Save the World – Magic Style

A/N: Thank you all for staying with me this long :) I hope that you enjoy the chapter and I want you to know that it's not over yet.

Harry sprinted from the apparition point with Draco right on his heels. They stopped just outside the wards. They would have to wait for everyone else to get into position before they could act. Harry pulled one of his sai out and turned to Draco his green eyes glowing from beneath the hood of his scapula. He counted the seconds. "Now," he whispered.

Draco turned slightly. "Dobby," he called. The house-elf showed up. "It is time Dobby please be careful."

Dobby poped out.

They two teens turned back to the Mansion. An explosion sounded and Harry felt the ward flicker and fall. He was up and running as soon as they were down. Several more explosions sounded as Dobby activated the decoy explosives.

Harry pressed up against the manor wall. He grabbed Draco's arm. "We're going in," he said before he shadowed them inside. He closed his eyes for a moment locating the magic in the building. He pointed, "That way."

Draco nodded. He would be joining up with Ginny as they made their way down to the throne room. It was a good thing he'd been there before and Dobby had been a blessing.

Harry watched the blond disappear behind a corner before he went the other way. He spun as a door opened and slit the man's throat. There would be casualties in this there was no way to avoid that.

Link rounded a corner. He looked down at Luna. "Where to?" he asked her.

The girl moved forward. Her gaze was focused and her steps precise, her normally lofty behaviour only a memory. She could focus properly if she really had to – she just didn't like it. She stopped and motioned for Link and Ginny to follow. Then she activated one of the smaller bomb charges.

Boom

The wall next to her had a bid hole in it. "That was fun was it not," she said.

Link snorted and moved inside. He walked in front of the girls. Once he was certain that the coast was clear he turned slightly. "You know what to do Gin," he breathed.

The ginger nodded and sprinted off. She had a mission. 'And heavens help you if you don't meet up with me Malfoy,' she thought.

Neville placed out another one of his traps when he heard the trademark pop of apparition. He turned to Severus and saw that the man seemed to have the situation under control. He continued with his work. The traps were not meant to cause harm but rather to ensure that no one escaped later on.

"Idiot," Severus murmured as he stopped next to Neville.

"That bad, huh?" Neville asked knowing full well that the Professor didn't mean him.

Severus gave a curt nod. He strengthened the warming charm on his clothes before doing the same for the brunet down on the ground. "The mutt better get the ward in place soon or we will have problems. The Dark Lord is arrogant but not stupid," he said quietly.

Sirius ran along the expanse of the ward stopping every twenty feet or so to drop another one of his godson's special made ward-stones. The cold wind rushed past his ears and the snow made it difficult to move. The only good thing about his job was that he didn't need to wait for the mansion wards to fall before he could start.

There was an explosion in the distance. He knew that it meant the kids would be moving in now. He wasn't too happy about that, but Harry had told him to shut up and let them handle it.

He started counting explosions as they went off. At fifteen they would have to get in there or there would be trouble.

"Six

seven

eight

nine," Sirius placed out his last stone. He moved down along the ground and waited.

'Oh, come on Remus,' he thought as the thirteenth explosion rang through the air. The he could hear steps and seconds later his lover sank don next to him. A hand landed his lower back and Sirius placed his hand on the stone in front of him. He focused his magic and released it.

What looked like a magenta coloured liquid spread out from the stone. It moved to the sides first and connected with the next stone in the line.

"We can't stay here," Remus said. "They'll need our help inside."

Sirius stopped looking at the magenta streak on the ground and nodded. They started running.

Link couched down pulled his hookshoot out and fired it at the Death Eater standing by the other end of the corridor he was in. He pulled sharply and the man hit the ground. He turned and motioned for Luna to go. She would be meeting up with the older Marauders.

Link continued down the corridor. He was looking for a snake. "Well Zant were is she?" he asked. The little serpent moved down his arm, coiling around it. It took him a moment to orientate himself and then he pointed his nose in the direction they needed to go. He led his Master's mate down another corridor and then he hissed outside a door.

