Sorry, for the mistake. I accidently uploaded a Gen Next story to Conversations.
So to make up for it I quickly wrote this one to replace it before anyone notices.
I hope.
Spektor: Thank you for understanding. There are many writers on here that do specialize in Noex. I'm actually more interested in HOLIX. And I agree. Six needs to grow a backbone and tell Holiday!
Raven: After getting many requests for a season 7, I'll see what I can come up with but I'm going to have to do it during the summer as per my tradition. I feel like with each subsequent season fewer and fewer people are reading or at least commenting/favoring/following. It's a bit discouraging but for the few who continue to do so, thank you.
Double Vision
"How are the modifications coming along, Holiday?"
"Almost done. Rex'll love these."
"Looks like he already does, because of all the gadgets you put in it."
"Well, he loved the first pair since they were from you."
"Ahem, well, yes. I don't really remember much about that."
"No, but I do. It was very amusing. I was very surprised that you even thought of that. Usually, you would tell Rex to suck it up."
"Well, it is hard to fight with gunk in your eyes."
…
"Why are you laughing?"
"That's exactly what you said when I asked you about the present."
"…Hmm, maybe I'm not so different."
"No, you do show signs of being the old you, every once in a while."
"… So interesting day."
"Oh yes, we could have had a major pandemic on our hands today."
"It must have been serious since you decided to work with Black Knight. You were so angry at her I was sure you'd rip her head off if you could."
"Sometimes the good of the world is more important than a petty grudge… But she better watch out if we ever meet in a dark alleyway. Plus she's not as clever as she thinks she is."
"I'm glad you know what your priorities are… unlike Rex. He needs to get his head in the game if we're going to be one step ahead of Providence."
"I know, but like I said those goggles were special because you gave it to him."
"I realized that, but it was still a distraction."
"No worse than Bobo blowing the fuse on the truck, leaving me stranded."
"Between those two, our jobs are more difficult."
"Now you're starting to get why the old Six was the way he was. You had to put up with both of them."
"So you're saying they wore me down?"
"Well, we did establish once that you were human despite your best efforts to mask it."
"You seem to find that amusing."
"It is. One day I was annoyed at you…"
"When are you not annoyed at me?"
"Very funny, you use to say that to me too. But this time the reason I was annoyed was legitimate…"
"So all the other times were invalid?"
"No! Stop smirking. Do you want to hear the story or not?"
"By all means, continue."
"Thank you. Anyway, I was annoyed that you didn't listen to my suggestion for the situation we were in. It caused all sorts of problems. But you admitted that you didn't follow my advice because you were tired. You even apologized for it."
"I did?"
"You did."
"It must have been a doozy."
"We lost the Great Wall of China."
"That incident?"
"Yes, and the moral of the story mister is always listen to me."
"I think I already got that."
"Good. Then we won't have a problem."
"...You know since Rex is out on his date and lord knows where Bobo went… it's just the two of us tonight for dinner, I was wondering if maybe we could…"
"Order take-out?"
"I… I was hoping… sure… take-out would be fine."
"Great can you take care of that? There're a few more things I have to do before the goggles are fully functional."
"Certainly."
"Thanks."
"You're welcome."
Sorry guys, no date. Six chickened out again.
