Thursday followed the same pattern as the last three days. They headed out in the truck and captured or killed dinos. They rounded the top of the island and turned to head back south in a straight line back to the base camp to cover the center of the island. Unlike the edges of the island the center formed a slight hill that was mostly open grassland. They took a lot of Gallimimus that day and a bunch of red tags including a pack of six T-Rexes. When they spotted their nest area Harry, Smith, and Neville portkeyed back to base camp and got the chopper. Neville flew over the pack and Harry and Smith took out the pack from the skids of the chopper using their Smith50s. They set up camp in the T-Rex area figuring the lingering smell of the T-Rex would ward off anything.

Friday started off like Thursday but at noon Harry got a call from Hermione and she sent a care package to the island by portkey. Harry collected the crate and took the chopper back to the truck. He landed on the top of the bunker and Smith and Neville got into the chopper. Harry had Neville fly them to the center of the island where the top of the gentle hill formed a wide flat grassland free of trees and bushes for a few hundred feet. Harry took the shrunken building out of the crate and showed Smith.

"I had Hermione make this. It looks good right?" Harry asked holding up a three foot tall one foot wide four sided pyramid with a six inch square cage at the top.

"Yeah I guess. What is it?" Smith asked.

"Our hunting blind." Harry said floating the building down to the ground he then waved at it and expanded it to twenty times it's shrunken size. It grew sixty foot tall and twenty foot wide at the base. At the top the caged in room was a ten by ten cube. The top glowed with wards but the base looked like regular concrete.

"Holy shit, is that solid concrete?" Smith asked.

"Sure is. Mia said it was 1,635 metric tons of steel reinforced concrete. Apparently it's all the concrete in the US that we could get our hands on at a wholesale price. If we could have gotten more it would have been bigger. There is no door, just magical portkey landing pads. The inside is expanded and it has a bunker under the floor of the cage." Harry said as Neville flew them up a few hundred feet off the ground above the island.

"Fuck. That had to cost a fortune for nothing. A tower would have worked." Smith said.

"1.5 million and change. But we can use it for the rest of the hunt and it's totally mobile so we can take it with us when we leave. She said it can be modified later as a fully warded apartment building. Apparently the goblins have a few interesting charms to work with concrete. All I need is a city block of land and I can have a 15 floor apartment building." Harry said shrugging as he pulled out his wand.

"I can see the upside but fuck." Smith said shaking his head. Harry never did things by half.

"Now lets see if this works." Harry muttered conjuring a mesh bag. He cast a summoning spell and soon big eggs came flying into the bag. This happened for a minute and when no more eggs came he waved them back down as he took a few deep breaths and wiped the sweat off his face and neck. Harry and Smith popped into the cage and Harry hung the bag on the side of the cage.

"Now what?" Smith asked looking at the three dozen large eggs in the bag.

"Now we call the rest of the team into this hunting blind and wait for the raptors to attack to get their eggs back. That's when we'll kill them all." Harry said with a shrug as he took a seat in one of the ten comfy office chairs in the cage.

The rest of the team and Max landed in the bunker in the next few minutes and soon everyone was sitting in chairs watching a side with their Smith50s. Nothing happened for the next half hour but soon after that Max's ears stood up and he barked.

"They out there?" Harry asked and Max nodded. "Okay, good boy." Harry said patting Max on the head as he turned to the rest of the group. "Look alive people. We're about to have some company." Harry said watching the trees and bushes move.

The first attack happened fast and suddenly. There was a few screeches and then six raptors jumped from the trees and ran at the building. The hunters all took them down before they even got halfway to the building. There was more screeching and another volley of six raptors ran out and attacked. Again they fell just as fast as they came out. There was some more screeching and then nothing. All six hunters stood there with their guns out waiting but nothing happened. Harry smiled a smile that didn't reach his eyes and waved a platform on to the side of the pyramid about thirty feet off the ground. He then popped to the platform and summoned the bag of eggs.