Link took a deep breath. Since Harry wasn't here neither was Voldemort which was a good thing he guessed. He pushed the door open and moved inside. With his sword in his hand glowing a steady orange, he walked forward. Then he heard a hiss, spun and cut the serpent's head off in one swift motion.

Severus looked up at the sky as a bright magenta light spread overhead. He sneered at the colour before looking down at Neville. "We need to leave now," he said sternly.

The brunet stood up and brushed the snow from his knees. He looked into the Potion Master's dark eyes. "Let's do this," he said with determination.

Harry brushed off the blood dripping from his sai on the Death Eaters black robes. He was following Voldemort like a shadow. The man was heading down to the throne room just like they had anticipated. He was gathering his followers down there. The raven smirked as he felt Draco and Ginny moving into position. 'Perfect,' he thought. He disappeared only to re-appear just a few steps behind the Dark Lord. The man really had no magic sense at all.

They entered the throne room. Harry grinned. Everyone was in position except for Link.

"There are intruders within our Halls," Voldemort hissed. "I will find out which one of you imbeciles allowed for this to happen after you've eliminated the threat. Go now…"

The doors leading to the throne room started closing. Before the last door closed Link waltzed through it. He threw the dead body of Nagini across the floor. "Looking for me," he said with a smirk.

"Avada Kedavra!" the Dark Lord roared. The green spell sailed straight for the blond, who didn't move an inch. Then just before the spell was within his range he lifted his shield and reflected the curse back at its caster. Voldemort moved out of the spells way.

As this was happening, Ginny, Draco, Luna, Sirius and Remus were taking out as many of the competition as they could. They weren't simply stunning the Death eaters but they didn't kill them either. No need to paint their hands red unnecessarily.

Harry leaned back and watched. After all the shadowing he'd been doing it would take a little while before he could take Voldemort on.

"You know Voldesnot? I feel like celebrating today because today is the day you die," Link said as he lowered his shield. He raised his sword and cut the next spell in two. "NOW!" he roared and every single one of the Death Eaters that had been dealt with moved up against the walls. The rest of them moved up to their Lord pulling their wands as they went. "There that makes it a bit more even don't you think," the blond said as Severus and Neville entered through one of the doors. They were cloaked just like the others for now. The door closed behind them and sealed.

The figures in cloaks that hadn't joined up with Voldemort on his side of the room all shrugged their cloaks off. Ginny's bright hair shone in the darkness of the room. She raised her wand in unison with Draco that stood beside her. The cloaks moved forward and a shield rose from them. It would hold indefinitely but it would give them time to prepare the only problem was that it worked both ways.

"Little Dragon what are you doing with that blood-traitor," Bellatrix asked sweetly. She had tried casting several spells none of which had connected with their intended targets.

"You mean Ginny here dear Aunt. You know I think I'll date her when we're done with this," Draco answered. He was relaxed and placed a hand on the ginger's wrist. "What do you say Gin? Want to go out wit me?" he asked cockily.

Ginny snorted. "My pleasure Draco," she looked over at Lucius. "It will be interesting to see the look on people's faces when they realise that the next Lady Malfoy might be a Weasley."

Link didn't care about the banter that went back and forth – if you could call it that. He was looking straight into Harry's eyes waiting for the signal to start.

A nod

Link walked forward and slashed the shield to bits. Spells flew back and forth in fast succession. They didn't bother the blond though. He moved swiftly between spells shielding himself as he went. He raised his blade and cut through one of the men.

Harry's eyes moved over the battle field. He saw how Sirius engaged his insane cousin. Two blonds moved in on Draco and Ginny. The Lestrange brothers pointed their wands at Severus. He could hear a call of traitor form them. Luna smiled sweetly at another blond. Remus pointed his wand at a covering Peter.

The battle between the many players was going in a standstill until…

Two things happened at once. Another one of the Death Eaters surrounding Voldemort moved don towards Ginny and Draco. He lifted his wand and sent a red streak towards the ginger.

At the same time another of the Death Eaters moved his curse was green.

Ginny grabbed a hold of Draco and pulled him back on his feet as she sent of another spell at the Carrows. "Idiot hero you sure you weren't suppose to be in Gryffindor," she muttered.

