Finally a chapter I forgot about this guys sorry, this is finishing it. Note at the end, thanks again guys! I don't own Zelda but I might write something with 'Into the wild.' Have a great day guys!
'It was so tiny.' Zelda thought. Taking in the walls, the place had a small circle wall with a bigger one behind. Obviously there were three, no, Zelda studied the area, 'Four. Definitely four. Areas.'
Idly Zelda rubbed the back of her hand as she and Malon got closer to the town.
After passing the gates, Zelda knew she had been right. The town was puny. 'I could fit the entire town in my courtyard and have room.' Zelda thought absently. As Malon steered Epona to the milk bar.
The steady , tick, tick, tick, from the huge clock in the middle of the town was a little disturbing at first. When Malon pulled the cart to a stop outside a place that read, 'Milk Bar', then hopped off the cart to head inside the blue door Zelda continued to look around. Spying, and picking out various workers in the town, along with shops.
She looked back at the monolith of a clock. Why would they even have that thing here? In the middle of the town no less. Still.' Zelda thought a little acidly, 'It was call Clocktown. It would make sense to have a clock.'
Zelda looked higher at the clock-tower. Her chest constriction almost as if something was squeezing her, no more like falling, flatting her?
Tearing her gaze away from the tower with an effort of will. Then after a few seconds realizing she was breathing very shallowly, and feeling very clammy. Zelda resolved not to look at that tower again, instead she watched people moving back and fourth. Curiously, she noticed now that none of them looked up at that clock.
The blue door opened again and a mustache man came out with Malon, he beamed, "I'm so glad to have your shipment. My boys and I will take it right in."
The 'boys' were two hidebound blocks on men, one easily able to lift crate, cart and two travelers with one arm.
"Why don't you show your friend some of the sights?"
Sheik nodded, agreeing with the plan. Then turned to Malon. Who smiled apologetically, "I haven't been to town so I have a few things I need to get."
Sheik glanced back to the man, then to Malon, "Is their a fairy fountain nearby?"
"There is one in the north section." Malon said helpfully. Pointing. "It's a little hard to get to though."
"I'm sure I'll be fine." Sheik assured, Then asked, "How long do you think you will be?"
Malon shrugged her shoulders, "It depends on how many people are waiting on the merchant."
"Well, you will know where I will be. If not I'll come find you, or meet back at the cart."
The milk bar owner nodded, "I can put your cart in the back until you two come back."
Zelda found the fairy fountain without any problem in the north quarter. If she had any doubts she could have asked the little boy who was trying to pop a balloon with a creepy mask with bug eyes on it. Since the fence in the way, she just grabbed it and lifted. It came straight up. Leaning it against an opposite side. Zelda climbed up the little hill, and rechecked the fence. Why anyone would position it so that it was hard to get to the fairy fountain was beyond her. Eyeing the little boy who had stopped his shooting at the balloon. 'Perhaps the fairy fountain isn't for children.' The fairy's didn't show anything, they wore vines, but there were a couple of instances where kids were traumatized accidentally by a great fairy. Or got bonked on the head by smaller fairy's after they had used the fountain as a toilet.
Zelda hadn't heard of anyone drowning in a fairy fountain before, even if they could the fairy should revive the person. Zelda picked the fence back up, setting it back into the holes. When the fence was set back into it's original position. Zelda turned to look at the boy, before heading into the fairy fountain, the strains of the fairy fountain music harmonizing beautifully with the shimmering waterfall.
Walking towards the shimmering pool, with the triforce mark in front of the pool an a little raised platform. Standing on it, Zelda whistled the 6 note melody that was her lullaby.
With a laugh, the great fairy appeared out of the water.
Zelda bowed slightly, with the fairy taking a comfortable lounging position in midair.
"Do you want to drop your disguise?" The fairy asked playfully.
Zelda shook her head, "I have to to inquire about a cure for my companion." Zelda stated evenly. "He's been stuck in wolf form. A possible twili curse."
The fairy just looked at herself in the water below her.
"I can move the fence away and then the boy would come in." Zelda said, her voice pitch to carry.
The great Fairy didn't respond for a moment then went still, before swining her hands up, and in front of her, as if to shield herself from Zelda. "Oh, no,no-no, that's quite alright. Your friends been cursed?"
The fairy was being more helpful, good. Zelda thought smugly. "Yes. He's in wolf form."
"Have you tried the song of healing?"
Zelda calculatingly let one eyebrow rise.
"Oh, course if you had you wouldn't be here." The fairy gave a high fake laugh. "It goes like this." She sang the notes. Zelda pulled out her harp and played them.