"Hey Smith, can you come out here and help me with something?" Harry asked turning his back to the trees to look back at the group. Smith locked eyes with Harry and Harry gave him a wink and a nod. Smith popped on to the platform and Harry handed him the bag of eggs. "Hold these and be ready to toss them in the air like clay targets." Harry said with a cold smile. He pulled his Sig p226 and looked at the trees.

"Pull!" He called out and Smith tossed a softball sized egg ten feet out and right in front of Harry. Harry took aim and shot it out of the sky. The egg fell to the ground at the base of the pyramid in two pieces and the egg contents ran out onto the ground. There was some screeching from the trees but that was it.

"Pull!" Harry called out and again Smith tossed an egg. Harry shot it out of the sky and this one exploded in a mist of shell and wet yoke.

"Pull!" Harry called out and again shot an egg.

"Pull!" Smith tossed an egg and ten raptors ran out of the trees. The Hunters light them up and the closest one got to the base of the pyramid where the egg hit the base and cracked. Harry stepped forwards and shot the egg.

"I don't think there are too many more out there. You ready to switch places? I'll summon the rest of the raptors out of the trees and you shot them." Harry said holstering his sidearm and pulling his wand.

Smith shoulder his rifle and nodded. Harry waved his wand and summoned the raptors. Four raptors shot out of the woods screeching and flying through the air. Smith shot all of them as they flew through the air. The dead raptors hit the wall with a splat and rolled down the building as Harry panted.

"Why didn't you just summon them to begin with?" Smith asked looking at the blood splattered wall.

"They're too big, too heavy, and too far away. It's why I shrink everything and drive up close to it before I summon it. Pulling these four out of the woods was really hard and draining. Summoning live things is hard. it's even harder when they're awake and moving." Harry said.

"Yeah, but can't you just recharge with the stones?" Smith asked.

"No because i'm almost out of stones and i'm saving the last few i have left for emergencies like an attack on the family. with everything we've been doing i haven't had time to sit in my office and charge stones in months. Now help me shrink and collect these guys. i'm starting to feel winded." Harry said casting shrinking charms at the two dozen raptors at the base of the tower.

"You think that's all of them?" Mr. Smith asked helping him cast spells.

"I think that's all of the ones with egg clutches. Next we have to get these guys back to the ship so our InGen doctors and our two experts can cut out the scent glands and make a stink bomb that will bring the rest closer. If they show up in twos and threes I can summon them into the clearing. If not we'll need to bait them with a fake raptor." Harry said.

Harry took the dead raptors back to the boat and an hour later with some help from Susan they had a male raptor stink bomb. The thinking behind this one was most of the dinos were female. If they brought enough females into the clearing then they would attract the few males still alive too. If not they would try the female stink bomb tomorrow. Harry attached the stink bomb to the chopper and set it off when he got close to the clearing with the pyramid. Using the chopper to disperse the smell as far as he could Harry stayed hovering over the pyramid for a half hour before landing on the cage and shrinking his chopper. He took the second stink bomb and set it off at the base of the pyramid.

They sat and waited around for a half an hour but then Max popped up and look right at the woods. They saw movement in the trees but it didn't approach. Harry waited a few minutes and then he cast the summoning charm. Two raptors came flying out of the trees and Smith took them down. Harry shrank them and tagged them. This went on for the next five hours. Every twenty to thirty minutes a Raptor would show up. Sometimes they would run into the clearing and the hunters would take them down, or sometimes Harry would summon them from the trees. Fifteen more raptors were taken that way. Twelve females and three males. The sun was setting as seven rolled around.

Harry had Neville take Harry and smith up in the chopper and circle the island. Using point me spells Harry tracked down the last two raptors on the island. He summoned the two males up out of the jungle and Smith dispatched them. By the time Neville landed in base camp it was closing in on eight. Smith popped back to the pyramid and tested out the apartment built into the top floor. Luna and Colin popped back to the bunker parked on the bottom of the hill from the pyramid. The rest of them headed off home. Harry popped to the ship and dropped off the last of the raptors. Dr. Grant was observing as a InGen doctor dissected a raptor on a steel table. Harry dropped the cooler off on the table next to them.