Draco let out a shocked laugh. He turned and sent a white light towards the male Carrow. The woman screeched that was soon cut off as she fell to the floor. The blond turned and looked at the executor. "Father," he whispered wide eyed.

Lucius fell in line with Severus. "You better know what you are doing old friend," he said as he joined in the battle against the Lestranges.

As Draco and Ginny moved to take on two more of the remaining Death Eaters and Link cut the head off one, Harry moved forward. He would not let Voldemort join the fight against his friends. The man's arrogance would be his fall. He should have started fighting the moment they showed themselves earlier instead of just watching.

The hooded raven stabbed the Dark Lord straight through his upper left arm. He sidestepped the curse that was sent his way. Green eyes met red. "You can't say you're surprised to see me Tom," he hissed. He readied his sai and moved forward.

A wall of flame erupted before Voldemort.

Harry was forced back but it didn't deter him. He grabbed a hold of the flames with his magic and tore them apart before jumping forward. His sai cut into Voldemort's cloak but didn't connect with the man himself. He backflipped and sent of a yellow streak. It didn't connect but neither did the green curse the man sent his way.

Several spells were exchanged much in the same manner. Green for red, blue for orange, white for purple and then some with no colour at all. Some connected some did not.

Harry landed a few feet in front of the Dark Lord, panting. Blood was dripping down from his right arm and there was a deep cut at his side. His nerves burned form a Cruciatus Curse but he knew that the man before him wasn't in any better shape. He took a deep breath and centred himself.

"You truly believe you can defeat me Harry?" Voldemort asked using amusement to hide his exhaustion. "Me the Great Lord Voldemort the Heir to Salazar Slytherin."

"Sorry to disappoint you Tom but I definitely don't remember making you my heir and last time I checked I was the Lord of the House of Slytherin," Harry retorted. He held his hand up and the Lord Ring flashed. "So in the name of the Ancient and Noble House of Slytherin I Harry James Potter-Slytherin Lord of the House of Slytherin cast you Tom Marvolo Riddle child of Mara from the house of Slytherin and take from you the Family Magics you were granted at you birth." Harry moved forward to fast for anyone to se him and stroked Voldemort across the cheek with a bloodied palm.

Nothing seemed to have happened. All other fights had seized as the two started talking. And then Harry said, "Can you understand me now Tom?"

The Dark Lord stared at the raven. He hadn't understood him. There had only been hissing. It hadn't made any sense to him. He roared and moved his wand arm forward. A green streak soared towards Harry.

The raven stumbled slightly he would get out of the way in time. He closed his eyes.

.

.

.

There was a screech.

"Oh, shut up Bellatrix," Sirius roared.

Spells were being cast and a pair of warm arms wrapped around Harry. He opened his emerald eyes and looked up. "You really think I would have let you die, love?" Link asked. Harry breathed in the blonde's scent. "No not really," he said as he sagged against the taller teen. He looked to the left. The others were wrapping things up. He moved so he could see the spot where Voldemort had stood. "What happened to him?" he asked.

Link turned and followed the raven's gaze. "His curse bounced of my shield and he was in no condition to move so it hit him square in the chest.

Harry snorted. "Killed by his own curse twice. That's ironic," he said. He moved his hands down to his belt and pulled out two vials from his potions belt. He gave one of them to Link and downed the other before looking around and spotting Malfoy senior next to Severus.

Severus was handing out potion vials to the others making certain they got the worst of the injuries they had.

"O.K. we better be heading out now," Harry said as he walked up to the others. "No one is hurt to badly right." They could all hear the concern in his voice. There were cuts and bruises and everyone looked like they could use a week of good sleep but nothing seemed to be life threatening.

"We're alright but it would have been a completely different story if father hadn't joined us," Draco said. He was looking at his father hoping that Lucius hadn't done it just to save his own skin.

BOOM

Everyone but Harry and Link jumped as an explosion sounded just behind them. "That is you way out now chop-chop and take these with you," Harry said as he gathered his magic and attached it to every single one of the Death Eaters. He threw them out of the mansion through the hole the explosion had left behind. "Call the aurors and get away from the house with these idiots," Harry said before he slumped against Link.