"Just like that?"
The fairy nodded hesitantly, "Yes. Just like that."
"Thank you. You have been helpful. I hope your cure works or else I'll have to come back."
The great fairy winced.
Zelda bowed slightly then left. She'd bring wolf- Link in and that little boy if it meant getting him un-cursed.
Zelda walked back to the milk bar, finding Epona, and stroking her neck. "I'll get Link back to his usual form. Then you two can go riding alright?"
Malon came back a short while after, having gotten the payment from the milk bar and putting it into the bank. Then they headed back to the ranch. It was quiet on the way back.
Zelda lost in her thoughts, heard Link's welcome bark. Then jumped off the cart, and Link raced up and let her hug him. Zelda watched as Romai and Cermia greeted their mother, and pestered her for talks of the town.
Zelda felt Link's muzzle bump her, and looked back down. "You are a scamp." Zelda said affectingly. "I found a fairy fountain, and I think I can change you back."
Link barked happily.
Zelda snorted and rubbed his ears, "You like being a dog, don't try to deny it. You get belly rubs, and ear scratches." Link just leaned up and gave a big lick on Zelda face. She made a face, "Dog breath, dear." Link's ears went down a little, Zelda grinned cuddled his head to her chest, "But I love you anyway." Impulsively she gave him a kiss on his muzzle, ruffled the fur on the top of his head, and stood heading back to the group.
Later that day after Sheik let Malon know that someone else was going to drop by, Zelda headed into the cow barn. Wolf Link was curled up on a hay bail, he jumped down and padded over to Zelda.
Who stroked his fur head. "Ready to try?"
Link tilted his head in an adorable manner. Then walked off, nose high, then turned around, and adopted a play stance, grinning, front legs almost to the ground, and tail wagging.
Zelda shook her head, chuckling. "Now we really need to get you back to a hylian, Link."
Link sat primly, tail betraying him by wagging still.
Zelda pulled out her harp, and played the notes. Nothing happened. Zelda frowned, "That fairy said it would work."
Link tucked in his muzzle thinking, then wuoofed.
"You want me to play it again?" Zelda asked him, "If you say so." Zelda played the notes again, but this time Link howled along with them. Zelda wasn't sure how it happened, one moment he was Wolf Link, then next he was.
Zelda put her hands on her hips, as Link looked up sheepishly.
"What happened to your clothes?"
Zelda muttered as she had her back to Link, who was sewing cloth into pants. It was a screaming white color, because 'Sheik' had sacrificed some of her clothes for him. But it wasn't enough to make a shirt and pants. Her skirt that she kept was sliced up and being sewn by Link, with a very bright pink thread. The white skirt enchanted to keep it's color, made the pink stand out. It was all she had on her, and neither was willing to inconvenience Malon anymore then they had to.
Zelda heard Link make a happy sound, then a rustle of fabric.
"I think these should work." Zelda heard him turn, and slip on the pants. Her ears burned for some reason. 'I'm just making sure no on walks in on him.' She told herself sternly.
"Zelda," Link said softly, "You can turn around."
Zelda telling herself that she wasn't a coward, turned. Link was standing looking down at the pants. They were short, only up to his calf, and he wasn't wearing a shirt, hardly surprising as she only had enough fabric for the pants unless she wanted to bid her 'Sheik' disguise goodbye.
"You need a shirt." Zelda said bluntly.
Link looked up hesitant, then flashed her a smile, "It is a bit chilly."
"It's not that." Zelda headed for the door, "I'm getting you a blanket."
Link followed her, "Are the pants good though? Good think you had that extra skirt."
"Just wait here and I'll get you a blanket." Zelda left to go into the house, Link stared after her. Something was fishy.
He straining his ears, and hearing Malon answer. Then Zelda came back, and the door to the house closed and locked. "I told Malon that I was going to sleep out her to keep an eye on the cows." She tossed a blanket at Link, who caught it.
"We could sleep together." Link offered, Zelda's head whipped back, Link corrected himself, pointedly looking at the blanket, "Next to each to other." He gave a hopeful look to her. "It's not like we haven't before."
Zelda went back pointedly to another stall, "No. Your chest is a traffic hazard to women."
Link drew back puzzled, frowning, brows furrowed, that made no sense, he closed the distance. "What do you mean by that?"
"That if you went out in public and started working, especially by a road you'd cause accidents because no women could take her eyes off you." She stood, pleased with her 'nest' of blankets. Then pointedly announced, to his face, "You are a public hazard to women drivers."
He let the silence drag. Until she realized what she'd said.