"This is the last of them on Site B. I also have a bag of eggs. I'm of the opinion that you should burn them, but that's not my call. What is my call is this, if Simon or InGen hatches one of these things I'm not killing it. After we're done cleaning out the main island we're done with raptors, I'm making it a rider on the contract that if we see one raptor we're pulling our contract. When we clear out the main island that will be it for living raptors." Harry said looking tired. Between the long days and the hot sun he was starting to feel worn out.

"Well, that would be all the living raptors here. You have one in your office." Dr. Grant said.

"Yeah, when I kill the rest he's going too. I've seen evil. I've fought it before. I've killed it before. But the first time I locked eyes with one of these things was the first time I saw something I've never seen before. A raw force of nature. I'm glad these things died out when they did. If not then there would be no us. There would be no mammals. There would only be these things, and the things they eat." Harry said.

"Funny enough, I've come to the same conclusion." Dr. Grant said.

"Yes well, sometimes things are better off left to go extinct." Harry said. As he walked out of the room. He portkeyed to his office from there and found the raptor trying to break the glass.

"I've killed almost all of your friends, does that mean anything to you?" Harry asked the caged raptor and it just looked at him blankly. "I've literally held a raptor egg in my hand and used it to lure them out of hiding. I slaughtered them. Does that affect you at all?" Harry asked. The raptor looked at him blankly but there was something else there, an anger just behind his eyes. "Yes, it does hurt you. You're not totally disconnected from emotion. You feel. You feel it when I say I took pleasure in killing your kind. Butchering them and their eggs." Harry said with a smirk and the raptor attacked the glass. "You know, I know I could train you. Teach you to be more human, teach you to not kill everything you see for sport and food. But the amount of time it would take would be too long. There's just not enough evolution in you. No higher brain function. Just kill, eat and reproduce. I'm going to keep you, I'm going to try to make some kind of a change in you, but the second the rest of the raptors are dead you're going to have to make a choice, you'll either be the last of your kind, or the last of your kind to die. The choice is yours. You attack that glass again and I'll cut off your claws." Harry said feeding the rat raptors a few sandwiches and lunch scraps.

He portkeyed home and found the whole group in the living room watching a movie. Harry kissed his wives and headed off to the bedroom to shower and change. When he came out he found Abby sitting in the kitchen waiting for him with a plate of meat and potatoes and a big glass of red wine. He smiled at her and kissed her again as he took a seat at the counter and dug into dinner.

"This is what I needed." He said rolling his shoulders. Abby stood up and rubbed his neck with her strong hands. "Oh God." He said hanging his head.

"You feel tense, like you're carrying a weight on your shoulders. What is it?" She asked him.

"I, I finished off the raptors on the island today." Harry said.

"So, you said it yourself they are soulless creatures that feel for nothing." Abby said.

"Yes, but I still orchestrated the mass extinction of a species today." Harry said.

"Harry, you took on this burden at the start of the week and you've not been this raw about it. You've acted very clinical about it. What changed?" She asked.

"I used the eggs Abs. I used the eggs to draw out the parents. I made them watch as I butchered the eggs, used them for target practice. I made them attack so we could butcher the parents." Harry said holding his face.

"Harry." She said holding him around his chest. "Harry listen to me. You did what you had to do to get rid of them. They were a blight. A plague." She said.

"The eggs. How can you even touch me right now?" Harry said shaking. She spun him around in his chair and pulled him to her.

"Harry, how many did you destroy?" She asked.

"Four." He said pulling away so he wasn't touching her belly.

"And what did you do to the rest?" She asked.

"I gave them to the Lab techs, I told them to destroy them." Harry said.

"So of the dozens of eggs you had, you used four to lure out a pack of creatures hell bent on killing everything that moves?" She asked.

"Yes." He said.

"Harry, how many chicken eggs do you eat every week?" She asked.

