"So, as you've no doubt noticed, we seem to have been invaded by… a pyramid." Chancellor Sheppard explained from his seat, facing the gather key-bearers in his office.

"That much is obvious." Zane said, though he meant no harm. "The question is… is it a Shadow Rider?"

"Giant pyramid suddenly grows in the middle of the school in a matter of seconds?" Bastion asked, his arms folded casually between him. "What else could it be?!"

"Uh… a royal tourist?" Jaden asked, only for everyone save Zane to sigh at his joke. "Oh come on guys! You have to admit, it is pretty cool! And I've always wondered what it'd be like to meet a pharaoh! That is what pyramids usually have in them right? Pharaohs?"

"No, dweeb!" Chazz snapped. "Everyone knows that pyramids have treasure in them! Which makes me wonder why whoever put it here chose here! Everyone knows that this place has nothing of value in it! Well, save me and Alexis of course!"

Alexis sighed. "Or maybe Chazz, the Sacred Beast cards? That is why we were given the Spirit Keys in the first place you know, to protect them? They're probably the most important treasure this school has!"

"I'm afraid you're all-right, or to be more specific, half right!" Chancellor Sheppard said sheepishly. "You see Chazz, Jaden, pyramids hold both treasures and pharaohs! History states that the pharaohs had the pyramids built to protect their bodies and their material possessions after they passed into the afterlife, and as for your guess, Alexis – while it's true the Sacred Beasts are an important possession of Duel Academy, never forget that it is the students who are treasured most!"

Wisteria snorted. "While that's a heartwarming statement, Chancellor, it doesn't tell us anything about the threat we now face!"

"You shut your mouth you!" Doctor Crowler snapped from beside him, no doubt still peeved about his loss at the girl's hands. "I'm sure the Chancellor was just about to get to that!"

"Well, yes." Sheppard said, sweating at the interaction between the two. "You see, just as pyramids are said to hold treasures… so too are they said to be stolen from. It was common for grave-robbers to find secret entrances into the pyramids in search of the glorious riches the pharaohs possessed in their lifetimes, but the interiors are always filled with such various traps and obstacles that few, if any, ever made their way back alive! Why, the last successful venture I can recall was when old Solomon Muto dug up that old Puzzle the champion wore! Hm… or was it Pegasus getting that gold eye he used to have? I'm afraid I'm not really sure these days!" Sheppard laughed as he finished his explanation, and the group turned to stare out the window toward the pyramid.

"Well…" Zane said, "At least we don't have to worry about finding the entrance."

That much was true. The opening was staring them right in the face – a large, dark space sat at the bottom of the pyramid facing the school's Main Building, as if daring everyone to take a crack at solving its numerous riddles.

"Heh, well then, what are we waiting for?!" Jaden asked. "Let's go get our adventure on!"

Learning to Duel

Arc Five – Chapter Two

The Swift and the Strong

"Did you really just say that slacker?!" Chazz asked, shaking his head in disbelief.

"H-Huh?! What's wrong Chazz? Don't tell me you're scared of a little risk-taking?!" Jaden asked in surprise.

"Of course not slacker! I'm talking about your complete lack of sense in the humor department! Get your adventure on? More like "get your lame on!" Am I right?!" Chazz barked.

"That's enough you two! You guys can trade jokes later. Right now, it's time to decide which of us are going in there." Alexis said.

"Hm." Zane hummed in agreement.

"I'm going." Konami said, still weak from his earlier duels.

"The hell you are." Wisteria replied in a no-nonsense tone of voice, right before folding her arms as if daring for argument.

"As much as I hate to agree with her, Wisteria's right." Bastion said. "You're still weak from your duel with Nightshroud and Camula! You should sit this one out."

"Don't tell me, she's talked to you already?" Konami breathed. "That's not fair, Bastion!"

"Fair or not, it's what has to happen." Alexis said. "You're in no condition to be straining yourself right now, especially if this pyramid has traps like Chancellor Sheppard says! It's for you own good."

"Oh, come on!" Jaden said, slapping Konami lightly on the back. "Let the guy come! It's not like he'll slow anyone down, right Konami?" he glanced to where Konami had just been, only to find the boy drooling on the ground, having collapsed from the light shove. "Whoa! You alright there pal?!"

"That settles it." Zane said. "He's not coming."

"What?! Hold on!" Jaden said, still trying to stick up for the boy.

Wisteria rolled her eyes. "Well, if you're so eager to stick up for him, then you can stay behind too! You know, to make sure he doesn't go running off to do something stupid, like follow us!"

