"Hey Cyrus, ready for this semester to be over?" Olivia said casually as she walked into his office.

"Im ready to stop worrying about you and Romeo from destroying yourselves!" Cyrus returned, not realizing there was a child behind Olivia who gave him a look. Thankfully Scarlett was too busy watching all the activity around her to notice what Cyrus had said.

"You have a sticky tiny person behind you." Cyrus said, as if it were possible she didn't already realize that.

"Yes, I know, her name is Scarlett, Scar this is Cyrus Beane, Dr. Beane is one of mine and Fitz's professors." Olivia told her, without the tone people often use to speak to children.

"Nice to meet you sir." Scarlett stuck her little hand out, clearly manners wouldn't be an issue Olivia thought. Cyrus hesitated, but shook her hand.

Olivia quickly got Scarlett settled on the couch with her coloring book and enough crayons to open a day care. As soon as Cyrus got Olivia away from the child he pulled her to the other side of the room.

"Fitz has a kid?" Cyrus asked harshly.

"No." Olivia said plainly, but didn't give him any more information.

"Well if she's yours, she's Fitz's because she's him in a female miniature." Cyrus was right, Scarlett looked almost exactly like Fitz, they had the same color and shape eyes, same full lower lip and almost non existent top lip, they had the same color hair, though Scarlett's curls were tighter, and her skin was tanner, she was a mini Fitz and Olivia loved her all the more for it.

"She isn't our child. She's Fitz's sister."

"Wait, his Mom? Oh god ew!" Cyrus said grossed out by the idea of a middle-aged woman having a child in prison.

"Ugh no, Big Jerry, before he died he impregnated one of the legal aids that worked for him, when he died she took off and Fitz just found out about her." Olivia said in a hushed whisper, unsure how much Scarlett knew about her parentage, but sure this wasn't the way for her to find out.

"So shes visiting for the holidays?" He asked, still not sure why this little sticky person had invaded his office with Olivia.

"No, she's staying."

"Is this some made up story because Fitz knocked up some slut in high school and youre too proud to just admit youre not going to be his first baby momma?" Cyrus asked in his normally nasty tone, causing Olivia to react angrily.

"You damn well know better if Fitz had a child he would support it and love it like he is doing with his sister, I repeat Sister! He would claim his child and I would stand behind him because I love him and anything that is a part of him. Don't you dare disrespect him or our relationship like that again in front of me. I know you have problems with us, fine, whatever, it ends now." Olivia threatened, her voice still a hushed calm.

"Fine, whatever, here's your test, Ill be in the lounge. Leave it on my desk." He said as he walked away too proud to apologize.

It didn't take Olivia long before she was done and taking Scarlett back to the apartment. She had an odd sense of closure as she headed away from campus, finishing the last barrier holding her and Fitz apart, walking to the apartment she lived in alone for the last time. Scarlett ran a head of her straight to Boo and Zorro who were both sleeping on the floor near Huck's feet while he typed away on the computer. The dog raised his large head and greeted Scarlett than headed to Olivia. She scratched behind his ears and made eye contact with Huck.

"Sweets will you go through the rooms and make sure we packed everything that's left?" Olivia asked, already knowing the answer, but she needed the room and telling a seven year old that didn't seem like the most appropriate.

"Sure Livvie." She bounced away with Boo in tow.

"What is it?" Olivia asked him.

"They want a meeting."

"Who's they?"

"Michael and Claudia. I assume Abby and Harrison will be there as well."

"We request meetings now?"

"They know they hurt you, they're trying to respect you and your family." This caused Olivia to pause.

"They are my family, you are my family." Olivia insisted.

"We are, but you've got your own thing here Liv and were proud of you, but because of that things are different."

"They didn't hurt me by disrespecting Fitz and I, that's the thing they don't get. That man defended you guys so hard, but I cant get over how much like Dad Michael was standing there just offering up Cammie as bait. It freaked me out to watch everyone just sit and watch. That's not okay. He cant turn into Dad, Huck you cant let him." Olivia started to get emotional. Huck put his arm awkwardly around her, his family never had a problem with contact, but for Huck it just wasn't his thing.

"We will be over tonight to help decorate, make sure you cook something or the animals will complain."

Olivia laughed and some how things were a little bit better. Scarlett came out soon after and sat down with a book without a word.

"I'm going to get going, I'll see you tonight." He hugged Olivia whispering, "I wont let him turn into Eli, I promise." He gave Scarlett a fist bump, prompting a giggle from the little girl.

Olivia caught sight of the time and realized Fitz would be home any time soon and they would be shutting the door on this phase of her life. She couldn't regret it entirely as it brought her to Fitz, but the rest of her time in the apartment was mostly spent with loneliness and guilt.

"Are you excited to move into the house?" She asked Scarlett.

