O-o-O-o-O-o-O-o-O Chapter 45 O-o-O-o-O-o-O-o-O
"Du...Du hast...Du hast mich…"
Anna's emerald orbs studied the stage carefully. John was at the back center like usual, his hair already in a sweaty mess as he went to work on his drums. To the left of him was Ray, his body was sideways so you could see his whole body and his head pointed down towards the ground while his body give small bounces as his finger kept pushing a single key repeatedly. To his right was Roberto, bass guitar in hand with legs spread while his body dipped back and forth. The three boys were more at the back but their positions had been elevated due to standing on big equipment cases.
Pietro was at front center, his hands around the microphone as he sang the German words. Her eyes stayed on him for a few seconds before going to his right, a few feet in front of Roberto stood her Cajun charmer. He wore a loose fitting black shirt, black cargo pants and a black bandana which made his shoulder length hair stick to his face as he head banged.
Her eyes stayed on him watching his every move carefully, eating up the skillful way his hand moved the guitar pick on each cord. She finally looked away when something crashed into her hard, that something then shouted a huge "WHOOOOOO" and grabbed her drink from the table top.
Anna' eyes narrowed as she looked at the black haired girl who had squished herself in between herself and Wanda. The hand that was not holding her drink was up in a fist pumping into the air.
"Du...Du hast...Du hast mich... Du hast mich gefragt...Und ich hab nichts gesagt…"
Noticing the looks she was getting from everyone else at her table Laura stopped and looked around. "What?" she asked but before giving them a chance to answer she put the lime colored drink down in front of it's original owner, "What is that? It's good."
Anna rolled her eyes, "Absinte, it's the French drink from your multicultural menu."
"Hm…I should get me a glass," she answered and then her small body started bouncing again.
"You're awfully hyper, what the fuck did they give you?"
Laura turned and grinned at Wanda, "They didn't give me anything...listen to that…" the hazel green eye turned back to the stage were Pietro was now moving around. "Tell me you don't think he sounds amazing…"
Wanda opened her mouth but shut it when the hazel hues turned to give her a sharp look, "If you're going to lie then don't say anything." The sapphire eyed girl smirked and closed her mouth. "Anyway, what you guys need to do is join me and be good little rocker girlfriends and…" her facial features then dissapeared in her dark locks of hair as her head swung side to side before it went flying around in a circle.
Anna watched her for a few seconds before taking a small sip of her drink, she then shrugged and looked at Wanda, "Thay do sounds pretty close tah the original…" her head then moved from side to side in similar motions as Laura Lex, but not as crazy.
Wanda rolled her eyes at both of them though neither girl payed attention and moved her eyes back to the stage. Pietro had moved back to center stage, his leg rest on a speaker and his eyes were looking a bit to the side to watch Roberto get off his perch to join Remy who was roaming the stage.
"Willst du bis der Tod euch scheide...Treu ihr sein fur alle Tage…Ah-h-h-h…"
"NEIN"
Her eyes moved away from the three boys and went to the orange haired boy in the back. Though he was moving quickly and enthusiastically banging on the drums he was still making the time to yell out the word along with Ray and Pietro.
She grinned at him and her head started giving the smallest headbang, "This is all you're getting…"
"NEIN."
Amara and Jubilee exchanged looks before looking back at them. Jubilee touched the back of her neck as she watched Laura Lex's head swing in a circle, "That looks so painful…"
"I hope you don't expect us to do anything, after all we're EX girl…"
Laura stopped her crazy head movements as the music started to die down and without looking at them hissed "Shhhh" at them making Amara stop talking.
They looked back at the stage, Pietro had put the microphone back on the mic stand and both his hands were wrapped around the top. His eyes looked straight at them. When his mouth parted again his voice was gentle and calm, "Du...Du hast...Du hast mich…" he repeated it in the same tone and his sapphire orbs locked with hazel green ones.
It wasn't until he said it one last time back in a growling tone that Laura Lex smiled, "Ex girlfriends or not, watch this next part because it just looks so bad ass…"
"Du...Du hast...Du hast mich...Du hast mich gefragt...Und ich hab nichts gesagt…"
As soon as the last word was growled all the the boys, except John jumped up into the air and when they came back down they went low with their heads banging forward in unison. John made sure to hit his drums down at the same time his head going low as well making all their motions look synced. After a few seconds of that they came back up and Pietro continued the song.
Lex then turned to give Wanda a pointed look. The scarlet glossed lips gave a small smile and she shrugged, "Ok...that was nice…"
Laura Lex gave a triumphant "HA!" before looking back to the stage an expression of hunger on her face. A few seconds later she looked away as as napkin smacked her right in the face. "What was that for?" she growled.
"It looked liahke yah needed it."
"Huh?"
"Yah look all wet," Anna answered dryly as Wanda gave a disgusted scoff.
"Can you not? That's my twin and that's disgusting!"
Laura Lex turned to Anna and gave her a smirk, "It's the growling if you must know..."
"Seriously, stop," Wanda whined. Amara gave her a sympathetic look while Jubilee covered her ears. Anna rolled her eyes and just turned back to the stage while Laura went back to moving her head back and forth screaming out "nien" when the boys did.
A minute later the song ended and Wanda gave Laura an annoyed look as she almost sat on her lap while hollering and yelling praises at the boys. "I don't know what you're so excited about, do you even know what the song was about?"
Laura calmed herself, slid her friends red drink towards herself and shook her head, "No."
"It could mean two things, one: hast is have. Du hast, You have. Two: hasst is hate, du hasst, you hate. You can't really tell which way hast is being used. The way the song ggoes makes you believe that it's hast because it then translates to 'you have asked me', as in marriage and he replies with 'Nien', no. So it could either mean that he was asked to marry and he said no, or that she hates him but still want to be marry him and he still say's no. Either way, this isn't a happy song…"
"Blah blah blah, he can say he wants to kill me for all I care. As long as he keeps singing that way, I don't mind."
"Why did I even bother?"
"I have no idea," Laura replied and turned to Anna who was smirking and shaking her head in an amused manner. "Anyway…"
"Yea?" Anna asked perking a brow.
"I think you're going to need a refill soon…"
Anna looked at her drink which was still halfways full, she then looked back to Lex to give her a questioning look not understanding the comment. Laura Lex gave her a pointed looked and turned to the bar, the green eyes followed and then Anna understood. She picked her glass up and gave it a small swirl before sipping a little more of it licking her lips after the taste.
