he pushed the doors open the rest of the way, letting them see within the tomb.

The TARDIS had become a wreck over the long years left alone to die. Ivy had grown throughout the control room. Dead twigs and leaves lay scattered across the floor. The entire place was cold, no longer holding the gentle blanket of warmth as it once had. The Cloister Bell tolled out softly as they stepped up to the upper floor of the room. Where the console should have been now was only a bright tangle of energy. It glowed a white light of tendrils, swirling and writhing in a column. Whispers and wisps could be heard from it as it continued to swirl about. Simeon stepped around to the other side, away from the Doctor's group, going close to it while everyone else remained a safe distance back.

"What's that?" asked Clara, her curiosity peaked from the sight before them.

"What were you expecting, a body?" the Doctor answered quietly. "Bodies are boring. I've had loads of them. That's not what my tomb is for."

"But what is the light?" questioned Vastra as they all stood side-by-side staring into the white tendrils.

"It's beautiful," commented Jenny.

"Shall I destroy it?" suggested Strax. Wanda giggled quietly. Strax always did make her laugh.

"No, it's not something you can destroy, Strax," Wanda told him. He pouted somewhat, looking greatly disappointed in not being able to demolish what he did not understand.

"What is that?" Clara asked again, pushing for answers.

"The tracks of my tears," the Doctor told them all softly. Simeon scoffed at the Doctor's remark.

"Less poetry, Doctor. Just tell them," Simeon stated coolly. He and his Whisper Men stood next to the white tendrils across from them on the other side of the room, staring intently into the light. The Doctor frowned, finding the being to be of great annoyance.

"Time travel is damage. It's like a tear in the fabric of reality," the Doctor explained to everyone. He pointed at the white tendrils. "That is the scar tissue of my journey through the universe, my path through time and space, from Gallifrey to Trenzalore." He slowly pulled out his sonic screwdriver, aiming it at the tendrils.

The First Doctor's voice echoed out first, speaking about the Fourth Dimension. Then the Second Doctor's, the Third, the Fourth, and so on. All of their voices ringing out throughout the room. Everyone gazed around in wonder as if trying to see the source of the speaking. Wanda stiffened as she heard Nine and Ten speaking through. Their voices breaking out and making her hearts clench and weep in knowing this was them . . . dead. They were dead. The Doctor was dead, right in front of her. Yet . . . he was also still alive right beside her.

She felt almost torn in half of the two conflictions. It had been a feeling that slowly built up within her the closer they came to the tomb. Now it was starting to hit her with a force. Her possibilities started to short circuit within her head, lacing her mind with agonizing pain and her body feeling woozy. The ability of her insight did not know what to think of what was happening before her. It had trouble focusing on which Doctor it needed to keep stable. Either the dead Doctor as the white timeline scar in front of them, or the live one standing next to her. Either to die along with the already long gone Doctor, or remain standing with the one next to her. A paradox, and a very bad one at that.

She knew this was not a moment in time that was officially meant to be. There was still the Doctor's true life meant for him after Trenzalore. But since he did not technically have the new regeneration life cycle given to him yet, then this moment before them was still put into place. At least, until the Time Lords gave the Doctor his new cycle. Once that occurred, then this moment of time would be erased. Only an alternate ending to the Doctor. Not the official one.

Get ready. This isn't going to be pleasant.

Wanda blinked as she heard the words of Bad Wolf echo within her mind. The Doctor suddenly collapsed in pain onto the dirt covered floor. Clara and Wanda rushed over to him, falling onto their knees beside him.

"Doctor!" Wanda exclaimed in a panic, not remembering this happen in the show. Though, maybe she had but the confliction within her muddled mind was making it hard to recall. Then she felt stupid as the Doctor had said it himself. This was the biggest paradox a person could face. In seeing one's own grave, they would be overcome in writhing pain.

"This is why I shouldn't be here," the Doctor gasped out a while lying on the floor. "The paradoxes, it's very bad." Simeon looked down at the gasping and groaning Doctor, then slowly walked towards the white tendrils. The Doctor's eyes widened. "No. No, what are you doing? Somebody stop him!"

"The Doctor's life is an open wound. And an open wound can be entered," Simeon stated over his words.