When she did, because Link always liked to watch her changing expressions, this one of chagrin, he deliberately let his mouth form into a slow pleased and very male smile, "You think my chest is a traffic hazard?"
Zelda's mouth opened and closed, then she did what she always did, crossed her arms and turned her nose up. Her unspoken, 'I'm the princess and I can't believe you made me say that, so I'm pretending that I didn't and you can't change my mind otherwise.'
Link just let out a male chuckle, he crossed his arms very self assured, and very knowing. Zelda shifted.
"I know you aren't Sheik." Link said pointedly. It had the intended effect, Zelda's blue eye, grew round, then looked to the floor, Link took that chance to move towards her. Taking care to move naturally that she wouldn't bolt with guilt for deceiving him. He used a finger to lift her chin so he could look at her face but she wouldn't meet his eyes. "I'm very happy that you came along with me." He told her honestly. She hesitated and met his gaze. Link smiled, "If you are more comfortable with me as a wolf I can change back somehow."
"You were very nice as a wolf." Zelda smiled back, "You would not believe how soft your fur was."
Link chucked and his chest rumbled, he wagged or tried to wiggle his ears, it looked like he was having a fit though,"The ear scratching was real nice."
Zelda lifted her hand and scratched behind his ear. Link's head instinctively leaned into it. He leaned forward, "Do you know what else felt nice?"
Zelda speechless shoot her head. Eyes darting to his lips and back up to his eyes. That was his undoing, he leaned forward the last little bit, and felt her lips against his. He deepened the kiss when he felt her other arm snake up and join the other in pulling his head against hers.
There nice and fluffy,
Note on the ending,
So what I was going to do was have the other peoples, Raven and Leia travel through the woods and end up in the Deku forest temple. Then with extra fluff Link and Leia would find them, or they would find Zelda and Link.
Nayru would be plotting to break up the pair, and Fierce Deity would come in and argue with her, and then they both would suddenly appear in Terminia.
Raven would go to the clock tower, only to see His wife Farore and and other, very blond Hylia. Who would chastise Nayru, explain everything that happened. Nayru had gotten a tad possessed by Demise who was trying to wreck everything- the Zelda of Twilight Princess got possessed or her body did anyway, moving on. We'd have a mushy scene where more Fierce Deity and Nayru. Nayru coming clean on what she'd done and everybody forgiving her, she thought she was doing the right thing it just went a little crazy.
At that point Leia would come over with Aiden, you remember him right? Well they would be walking up hand holding and very close.
Hylia said it would be a good idea to just have weddings all at once, Raven and sage of secrets' the green goddess, renewal, Fierce Deity and Nayru marry again, Zelda and Link renewal. And everything would be happy ending all around.
And then, I saw the trailer and some game play for into the wild.
I couldn't leave it at that so then I plotted, that because Nayru was possessed for a bit, and since everything was coming together to correct all the games and timelines and what, that their had to be an explanation in this story.
Here's what I came up with. (Like my original story-lines it was needlessly complicated)
Zelda and Link lived happily ever after, Leia took the throne and Aiden ruled beside her, making the Hylian linage a Shekah predominate one. All the past game worlds combined into one and peace was restored to the land. Raven and his wife, Link's mom, lived in Holodrum/Laybrenna, Link and Zelda Ordon village. Nayru and Deity in the newly build place in twilight princess with the yeti's who's name escapes me. Yeta, and Yeto I think, yes, and Snowpeak Ruins.
But what of Zeke I hear you guys ask?
Well he's put to sleep like the original Zelda, only this time it's in the 'Into the wild's' resurrection chamber.
So he's slept for about a hundred years, and everyone else has passed on. The 'sages' and shrines were built by past sacred maidens or sages, or whatever.
And 'Calamity Ganon' is trapped in hyrule caslte- because Nayru/ Zelda was under his control/ possessed by him is keeping him leashed, and he's trying to consume/ eat the 'Hylia' part of her, like in Skyward sword.
But she's grown old or needs to maintain the seal.
Also I think that she might be sleeping beauty style and her sleep is keeping Calamity Ganon stuck in the castle. But then what would she eat if awake? The castle is stone so unless there is a courtyard or something.
Since you all were waiting so long for this I had to finish it or tell you guys the ending. Thank you all so much.
If you haven't seen the trailer or game play for 'Zelda into the wild' I highly recommend it. The only downside is that it's coming out in 2017, which is awesome if it weren't so far away. Who knows maybe it's to get release January 1st in 2017?
We can only hope.
Thanks again guys. May the Master sword and the legend of Zelda guide your fates!