Jaden's eyes went wide. "What?! No way!"

"Heh, sucks for you, slacker!" Chazz said with a grin. "But don't worry, I'll tell you all about how I beat up that big bad Shadow Rider while you were playing babysitter!"

"Actually Chazz, you'll be staying behind as well!" Bastion said.

"What?! And who went and made you boss, nerd?!" Chazz asked.

"I did." Alexis said, deciding to step in. "Besides, do you really want to leave someone like Jaden in charge of keeping watch over anything?"

That statement, coupled with the fact that Alexis was the one speaking, brought Chazz to heel. The boy grit his teeth in annoyance and turned to glare at his two fellow Slifers, before crying out to the world in despair. It was quite dramatic, but since it was Chazz causing the drama, in the end, no one cared.

"That settles it then." Zane said, repeating his earlier statement but with different meaning. "Then the group to enter the pyramid will be…"

Alexis, Wisteria, Bastion, and Zane.

"H-Hey… hang on a second." Chazz said, noticing something. "Isn't that group a little…?"

Indeed. Obelisks and Ras. In other words, they were cutting the "slack" loose. Konami had noticed this, but his current situation made it impossible to retort.

Well played, he thought instead, clenching his hand in frustration. Well played indeed.

"Well then, good luck!" Doctor Crowler said eagerly, rubbing his hands together at the near-perfect team that had been decided. Near-perfect, in the fact that it held his second-most loathed student. "Try not to die! Bring back goodies!"

The four left the room, and as he watched them go, Konami thought he heard Bastion speak one last time.

"Not quite sure what he expects us to find in there, but maybe it'd be a good idea to bring something back. We might get extra credit."

The various responses were lost as the group disappeared, and Konami heard Chazz begin to mutter and curse out from above him.

"Annnnnd they're gone. Good job slacker, now I'm stuck here looking after you two!" Chazz snapped. He glanced at Konami and rolled his eyes. "Oh get up already! You look pathetic, even for a Slifer!"

He grabbed Konami by the uniform and struggled to pull him up – so much so, that Jaden wound up needing to help too.

"Jeez Konami! Have you been snacking on one too many Grilled Cheese Sandwiches? You're nearly as heavy as Chumley is, and that's saying something!" Jaden exclaimed.

"I'm not fat." Konami retorted.

"Maybe not, but you are heavy." Chazz complained. "Bah! Forget it! I'm out of here! There's no way I'm hanging around you Slifers more than I need to! The Chazz has more important things to do! Like finishing homework! At least… until Alexis gets back! When that happens, well…"

Having nothing more to say, Chazz giggled quietly to himself and also left the room, leaving Konami and Jaden alone with the two older men, only for them to soon follow suit. After all, what else where they gonna do? Hang with Sheppard and Crowler?

No way. No way in hell.

"Whelp, guess it's just you and me then partner!" Jaden said. "But hey, that won't be so bad, will it? We can head back to the dorms, play some cards with Sy and Chumley, and hey! Maybe we'll even finish the duel we never got to complete!"

"No. Sorry, but I'm going after them." Konami said, stating a pure and simple fact.

"Huh? But they said you should hang back and recover a bit!" Jaden replied, blinking in confusion. "You don't mean you're gonna ignore all that, do you?"

Konami paused, and turned to stare at Jaden seriously. The two said nothing for some time, studying each other carefully before coming to a decision.

"Yes." Konami said simply, and Jaden laughed.

"That's the spirit!" Jaden shouted enthusiastically. "But if I'm honest, you do look a little pale there. You sure you're gonna be alright heading in after the others? I mean… you can barely stand!"

"It's fine… as long as I have someone to piggyback off of." Konami grunted, mostly in annoyance at his own weakness.

"Well, if you say so! But if it's a piggyback you're looking for, then there's only one person to go to – and that person is-!"

Chumley.

The big, bulky roommate of Slifer's resident slacker, Jaden Yuki himself. Chumley Huffington was an abundance of Grilled Cheese and loafing, and unsurprisingly, he carried quite a bit of strength behind that belly of his as well. If anything would be able to function while giving Konami a piggyback, it was him, and that was why Konami was unsurprised when they would up in front of Jaden's room, knocking on the old wooden door that looked as if it'd fall off its hinges at any given moment.

"Chumley, you in there?!" Jaden asked, finally deciding to forgo the knocking and just open the door as he should have from the get-go. "Syrus? I'm coming in!"