"No, it will destroy you," the Doctor groaned out, trying to get back up.

"Not at all. It will kill me," replied Simeon, glaring down to the Doctor. "It will destroy you. I can rewrite your every living moment. I can turn every one of your victories into defeats. Poison every friendship. Deliver pain to your every breath." Wanda shivered, fearing what the being would do. Knowing what he will do.

"It will burn you up. Once you go through, you can't come back. You will be scattered along my timeline like confetti," the Doctor told Simeon. A cold dread washed over him. Which points in his timeline was Simeon aiming for?

"It matters not, Doctor," Simeon retorted harshly. "You thwarted me at every turn. Now you will give me peace as I take my revenge, of every second of your life. Goodbye, Doctor." Simeon backed up into the timeline before the Doctor could say another word. He could only watch in horror as the Great Intelligence screamed and was consumed by the tendrils.

The Whisper Men disappeared in an instant and the whole room shook violently. The Paternoster Gang stumbled around on their feet. Clara and Wanda gripped onto the Doctor tightly in fear as to what was to come. The Doctor started to scream in agony, thrashing upon the floor. The timeline in front of them turned red.

"What's wrong with him?" Clara asked in alarm. "What's happening?"

"He's being destroyed all at once. Torn apart throughout his timeline," Wanda cried, trying to keep the Doctor from thrashing too greatly and hurting himself. "He's dying. Oh, god! He's dying!" Wanda sobbed, holding onto his head and trying to talk to him, trying to sooth him. Vastra pulled out a device from her pocket, naming off what was happening. Each places the Doctor was dying and being stopped.

"Oh, dear goddess," Vastra breathed, letting her device fall limping to her side.

"What's wrong?" Jenny asked her.

"The universe without the Doctor. There will be consequences," Vastra told her. They all jumped when Wanda let out a piercing screech. The Time Lady had stood up and backed away from the Doctor on the floor, gripping her head tightly. Vastra stared at her with wide eyes. "Wanderer? What's wrong?"

They watched as she shook violently in place. Her hands fisting her hair in a death grip. They could hear her panting harshly, aggressively. She rocked on her feet and gave another loud screeching scream.

"Wanda?!" Vastra shouted, hurriedly going over to her. Jenny followed over as well while Strax remained where he was, seeming unsure of what to do. The Silurian and Jenny both held onto Wanda as she fell onto her knees. Vastra shook the Time Lady's shoulder. "Wanderer? Wanda?!"

"What's happening to her?" Clara asked in alarm. The Doctor and Wanda both screamed in unison as the ship around them shook.

"Her time stream is linked with the Doctor's," Vastra explained in breathing panic. "She's being rewritten as well."

"SHUT UP!" Wanda screeched suddenly. "Make them shut up! Silence them! Kill them all! Make them die! They must all DIE!" She collapsed to the ground, starting to convulse.

Wanda had no idea what was happening. All she knew was her whole body was going through torment. Every fiber of her being was in agonizing pain. She knew she was screaming something. She could feel the harsh vibrations within her throat. But the ringing in her ears let her hear nothing. Her mind was being ripped apart far too greatly to even register what was being said anyway.

Images flew by within her mind. All at once. All in reverse. Her whole life with the Doctor was travelling backwards. Being erased. She kept trying to grasp each image, each memory. Trying to desperately hold onto them. But each one slipped through her fingers like water. All she could do was watch and feel her hearts being ripped out along with the memories. She could not remember what she had been doing moments ago. Could not remember yesterday. Last week. Last month. Last year. The past decades. She saw images of her and the Doctor kissing, laughing, holding hands; all being turned to dust like they were nothing. They all were torn from her mind, leaving her an empty shell with something pounding away at a barrier within her mind. Wanting to slice through the damn obstacle like paper and come out with a force.

Wanda stopped convulsing after a few moments as her last memories left her. The moment she awoke with Rory leaning over her within the grave, wiped away from her mind forever. Her eyes were left blank as they stared at the Doctor, unblinking, with no emotion whatsoever running through them. The Time Lord had rolled to his side, trying to fight through the pain and crawl over to his Wanderer. Suddenly, they all noticed out Wanda's hands were becoming clear. They were slowly disappearing. Her whole body, fading away.