Laura Lex watched her and then moved her eyes to the stage, where she saw something that must have caught her attention because she straightened up, "Well my hair probably looks like shit so I better go straighten it up. My performance is next…" she turned to Wanda and gave her a smile, "Mind helping me?" she asked and lifted her hand towards her.
Wanda looked at the hand outstretched before her but ignored it, instead her hand traveled down the length of the dress Laura was wearing and within seconds she lifted it up. Instead of the actual dress lifting though a thin see through mesh fabric the same color as the dress came up with Wanda's hand. She took the end of it and then moved her hand towards Laura's, there was a small 'click' sound and Laura turned her body around to have Wanda repeat the same actions.
Amara and Jubilee looked at the sight in awe and curiosity.
"That's pretty neat…" Jubilee mumbled when Wanda finally pulled away.
"She wanted 'flowy'," Wanda replied looking at her own handy work as Laura moved her hands upwards in wave like motions, the mesh blue material following in the same pattern.
"And I actually like it a lot, anyway gotta go," Laura remarked and made a move to leave but stopped and looked at the other tanned skinned girl of their group. Within a few seconds she closed the gap between them and gave the younger girl a brief hug, "Don't hate me ok…" and with that she was gone.
Amara watched after her looking extremely puzzled, "What what that about?"
"Uh...uh...uh…" Jubilee started stuttering nervously.
"Who knows' she's probably already tipsy, didn't see yah how crazy she was during that performance? She's definitely had more than enough forh tahnigh…" Anna replied giving Jubilee a look that said she needed to calm herself.
Before the Asian girl could give her a signal that she caught on to the meaning all girls jumped when a hand went and banged on their table. After the initial surprise wore off Wanda's sapphire eyes narrowed at the newcomers.
"Was that really necessary?"
"It looked like you were deep in conversation, so...yeah."
"Yeah? Well I would have still heard a nice simple hello."
"...Hi luv..."
Wanda rolled her eyes, "...John." The Orange haired boy smiled at the greeting and pulled a chair towards her to sit besides her.
Amara and Jubilee looked to where he had been standing and saw that he hadn't come alone. After a few seconds though they relaxed seeing that it was only one other boy with him instead of the usual four.
Remy nodded at them though he was pretty sure they were looking behind him but after they nodded back he walked over to his two toned haired girlfriend. "Chere..." He mumbled into her ear when he stopped to stand right behind her.
The green eyed beauty looked away from the drink in her hand to look over her shoulder, "Cajun..."
"What's up?" He asked noticing that contemplative look on her face.
She looked away from him and looked down at her drink before starting to stand, "Ah think ah need a refill..."
He looked at the drink which was still half full, "Mais..." Before he could point that out to her, her head tipped back and the rest of the contents went down her throat. The other teens at the table looked at her in surprise.
"Ah'll be back..."
"I'll go wit..."
"Non, ah'll just be a minute," she interrupted and turned to him giving him a very serious stare. Her hand then went and grabbed his giving it a small squeeze.
"...Daccord" he answered and watched her go before taking her seat. When he looked back at the others he turned to the younger girls, "So u' filles like de song?"
O-o-O-o-O-o-O-o-O Meanwhile O-o-O-o-O-o-O-o-O
Anna twisted and squeezed through a crowd of dancing people while making her way towards the bar. When she finally reached it one of her fingers went up into the air getting someone's attention, "Absinthe," she requested getting a nod in response.
As she waited her nails tapped at the counter top to the beat of the foreign rock song playing in the room while her head nodding slowly side to side acting nonchalant. After a few seconds her eyes went to the small glass in front of the person next to her.
"What is that?"
"It's called Baijiu...it's the Chinese drink on the menu. The description says it's feels like white lightning...don't know what the hell that's suppose to mean but..."
Anna watched the boy shrug, "Well, how does it taste?"
"It definitely has a kick..."
"That's probably why that put that description then..." He nodded and they both stayed silent letting the foreign song continue without interruption. After a few seconds her new drink got put in front of her and after thanking the barista her head got low making it seem like she was going to take a sip.
"Ah'm glad yah're in the mood forh chinese..." She murmured loud enough for him to hear.
Ray looked away from his cup to stare at his fellow goth who was now eyeing him from the corner of her drink. "Already?" He a hint of surprise in his tone.
"Tahmorrow."
"Tomorrow! How? Yesterday you said you didn't know yet."
"That was yesterday, tahday was a new day and tomorrow will be another. Ah'lll be dropping her off around eleven."
"Dropping her off where?"
"Here, so make sure none of the other guys show up and also hide yahr damn car. We don't want her tah know yah're here. She'll figure that out the hard way," Ray gawked at her not being sure what to say. Anna shrugged both her eyebrow at him, "Guess you better start thinking about what yah wanna say," and with that she took her drink and made to leave.
He stood up straight as she walked away and called out to her, "And you're sure it won't affect..."
She didn't stop walking but her free hand went up in the air to wave him off. When she was out of sight he sat back down and grabbed his own drink.
He had been giving it small sips due to how strong it tasted not wanting to overdo it but now with this news he felt his heart accelerating, his nerves started to feel like they were everywhere and his mind starting racing. Without any more hesitation he brought the cup to his lips and downed the liquid lightning.
O-o-O-o-O-o-O-o-O Later O-o-O-o-O-o-O-o-O
Amara turned to give Jubilee a strange look. Her legs were at it again. It was odd because during Pietro's performance and while Remy and John had hung out with them she had been perfectly fine, but the moment the boys left announcing that the next performance was almost starting it started again.
"If you need to go you should just go, I heard it's bad to hold it."
Jubilee's legs stopped moving, her lips started parting to talk but she froze when the lights dimmed.
Amara looked away from her Asian friend and turned to the stage, "I wonder what she's going to sing, I've never heard a spanish rock song befo…"
Jubilee's head had been down looking at her hands, her thumbs, which had been rotating around each other stopped their motion as she peeked at her best friend. Her voice had become silent the moment John started the drum beat and though she could only see half her face she could see her eyes were a fragment bigger than usual.
Amara eyed the stage and refused to blink as she turned to each band member. John was in his usual spot, back center. Ray was back on his spot on top of the black equipment case. Her eyes darted to the opposite side expecting to see the tanned skinned boy that made her insides hurt and to her dismay he wasn't there. Remy and Pietro had now taken his spot, their heads bowed down as they waited for a certain cue to start.
Her eyes quickly scanned the rest of the stage but there was nothing. Laura Lex and Roberto were missing. After a few more drum beats Remy, Pietro and Ray joined the song.