He turned his key and opened the door, only to find the entire place empty. Well, almost empty. On the upper bunk, a giant mass of pillows and bed sheets sat comfortably, slowly rising and falling in perfect intervals. Jaden grinned sheepishly at the mass, and quickly approached it, paying no mind to the stumbling Konami behind him. With a loud, boisterous yell, Jaden suddenly leapt to the top of the bunk and grinned, pulling the moving bed sheets back to reveal… Chumley.

"Hey there Chumley! What're you doing still sleeping, and have you seen Syrus?!"

The sudden noise startled the larger boy, and with a frightened cry Chumley nearly fell from the bed, accidentally shoving Jaden back to the ground.

"Yikes! Talk about a rude awakening! What's the big idea, Chumley?!" Jaden asked, rubbing his backside in mild pain.

"Sorry Jaden," Chumley said, rubbing his eyes awake and throwing his legs out from under the covers. "You should have known better than to wake me up like that. And I was having such a good dream about Grilled Cheese too."

"Aw, no worries! You can eat all you like down at the cafeteria, but before all that, have you seen Syrus? Konami here and I were planning on heading into that pyramid that showed up, and I'm pretty sure the little guy would wanna tag along!"

"Pyramid? Syrus…?" Chumley asked, rubbing his eyes once more and yawning. "Now that you mention it… before I went to sleep I remember Syrus talking about that. He said he was gonna go spend some time with Zane, or something."

"WHAT?!" Jaden exclaimed, yelling with a shocked expression, making both Konami and Chumley wince. "You mean Syrus got to go inside before I did?!"

"Huh? What's the problem?"

"There's no time to explain! Well, there is, but we'll do it on the way!" Jaden said, quickly climbing up to push Chumley out the bunk. "Right now though, we need you to carry Konami! He's still weak from those Shadow Duels he's been in, so until we get where we're going, he'll need a bit of a hand!"

"What? Well, okay. But only if he promises to pay for my food later." Chumley said, knowing how hard carrying someone could be.

Jaden turned to Konami expectantly, and the boy sighed. "Fine, I can do that much," Konami said with a shrug, "but, that means you can't go overboard either."

"That's fine. As long as I get my Grilled Cheese, I'll be happy." Chumley said, and he allowed Konami to crawl onto his back. Grunting at the sudden weight increase, Chumley struggled for a moment, before leaning upward and sighing in relief. He had him. "Now then," he said with a pant, glancing between the boy on his back and Jaden curiously. "Where were we going again?"

"The Pyramid, Chumley." Jaden replied. "You know, big, pointy, showed up in the middle of the school just a few hours ago?"

"Oh! That Pyramid! Right!" Chumley nodded, and he yawned once more before leaving the dorm with Konami in tow. "Hang on Konami, because the Chumley Express is on the move!"

"Slow down Chumley, don't forget I'm coming too!" Jaden said, trailing after the pair as they sped down the stairs.

Together, the three made their way toward the Pyramid, never realizing a pair of eyes down the hall had watched them go.

When they finally arrived, the first thing they noted was the entrance. It was dark, darker than anything Konami had ever seen… well, at least since Camula's castle anyway. Which was… a few days ago? Week? Konami still didn't know how much time he'd spent unconscious in the infirmary. He really needed to stop doing that by the way…

"Well then," Jaden's words brought him back to reality, "ready to make history?"

"Uh, I don't think that's how it works, Jaden." Chumley said.

"Chumley's right. People have been going into pyramids since ancient times." Konami reminded him. "Chancellor Sheppard said as much."

"Yeah, but this'll be the first time anyone went in one on Duel Academy and lived to tell about it!" Jaden said enthusiastically.

"Not if Zane and the others finish before we do." Konami said, again reminding Jaden to the fact that they weren't the first ones going in.

"Heh, then I guess that means we should get a move on doesn't it?!" Jaden grinned. "Can't let Syrus get the drop on us! Let's go guys! Into the pyramid, where glory and riches await!"

From within the dark entrance, a series of torches seemed to light themselves at Jaden's words, but the group paid no heed. Taking their first step inside, they heard their footsteps echo throughout the pyramid, and trail down into the dim light quietly.

"T-Talk about spooky." Chumley muttered, his legs shivering as he followed Jaden further inside.

"Don't worry about it. Jaden won't let anything happen to you." Konami said from behind him, still being carried like dead weight.