"It's not the same." Harry said.

"Why not?" She asked.

"Because those eggs are dead, these were alive." He said.

"Harry, every raptor has to die, that includes the unborn raptors in the eggs. What's the difference between some lab tech tossing them in the incinerator or you breaking them?" She asked but he had no answer.

"Harry, this week, shouldering the responsibility for the hunt, the team, and the people you deemed too important to get hurt was a lot for one man to take on. You need to take a day off and let the rest of the group have a crack at it now. You've eliminated the major threat. Now take the weekend off. I'm sure Marco and Nino can find you a race. Go racing. Relax. Take the weekend off and then you can go back on Monday. Marcus and the rest of the guys want to go too. With no raptors, there is no excuse to not let them out on the hunt with you again. Go back to making it fun. Make it an adventure. The safari, 65 million years in the making." She said smiling.

"Yeah, maybe you're right." Harry said shaking his head to clear it. "I don't know what got into me. I feel dumb for acting like that." He said taking a drink from his glass.

"Harry it's not dumb, you're going to be a father soon." She said putting his hand on her belly bump. "You see the world through different eyes now. Old you would have floated the eggs just out of reach of the mothers and lit them on fire and made them watch the eggs burn. New you feels bad for even thinking about using the eggs to draw out the mothers." She said smiling at him.

"Maybe you're right. Maybe I have changed. Do you think it's going to affect my job? Do you think I'll still be able to work at SSI?" He asked.

"I don't see why you can't keep doing your job. You've been changing for the last six months and those changes haven't affected your work." She said.

"What changes?" Harry asked.

"You preplan everything instead of jumping in. You keep your eye on the family and friends in our group and you keep them out of danger. You stopped smoking all together and you didn't even notice it. You don't drink either." She said.

"What do you call this?" He asked holding up his glass of red wine.

"I call that being an adult. I call all of these changes being an adult. You'll have one glass of wine and pass out before ten so you can be up at six and be ready to go to work. Face it Harry, you're a responsible adult." She said sadly.

"Fuck, I am an adult." Harry said thinking about what she said. "How did this happen? I was fun once." Harry said.

"You're still fun, but you're responsible adult fun now." She said rubbing his back.

"Yeah but responsible adult fun doesn't sound sexy or cool. I was those things too." Harry said pouting.

"You're still sexy, you're still the handsome rogue, hell you're a racecar driver and a super agent for SSI, that's the coolest. But you're also going to be a good father, a good husband, and a responsible man." She said trying not to laugh.

"True, I guess." Harry said nodding.

"Harry, you spent the day shooting at huge lizards with a big gun while dressed in tactical gear. I think you're cool, and one day when your son finds out what his dad does to support his family he'll find it cool too. And let's face it, no one knows cool like kids do." She said with a smile.

"You know, there was a reason I fell in love with you." He said kissing her and holding her close to him.

"Now take me to bed and show me you're still hot and ready to go." She said grabbing his ass.

"Yeas ma'am." He said lifting her up and carrying her out of the kitchen.

That weekend Marco got them an invitation to a track day event held at Sebring Raceway in Florida. They took two of the restored Ferrari F355 challenge cars Ferrari supplied for the race school and had a good time. Abby and Susan went with them and they were spotted by the local press and interviewed which boosted their image like it always did. Abby got a lot of play for being noticeably pregnant and Harry made sure there were a few shots of him holding her belly bump and smiling. They crushed the race on Sunday, and got to add some tin to the walls.

The next week was mostly spent in the pyramid. They used the egg and stink bomb trick to clear out the rest of the red tags on the island. By Wednesday the only red tags left were in the big bird cage on the back of the island. Neville, who was getting very confident in his chopper skills lowered Harry onto the top of the cage by a line connected to a wench. Harry found the top dead center of the cage and cut a one foot hole in the top. Instantly the flying red tags were on him trying to get him through the cage. Harry pulled his sidearm and shot a few of them and that scared them off the hole. Harry lowered the Pyramid into the cage and when he expanded it the birds attacked it. Harry resealed the cage and they landed the chopper back at base camp.