"This doesn't sound like a rock song…" Wanda whispered to Anna who shook her head agreeing. Both girls then shared a look as a voice echoed through the room.
"Como poder recuperar tu amor, Como sacar la tristeza de mi corazon, Mi mundo solo gira por ti…" (How can I get your love back? How can I get this sadness out of my heart? My world only turns for you…)
"And that doesn't sound or look like Lex…" she added as a spotlight turned on and pointed at a corner of the stage.
"That is definitely not either..." Anna finally whispered and both got quiet as a feminine voice joined the masculine one and they started to sing in unison while a second spotlight turned on the opposite corner.
"Como sanar este profundo dolor, Siento correr por mis venas tu respiración…" (How can I heal this deep pain?
I can feel you breath in my veins…)
Laura Lex, who had been giving small steps away from her corner stopped in front of the two boys on the black equipment case, her hand went up and touched the silver haired boy as Roberto's voice stopped singing, "Estoy tan conectada a ti…" (I'm so connected to you)
She let go and moved away from Pietro as Roberto joined her again and both started walking towards center stage, "Que hasta en mis sueños te veo...Sin ti yo me muero…" (That I even see you in my dreams...without you i'd die)
Amara looked away from the stage as the duo went into the chorus. Her eyes found almond shaped ones that were staring at her with a hint of guilt. She then noticed that Jubilee's legs were moving at a fast speed again and it dawned at her, she knew about this. Laura's words before she left made sense too now. She turned to look at Wanda and Anna, both were still looking at the stage and looked pretty surprised by the choice of song and by the fact that Roberto had a microphone in hand.
She turned back to the stage, eyes wide as the fact that they were really singing that song sunk in. Her eyes stayed on the tanned skinned duo who were swaying slowly side to side facing the audience, some who were now swaying with them with lighters in the air. The crowd then got a little rowdy as both teens brought a hand too the side of their heads and moved it in a circle, the cloth attached to Laura's wrist mimicking the action as their voices stayed strong and united.
"Como calmar esta profunda obsesión…" (How can I calm this deep obsession?) Their hands then went to their chest and both grasped at their clothing as if they were in severe pain, "Como se le explico a mi alma que se terminó…" (How do I explain to my soul that it is over)
Chocolate brown met coffee and as his eyes stayed on her his voice echoed all around her, "Me estoy volviendo loco por ti…" (I'm going crazy for you).
Amara got up abruptly pushing her water away, "I need something stronger than this…"
Before any of the other girls could say anything or move to stop her she was gone, lost in the darkness of the crowded room.
Jubilee sighed and made to get up too muttering, "That didn't go as I hoped…" before she could walk away though she felt a tug on her jacket making her freeze.
"Let her go, she might want the tiahme alone." Hesitantly Jubilee did as she was told and sat back down.
"So…" Wanda began looking back to the stage where Roberto and Laura exchanged a look and a frown but continued into the chorus once more, "Translation?"
"Este Corazon...it means This Heart. The song is basically about a couple that broke up and the fact that both parties are having a hard time dealing with it. The chorus goes on to says 'You stole this heart when you left, you left with my kisses, with my kisses and my dreams and this heart is beating slower but I can feel it in my insides that the fire isn't out. It still burns and as long as love exist, our love still burns'."
"...Does Amara know that?" Anna asked before taking a sip of her drink.
"Why do you think she's gone?"
"How? I though she only spoke Portuguese but that's spanish right?" Wanda asked looking away from the stage as the song ended and the crowd cheered.
"...Roberto gave her a mix of spanish songs…"
"Ah remember…" Anna remarked.
"Yeah, well...she had me translate every single song on it."
"Ohh…"
Jubilee nodded, "I gave the CD to Lex after the incident with Roberto in the dorm, thought you know...it'd be cute...I didn't think she'd pick that song."
"Does the song matter that much? Ah'd think she'd react liahke that no matter what song was chosen if it was in that CD...it's memories…"
"Right, but other than what I just told you about what the song is about...that was also her favorite…"
"Oh…" both goth girls mumbled in unison and all three got quiet.
O-o-O-o-O-o-O-o-O Few Minutes Later O-o-O-o-O-o-O-o-O
Roberto chewed on his lip as he listened to the girls tell the others boys how Amara had gone off during the middle of the song, then again he didn't have to hear it, he saw her leave as well. He frowned and started taping his pants pockets looking for his phone. Amara hadn't answer any of the girls text messaged and he was pretty sure she wouldn't be answering his either but he had to at least try. After a few seconds his frown deepened realizing he don't have his phone on him.
"Fuck..." He muttered more to himself than anyone else.
"What?" Ray asked tuning in him.
"I think I left my phone backstage...I'm going to go get, be right back."
"Want me to go with you?"
"Nah, they might need you for damage control," he replied and tilted his head forward making the tall goth boy look in the direction.
Jubilee was standing and trying to move away from the table saying that she was going to go looking for the missing princess because it was all her fault. Laura Lex's hand was wrapped around her wrist keeping her in place telling her to calm down and that it wasn't her fault but the petite asian girl was paying no heed.
"I have a feeling you might do a better job at calming her then they are..."
Ray looked like he wanted to argue about it but his face showed obvious concern for the girl making the Brazilian boy give a small smile and nudge him towards her, "I'll be back."
Without waiting for a response he left, not bothering to look at any of the others. Though he knew exactly where he was going his pace was slow, his dark eyes searching the area around him looking for the dark skinned brown haired girl.
He sighed a few minutes later as he made the climb up the side stairs. No sign of her, he would just have to take another look from the stage after he was done retrieving his cell phone.
As he reached the final step he froze in place. Wide chocolate eyes were staring straight at him, it would have been amusing since her expression looked much like a deer caught in headlights but considering what he had just done and her reaction to it, it's feel wrong to laugh.
"...Hey...what are..."
"I thought this would be the last place they'd look for me if they chose to come after me." Her voice was soft and after a few seconds her eyes lost their surprised look and she looked down at her shoes which were resting on the bottom bar of the bar stool she was sitting on. Next to it was a small glass with a cloudy white liquid and filled with limes. He instantly recognized it considering he had chosen to add it to the menu for the night.
"Caipirinha."
She nodded at the mumbled word and turned her gaze to the drink, one of her legs than smoothly crossed over the other. His eyes studied her carefully and he mentally berated himself for not realizing how special she really was from the start. All of her called out royalty. Some times they way she spoke, how she was cute and clueless about doing certain things, the way she pulled the color purple off, even the way she was sitting now and they way her face was positioned.
