Rosemary was standing by the gates of the Red Keep when they arrived. She was very nervous. One of the guards in the Lion's Gate had said they were just entering the city.

"Come on, it doesn't take that long to cross the city and reach the castle..." She mumbled to herself while she looked incessantly to the main gate of the Red Keep. Her father and her sister were there too as well as King Tommen with Loras beside him.

"Can you imagine the conversations between Robb and Tyrion?" Margaery giggled.

Rosemary cringed. "Oh dear, can't even imagine. I assume they won't talk much to each other. They never liked each other. And it comes long before I even met any of them. Unlike Jon, Robb's half brother. Tyrion seems to like him and holds him in high esteem."

Margaery smirked. "Now there's someone we'll probably never meet. The Lord Commander of the Night's Watch."

After what looked like years passing by, some knights started to arrive. They were Lannister knights but soon a few men carrying the Stark flag arrived too. Rosemary quickly spotted Robb. The giant direwolf walking next to the horse helped identifying him too. She sighed in relief and quickly walked in his direction as Robb stopped and climbed down his horse. "Thank gods you arrived, Robb. What took you so long?" She asked as he took off his helmet. The vision of his face made her let out a little sigh.

"We had a slow journey."He said seriously.

Rosemary frowned. "Why? Where is Tyrion?"

Robb looked at her with a even more serious face. "He should be here in a moment..."

Rosemary looked again at the gates as more men arrived. "Does he still have his horse? The brown one?"

Robb stayed silent for a moment before he spoke. "He's not riding a horse, Rosemary."

She frowned looking at him. "No?"

Robb shook his head. "He's coming inside a litter."

"It's his back, right? He can't stand the pain if he has to ride for too many hours... He never fully recovered from all his injuries after the battle of the Blackwater..."

Robb sighed as he took his hand to his face like he was tired. "Rose..." Robb grabbed her hand but she tried to back away. "Robb, no, please..."

"Rosemary, listen to me..."

She then saw the a litter entering the castle. She quickly went there. "Stop!" She exclaimed.

She then opened the door and looked inside. "Tyrion?"

"Rosemary..." Tyrion's voice was weak.

Rosemary noticed he was lying down and a Maester was sitting there. She quickly climbed inside. "Who are you?" She didn't even wait for the Maester to reply. "Tyrion, what happened? Why are you... Oh gods, are you alright?" She quickly sat by his side and leaned to kiss him.

Tyrion smiled. "My sweet Rose..." His hand stroked her cheek softly.

She smiled. "Oh dear, I can't believe you're finally here."

Tyrion's hand grabbed hers and squeezed it. "I can't believe it either. I had to see you, to tell you..."

"Tell me what?"

"So much, Rose... Please, let Maester Derran take me to my chambers. I need milk of the poppy. And a lot of it. And quickly."

Rosemary looked confused at Maester Derran and then back at Tyrion. "Are you in pain? Is it your back?"

Tyrion lifted the blanket that was covering him and then his vest and shirt. A bandage was covering all his stomach. It was already stained with blood and the smell was anything but pleasant. Rosemary stared at it for a bit and then at Tyrion. "What...?" She took her hands to her head in desperation. "What is this? When...? Nobody ever said anything about you being wounded..." She tried hard to fight her tears.

Tyrion sighed, he was obviously weary. "I did it on purpose, I specifically forbid anyone to say anything or write anything in letters so you didn't know. I didn't want to worry you."

"Worry me? Tyrion, I... Were you in the battlefield? You said you wouldn't, you promised to me you would stay in the castle..." She cried angrily.

"I was in the castle. Euron Greyjoy himself gave me this present." He pointed the bandage. "With some obscure sorcery that escapes my comprehension he managed to elude every single guard, and there were hundreds of them, and sneak himself, alone, in the castle. In the middle of the war and the battle. But there he was, by my side. I would be dead right there if that beast of the Stark didn't show up in that moment."

"What?"

"Yes, that direwolf creature and the Stark boy. That's how we ended up capturing Euron Greyjoy."

"Grey Wind and Robb saved you?"