They portkeyed to the pyramid and it was covered in red tags trying to get in but the wards held them off at ten feet. As soon as they landed they all drew their short rifles and started unloading on them. Soon the red tags were dropping like flies. When they got most of the ones they could spot in the huge cage Harry unleashed his secret weapon. A big bucket of fish guts and heads. Soon they were making diving runs on the pyramid again.

By the time it was getting dark the pyramid was covered in blood and there was a thirty foot wide ring of dead birds around it. Harry cast a few summoning charms to make sure there were no more dinos in the cage and got a big pack of thirty rat raptors. He was starting to think that the rat raptors lived up to his nickname. The island was probably full of them. He boxed them up and recast the charm looking for eggs. He got a few dozen from the spell but unlike the raptors he took care to pack these in egg crate foam in a sturdy box like the rest of the eggs they collected. Then they popped to the floor of the cage and started cleaning up. It was full dark by the time they packed up the last red tag and they all headed off in different directions.

Harry popped to the ship and dropped off the eggs like he did with the rest of the red tags and popped to his office to check on his rat raptors and his project raptor. So far he had made very little progress and he was sure it was the most he would get out of the little monster. The rat raptors on the other hand were food trained at this point. There was a big flat bowl in the middle of the cage with a portkey mark, it corresponded with a bowl in Harry's kitchen. Any time they cooked and they had table scraps they tossed them in the bowl on the counter and it portkeyed to the bowl in the cage. He popped home and found his three wives watching a romantic moving in the living room and crying. He found the guys in his study which he turned into a game room with a pool table, bar, and big screen TVs. They were watching a basketball game, smoking cigars, drinking scotch and playing pool. He found Hermione in the library with Susan and Padma doing research in big old books.

"Hey Mia, call it a night. You're running your team into the ground and rest is good for my niece." Harry said hugging her back so he could read over her shoulder. "Animation Transfiguration?" He asked.

"I got an idea that will help us in the future. And you stink." She said elbowing him off her back.

"Fine I'll go shower. But you three need to take a break." He said kissing her on the top of the head.

After a shower Harry walked by the library and saw the group still hard at work.

"Seriously Sis, you got to put it up for the night." Harry said walking into the library.

"Harry, the work I'm doing right now could save hundreds of lives and solve countless problems. What we're working on now could outlast all of us." She said.

"What the hell are you making?" Harry asked.

"Gargoyles, or more importantly, animated Gargoyles." Hermione said.

"You mean like from the old school manor houses?" Harry asked thinking about the wards and defenses they took down when raiding manor houses during the war. Malfoy had Gargoyles. Huge six foot tall granite sculptures that leapt to life and attacked anyone trying to breach the wards. Those Gargoyles were fucking scary.

"Yes, but I'm talking about something totally different. I'm talking about using those charms on a metal sculpture of a full sized Raptor and then adding a transfiguration to that to make it into a real raptor. What we'll have is raptors we can control, that never need to be fed, and that we can use as metal attack dogs." She said.

"You, my darling sister, are scary. Your mind conjures up the most terrifying things. Whatever possessed you to think this up?" Harry asked.

"We need a viable alternative to raptors. You know they'll keep trying to make them until they do something stupid and make a mega raptor and kill hundreds of people. If we can give them an alternative to the real raptors, and make something that can hunt down an errant T-Rex, or even act as super attack dogs the next time someone tries to kill us." She said.

"You think this is possible?" Harry asked.

"It is if we find the right set of runes and enchantments, but the art of making living statues is a bit of a lost art. And this is the first chance we got to really look into it. Your super bunker took up a lot of time." She said.

"Right, sorry. Carry on my evil genius think tank. But get some sleep. We're handing the rest of the green tags hunting off to three teams and we're taking a back seat until next week. You guys will have all the time you need. So don't lose sleep over this." Harry said hugging all of them as he headed to the Study to hang out with the guys.