"What about you?" Sirius asked.

"We'll be right out," Link answered. He grabbed Harry and pulled him up closer to his chest. He looked down into his lover's green eyes and said almost humorously, "I guess we saved the world again."

"Come on mutt let's go the boys can take care of themselves," Severus said his usual sneer not quite there. He walked outside and looked at the black clad men on the ground. Then he looked around the grounds Neville's traps had caught several strays it seemed. He pointed his wand at one of the men on the ground when Lucius stepped up to him.

"Allow me old friend," the blond said before he called his house-elves. He ordered them to move the Death Eaters and gather up their wands. "We were supposed to call the Aurors here?" asked as he looked over at Severus.

"Send it to Madam Bones," Neville said. "She won't let innocents be sent of to Azkaban and we have Sirius Black right here with us."

"We've got an alive Peter too," Remus growled. "He won't be going anywhere don't worry."

Lucius waved his wand and sent off a silvery creature. "It won't take them long to get here," he said. He placed a hand on his left forearm. He knew that the mark was still there. He could feel the magic. He moved closer to Severus. "I thought it would disappear when he died," he whispered.

Severus shook his head. "Harry cast Voldemort out from the House of Slytherin the mark was made with Slytherin's family magic binding it. Harry commands it now I assume since he is the Lord," he explained.

Outside the anti-apparition ward several pops could be heard. A stern looking woman who looked to be in her forties was the first to come walking up to Severus and Lucius. "Lord Malfoy what is goi…" she looked around seeing the high amount of what she knew were Death Eaters she froze.

"Voldemort is over there Ma'am," Neville said and pointed. "The Ministry wouldn't do anything about him so we did." The other teenagers moved up to stand behind the brunet.

Amelia's eyes widened slightly. She didn't get a chance to say anything though.

BOOM

The explosion that sounded had everyone –that could – turn their heads towards the mansion.

"HARRY!" several of the teen's cried in unison. The explosion was followed by a wave of heat and the remains of the mansion were burning brightly.

Remus had grabbed a hold of Sirius so that he could run over to the burning ruins. The dog-animagus let out a long whine. He slumped against his restraints. "Harry," he whimpered.

"Harry isn't dead. They'll be right out," Luna said calmly. She was the only one in the group, aside from Lucius, that wasn't devastated by the explosion.

She was right.

From amongst the flames a figure could be seen walking towards them. There was a blue shimmering aura surrounding it. Smoke blew up in front of the scene cutting the group off. They started walking towards the figure. As they walked, they could hear Amelia starting to hand out orders to her aurors.

Neville made it past the smoke first. He pulled in a breath in relief as he saw that the figure was Link. He was running leaving the others behind. "Link your O.K." he cried happily. Then his eyes fell on the body the blond was carrying. "Harry," he whispered.

Link shifted the raven in his arms to get a steadier grip. "He is O.K. just exhausted. He used up pretty much all his magic making certain that no one would get hurt unnecessarily as we blew the place up," he said calmly. "He's fine just exhausted," he repeated as the rest of the group made it over to them. Even Lucius had come down with the rest.

Amelia stood next to You-Know-Who's dead body. She shook her head. There would be some serious problems with this. She could smell a cover-up long way coming. "Okay split them up I want dead bodies over here and live ones in the Ministry holding cells. Check their arms for Dark Marks," she ordered.

Through the thick smoke she could see the small group of vigilantes heading back to her. There were seemingly two new members with the group. She headed down to meet them. "This is quite the mess you have created," she told the group. "Unfortunately it isn't over yet. The Minister is bound to try to cover this up somehow."

Lucius eyes narrowed. "I will have to deal with that if I can," he said.

"I'll talk to grandmother as well… and Lord Malfoy. Don't forget that Harry has two titles and if we can get Sirius cleared we've got another Lord there," Neville said.

Lucius nodded. He would have to act quickly for this to work. He moved up towards the edge of the ward stopping just before he went through. "Mister Longbottom would you accompany me? The faster we act the better. I can drop you off at your grandmothers," he said.