"Wanderer . . . no," the Doctor sobbed, as he pulled himself over to her. He gritted his teeth harshly, forcing himself to move through the torment within his own body. He made it over to her, touching Wanda's cheek as she remained staring at him, her eyes devoid of anything. Not even the sparkle he had grown to love so much. He shivered as it reminded him of another moment in time when he had seen the very same look in her eyes. "Wanderer . . . please. Stay . . . with me."

His hand suddenly fell through her as she became even more transparent. His hands grasped wilding at the space where he knew she was lying. He could still see her, though barely.

"Wanda!" he shouted, grasping at nothing as she completely vanished from existence.

Clara watched as the Doctor sobbed on the ground. Still panting from the pain of his own torment of being rewritten. As well as going through the pain of losing his Wanderer. Vastra, Jenny, and Strax hurriedly went outside as the Silurian's scanner warned her of the doom happening in the universe. All three were visibly shaken from what they had seen happen to the Time Lady. Clara remained kneeling on the floor, tears streaming down her face in having watched Wanda die in such a horrible way. Would the same happen to the Doctor? The girl looked up at the time stream, seeing the red tendrils. Words of Wanda echoing in her mind from earlier.

"I have to go in there," Clara said aloud, seeing River standing on the corner of her eye. The woman looked just as upset as the Doctor as she held her hands together tightly in anxiety. Clara glanced at the crying Doctor and back to the timeline. "I've already done this. They've already seen me do it. Wanda always calls me the impossible girl. And this is why."

"Whatever you're thinking . . .," River spoke up, seeming conflicted in what to say to Clara. As if wanting to tell the girl 'no', but at the same time 'yes.'

"I'm not thinking. I doing what my heart tells me to," Clara said with full determination, standing up to face the timeline properly. "'Follow what your heart tells you, for it knows the way.' That's what Wanda always says."

"The time winds will tear you into a million pieces," River told her gently. Wanting to at least let the girl know what was in store for her. "A million versions of you, living and dying all over time and space, like echoes."

Clara turned her gaze to the dead woman, eyes filled with determination. "But the echoes could save them, right?"

"But they won't be you. The real you will die. They'll just be copies."

Clara smiled at her, seeing that the woman was only really telling her this as a courtesy as River knew what choice they all wanted the companion to do. "But they'll be real enough to save them. 'The soufflé isn't the soufflé, the soufflé is the recipe.'" Clara beamed in remembering Wanda saying that. Realizing why the Time Lady had. A way of telling Clara that she would still be alive for the Time Lords. She would still exist in their eyes.

"The stars are going out," Vastra called out as she hurriedly walked into the room, shaking with great sorrow in her eyes. "The universe is burning up. Turning to dust. And Jenny and Strax are dead. There must be something we can do." Clara nodded, walking towards the timeline. She already knew what to do.

"No, Clara . . .," she heard the Doctor say quietly.

"Clara, thank you," River whispered, smiling at the girl. Clara nodded to the woman, then looked down at the Doctor with a smile.

"Doctor, after this is all done, just do me a favor would you? Keep being a clever boy running with your Wanderer. And remember me," she said softly. She sent him a wink and then jumped into the timeline.

XxXxXxXx

The Doctor stood next to the worn railing of the TARDIS. His body no longer in agony and his mind placed back together. Everything in proper place and fine except . . .

"It was an unprovoked and violent attack, but that's no excuse," he heard Strax say angrily to Vastra.

"We're all restored. That's all that matters now," Vastra said sternly to Strax.

"Well . . . most of us," Jenny said softly. The trio turned and looked at the lonely Time Lord. His Wanderer had still not returned. No matter what, none of them could think of a reason why. Since his timeline had restored along with them, surely the Time Lady would have as well?

"Maybe . . . the Wanderer transported away again?" Strax offered as an excuse.

"I don't think so," Vastra replied, staring at the tense back of the Doctor.

The Doctor slowly tightened his grip on the railing, feeling ready to destroy the room around them. Ready to storm off and show the damn universe what true consequences would happen in taking his Wanderer away from him.

"Doctor, calm down," River said next to him. He ignored her. Pretending he could not hear or see her as usual. River simply rolled her eyes at his behavior. "I know you can hear me. Both you and Wanda have always been able to hear me." The Doctor blinked for a moment, then slowly turned his head to her, seeing the cheeky smile on her face.