The next day was very different from the last week. It's started later in the day. Harry portkeyed to the island with Neville, Luna, Colin, and Marco. They were met by the rest of the men in the family plus Sam and Margret. They mounted up on the three trucks and they headed off into the jungle to tranq green tags. They laughed, had fun, and drank beers. The only thing they had to worry about was sunburn. By lunch time the three trucks met up in the clearing in the center of the island and they had a big outdoor lunch Harry made sure the big table they ate on was covered by the truck wards but aside from that they had nothing to worry about aside from rat raptors and Harry was collecting them as they went so there were very few of them left. The rest of the day and Friday was spent on a family hunting trip. The Steels and friends collected most of the green tags that were left on the island.

That weekend they all headed down to the Miami house to take a break as the tactical teams swept the island for the last few dinos on foot. The group hung around the house during the day playing in the water with their boats and jet skis and had Harry's grilled tacos. When it got dark they packed it in and headed out to a few different restaurants for dinner. They all met up at Taj's garage and they set up a street race in the neighboring warehouse district.

Harry ran in his Ferrari F550 team car. That got the crowd going. Racing two pro drivers like Harry Steel and Marco Gillette was a big deal as well. They ran four circuit style street races and then the cops showed up but Harry pulled his SSI badge and the racing was back on. That really got the crowd going. At the end of the night Harry looked at the empty property around the area and took down some numbers. By Monday he owned five warehouses and a Club Nitro 2 was being built in the biggest one. They would open a car lot in the other big warehouse next door to the club and build an autocross course between the other three warehouses on the end of the street as soon as they got the permits and paperwork from the Miami Mayor's office.

On Monday it was time to head back to the island, but not site B. Harry, Neville, Luna, and Smith were headed to Isla Nublar. The rest of the teams and the VIPs were still on the second island hunting Green tags for fun. Harry again set up a grid of ward stones to track the dino movements. Then he switched off with Neville and hung off the side of the chopper on the skid and summoned the raptor eggs. There were just fifteen and that went with what they knew about the numbers on the island. There were about a third of the dinos on this island then on Site B, but there were a few more raptors because there were less big predators. Harry then dropped the pyramid in a clear field and the crew all popped to the cage. Harry landed on the top of the cage and popped inside before shrinking his chopper. They all had their Smith50s out and ready as Harry tied the bag of eggs to the cage.

"Now what?" Neville asked.

"Now we wait." Harry said setting a portkey on the floor and Max landed looking around with his ears up. "Hey boy, do you feel anything?" Harry asked but Max shook his head and sat on his heels next to Harry's leg.

They stood there waiting for a while but then Max stood up and looked around. "Raptors boy?" Harry asked but he got a head shake. That's when they heard the roar. "Look alive people, we got a T-Rex inbound." Harry said switching to his tranq rifle. They started to feel the booms on the ground as it got closer. "Remember, Simon said we have to take this one alive. It was John Hammond's last request. Now I'm going to shoot it with two tranq darts if it keeps coming shoot it in the leg and I'll heal it later." Harry said as the booms got closer and closer. Soon the trees parted and a huge T-Rex with claw marks on it's side came charging at them. Harry hit it with two tranq darts but it kept coming. He was about to tell Smith to kneecap it when it lost it's balance and tumbled to a stop knocked out about thirty yards from the pyramid. Harry shrank it to the size of a big dog and tagged it with a special tag from the back of his bag of tags and it popped to a small holding cage on the ship.

As they were coming down from that the raptors attacked. four of them came running at the pyramid looking for their eggs. The group shot them all before they got too close. Harry was about to start collecting the bodies when Max barked and Luna yelled and fired off a few shots, everyone turned to the back of the cage and saw four more raptors trying to scale the pyramid. They took them out and Neville called out as two more struck from the side. When they dropped those two Harry took a deep breath and looked at Max, but he just shrugged. From that moment on they each covered a side and Harry made quick work of the dead raptors.