After a minute of of his observations she finally looked back up at him, "How did you know to come here?"
"...I didn't. Forgot my phone..." He nodded at a side table where his black and dark burgundy phone case could be seen."Just got lucky..."
She nodded and watched him go and retrieve it. He looked at it before pocketing and then turned his eyes back to her. "Do you want to talk?"
She gave a small forced smile, "After that what other choice do I have?"
"Whatever choice you want, you either do or you don't."
"You said you'd follow me until I listened..."
"I'll stop...if it's going to bother you this much."
Her eyes raked over his figure in a slow manner before she shook her head, "We can talk..."
He nodded and grabbed a stool tucked under the table his phone had been on and brought it over to where she was sitting directly in front of her. She avoided looking him straight in the eyes instead choosing to look at his nose.
"So..." Roberto started and sighed wondering if he should go first.
"...I'm a princess and I'm engaged to be married...this is an arranged marriage decided at my birth. I have no choice in the matter, it is my duty as the heir to my throne..."
"..." Roberto did not comment, he just stared at her blankly since she had said something that they already knew.
Noticing the look Amara gave a small shrug, "I'm starting at the beginning..."
He suddenly thought back to that day in New Orleans and the day after. The day of had been a great day. They hadn't really done much, in all honesty they had probably been the boring couple compared to the what the others had done but he wouldn't have exchanged the time with her that day for anything else. The day after had been the problem, it was the day her parents had shown up and put ideas into his head, the day he hadn't let her say those few words.
"I know not telling you was wrong considering what our relationship turned into and to be honest I didn't mention it because I never thought those two worlds would coincide...and I'm not saying that to excuse what happened. Keeping that from you was a bad move and a hurtful one and I do apologize for it. I never meant to hurt..."
Amara stopped talking as her body got pulled forwards and she was enveloped in warmth. She held her breath as the whisper echoed all around her due to his close proximity.
"You sound well rehearsed...how long have you really been thinking about this talk?"
"...Long enough...and though it might sound rehearsed it's all..."
"I'm sorry for being an an incentive asshole and not hearing you out from the start," he interrupted her. "If I had done that I wouldn't have felt like a dumbass thinking you didn't care and wouldn't have retaliated but acting like I didn't either."
"..."
"That's what a non rehearsed apology sounds like."
"Yeah, all the foul grammar gave me the hint."
The comment made him smile and he pulled away from her but kept her hands in his and was actually surprised that she didn't pull away.
"Am I forgiven?"
The soft whisper made her look away from his nose into the brown orbs, there was a deep sincerity in them and she found that she couldn't pull away from them.
"Yes…"
His smile widened at the answer and she felt his thumbs rub the back of her hands. They stayed like that for a minute in a silence which he decided to break after clearing in throat.
"So, where do we go from here? Do we start over or cont..."
Amara pulled her hands away from him at those words looking at him with a conflicted expression, "Roberto..." Her voice was gentle, music to his ears really. "There is no we...not anymore."
"But I thought we just…"
"Cleared the tension? Yes, we did. We just said what we wanted to and needed to say but that doesn't change anything."
"That's funny, I thought it changed everything."
"How? I'm still a Princess…"
"I once told you that that didn't matter to me…"
"And in the same breath you told me that it was my engagement that did and that is still very much on! Nothing has changed."
"No, now I know you didn't choose him...you don't love him…"
Amara stared at him, her lips pressed against each other before her head tilted, "My mother didn't love my father either but look where she is."
"Does she love him now?"
"..." Amara lips parted in shock, she had not been expecting that question. She blinked a few times and composed herself knowing that pausing was not a good thing, "She cares for him and respects him as does he."
"That wasn't my question."
"The answer doesn't matter, it doesn't change what I have to do, what I was born for!" she replied, her voice finding a cold edge.
"Then what's the point of this? Why are we even talking?" he answered in a similar tone not being one to back down.
"Because...whether it's a little or a lot this is affecting our friends too. It's keeping everyone from being united. I need to stop running away from you! And you...you need to stop chasing me."
He stayed quiet for a few seconds, his eyes closing a bit as he stared at her, "What are you trying to say?"
"Can't we be friends? We were once…"
"I don't want to be friends…" he responded quickly and grabbed for her hands, again she didn't pull away from him, "You don't want to be friends…" he added and looked at their joined hands, "Hell, our friends don't even want us to just be friends…"
"...It doesn't matter what I want," she replied ignoring the comment about the others and finally tried to pull away but he held on tight.
"Maybe not to the elder assholes who make these decisions for you back home...but it matters to me," she stopped struggling when he finished speaking those words. He was surprised when her lips which had been downcast while she looked at him twitched and slowly curled upwards.
Her body leaned in towards him and stopped when the tip of their noses touched, "Thank You...that's one of the things that I loved about being with you...you always managed to make me feel...normal…" after the words she surprised him even more by closing the gap between them.
The kiss was slow and tentative. As she started to move away his lips took her bottom lip and pulled it as if trying to keep her close. He wasn't ready for it to end. Her forehead rested on his and her whisper broke the silence.
"But the fact of the matter is that I'm not normal…" she squeezed his hands and pulled her head away, "I want to be friends Roberto."
He shook his head, "How are we suppose to be friends after that? You really expect me to see you everyday for the next two years and just…" he shrugged, "Not care? be ok?" he asked skeptically.
"No, I expect you to do that for the next two months, then it'll be summer vacation and you can forget all of this with someone else…"
"And what? Next year we just pretend we never happened?"
She left a deep sigh, "I've left something out…"
"..."
"I won't be back next year. My parents sent me here to study as a last request from me...that last thing I get to do before the preparations start. By this time next year I'll most likely be married…"
His let her hands go, "...But it's not what you want…"
Her eyes glazed over but she quickly blinked making the effect go away. Now that she was free from his grasp she started to stand up, getting her drink off the floor as she went, "Let me know what you decide."
She started walking away from him but slowed and turned as he called out to her. His back was facing her as he said "You already know what I'm going to choose. You didn't really leave me another choice, I'm up against the wall…"
"Wasn't it you just a few minutes ago that told me that you always have a choice?"
She watched his head give a slow nod and then he looked over his shoulder, "...I choose you…even if it just two months and as friends...if that's what you really want."