"You've . . . always known that I've known?" he questioned carefully.

"Oh, yes," she said slyly, snickering lightly. "Wanda told me. I just had to wait until the right time to let you or her know." He hummed in thought, looking at his time stream.

"I have to get her back," he said quietly.

"Oh, yes. I know," River replied, turning to look at the time stream. "It's the only way to bring them both back."

"Why?" he questioned.

"She took Wanda out of your timeline. It's why she sent the warning through DeMarco. A way to let me know what needed to be done to save Wanda." River folded her arms, staring intently at the timeline.

The Doctor raised a brow. "Who sent the warning?"

River gazed steadily at him. "You-know-who. It's the warning she sent before, remember? 'The Wanderer's end draws near.'" She gave a sad smile, letting him know exactly who she was talking about.

"Ah." The Doctor clapped his hands together, rubbing them. "Of course she would. She's doing it as a punishment for me letting Wanda get hurt."

River nodded, unfolding her arms as she smirked at the Doctor. "And for being a moron."

"Yep. That, too." The Doctor stared intently at his timeline. "I might not come back."

"Oh, yes you will. Wanda promised." River smiled at the Doctor, to which he returned the small expression.

"Well, then, better get a move on. Little Miss Bad Wolf won't hold Wanda at bay forever." The Doctor stepped forward, but then stopped to turn thoughtfully to River. "River, why are you still around? You are an echo. Like Clara, like all of this. In the end, my fault, I know. But you should have faded by now."

"I'm sticking around until I know you can keep your promise." River eyed him sternly. "Which, I must say, you haven't been doing a good job of it so far."

The Doctor looked away in guilt. "Today . . . was just a fluke."

"And you'll just say that about the next day and the next." River crossed her arms, remaining firm in place and narrowing her eyes on him. "I'll be watching you, Doctor. Be sure of that. And I won't leave until the very end." She sent a smirk. "Oh, there's one more thing."

He chuckled lightly. "Isn't there always?"

"I was mentally linked with Clara. If she's really dead, then how can I still be here?"

The Doctor stared at her for a moment, trying to think of a way for the mental link. But no answers came to mind. "Okay. How?"

River gave him a sly smile. "Spoilers." She winked and then slowly faded away.

The Doctor clapped his hands, rubbing them together. He spun on the spot to the timeline, hearing the whispers coming from it. "I'm coming to save you. Hold on, Clara. Hold on, Wanderer." He then walked forward straight into the white tendrils within a brilliant and blinding light.

Hmm . . . So, the Doctor knows of Bad Wolf now, does he? And River, too? Very interesting I would say. ;) I hope everyone liked the newest installment of the story. Please leave a review if you did or didn't. It always helps in seeing what everyone likes for the story. I'm always happy for new ideas and thoughts. :)

Reviewers:

grapejuice101: Yay! Glad that you liked it. :) Hope you enjoyed this one as well. I think everyone has tons of questions after that last chapter. lol ;) Guess we just have to wait for the answers until the next part of the trilogy. Hope it was a faster update than last time. :)

TheLastNephalem: Yeah. I think that might have been the reason Wanda did tell Clara so it would help past the awkwardness and the confusion. Well, as the Doctor pointed out, Wanda's little 'grave' might have been a little cleaner than the others because someone had been taking care of it. Also, as for A.T., that'll just have to wait until later. ;) Let's just say, it had already been answered in some ways in the beginning of the last chapter. ;) Until next time! Take care! :D

10th Squad 3rd Seat: Don't worry, the Doctor will be fine, and Wanda will totally get over her naive nature. Eventually. lol ;) Don't worry. The mystery behind Aleena will be revealed within part three. ;) Until then, hope you enjoy the rest of the story. Take care! :D

CalicoKitty402: Nope, don't worry. Still plenty more time to be worried free. Until the end, that is. ;) Hope you liked the newest chapter!