They stayed on high alert after that, but no attacks came. Harry was going to start using the eggs as target practice when the next attack came, but it wasn't by a raptor. The ground shook and thundered and the trees fell. Harry looked at the falling trees and saw a few dozen Stegosaurus and Triceratops stampeding towards the Pyramid.

"Stamped!" Harry called out. He was about to switch to his tranq gun when he saw the Raptors in the pack egging the green tags on. "And the fucking Raptors are using this to get close to us. We're going to have to wipe them out. FUCK!" Harry said feeling pissed off that the Raptors were smart enough to know they wanted to keep the other dinos alive. As the first of the Green tags broke through the trees headed right for the pyramid. The hunters lined up and aimed for the raptors in the pack. Harry fired a few times on the lead raptor and took him down but he also hit I trike it hit the ground and caused a pile up ending in three more smaller green tags getting trampled. Smith had a similar situation with a Steg. Luna and Neville ended up killing more green tags then raptors. By the time they took out the nine raptors the ground around the pyramid was littered with dead green tags.

Harry looked out on the field of dead herbivores and felt a rage boil up inside his chest. He looked out into the woods and felt them out there watching them.

"You fucking evil monsters! I'm going to hunt down every one of you to the last and I'm going to fucking end you! Then I'm going to destroy your eggs! I have one in my office locked up you know? In fact I'm going to bring him here and hang him from the fucking top of this pyramid!" Harry yelled. Luna came up behind him and hugged him.

"Harry, you're yelling at the trees." She said softly.

"They're fucking out there! Evil fucking monsters." Harry said coldly.

"Harry, they're animals. All of them. You need to calm down. They'll be coming back for more soon." She said in a calming tone.

"Yeah. Sorry. I'll just, fuck." Harry said looking at all the dead green tags again. "You know, I've hated these raptors since the day we first saw them. I knew then that they would be trouble. A plague. A fucking plague." Harry said shrinking and summoning the dinos off the grass. He started with the raptor and he took an extra little pleasure in slapping the red tags to their dead bodies. The first Trike he summoned he stood there looking at it unsure what to do. "What do I even do with these?" Harry said looking at the green and red tag rolls on his vest.

"Tag then with a red button. They're dead Harry." Luna said.

"Yeah, they're dead. Shit." Harry said sticking a red tag to the trike.

"You had no choice Harry. You tried." She said.

"I know, I swear to God if they make another raptor I'm going to buy out InGen and burn it to the ground." Harry said continuing his work. Smith cornered Luna and cast a silence bubble.

"What's with him?" He asked.

"He failed his task. He's pissed off. He had two jobs. Kill the carnivores and get the herbivores off the island and onto the boat. So far he's been doing flawlessly. What you have to understand is Harry doesn't take losing well. Failure is the only thing he can't do. He'll move heaven and earth to win." She said looking at her friend and leader.

"But it's just a few green tags." Smith said looking confused.

"17, 17 green tags is not a few." Harry said making Smith spin around. "And I'm not losing my shit. I'm just pissed off." Harry said.

"Sorry Harry." Luna said looking down.

"No, I'm sorry. Now let's get our heads back in the game. Neville is the only one keeping an eye on the situation." Harry said lifting her chin and kissing her on the top of the head with a smile. He nodded at Smith and got a nod and a smile back. Harry patted Neville on the back and went back to his side of the cage.

The day was long. But by six that evening they were flying around the island using a point me spell and it didn't register which meant they got all the raptors. There were 67 in total and Harry shot most of them in the face. Something that was against the parameters of the assignment and meant that repairs needed to be made to all of the raptors for taxidermy. That night Harry handed off the eggs and said nothing as he watched as a Trike was being dissected. He portkeyed back to his office and found the Raptor in the glass trying to jump up to the big cap at the top. It stopped as soon as Harry portkeyed into the room and it stood there watching him as if it feared him. Harry locked his office door and pushed his desk back to the corner of the room. Harry stood ten feet from the raptor and locked his cold eyes on it.