Their eyes stayed connected for a full minute that seemed like an eternity for both. The vibration of a phone echoed and broke the spell making him turn back around so that his back was facing her again. She didn't bother taking the phone out knowing that it was one of the girls wondering where she was. After watching him for a few more seconds she turned back around and headed on her way but didn't go far.
"Did you at least like the performance?"
She turned to glance at him over her shoulder, this time he didn't turn around to look at her, which made it easier for her to answer. "Of course I did. I liked that song the first time I heard it on that CD, I loved it when Jubilee told me what it said...and I love it even more hearing it from you."
"Then why you'd you leave?"
"Isn't obvious?" she waited a few seconds for him to give an answer but when one didn't come she added, "No se apago el amor*…"
He still didn't turn to her after the quick spanish phrase and soon he heard her footsteps going down the stairs. When they were completely gone his hands went to his face and the fingertips of his ring, index and middle finger pressed into his closed eyelids. He pressed hard trying to make the flashes of memories invading his mind stop. But it didn't help, he saw her smiles during drama, her shy expressions after their kisses, her confused look as he told her he needed her help in the kitchen, her excitement when he gave her the necklace, her awe during the Mardi Gras parades, her pain when he brushed her off when the truth came out and the hurt just now at the fact that they couldn't be together.
Before he could stop it a big sniff escaped him and catching himself he cleared his throat and stood up after dragging his fingertips down his face. He cleared his throat one more time and then followed in her footsteps leaving the stage knowing where she was heading.
He was right and a minute later he spotted her standing still a few feet away from the table where he had left the others. "What's going o…" he stopped as he saw what caused her to stop.
Anna, Remy, Wanda, John, Laura and Pietro were staying very still looking at something. That something was Ray, his hands were on Jubilee's arms keeping her in place and he could hear the words, 'She's fine...' being murmured. Jubilee nodded and he was happy to see that she was a lot calmer than when he had left.
That happiness went away though as the eight pair of eyes turned towards their direction. Jubilee's eyes widened and she yelled 'AMARA' and moved away from Ray to go towards her best friend hugging her when she reached her.
Amara looked surprised by the action but returned the embrace and Roberto moved past both girls to join the others.
"Way to ruin a moment mate..." John whispered giving the Brazilian boy a playful nudge when he reached them.
"Technically I set the moment up," Roberto replied nudging back.
"Why am I suddenly feeling so anxious?" Laura asked turning to Pietro who perked a brow at the question.
"Probably because it's been a while since all of us having been together in this close proximity without anyone running away. You're probably waiting to something bad to happen.
"Shhh...you saying that pretty loud luv, they'll hear you,"
Wanda turned to the Aussie, "I don't think anyone here thought it was a secret."
"It's not but it's not polite to announce it that loud either," Anna remarked rolling her eyes before adding, "But it doesn't matter...thay're not paying attention anyway." Her green orbs went to the the younger girls who were still embracing and she could see a light move in Amara's lips giving her the hint that they were having a private conversation. After another second she called out to the dark skinned girl and asked, "yah ok?"
The girls finally pulled away from each other and Amara glanced at the back of Roberto's head before turning to the others, "Perfect. I told you guys I was getting a drink..." She then swished the small glass in her hands to make her point.
"Oh." "Ah." "Ok." Replied the three older girls at the same time. The group then got quiet as the teens looked from one to the other.
"Sooooo, I think I need some fresh air..." Jubilee stated breaking the sudden awkwardness.
"I'll go with you," Amara remarked and put her drink on the table. "We'll be out front," she added looking at the older girls before taking Jubilee's hand and walking towards the entrance of the spot.
"That was planned wasn't it?" John asked as they all watched them go.
Wanda nodded, "Which tells us that something must have happened..."
The three girls simultaneously turned to the dark skinned boy of the group and their bodies leaned forward towards him as they asked "What happened?"
Roberto took a step back, "Nothing."
"Doesn't seem like nahthang…"
Roberto looked at John, Pietro and Remy with a look that read, 'A little help here?'. The three boys exchanged looks as if debating if they really wanted to endure the wrath of the three girls if bothered, but after another look at the Brazilian boy and noting a hint of red to his eyes they each grabbed their respective girl.
"Ahh…" Laura Lex groaned as Pietro tugged softly on her locks of hair pulling her back into him. John wrapped an arm around Wanda's waist and pulled her back a few inches and Remy just put his hand on the back of Anna's neck and slowly moved it down her spine, an action that had her straighten up seconds later.
"Nothing happened," Roberto repeated again when he noticed that even though they weren't as close they were still giving him glares. "We just talked and...settled stuff." The glares softened at the tone he used, something he didn't like so he started fidgeting before looking at Ray, "So, I told you you'd be more useful here," he remarked changing the subject.
Ray nodded and let out a small, "Yeah…"
"Actually, yah'll be more useful tahmorrow."
Ray gave Anna a pointed look but before he could see if she noticed it his gray blue eyes turned to the oldest of the group, "Tomorrow? Dat was quick…"
"Ya sure don't waste anytime shelia."
Anna looked over her shoulder to look at Remy, her lips parted to reply but before she could get any words out they all turned back around as loud yelled was directed at her.
"YOU TOLD EVERYONE!"
"..." Anna looked into the annoyed blue orbs of the orange haired boy who looked from her to the two other girls with her. She quickly took her empty glass from the table, "Ah need a refill…"
"I'll go with you," Wanda answered getting out of John's embrace.
"Drinks? I'm there!" Laura quickly added and they all made a quick escape from the table leaving the five boys alone.
Ray looked after them opened jawed. When he turned back around the remaining boys were smiling at him.
"Y' know a drink does sound nice," Remy remarked and started to follow the path the girls had gone through stopping just before he was going to pass Ray making their shoulders barely touch, "mais in 'er defense she jus told me...I told de others…"
He walked away and John followed stopping next to him too and putting a hand on his shoulder giving it a small squeeze, "Which isn't a bad thing you know…"
Pietro pushed John making him keep walking but stopped next to the goth boy too to give him a look, "Afterall, what are friends for?"
Ray then watched them go before turning to Roberto who stayed standing next to him. The dark skinned boy gave a shrug, "I'm just happy it wasn't me that spilled the beans…"
"Wait...what does this all mean? Why were you guys even told?"
"Eh...it's better not to ask. So tomorrow huh? Got anything planned?"
Ray sighed, "I'm working on it…" Roberto nodded and they stayed quiet for a few seconds before Ray looked at the shorter boy through his peripherals, "...You ok?"