Tyrion smirked. "Yes, imagine that. The last thing I needed, owing my life to a Stark and his beast... Never really understood why Robb Stark went there to help us. It was not a command from King Tommen, that I know."

Rosemary closed her eyes for a moment trying to take all that in. Tyrion continued his rant. "Maybe he should have let me die. But then I remembered, I have to see my wife and my children, even if for a last time. Maester Derran has helped me with that."

The Maester shook his head disapproving. "You should have stayed in Casterly Rock like I told you, my Lord. This journey has only made things worse. I could have healed you there, or at least try. But after this journey, it has only made things worse..."

Tyrion smirked again. "Well, at least I had time to think. And now I need to rest. Rose, please, let them take me to a bed."

Rosemary was still in shock. "Tyrion... If this is so bad," she pointed at his bandage, "why did you decide to take this journey? You should have stayed in Casterly Rock and heal. I could have gone there. Maybe even take Luthor and Joanna with me..."

"And put you three at risk? No way. I've done a lot of stupid things in my life, a great lot of them, but never would I put you or our children in unnecessary danger. Oh, I need to see them. Rose, we'll talk, yes, we do have to talk and that's why I'm here, but later, please. Maester Derran, milk of the poppy, hurry!" He winced in pain.

Rosemary eventually let them take Tyrion to Maegor's Holdfast to rest for a bit. She wanted to go along but Maester Derran said Tyrion should just sleep now so she let them go. She also noticed Robb was still standing there, in the middle of the path, looking at her. Her father was already gone, so she walked over to Robb to try and get some answers.

"What happened, Robb? How did Euron Greyjoy even manage to get close to Tyrion inside a secure and guarded castle when the Iron men were already losing the war?"

Robb shook his head. "I don't know. The guards don't know. Jaime Lannister and one of his cousins, who were on duty that night, don't know. I woke up when I sensed Grey Wind was gone from my side. I found him two floors up, in Tyrion's bed chambers, already trying to rip Euron Greyjoy apart. Tyrion was bleeding profusely from his stomach. And..." Robb shut up visibly uneasy.

"And what?"

"And... that's how we captured Euron Greyjoy." Robb said a little strangely. "Believe me, there's something very obscure and frightening about that man. He's currently being held captive inside what is supposed to be the safest and also most horrible cells of Casterly Rock but honestly... I told Jaime, if Euron could get inside the castle just like that... what prevents him from escaping without anyone noticing it too?"

Rosemary took a deep breath. "Dear gods... Thank you and you too, I suppose..." She stroked Grey Wind's fur. The direwolf took a step closer to her and rested his head against her.

"Why did you go there, Robb? I told you not to..."

"You know why."

"You shouldn't have."

Robb sighed and his expression hardened. "Yes, maybe I shouldn't, maybe I shouldn't have gone so you would have no husband by now. It's not like he deserves you anyway. Once again, I always seem to make the worst decisions."

"Oh, I didn't mean that. I'm sorry, I'm very grateful for what you did but I just... It's just so much. There's been so many things... It seems my head will just explode anytime soon."

Robb shook his head regretful. "No, I'm the one sorry for talking to you like that. I'm just so... angry. What else did Tyrion tell you about that night?"

Rosemary shrugged. "Not much more. He didn't want me to know he was injured, I only found out about it now. He just wants to rest, he is really in pain and tired. He says we'll talk later. But why? Did anything else happen?"

Robb sighed again and Rosemary could see he was very upset. He kicked a stone with his boot and then held her hand tight even though she tried to avoid it. "Talk to him then. And we'll talk after that."

She scowled a bit. "Robb, is there anything you want to tell me?"

"Just talk to him first." He simply said.

"All right. But we, my father and I, have something to talk to you."

Robb looked surprised at her. "About what? Your father didn't mention anything now."

She sighed. "Something important. Something I can't tell you here."

Robb sighed. "Can you at least tell me what it's about?"

"You'll see. It's about the Realm. But never mind that now. Come on, I'm sure you want to eat something and have some rest too."

He made a weak smile. "That sounds lovely."