"Aw come on! You guys are talking like something bad will happen!" Jaden laughed, scratching the back of his head sheepishly. "It's just a pyramid!" he leaned over, pressing a hand to the dusty walls. "See? Nothing to be afraid of-"

His words were cut short. The wall he touched suddenly gave way, spinning around and dragging him along with it. With a startled cry, the Kuriboh-haired Slifer found himself shuttled away into a different, darker hallway, leaving a frightened Chumley and blank-faced Konami alone.

For a moment, neither of the two said anything. Then…

"JADEN!" Chumley cried, running forward and pounding on the wall valiantly, nearly dropping Konami in the process. Despite his heavy blows however, the wall did not give way. It was as if the pyramid itself was trying to keep them separated, something that should not have surprised anyone present.

"Ow…" Jaden's voice said distantly through the wall.

"Jaden, are you alright?" Konami asked. "Anything broken?"

"No, I don't think so, but man did that surprise me!" Jaden's voice replied; Konami could almost see the boy laughing. "Anyway, it doesn't look like I'll be able to come back the same way I got in. I guess this means we'll have to go our separate ways for now, huh?"

"H-Huh?" Chumley asked, legs shaking once more. "B-But uh… are you sure that's a good idea Jaden? I mean… splitting up never works out in the movies!"

"Oh don't be such a worrywart Chumley! Everything will be just fine, you'll see!" Jaden said. "Anyway, I think I see a few different paths down here I can take, so I'll see you guys in a bit! Hey, who knows? Maybe by the time we meet up again I'll have already found the gold, and the Shadow Rider!"

With another giddy laugh, Jaden's voice began to fade, giving Konami the distinct impression that he was running away. With that determined…

"Well, you heard him Chumley." Konami said decisively. "Let's get a move on, or do you not want that Grilled Cheese?"

The promise of food sparked Chumley into action, and the two trekked on, into the darkness.

"Be sure not to touch anything." Konami said from atop the larger boy's back. "We don't want to wind up like Jaden, or worse."

"Y-Yeah." Chumley agreed with a gulp, wondering what other traps lay hidden in the pyramid. It had already revealed one of its potentially many secret doors. Where there spike traps and lava pits too? Falling ceilings and smashing walls? Maybe even a fire-breathing dragon at the end that you needed to jump over and drop into the aforementioned lava pit – no wait, wasn't that Mario?

"Chumley, turn right here." Konami said, and Chumley obeyed.

For some time they traversed the seemingly empty pyramid, coming into contact with neither souls nor traps. It was as if the place was devoid of life whatsoever; the only sound accompanying them belonging to Chumley's own, weary footsteps.

"You know…" Chumley said after a moment, turning another corner as he spoke to his passenger. "This really isn't as bad as I thought it would be. I mean, sure, there was that scare at the beginning, but at this rate, we'll meet back up with Jaden in no time!"

"Ugh…" Konami winced, and his grip on Chumley tightened.

"H-Huh?! Are you alright Konami?" Chumley asked in a hurry, turning to stare at the boy in fright.

"You just did something unforgivable… Chumley…" Konami muttered, trembling on the boy's back. "Don't you know that it's words like that that get people jinxed?!"

Indeed, at that moment everything started to go wrong. Chumley took another slow step forward, unknowingly pressing his foot down upon a hidden switch. His eyes blinked as he suddenly felt the floor beneath his foot descend with him, and the sound of roaring chains suddenly echoed from behind him, prompting both he and his passenger to turn around.

"Uh oh!"

"Move it Chumley, dodge to the right!"

Chumley dodged to the left, but it didn't matter. As long as he was out of harm's way – a series of spiked chains passed inches in front of the boy's face, and he felt his face go blue in shock. Staggering backward several feet in surprise, the passageway they were just in suddenly closed off, leaving them stranded in the hallway Chumley had just stumbled into.

Of course, their fight was far from over. More sounds echoed from up ahead, and as Chumley turned to face it, he felt his expression turn even grimmer.

A series of swinging blades sat waiting, cleaving and ripping through the air with ease. A system of pendulums, threatening to rip through the pair's flesh if they were even a second late in moving.

"Chumley…"

Chumley looked bleakly toward Konami and felt his expression fall even further. He was actually expected to go through that?

The sound of the walls suddenly deciding to close in answered his question for him.

"Move Chumley! Move!" Konami shouted, and despite his fear the boy did – or maybe, it was because of his fear. Being squashed alive certainly wasn't how Chumley wanted to leave the world, and he made it known with the terrible cries he roared as he leapt from brick to brick, avoiding the swinging torture machines all the while.