"I've finished off every raptor but you. You are the last one. You have two options. Submit to me and stop trying to kill everything that moves, or attack me and die. The choice is yours. You can be the last of your kind, or just the last one to go." Harry said pulling his sidearm. The raptor looked at him confused for a few seconds.

"Don't play dumb, not now. Not after what I saw today. I'm vanishing the glass. Either sit on your ass and bow to me or attack me. The choice is yours." Harry said raising his left hand and vanishing the glass. The raptor looked like it was going to sit and bow but as it bent low it sprang at him. Harry raised his gun and shot it six times in the chest. The 9mm rounds weren't big but with the raptor so small they tore him open like rifle rounds and stopped his path through the air like being hit by a truck. Harry pulled a red tag off his vest but stopped before he put it on the raptor. Instead he conjured a crate and floated the raptor inside. He vanished the blood and put his office back before taking a seat in his chair and looking at his rat raptors. Amelia knocked on his door before opening it with a wave of her hand. She looked at him sitting there and smiled.

"You started out not really liking those little rat raptors but now I think you really like them." She said coming over and sitting in his lap. Harry hugged her to his chest and put his hands on her belly.

"They are a pathetic little bunch. But I can understand them. They're scavengers. All they care about is their next meal. Not like their bigger cousin." Harry said looking over her shoulder at the crate.

"Is Nigel in the box?" She asked.

"Nigel?" Harry asked trying not to laugh.

"Well he spent three bloody weeks in your office, he needed a name." She said looking at him.

"But Nigel?" Harry asked.

"He reminded me of a particularly stuck up asshole I remember from the fifteen hundreds." She said shrugging.

"Ah." Harry said nodding.

"So, are you going to stuff him and put him in your office permanently?" She asked.

"I think so. He hated it in here I think it's fitting he gets to spend the rest if my life in here." Harry said.

"You really hated the raptors didn't you?" She asked.

"I hated that I couldn't turn them. Make them more civil. If I could have done that we wouldn't need to kill them all. Now we know we can never let one live." Harry said.

"But Hermione is working on her fake raptors. Those are going to be good for this company. Just think about it Harry. A metal killing machine under your complete control. We never have to do something like this again. We could have dropped a dozen of them off on the island and came back a few days later to collect the green tags and the bodies of the carnivores." She said.

"True, we can also use them to protect our property. I know I want one to patrol the Nevada airfield." He said.

"I wonder if she can make small ones and turn them into something other then raptors. Can you imaging a small kitten turning into a five foot tall metal raptor?" She said.

"Thinking about gifts for our children?" He asked.

"Yes, our last names come with a price on our heads and I'm sure there will be a time when we can't be with them all day every day." She said.

"Good idea." He said smiling.

"Now are we going home or are we fooling around in your office?" She asked looking back at him with a smile.

"Fooling around?" He asked smirking.

"Well, it's after hours, no one is in the office but us, we could do it on your desk." She said spinning around in his lap to kiss him.

"As much as I would love to, I need a shower and dinner. I'm beat." He said kissing her one more time before standing up and setting her on her feet. He shrank the crate and they popped to the apartment.

He handed the crate to his sister on the way to the master bedroom and she had Nigel back to his full seven foot tall form and fully taxidermied and standing on a wood base by the time he got out of the shower. She also had a cooler full of meat and a full sized skeleton standing on a wood base. Harry waved at the wood bases and two brass name plates with Nigel formed on the base. Harry smiled and shrank the taxidermied Nigel and set it aside to be put in his office. He then walked into the kitchen and handed Winky the cooler.

"I brought meat for dinner." Harry said.

"What kind of meat?" She asked looking in the cooler.

"Raptor. I'm guessing it tastes like chicken." Harry said walking into the living room to sit with his family. He fell into the couch between Amelia and Abby. Erika got up and sat in his lap to make room on the couch. Harry looked at his wives and he felt happy. The brunt of his work was done and he could, for the most part, relax and enjoy the hunt. There was almost nothing left to hunt them.
