Aria's POV

I step out of my bathroom in a red dress and black stilettos. It's the evening of Dianne's party, and I finally finished curling my hair and doing my make-up. I enter my bedroom and see Ezra reading a book in his pajamas.

"Are you really not ready?" I ask him in annoyance.

"You look beautiful Aria. I can't wait to take that dress off of you." Ezra says in a seductive voice.

"If you're not ready in ten minutes that isn't going to happen." I tell him seriously.

"Aria." He pouts.

As he is saying this, the doorbell to our house rings.

"By the time I get back, you better be dressed and shaven." I say as I scurry out of the room.

I answer the door and see Paige and Emily. They agreed to stay here and watch Jem and Caroline while Ezra and I are at the party.

"Thank you so much for coming." I say as I give them both a hug.

"You know how much we love to watch Jem and Caroline." Emily says with a smile.

"Feel free to keep them." I joke.

"I wish." Paige says with a small laugh.

"Caroline was sick earlier in the week, and she still isn't one-hundred percent so make sure she goes to bed early." I tell them seriously.

As I'm saying this Jem enters the living room.

"Mom, Caroline is driving me crazy!" He complains.

"Both of you better behave for Paige and Emily." I say in a warning voice.

"Jem come back!" Caroline says as she runs into the living room.

I start to laugh hysterically when I see Caroline wearing one of Jem's shirts that goes down past her knees. She is also wearing on of his baseball hats and is struggling to walk in a pair of his tennis shoes.

"You look adorable." Emily tells her.

"I'm just like Jem." Caroline says with a smile.

Jem groans and slouches on the couch, and Caroline mimics his actions.

"Caroline stop!" Jem exclaims.

"Caroline stop!" She repeats.

"Mom, do something!" Jem begs.

"Mom, do something!" Caroline says giggling.

"Caroline sweetheart, l know that you love Jem, but you're not him." I say with a chuckle.

"Why can't I be?" Caroline asks with a frown.

"Because if you were Jem, you wouldn't get to wear pretty dresses." I explain.

Caroline gasps and takes off the baseball hat

"I love you both." I say before entering my bedroom.

I see Ezra siting on our bed in one of his suits.

"Oh honey you look so handsome." I squeal.

"I'm glad you think so, because you're the only person that I'm wearing this stupid suit for." Ezra says as he pulls me close to him.

"You're also wearing it to show respect to your mother." I tell him.

"Whatever you say." Ezra tells me with an eye roll.

Line Break

After a two-hour drive from New York City to The Hampton's, Ezra stops in front of the biggest mansion that I've ever seen.

"You lived here?" I ask as my eyes grow wide with shock.

"Only during school vacations, I lived on The Upper East Side for most of the year." Ezra tells me.

I nod and continue to stare at the large house.

"Let's go." Ezra says as he opens my door and takes me by the hand.

"What are your names?" A security guard asks us.

"Ezra and Aria Fitz." Ezra tells him.

"Mrs. Fitzgerald is waiting for you in the living room." He tells us.

Ezra and I enter the house and see Dianne surrounded by a group of women.

"Hello Mom." Ezra says in a fake friendly voice.

"It's so nice to see you Ezra." Dianne says as she wraps her arms around Ezra and ignores me.

"Likewise." Ezra says as he pulls away from her.

"You all remember my son Ezra." Dianne says to the group of women.

"It's nice to see you all again, this is my wife Aria." Ezra says as he gestures towards me.

"Aria? I thought you were going to marry Jackie Molina." One woman says confused.

"I'm in love with Aria." Ezra says as he wraps his arms around me.

"Jackie is a remarkable woman though, I'm surprised that Ezra didn't end up with her." Dianne says as she glares at me.

"I am too, Mr. and Mrs. Molina are the best lawyers in New York." A snobby woman says.

"What do your parents do Aria?" One women asks me.

"My dad is an English Professor, and my mom teaches at a high school in Pennsylvania." I tell them.

The group begins to snicker shamelessly.

"Come on Aria." Ezra says as he drags me away from the group.

I have to try really hard to keep my tears back.

"We can leave." Ezra tells me gently.

"N-no I'm having a great time." I say as I force a smile.

"Ezra is that you?" Someone calls.

Ezra and I turn around and see two women approaching us.

"It's been to long." A woman in her mid fifties says.

"These are my mother's best friends Barbra and Shelby." Ezra says as he gestures towards the women.

"Is this your date?" Shelby asks as she gestures towards me.

"Yes." Ezra says as he nods his head.

"Does your wife know that you're seeing her on the side?" Barbra asks.

"I am his wife." I say as I wrap my arms around Ezra.

"You're Aria?" Barbra asks as her eyes grow wide with shock.

"Yes." I say as I nod my head.

"You look way to classy to be the stupid little slut that Dianne is always talking about." Shelby says in amazement.

"Excuse me." I say as I spirit away from them.

Ezra's POV

"Aria come back!" I call when Aria begins to run away.

Aria continues to run, and I eventually lose sight of her.

"Are you two bitches happy?" I ask them furiously.

Shelby and Barbra start to laugh, and I go to the living room to find my mother.

"Mom we need to talk." I say to her.

"Not now Ezra." She says as she continues to talk with her friends.

"Are you even sick?" I ask her.

"No, false alarm." Dianne says with a smirk.

"You invited me to this party so that you could insult my wife?" I ask in disgust.

"What have I done to insult Aria?" She asks as she bats her eyelashes.

"Aria was worried about you, and that's the only reason why I came to this stupid party." I scream furiously.

The group of women gasp at me.

"Please, why would Aria worry about me?" Dianne asks with an eye roll.

"Because unlike you monsters, she actually has feelings." I tell my mother.

"I think she just wants attention." My mom tells me.

The women begin to snicker with my mom.

"What you don't realize is that Aria is worth more than all of you put together. I love her to the moon and back, and when you hurt her you're hurting me too." I tell them angrily.

"Now Ezra..." My mom starts to say.

"I don't want to hear it mother. You might as well be sick, because you're already dead to me." I say as I storm out of the room.

Ouch! Were you surprised by Dianne's actions? Did she actually invite them to the party to insult Aria, or does she have other motives? I'll update as soon as I get 20 reviews! Thanks for reading :)
