Winter
"Ah! It snowed last night!" Pan's eyes were wide as she looked out her window with wide eyes.
"Are you just now noticing that?" Trunks asked as he walked up behind her with an eyebrow raised.
Pan looked back at him with a smile. "Does it snow on Vegeta-Sei often?"
"Eh, depends on how bad our winter is," he told her with a shrug. "Usually our summers are worse than our winters."
"Hm..." Pan turned her attention back to the snow-covered ground and grinned as she looked back up at Trunks and grabbed his arm. "Come outside with me!"
Trunks gave her a flat look, "it's cold, Pandora..."
"I don't care," she told him with a shrug. "You got layers, don't you?" She raised a brow, motioning to his jacket and scarf she had knitted for him last Christmas.
He let it a sigh, a slow smile forming on his lips. "You're just going to drag me out there even if I say no, aren't you?"
She grinned with a small giggle, "but of course... Tee!" She called, glancing towards her bed. The cat lifted his head from the blanket he had been laying under and blinked his tired eyes. "Trunks and I are going outside," she told him as she ran to her closet to get a coat, hat and scarf and slip on her boats. "We'll be back soon!"
"Okay..." Tee mumbled sleepily, nestling back down into the blankets.
Gohan, Videl and Ruin were in the castle, so Pan took a secret passage, leading a grumpy Trunks outside before going to their lake. He pouted the whole time... That is until Pan threw a snowball at him, which called him to declare revenge. It was only when Pan demanded a truce that they stopped.
"What are you doing now?" Trunks raised an eyebrow as he watched Pan inching further out in the frozen lake.
"Skating," Pan giggled, trying to steady herself on the frozen water. Waving her arms, she balanced herself. Laughing proudly, she moved her legs in a skating motion, moving around the lake. "Come on, Trunks!" She turned to look at him.
"I'm good," he murmured flatly.
"Scared?" Pan looked at him, raising an eyebrow.
"Of course not," he crossed his arms, rolling his eyes.
"I think you are!" She teased with a laugh.
"I'll show you…" He mumbled.
Pan yelped loudly as he grabbed her from behind and turned them around.
"You were saying?"
Pan panted lightly, holding her chest. "You scared me!"
He snickered, "sorry." He let her go, holding onto her hand instead.
Trunks let Pan lead… He enjoyed watching her have fun and be herself. Without either of them noticing, they inched closer to the centre where the water wasn't as frozen. There was a loud crack, and Pan sucked in a breath. Just as the thin ice broke, she was picked up.
Opening her eyes, she saw the lake, and looking up she saw Trunks grinning at her.
"Aren't you lucky to have such a charming Prince, as myself, to rescue you?"
"Hm..." Pan pretended to think about it, dangling her legs from over one of his arms.
"Hm…?" Trunks raised a dramatic eyebrow.
She laughed, grabbing his face with her gloved hands. "I sure am!" She grinned as she leaned up to kiss him.

"Choo!" It came out in a small squeak. Trunks chuckled, trying his best to not laugh out loud.
"It's not funny," groaned Pan, sniffing. She reached over him, grabbing a tissue and wiping her nose. "This is horrible, I hate being sick!"
"Well, you were out in the cold..." he reminded her.
"You were out there with me!" She justified, sniffing again.
"Yes," he smiled, showing his perfect white teeth. "But, I'm a Saiyan, and we have extremely high immune systems."
She rolled her eyes, falling onto his lap. "I wish I could be a Saiyan..."
He didn't speak, instead he started petting her hair. He could feel her warm skin under his fingers, but he wasn't worried since her maid had given her some medicine half an hour ago. He watched her eyes drooping...
"Pandora, why would you want to become a Saiyan?" He finally whispered.
"So I can always be with you..."
Her answer was so simple and sweet. It made his heart pound. He needed to look more at his father's books- he had to find something! Pan wasn't going to get away from him- he knew that much.
"I'm not going to let you go," he promised.
Pan opened her eyes, but didn't look at him. "What about after we have to marry?"
Trunks scoffed lightly, "the only person I would agree to marry at the moment is you."
Her eyes widened, and she had to look at him.
"Trust me Pandora," he caressed her burning cheek. "I'm going to think of something."
"I trust you," she whispered. She closed her eyes, breathing in deeply as he continued to stroke her cheek.
He could think of something before it was too late... He had to.