"What is this?! It was so nice just a moment ago!" Chumley screamed, leaping through the final obstacle into another hallway.

"That's what… I was saying." Konami panted, tired even though he did no work himself. "You never say things like that, idiot!"

"Well…" Chumley breathed. "At least it's over now… right?"

Konami averted his eyes from the boy to scan the upcoming hallway. It was quiet, like most of them had been prior to Chumley's mistake. Too quiet.

"Maybe." Konami allowed. "But you should probably be on your guard here on out."

Chumley nodded in agreement, and the two continued on their not-so-merry way.

-GX-

And now? Commercial Time! INDUSTRIAL ILLUSIONS - Changing Tomorrow. And now, back to your scheduled programming.

-GX-

"Uh… Konami?"

The voice belonged to Chumley, and it was a welcome distraction from the endless torches that seemed to line every hallway the duo seemed to traverse. Konami glanced downward toward his large addressor.

"What is it, Chumley?" he asked, slightly curious as to just what made the boy break the comfortable silence they had been in seconds prior.

"Uh… haven't we been here before?"

The question made Konami blink. Examining his surroundings thoroughly, he realized that if he were being honest, he had no clue as to whether or not they were going in circle. Save for the ones with unique traps, each hall looked practically identical to the others. There was nothing that really made any of them stand out.

"I don't know. Have we?" he questioned, raising a brow curiously.

"Well… I'm pretty sure we passed this torch at least a few times now…" Chumley muttered, gesturing loosely to one of the twinkling lights on the side of the wall. "See how it's flickers a bit differently than the others? I noticed it the first time, and most of the other halls didn't have it. Not sure if it's just a rare effect, or if the path we were taking is like stale cheese."

Konami groaned. If Chumley was correct, then that meant they'd been going in circles for the past half hour. Why couldn't he have said something earlier? People would usually think to speak up immediately if they thought something was wrong. Was Chumley so focused on Grilled Cheese it hadn't occurred to him until just now…?

"Darn it Chumley," Konami sighed, "alright. That's fine, this just means that we'll have to take the flaming pillar route after all."

"What? No way! I'm not going down there! Not even for Grilled Cheese!" Chumley shouted, horrified.

Konami clucked his tongue in annoyance. "Well, what's your plan then? Keep going around in circles until you starve to death?"

"No! But… maybe there's one of those secret passage things that Jaden used!" Chumley replied. "You know, like a door that leads to a shortcut or something?"

"Possibly… but you know, they're called "secret" for a reason. It's not like you're just going to stumble onto one." Konami drawled.

Chumley took another step, and mistakenly activated a hidden switch. The familiar echo of a trap being set up roared through the hallway, and Konami resisted the urge to face-palm. "Oh you've got to be kidding me. Chumley-"

As he glanced upward, his words died in his throat. For approaching them was not a trap, at least, not any that Konami had ever seen before. Indeed, the pale apparition that hovered before them could only be described as one thing, and it was something that Chumley feared more than anything.

"G-G-G-G-G…" Konami heard Chumley sputter, the poor boy incapable of even forming a complete word at the being's appearance.

Or maybe he could.

"GHOST!" Chumley cried loudly, straightening his back and nearly dropping Konami in sheer panic. He began swirling around madly, attempting to locate any form of escape that may have existed. All the while, the apparition drew ever closer to them, slowly, cautiously, raising its sickened, pale hand….

"There!" Chumley shouted, pressing his body against the strange torch he had pointed out earlier. A clicking sound erupted from the other side, and both he and Konami cried out as the wall gave way, and swallowed them whole.

And then they were falling.

Trapped on a stony slide that fell farther and farther into the abyss, with no end in sight. The two boys cried out in surprise and fear at the sudden change in venue, their bodies shifting and rolling in unison with the slide's curvy turns.

With a sudden shout, the slide suddenly split different directions, and Chumley cried out, his superior size incapable of changing direction as quickly as he would have liked. With a horrified cry he fell onto a different path than Konami, leaving both of them to venture in two separate directions; alone.

"Chumley!" Konami shouted, watching his fellow Slifer disappear into the abyss with his chosen slide. "Damn! He's out of reach!" he turned his head back to the front, watching as the slide dipped and increased his speed. Adjusting his body so his legs were at the front once more, Konami squinted his eyes to reduce the tunnel vision, and waited for the horrible ending that awaited him.

An ending… with women.

"Oof!"

"Ow!"

"Ouch!"