Roberto gave a small smile and shook his head, "No…"
"Do you want talk about it?"
"Nothing to talk about. Jasmine...can't have Aladdin…"
"..."
"So guess for now I'll be Rajah…" Ray tilted his head and gave him a weird look. "That's the tiger, you know, her frie…"
"I know what the fucken tigers name is," Ray snapped.
"Oh, then what's the look for?"
"Because I don't believe it."
"Believe what?"
"That Aladdin is giving up so fast, he made a wish on a damn genie for her sake."
"I don't know, she was pretty adamant about..." Roberto stopped talking as Ray gave him a skeptical look.
"You know what, I think we both need to get a drink. We both have some thinking to do, let's go…" with that the tall boy turned and started to make his way to the bar where the others were. "And while we're on the topic...I think Jubliee's technically Rajah."
"Well that sucks for you."
"Why?"
"Because if you want to get technical doesn't that make you Abu? Those kids are gonna be pretty ug…" Roberto stopped talking again as something hit him hard on the shoulder. He then chose to remain quiet seeing that Ray didn't seem to like the imagery of being a monkey.
O-o-O-o-O-o-O-o-O Outside O-o-O-o-O-o-O-o-O
Jubilee and Amara stopped walking when they rounded the corner to the building. They stayed quiet for a bit, Jubilee staying in place and watching as Amara went to lean on the brick wall.
It was a full minute before the Jubilee broke the silence, "I'm sorry...when I gave Lex that CD that was the last song I ever thought she'd do. I assumed she would be singing by herse…"
Amara brought a hand up stopping her friend from going on, "It's fine…"
"No it's not, you ran off Mara. There's nothing 'fine' with that and it's all my stupid fault," Jubilee put her hands in her face and gave a frustrated growl.
Amara rolled her eyes at the dramatic scene and briefly wondered how her friend didn't like drama class considering how dramatic she could be. She then sighed and asked, "So how exactly did this come about anyway?"
"..." Jubilee's fingers parted so that she could see through them, she then mumbled something inaudible due to her hands still being in front of her mouth.
"What?"
There was a sigh and the petite Asian put her hands down, "I gave Laura the CD on Wednesday, after he sang at the door and you locked yourself up in the bathroom."
"Why?"
"You mean other than they way you looked as you clung to the door? He cares about you and you care about him...and I care about both of you. I thought a song from that CD would help close the gap after the long leap he took that day and you can't say he didn't prove that he was sorry. He went into that building knowing he wasn't suppose to be there, knowing he was going to get caught and knowing he would be punished for it. He spent two hours with Ms. Darkholme and he didn't care, that's something. But yeah...it was suppose to be a reminder of how he makes you feel and it just went to shit. Epic fail," with those last words she let another miserable sigh out.
"You didn't fail…" Jubilee turned to the dark skinned princess, her chocolate orbs were looking up at the dark sky. "But in reality you didn't have to remind me of that. I know how he makes me feel...I live knowing that everyday."
It got quiet again. Jubilee still remained still and in place just watching as Amara's eyes scanned the sky.
"I asked him to be friends…"
"Oh?"
"He didn't like it and told me that that's not what I wanted."
"It's not."
"What I want doesn't matter...anyway it's for the best. If anything else happened it would make it a lot harder on both of us when I leave in a few months. No...this is better…I said my final goodbye to what could have been…" as she said the words she heard a loud sniff. Her eyes left the night sky and looked at the girl in front, "Jubilation...why are you crying?"
Jubilee sniffed again as a lone tear fell from one of her eyes, "I'm not sure…"
"Well stop it!" Amara answered in a cold trained voice as her own eyes started to glaze over. "I've been doing a really great job...of...keeping it in...and…" her voice started cracking and getting low, "If you cry...I might…"
She stopped talking. She had started seeing everything in a blur and had missed seeing Jubilee walking towards her, but it was too late now. She was there invading her personal bubble again, hand gently rubbing her back.
"I think it's time you do…" Jubilee remarked softly, her voice sounding slightly stronger than it did a few seconds ago. "It will make you feel better...believe me, I would know."
And that's all the prodding it took before the dark skinned girl dug her face into the yellow jacket. Her body giving small shakes as her voice stayed quiet. Jubilee would have joined her, but she took slow deep breaths calming her own emotions as she remembered the night of play when she had been in a similar situation. Anna had been strong for her then and now it was time for her to be the strong one.
O-o-O-o-O-o-O-o-O Next Day O-o-O-o-O-o-O-o-O
Dark eyes watched a few blondes walk away. There was a sigh and as she watched them go she rotated her shoulders back feeling an ache in them. She wished she could say that the soreness was caused due to working out but it wasn't, the tension was was high and growing and now messing with her body.
Elizabeth raised the volume on her phone causing music to explode into her ears. She had told Emma and the others that she had forgotten something back in the room so they had gone on to the cafeteria without her. She had waited a good minute by the building door before walking out and taking a seat on the brick wall, confident that they wouldn't look back and catch her watching them from a far. They were too engrossed in their own affairs to pay attention to how long it would take for her to join them.
It didn't matter though, she wasn't planning to stay away for too long. She just needed a few minutes to herself, the length of one song would do. She just needed to get her thoughts together and she needed to do that away from them. If she stayed quiet too long when they were together Emma would always give her a suspicious look, as if she was plotting something.
A small smile formed on her lips at the thought. It quickly went away though as she remembered why she had to get away from them. She rotated her shoulders again before her hands went to the back of her neck where they pressed hard and rubbed circles at the tight skin.
The tension felt high. Jean would be back the next night. Crystal, Emma and the others were torn between happiness that she would be back and scared to see what kind of attitude she'd come back with considering the news they had given her a few days prior. She was torn as well, but happy was not one of the emotions she was feeling.
As she started to repeated the possible outcomes for what was to come in her head a group of girls walked out of the building. Her thoughts went quiet and the music blaring in her eardrums suddenly got louder.
/And there you go...neither friend nor foe/
They all gave her a quick glance, one didn't bother hiding the distaste they felt in seeing her there before they all turned away to look straight ahead and keep walking.
/we pray for your soul...as you wade thru the unknown/
Her eyes followed them before turning opposite of them where the blondes were still in plain view. As she continued to watch them her thoughts went to a certain blond haired boy that had been the cause of this adventure for her.