"Yeah I can't wait to have all those book shelves!" Scarlett said excitedly. They had offered to make her a library in lieu of a playroom, but she insisted she wanted them in her room saying "most kids have stuffed animals, I have books and I want them all in my room." They had easily agreed and ordered several book shelves to wrap around the walls of her room, she didn't have enough books to fill them yet, but they all knew she would, especially after Christmas.

"Do you miss your old house?" Olivia asked concerned. Scarlett had been fine, occasionally sad and she didn't want to talk about her Mom, but overall she had been doing really well given what she had been through.

"Not really." She shrugged not wanting to talk about it.

"You know you can talk about it with me of Fitz, even Abby or Claudia even Huck and Michael, Cammie too once you meet her. We all love you and want to make sure you're okay."

"Its nice to have people, before I only had Quinn and my Mom, mostly Quinn." Scarlett didn't elaborate, but having grown up with a distant Mom Olivia didn't need her to.

"There's something I used to do before Fitz lived with me, we should do it before he gets home." Olivia said excitedly trying to change the depressing atmosphere.

"Okay." Scarlett said somewhat nervously, reminding Olivia of Fitz when he didn't really want to do something but was just going along with her.

"Dance party." Olivia jumped up and turned up the iHome in the kitchen, she put her phone on shuffle. The first song that came on was Shut up and Dance by Walk the Moon. Olivia immediately went back to Scarlett and pulled her up and threw her hands over her hand and began bouncing and dancing to the music. After a few seconds of hesitation Scarlett finally joined and started spinning and dancing around the room. Olivia blasted the music, unconcerned about her neighbors, as they wouldn't be anymore in about two hours. Boo and Zorro looked on as the two spun around bouncing and giggling to the music.

A few songs later they were lost singing and dancing to The Long Way Down by Robert DeLong, they didn't even hear Fitz walk into the apartment, shocked by all the noise, but breaking out in a wide smile upon seeing his girls enjoying themselves. At nearly the same time Fitz walked in the song changed to Work Song by Hozier, Olivia was about to change it when he decided to make them aware of his presence.

"Wait Livvie, this is our song." Olivia nearly jumped hearing Fitz, as she hadn't realized he walked in. She smirked at him, nearly every love song made him declare it their song, but it didn't bother Olivia, she loved that he thought about them when listening to such beautiful lyrics.

She went into his arms anyway and they swayed to the music as Scarlett tried to get Boo to dance with her, but he wasn't too interested in getting off the couch. Fitz whispered the lyrics to the song in her ear as she closed her eyes and rested her head on his chest.

Boys workin' on empty Is that the kinda way to face the burning heat? I just think about my baby I'm so full of love I could barely eat There's nothing sweeter than my baby I'd never want once from the cherry tree 'Cause my baby's sweet as can be She give me toothaches just from kissin' me

When, my, time comes around Lay me gently in the cold dark earth No grave can hold my body down I'll crawl home to her

They entwined their fingers and rested their joined hands on Fitz's chest while Olivia's free hands wrapped itself around his back and into his hair. Fitz let his hand rest on her lower back, the tips of his fingers spanning her entire back. She leaned up to kiss the part of his jaw that she could reach and began singing with him.

Too soon the song changed giving them a minute of silence.

"We did it, Livvie, were free. We can go on normal dates and do normal things and not worry everyday. You did it." He smiled down at her.

"No, we cant be normal, but we can go out to the grocery store and not pretend like we ran into each other on dates." She smiled right back, so intensely relieved she almost couldn't believe it was reality.

Soon the next song came on and it was back to something with a faster tempo and Olivia and Fitz separated a bit and began to dance until they realized what song was about to come on, before the opening lines of Or Nah by SoMo came on they both sprinted to turn it off finally drawing Scarlett's attention, who was holding an annoyed looking Zorro and dancing.

"What happened?" She asked.

"Uhm we just really wanna get to the new house little bit." Fitz covered the back of his neck turning red.

"Okay." She shrugged at his weirdness and went off to get the rest of her things.

"Close call, maybe we should make a Scarlett approved playlist." Fitz suggested not really wanting his seven-year-old sister to hear some of the music they regularly enjoyed.

"I'm more worried about making sure we finish the rest of that song tonight after everyone is in bed." Olivia told him a bit huskily causing Fitz's breath to hitch as he watched her saunter away to get their things.

Once everything was packed away Olivia took one last look at her apartment before closing the door, in the walls she saw a lot of loneliness and regret, but she also saw the imprint of her bookshelf where all the material proof of Fitz's love for her lived, she saw the kitchen where she finally accepted that her grandmother didn't hate her and it was okay to cook, she saw the table that was full of family and friends less than a month ago for Thanksgiving. As she shut the door she said goodbye to the place where she had grown so much, she walked hand and hand with the love of her life to start fresh together.