The slide suddenly came to an end, depositing Konami safely into a lower level of the pyramid. Descending from the roof, he had expected a rather sudden and harsh collision, but given the circumstances, he had to admit that the floor was quite softer than he expected.

His hands twitched, pressing against what felt like soft flesh.

It seems the floor was rather squishy too.

"K-Konami…-kun." A feminine voice muttered out weakly beneath him, and Konami blinked.

Glancing downward, he found himself rather awkwardly on top of not one, but two women, both of whom were unmistakably familiar.

"Y-Yuma?!" Konami shouted as he staggered back from the girl, aghast. "And… Blair?!"

The two girls grunted in annoyance at the sudden turn of events, and as they turned to face Konami, the boy realized that by coming there, he may have made a terrible mistake.

Chapter Fifty Two

END

He copped a feel! The punishment is…?! Find out, next time, on Yu-Gi-Oh Tag Force: Learning to Duel!

And don't forget to leave me your thoughts! If Konami wound up with Yuma and Blair, just what happened to Chumley? And what of the other key-bearers who entered the pyramid before they did?! Did they wind up activating traps as well? Maybe we'll find out, in the next chapter, of Yu-Gi-Oh Tag Force: Learning to Duel!

But first…

The wind was howling.

It was the first tournament. The first Final. How he'd managed to get so far with a deck made of scrap he did not know. But it didn't matter. He knew the scope of the deck's power.

Summoning using special context, basic strategy, Spells, Traps, Monsters; all accumulated cards.

A Deck he'd made from tossed cards, the embodiment of his own self-worth in this crapsack world.

The idea of friendship, bonds, and understanding was useless to him. Correction. Not useless; but nothing. The concept didn't even exist in his eyes. As always, he fought alone.

He stepped into the arena.

The wind died down.

There were about thirty meters to his opponent.

It'd take them less than a minute to cross that space. In other words…

The Final Duel would begin in the next sixty seconds.

His ace, "Tyr, the Vanquishing Warlord" wasn't usable.

That woman's Deck and his were different. He lacked the necessary number of Fairies to use it.

He can only summon what Konami Kodo has the capability of summoning.

If he was to win the Duel with an ace, then he would have to search within his Trunk for a card best suited for his Deck and replace it.

But be warned.

Changing the Deck is a two-edged sword.

If you do it once, you will –

"_"

He held his breath and opened his Trunk.

He only needed to understand the cards he used.

He already knew the precautions.

He had to move forward.

He had to go beyond those rules to defeat that man-

"- Tyrant, Dragon."

He stared at it.

He saw through its glistening orange border.

He opened his left hand and grasped the smooth paper skin of the monster that had yet to appear.

An extraordinary dragon.

Alone, Konami Kodo could not handle that weight.

But – his Deck could definitely release its full potential.

"Ah-"

It breaks.

Tyr, the Vanquishing Warlord crumples.

The card breaks, not being able to withstand its sudden change in venue. It's unsightly like Kuriboh hair.

"Konami Kodo! Two Points!"

There's no need to worry.

will make up the lost points.

He will give his undivided attention to beating him for certain. Then that woman will definitely acknowledge his strength.

"Ho…? So it's you."

His foe notices him.

His hostility now had a focus.

Recognizing his presence as a threat, the foe's eyes move.

They're like ominous lights.

The foe gives a cold laugh and moves to greet his enemy.

-Powerful warriors.

The great foe is rude, but his Deck is the same.

He's still fighting his battles with the same warriors.

He is blind and arrogant, his life has no meaning, and his reasons are pathetic, but he's still fighting his battles proudly.

Twenty Seconds

"_"

The approaching foe won't stop with the Duel, and normal combat is useless against him.

Normal fighting won't do the trick.

He can't beat his foe unless he wins against him here, surrounded by the masses.

Therefore-

"_Dragon's Gunfire."

Three in his Deck.

He uses all three Dragon Spells in his Trunk and slams them in his Deck.

Forty Seconds

His foe stands before him. His Duel Disk is raised.

Blood and fire.

His foe steps forward, and he steps to confront him by also stepping forward.

Axe Raider, Chain Thrasher, Combo Fighter, Combo Master, D.D Warrior, Dark Blade, Gauntlet Warrior, and Hayabusa Knight. He knows the eight most used Warriors-

"I declare – Ninth Turn Victory."

He ignored the roaring sound of the crowd using his Red Hat-!

Sixty Seconds

"Time to Duel, Konami!" the foe roared, and the Duel Disks glowed with power.

"Bring it on, Capcom!"

And so, the battle continued.