/we'll make sure they know
there was little pain/
They hadn't spoken since the week prior when he had cornered her at Brian's office and it was sad to say but she really wasn't that surprised by this. She knew him and she knew that he needed time to figure all his feelings out, unfortunately for her, she knew him too well. His answer wasn't going to be to her liking. She knew him, and he cared about her but he cared too much to compromise their long time friendship for more. He would give into the fear that something would go wrong and he would lose her completely...he wouldn't take the risk. Not like she did. She gave a sad smile at the thought and knew that even if that was the answer she didn't regret anything she had done...
/this was the only way/
Her eyes looked away from both groups and she looked down at her nails. Her legs started bouncing anxiously as she started to scratch the surface of the violet paint, her mind going back to the different scenarios that could take place in a few days. Her eyes closed and she started taking deep breaths trying to calm the anxiety she felt...
/lead me to the end/
And it suddenly faded. Her breathing evened out, her legs stopped moving and she relaxed as she felt eyes on her. One group had been missing a member, like her this individual sometimes needed time alone, the only difference was that she didn't have to hide that fact from her group. Her eyes slowly opened and was met with an emerald hue.
/so that I may go home again/
Her hands went to her ears taking the small buds out halting the music. Anna watched her carefully before the purple stained lips parted, "Ah'm surprised to see yah alone."
Elizabeth gave a smirk, "It's too much of a nice day for me to be cooped up in any building."
Anna looked up at the sky, it was blue, the sun was shining and the clouds were a clear white, "Funny, ah though yah preferred darkened skies...guess even that changes when yah make stupid ass decisions and have tah fit in where yah don't belong."
The purpled haired girl have a small snort before looking up too, "Oh it's coming...you feel it too don't you?"
As she asked the question a cold breezed surrounding them and Anna wondered if she was talking figuratively or literally. She didn't have a chance to ask as she heard the British accent again.
"Congratulations by the way…"
"Forh?"
"Heard the news, Remy Lebeau...I guess self checkmate it is…" she gave her a cocky look.
Anna rolled her eyes, "Found the guts to tell Warren yah're madly in love with him yet?" she retorted. Betts smirked again and opened her lips to answer but before she could Anna looked away from her, "Anyway ah'm not planning tah let Jean win no matter what...because no one is going to ruin meh. If ah have tah, ah will ruin mahself and at least that way it will be mah ruin**. Yah can tell her ah said that..."
"I'm not a carrier pigeon luv." Anna rolled her eyes again and started to walk away. "Have fun…" The southern girl stopped walking and looked over her shoulder at the older girl with a questioning expression. "You have that glint in your eye that says you're up to something."
"..." There was no response as the violet eyes stayed on the deep green ones.
Finally Elizabeth spoke again as her eyes went to the sky, "The storm's coming Anna, have fun…"
Anna tilted her head at her ex-friend before eyeing the sky again. Second later she started her walk again away from her. Elizabeth watched her go while putting the earphones back on.
/Are you scared?/
She took a deep breath in again. There were so many things that could happen once Jean came back, she had to prepare for whatever could happen but unlike a few minutes ago one thing became clear. No matter what happened, her outcome would be the same no matter what. She jumped off the brick wall and gave the retreating goth one last look before turning her body to face the cafeteria and starting her walk towards it.
/Are you Scared?/
O-o-O-o-O-o-O-o-O Later O-o-O-o-O-o-O-o-O
Laura lex legs bounced up and down in her seat while her upper body gave small shifts back and forth as the song playing in Anna's car echoed all around. Next to her with both hands on the wheel sat Anna, her lips were moving but no audio was coming out. In the back seat Wanda was sitting behind Anna, her head moving slightly to the music. Next two her were the two younger girls peering out of the windows, though neither was as excited for the song as the goths they didn't really seem to mind it.
Jubilee gave a deep satisfied sigh as she counted the trees. They had just had breakfast and it had been amazing. The waffles at school were good and all but they did not compare to the crepes she had just had. The song started to die down and Her eyes left the window to look at Anna who was sitting diagonally across her.
"That songs reminds me of pirates...is that weird?"
"No, ah don't think so. Ah think yah can technically say it's a pirate song..." The southern goth answered and gave Laura a glance.
Seconds later the dark skinned girl was turned around in her seat peering over the head rest. "It's a pirate song, didn't you hear those awesome lyrics?"
"No, didn't really pay attention to what it was saying, the beat just sounds very piratey."
Laura rolled her eyes and gave a frustrated sigh turning back around, "Amater."
Jubilee stuck her tongue out at the seat in front of her making Amara give a small smile. Jubilee returned it and both girls turned back out the window, Jubilee nudging her head into the dark skinned girl for a few seconds as a gesture of comfort.
After letting all the tear she had been holding in out Amara did feel better, but then both girls had to worry about getting rid of the redness that tainted her eyes along with the puffiness under them. The redness was completely gone now but there was still small swelling under her eyes, something they had played off as a lack of sleep. Jubilee frowned as she thought back to Amara's words from the previous night, so much for one of them being happy.
"Oh hey! Make a turn! Make a turn!"
The almond shaped eyes moved away from the window as Anna made an unexpected sharp turn.
"What the hell Lex?"
"Sorry! I forgot something at The Spot last night cause we left in such a hurry, mind if we go pick it up?"
"Well you already made me turn..." Anna answered grumpily.
A few minutes later they were in front of the big house and the dark skinned blue haired girl got out but surprised the Asian girl as she pulled the seat up.
"I need help," she answered the unasked question. "It was something big..."
"Oh..." She answered and looked around warily.
Laura rolled her eyes, "No one's here, come on."
Jubilee nodded and started getting out if the car, as she did Laura hit the roof of the car making it seem like she was getting impatient and rushing her but if Jubilee had turned back she would have realized that the noise had been caused to drown out Amara's, "I'll help too" comment. The Dark skinned princess didn't say anything after that, not because she didn't want to, more because she couldn't. A hand was covering her mouth while another held on to her arm so she wouldn't move.
Anna looked over her seat and locked eyes with the younger girl, silently telling a her to stay quiet. Amara gave a small nod which caused Wanda to released her.
"What..." Amara started to whisper but was shh'ed by Wanda who gave a small whisper, "Later."
Away from them Laura and Jubilee had reached the door and the blue-black haired girl have a last look in their direction before closing the front door behind them.
"So what did you forget?" Jubilee asked making her way down the hallway not noticing that Laura had stopped walking at the door. When she didn't get an answer the Asian stopped walking and turned around to look at the older girl who was watching her carefully and that's when she heard it.
Her eyes widened, "Lex...didn't you say we were alone..." Laura Lex gave a small nod in confirmation. "Then...what is that?"