Neville grabbed Luna's hand. They walked up to Lucius together. "We are ready to leave now Lord Malfoy," he said. Then he turned. "That is O.K. right Madam Bones?" he asked the gray-haired woman.

Amelia answered with a sharp nod his way as she was dealing with one of the aurors.

Link walked up to the ward and sat Harry down on the ground gently before sitting down himself. It didn't take long for Ginny and Draco to join him. Remus slowly guided Sirius down next to Link so that the man could touch his godson while Severus stood nearby keeping an eye on the teens.

Several minutes passed by.

Then Amelia came walking up to them. "Alecto Carrow and Amycus Carrow, Augustus Rookwood, all of the Lestranges, Yaxley and Gibbon all dead," she said. "Who killed them?" She looked up at Severus. When the dark-haired man hesitated she said, "There is no need to worry. I've personally seen the Dark Marks on their arms and four of them were escapees."

"The Carrows were killed by Lucius and Draco Malfoy in that order. Lucius also dealt the final blow to Rookwood and Rabastan. I killed Rodolphus and Sirius there killed Bellatrix," Severus informed her.

Amelia's eyes widened as she recognised Sirius Black. That was a story she would have to get to the bottom of. 'Isn't Black supposed to be one of Voldemort's most devoted followers? Why would he kill his cousin?' she wondered. She could see the amount of care the man had for the unconscious raven though. She shook herself out of her musings. "And Gibbon and Yaxley?" she asked Severus. "I can't say I've ever seen a spell that would do that to a person. They were cut nearly in half."

Severus pointed to the honey-blond teen in the group. "Link is formidable with a sword. He dealt with them. There is also a possibility that there were other Death Eaters still in the mansion when it blew up," he said.

Amelia sighed. "You don't do things by half do you Potion Master Snape," she said.

Severus raised an eyebrow. "I can assure you that most of the planning for this insane stunt was made by the children. I merely acted as a voice of reason when they would listen to me," he said.

Amelia shook her head. "What a mess," she said and walked back to her aurors.

Eventually Severus made certain that the children together with Remus and Sirius made their way to Grimmauld Place. He promised Amelia that Sirius Black would show up for a trial as long as it was handled properly. "His godson won't let him out of that house otherwise," Severus had said.

The coming weeks were filled with trials after Lucius Malfoy and Augusta Longbottom had convinced the Wizengamot that it was for the best. It had taken some talking but once Albus Dumbledore had showed up and added his support the coast was clear.

Lucius walked in to Grimmauld Place. It had been a long time since he'd last sat foot in there and the place really looked like it could use a proper clean up. The old house-elf Kreacher had informed him that the teens were in the drawing room.

The blond stepped into the room. His eyes travelled to his son first. Draco seemed to be doing quite well. He knew that there were several things he would simply have to get used to now. The ginger in his son's lap was most likely one of them. He wasn't there to see his son now though. He knew that he had done some rather disgusting things in his past and he wasn't overly proud of it either, but he would get named as a Death Eater by the others and he could at the very least ask for protection from that. His son and Severus didn't have the marks anymore and when he'd asked his friend about it Severus had told him that Harry removed it. "Lord Potter-Slytherin would it be possible for me to have a word with you in private?" Lucius asked.

Harry blinked at the formal tone. He guessed he would have to get used to that eventually but right now it sounded really strange. He did, however, bow his head to Lucius and responded, "Of course Lord Malfoy." He stood up slowly. "We can use Sirius study. Please follow me."

They walked in silence.

Harry opened the study door and invited Lucius to sit down. "So Lord Malfoy what can the noble houses of Potter and Slytherin do for you?" he asked after he had taken a seat himself.

Lucius grabbed the left sleeve of his shirt and pulled it up revealing the Dark Mark. "Severus says that you have a plan on how to explain that he and Draco do not wear the mark anymore while all other followers still do. I am here to ask for the same exception. I know that I will be named as a Death Eater…" he didn't quite know what he could say that would convince the young man before him.