BlueFlame27: They might be the same person. You never know. ;) But don't worry, all mysteries will be solved within the next part of the trilogy. Until then, hope you will enjoy the rest of the story. Take care! :D

GracefulWolvesInTheNight: Yep, always the drama for this story. lol ;) Wanda's naive nature will be changing sooner than you think. But it is always funny. lol

Jaxrond: Yay! I'm so happy that you enjoyed it. :) Oh, then you're totally missing out! You should definitely give some of the Clara episodes a watch. They're fantastic. ;) But I am glad that it's a big surprise on every corner for you. :) Hope you liked how it ended and that I didn't write it where it was too confusing or anything.

Takara Matsudaira: Hey! No worries about reviewing. I'm just happy seeing you again! :) I hope school and work is going well. Totally know the struggle of balancing all of that stuff around. Yay! Can't wait for the review surprise! :D You got be excited now. Don't worry, I"m sure whatever you got planned will be awesome no matter what. ;) I'm excited for part three as well. I'm keeping my fingers tightly crossed that everyone will like Third Wanda. I just hope I did her character right. I'm so happy that you have been enjoying Second Wanda. I think we'll all miss her. Woot! I'm so happy that you've been enjoying the whole trilogy so far! I'm always overjoyed when hearing how much joy it brings to readers. :) Oh, sweet! I will definitely check out your story now. Thanks for the share. ;) You know, I actually thought about doing that very same idea with this trilogy in the beginning. But I'm sure you are doing a better job at it than I could have. Nah, you're totally more brilliant. :) I really can't believe it either. It still leaves me speechless. But I'm sure your story will be much more popular and awesome than this one. I still have a lot to do to make this story perfect for everyone. Anyways, hope to see you again soon! Take care! Also, yay! Confetti! lol

Arosen Time: Oh, this was the Name of the Doctor episode. The one just before the 50th anniversary adventure. :) Hope it wasn't too confusing and not in a bad way, either. Yep, there will definitely be a big, big moment with Alpha. Hope you'll like it once it arrives. Yep! Doctor Whooves and Derpy are definitely cute. lol :) Well . . . her death isn't necessarily set in stone just yet. But . . . well, it's still in the air as to what exactly will happen to Wanda in the end. Time hasn't really decided yet on where it wants to go. And of course we're friends! :D And wonderfululler will definitely be a word now. lol ;) Take care!

Justus80: Not just yet. We still have about seven chapters to go. So don't worry. Not time to say goodbye to Second Wanda just yet. ;) Though I do hope that you'll like Third Wanda once she comes around. :)

Jesuslovesmarina: Yay! Glad you liked it. :) I don't think death is something anyone should have to get used to. Sadly though, some people experience it so often that they are no longer fazed by it. Which is really sad. :( Well, I hope that you liked how everything played out in the end. Until next time! :)

LovableAmethyst129: I'll go ahead and give the sneak peek now. We will most certainly, without a doubt, fine out fully on the identity of Aleena within the past part of the trilogy. Though, you might be disappointed in having a long wait, for it won't really be revealed until the end. So, hope you'll like the rest until then. :)

bored411: Glad you enjoyed it. :) Yep, all right for now. Though, as you can see, not everything went so good for this chapter. But I'm sure in the next things will go better for everyone. We'll just have to wait and see. ;) Hope you liked the newest chapter!

Audrie-13: It's always good when the story gives a good shock once and a while. Though, I hope it was a good shock in a way. Hope that you liked the new chapter better. :) Take care and hope to see you again soon!

Guest(a): Glad that you enjoyed. :) Actually, that was never a chapter in the story. It was going to be, but at the last minute I decided to pull it from the story. I thought no one would really like it. But it's still mentioned, and technically Wanda still did go to Churchill's bunker with Eleven and Amy. But The Doctor's Wife is still yet to come. That will be in part three with Third Wanda. :) I hope you liked the new chapter and will like the rest to come. Until then, take care! :)

Squidtastik: Yay! I'm so happy that you enjoyed it. :) Oh, sorry about the headache. :( I hope there's no headache this time around. Let this chapter be a healer of headaches. :)

Raging Pansies: All the feels! lol ;) Though, I hope none were bad feels, of course. Yes, her naive nature is pretty adorable at times. But don't worry, the naive part will be gone soon. Though, maybe not completely. ;) I think she'll be realizing the truth soon enough. Though, we still have the wedding to go through so . . . Anyway, glad you liked River and the rest of the gang. :) But I don't think the sadness will be going away anytime soon. In fact, there's plenty more to come in the future. ;) Here's to hoping that things won't get too sad, of course. And to see you again for the future! :)

Lady Artimes Blaine: Well, this chapter might have made things even more suspenseful. lol ;) But I hope it was at least enjoyable. :)

thewholocklover: Woot! I'm glad it's exciting. :D I hope that you enjoyed the new chapter. Yeah, poor Doctor. It really shook him up I think. :( I hope that you will like the ending I have planned. And Third Wanda as well. :) Until next time! Take care!