Laura tilted her head to the side as if listening carefully. "It sounds like a piano to me..."
"Why would there be a piano playing if we're alone?" Jubilee asked and moved towards the other girl who quickly moved and blocked the door making the almond shaped eyes widened in surprise.
"Because...maybe we're not as alone as you might want."
"..."
"I had to come in with you to make sure you didn't run off."
"Why...would I want to run off?" Jubilee asked in a low whisper.
"Because you know who's waiting past that hall." Laura watched Jubilee's mouth part but no words came out making the dark skinned goth give a small smile and though she was technically suppose to block the door she moved away from it to walk closer to herl. "I must really suck, that's the second time within twenty-four hours that I've caused that deer caught in headlights look."
She stopped walking when she reached her, "The first time was on Amara when she saw Roberto on stage and now you…" her hand went up and her fingers touched the younger girls chin and pushed it up causing her mouth to close. "I know this seems weird and I know it's not something you're going to want to do, but he has some things he needs to say…"
"What if I don't want to hear them?" Jubilee asked her voice barely audible but they were so close together that the blue clothed goth heard it clear enough.
"Why wouldn't you want to?" Laura asked in the same volume.
Jubilee suddenly thought back to Amara the night before, the image of her shaking in her arms still vivid. Then she thought about Roberto and could only imagine how he felt at the words her friend had said to him. He must have been crushed especially considering how hopeful he had looked when he had thanked her earlier that day.
She stayed quiet for a few seconds before the the words she was thinking escaped past her lips, "Because the truth hurts…"
"But sometimes it sets you free...anyway, Anna really thinks you need to hear what he has to say, and honestly...she's right."
Jubilee frowned and looked over her shoulder to where the same melody kept playing over again. She turned back around when she heard Laura speak again.
"I'll make a deal with you. If when you leave this house today, no matter how long that may be...five minutes, ten minutes, one hour...you're not happy, I will fuck shit up."
Jubilee gave a small smile at this comment.
"I'm not kidding! Just say the word and It won't be pretty...I'll do it even if Anna tells me no…" after the words Laura got pensive, "Though if she decided to get involved things might get tricky but still..." she shook her head as if taking an ugly image out of her head and turned back to her, "You ready? Or do I really need to stand by that door?"
Jubilee's smile faded and turned into a thin line while she shook her head, "I'll stay…"
Laura Lex nodded, "Then I'm going to go...but we'll be outside when you're ready."
Jubilee nodded in response and then watched her slowly walk away backwards until her back hit the door. Without looking she grabbed the door knob and soon she was gone. Jubilee's dark orbs stayed on the wooden door as the piano melody seemed to get louder now that it was completely silent. She bit her lip, sighed and turned around making her way down the hall.
She found him just where she thought he'd be, center stage on a black piano that looked a lot like the one they had in school which only caused her to remember the night of the play when she sat on the musical instrument with him just a few feet away. Her steps were slow and inaudible as she climbed up the stairs to reach him, but she suspected he knew she was there. A few seconds after that thought he proved her right, he slid down the long bench making room for two.
She looked at the empty space hesitantly, wondering if she should sit but before she could really have an inner debate with herself about it, her eyes met the blue-gray shade and she was sitting before she realized it.
Seeing that she had sat Ray looked away from her and focused on the white and blacks keys, his fingers skillfully pressing down on them repeating the haunting melody once more before his lips parted and his voice joined in the melody.
O-o-O-o-O-o-O-o-O TBC O-o-O-o-O-o-O-o-O
Yup, so many of you are waiting for the Jubilay reunion and that's where I decided to end it ;) How sweet of me huh? Added some Betts to this chapter ;) Thought we needed to see and hear from her a bit ;) Anyway let me move on before the Amarto and Jubilay fans bring out the pitch forks...
Romy- Not much really, they took a back seat on this one but no worries, they'll be back next chapter and I do believe some of you (the naughty ones of you :P ) will like what I have in mind ;)
Xietro- They're in the back seat too...small hints, probably will stay the same for the next chapter. This is what happens when you become official!
Jonda- Hints but pretty much the same as Xietro.
Jubilay- It's coming! The truth shall set you free Ray! Well...hopefully. Anyhoo small hints of them here ;) Much more of them in the next chapter.
Amarto-...I guess I should have elaborated on what I meant when I said I had to 'fix' some problems before starting a new one. But I did fix what I needed to fix! Now they can be in the same room without having to avoid each other (kinda). Aww if you guys are sad about this...it's ok lol. How do you think I felt having to write it? :P Anyway, jokes aside, the fix for this ship wasn't going to be easy from the start. Amara is right, she's a princess and she's engaged and she's leaving. But don't despair, Aladdin gets Jasmine right? PS. I think Jubilee's proved that Amarto is her OTP in this chapter ;) Also you amarto fans might be happy to know that I'm half way done with the next chapter of Sinful Delicacies which is the Amarto chap so...buck up! Amarto smut coming soon :P
*the literal Translation for "No se apago el amor" which is what Amara tells Roberto is "Love didn't turn off" so the song is saying is that their love didn't die which is what makes the song really sad because much like our sweet amarto ship in the song the couple broke up and it's hurting both because they still love with each other. So yeah…
** Anna's line about ruining herself is actually a line in My Ruin's song Terror. I just added a word or two to it.
Songs used in the chapter were: Motionless in White's cover of 'Du Hast' (seriously, if you haven't heard it you should. It's so good!), Laura and Roberto tackled RBD's 'Este Corazon', Betts was listening to Intervention' by In Tenebris on her earphones. Ray was playing Red's 'Pieces' on the piano and you'll be seeing that song again in the next chapter.
And just to add some more songs to your library if you're interested I wanted Pietro and Laura to perform 'While Everything Dies' by Mortal Love but felt like there was already too much going on to squeeze it in and the piratey song that the girls were listening to in the car was Xandria's Cursed.
Anyway, I think that's about it for this chap. Jubilay reunion coming up in the next one along with a lime-ish situation for one of the ships (:P), Jean will be making her return appearance and yeah...fun times. Welp, thank for sticking around. I will hopefully be seeing you soon in two weeks but guess that depends on ya'll ;)
PS. I'm seriously not going to update unless I get the ten reviews. I know I know, I'm so cruel but I think it's fair. Anyway to my loyal reviewers, if that does end up happening no worries, I appreciate you and I got you covered! Lets hope it doesn't get to that though ;)