Harry leaned forward. He levelled his gaze with Lucius eyes. "It will hurt. What I did to remove the mark from Draco and Severus had them paying for every wrongdoing they had ever committed. Magic decides what you will be punished for not I. I simply speak the words," he explained. "Do you still wish to have your mark removed?"

"Lucius Abraxas Malfoy you have been named a Death Eater by several of You-Know-Who's followers. Bare your left forearm to the Wizengamot," the Chief Warlock said.

Lucius removed his robe and pulled his shirt up baring a clean arm to the room. The shocked look on everyone's faces had been worth the pain removing the mark had caused him.

"How is this possible?" one of the men in the Wizengamot members asked angrily.

"Allow me to Lord Malfoy," Harry said as he stepped down from the gallery. He turned towards the head of the room. "I Harry James Potter-Slytherin do hereby swear on my magic to tell the truth and nothing but the truth until I leave this room today. On this I swear," he said and a glow surrounded him. "You asked how come Lord Malfoy does not bare a Dark Mark. The answer is simple. He was never a true follower of the so called Dark Lord Voldemort. He joined the battle against Voldemort and as such his mark was obliterated. You on the other hand sir still carry yours," he said.

"Preposterous," the man exclaimed.

Harry smirked. "I'm under oath here and I know you have a dark mark sir. You are free to prove me wrong of course but… Expecto Patronum," a great big silvery wolf sprang from his fingertips, "as you can see my magic is intact," he said.

"The young man has a point bare your left arm to the court sir," the Chief Warlock said.

There was a moment of silence. Then the man pulled a wand from the folds of his robe. He pointed it at the Chief Warlock.

Harry was faster though. He landed just in front of the man after shadowing and grabbed the wand right out of his hand before ripping his sleeve to shreds showing of the black ugly mark on the man's arm.

Chaos erupted. People were shouting and waving about frantically. It looked more like a football stand than a court room. Harry made his way back to Lucius side. "Don't they realise how ridiculous they look," he said quietly.

Lucius couldn't help but agree. Sometimes their revered leaders tended to act more like school children than the aged men and women they were. These were the people who wrote their laws. He looked down at his hands placed on top of his serpent-head cane.

In the chaos no one realised that it should have been impossible for young Potter to move that fast and apparition was not possible in the courtroom. The day did end with Lucius cleared of all charges together with his son and Severus.

Sirius trial was a bit more eventful but once he demanded Veritaserum to be used on both him and Peter there was nothing anyone could do but listen. And then the truth finally came out. Everyone was apologetic but Sirius didn't care about them. He didn't actually want the money they offered him but accepted it. There was always some good or another to be done with it.

The trials continue and the group would oversee them but they were rather relaxed about it after that.

"Madam Bones," Harry said as he walked up to the grey-haired woman.

"Lord Potter."

"There is another matter that needs to be dealt with," he held out a vial with one of his memories in it together with Umbrige wand and the blood-quill. "She's looked up in Hogwarts dungeons right now and there are two young Death Eaters there as well. If you send aurors over now Link will show them the way there."

Amelia looked down at the vial in her hand. "I will take a look at this first Lord Potter," she said.

"Potter-Slytherin, Madam," Harry said.

Amelia stopped. "Excuse me?"

"My name is Harry James Potter-Slytherin, Madam. Lord of the House of Potter and the House of Slytherin," Harry said. He smiled at the shocked woman. He moved his hand and both his House rings showed. "I believe it is time to let people know that."

"But how?" Amelia asked her brows furrowing.

Harry smiled. "Well my mother was born to non-magicals yes?"

Amelia nodded.

"What is too say that her line did not come from squibs of the Slytherin line Ma'am? If you don't believe me you can always confirm it with the goblins," he said. "I'm sorry Madam but I have a lunch meeting I cannot miss." He bowed to her and walked off down the corridor leaving a somewhat confused Madam Bones behind.

Harry and his group knew that a lot of changes needed to be made in their world, but they also knew that they would have to introduce them slowly. It never worked to force things down people's throats. You had to introduce things slowly and preferably in a way that wasn't even noticed.

.

Dark Arts would be introduced at Hogwarts slowly.

.

And the students would be taught the old ways.

.

They would make a difference.