TwitchPotter: Well . . . you could it's a little bit of both. ;) Hope you're not going too crazy. lol Don't worry, everything will be revealed within part three for sure. :) I hope that you'll like the new chapter, and will enjoy the next part of the trilogy as well as Third Wanda. I'll keep my fingers crossed. :) I think Wanda will always be a little clueless to certain things. But perhaps not with her and the Doctor's relationship for much longer. ;) But you're totally right. Wanda is a magnet for trouble. Just like the Doctor. lol ;) Until next time!

Guest(Whovianeverlark16): I'm so happy that you're liking it! :D Hope you'll like the rest, as well as the next part. Also hope to see you again for the future! :D Take care!

loveneverdies115: You could say the answer to A.T. has already be revealed. ;) But that's a mystery to be solved for another time. Most definitely within part three. Hope you liked the new chapter. :)

jaz7: Yay! Glad you liking it. :) Hope you liked the new chapter as well. And to see you again for the future. Take care! :D

Brianna: Woot! I'm so happy that you're liking it. :) The mystery around Aleena is most definitely foreshadowing. It's a very big key in almost everything to do in how the trilogy is going to end. But as for exactly how everything is going to end is still up in the air at the moment. Anyways, hope that you'll enjoy the rest of the trilogy. :)

SheenaSuddz: Hope that it's good emotions. ;) I'm so happy to hear that you're enjoying the story. :D Oh, actually, that will be the next chapter. ;) I really hope that you'll like it. :)

alexa-chan me: Who knows who she is. I guess we'll just have to wait to find out. ;) But I'll go ahead and give a sneak peek now. She doesn't really have anything to do with Alpha. Maybe somewhat, but not as much as you'd think. And she's definitely not evil. And she will most certainly appear within part three. :) Glad you enjoyed the chapter and how it started. Hope that you liked the new chapter as well. :)

Tayla: Yay! I'm so happy that you like them both! :D Nah, I'm not that good. There are plenty of writers out there much better than me. I just hope that I can be good enough for the rest of the trilogy. I'm also so glad that you are enjoying Wanda so much. :) Hope you liked the new chapter. And to see you again for the future! Take care! :)

Blinked310: Hey! Great to see you again. :) I glad that you found the last chapter interesting. Hope that this chapter was good as well. :) I'm also glad that you like the little changes here and there. But you're right, when the answers are reveal, it very much will be sad. But hopefully not in a bad way. Yeah. Great things just can't last forever I guess. I really hope that you'll like Third Wanda just as much as First and Second. I'm worried that Third Wanda's personality might be a bit . . . overwhelming. Let's just say, she'll be pretty different. But not too different. She'll still be Wanda in the end. :) As for Aleena, well. . . that's a whole other mystery to be solved from the rest. And yes, she's been mentioned many, many times before. Even in the beginning before anyone had caught on to the name. It was in the first chapter which Wanda had met Rose and Nine. Rose had said Aleena had bee a grade school friend. Hope that little note was a nice other point to add in for a reminder. ;) Also, it wasn't Aleena who sold the book, but she did give the book to the shop. So, in a way, she did sort of give Wanda the book. lol ;) Thanks! I was so shocked and stunned beyond belief when I saw the review count. It's just . . . beyond words, really. I'm just so happy that everyone is enjoying the story so far. I hope I can keep it up for the next part of the trilogy. Anyways, take care until the next time we see each other again! :)

Thanks again to everyone! I'm so happy that you all have been enjoying the story so far. I hope the enjoyment continues throughout the rest of the trilogy. :) Until then, enjoy a nice big bowl of fish fingers and custard. ;)
