Jefferson wasted no time. He ran upstairs and told Grace, "We are leaving now. Get your winter coat and shoes, we leave immediately."

She was sitting at her desk. "Papa, what's wrong?" She grabbed her coat and her stuffed bear. Her shoes were down stairs. Jefferson ran to the bedroom and grabbed his satchel, picked up the baby off the ground and ran down the stairs. Star was right behind him.

"Papa, Star, what's going on?"

"Don't worry, Darling, we just need to hurry. Get into the car, there is no time." Star gently explained.

They were all in the car in no time at all. Jefferson sped to town and through the deserted streets. As they drove down the hill, he caught a glimpse of green smoke but wasn't certain. He had bigger things to worry about than some other abnormality.

Grace sat in the back seat clutching her bear and frequently turning her head to look behind for some unknown monster. One hand held tightly to Hawk's small hand. Star was fairing pretty much the same. She was looking in all directions, the fear clear on her face. Definitely the unknow lied ahead. No one knew what would happen once they crossed the town line.

"Papa-" was the near scream Jefferson heard as he looked forward and saw everyone gathered around the yellow bug. He watched as Emma and Henry climbed in and drove across the town line. He wasn't going to stop, they'll find out what's on the other side together. Jefferson hit the gas more. He glanced in the review mirror and saw the green smoke just mere feet behind them. Star's hand was holding tight to his arm.

They would not know what lied on the other side of the town line. After hearing female screams all around him, everything went black.

He knew exactly where he was before he opened his eyes. He could smell the trees, the fresh scent of the grass. He could hear the birds chirping, not too far was a Brook. Calm water flowing. This was the home he knew in his early years. This was where Grace was born. Jefferson was back in the Enchanted Forest.

He was lying literally in the middle of the Forrest. He felt the shade from the sun. It's rays being shielded by the massive trees. He opened his eyes and saw the blue skies. He knew immediately that he was alone. He was alone the day he woke up in Storybrook as well. Perhaps everyone went back to where they were before they were swept away to Storybrook. He picked up his satchel. He found it interesting that it followed him. He opened it and out came that dried fragile lilly from so long ago. He already missed his family.

He knew these forests like the back of his hand. The Brook was to the left. The road was to his right. The Castle was to the East. His home to the West. He decided he'd have more success being reunited with his family at or near his home. Or the village market. He headed toward the road.

After walking through the forest, the land had not changed. Emma and the Princess said that it was all gone. Well, not from Jefferson's point of view. It was as if he never left. He heard some rustling off to the north. He had no weapon on him. He was wearing his over coat and the clothes he wore the day he left to Wonderland. Nothing of use was in his satchel. "Who goes there, Friend?" He called out. He wasn't alone! That's all that really mattered at the moment.

There was no response. Jefferson caught a glimpse of cloth. It was clothing. It was definitely a person, but not one who wanted to be seen.

"Friend, I mean no harm. I just want to find my family. Are you alone? Did you come from Storybrook?"

There was more shuffling. Branches breaking. "Grace?" Came the voice.

Jefferson was shocked. "Grace is my daughter. I need to find her. And my wife and son. Are you alone?"

There was more movement. Who would know his daughter's name? Why wouldn't the person, a man, just reveal himself? More movement.

Jefferson recognized the large form immediately. "Anton!" Jefferson went over and embraced the giant quickly. "You didn't go to Storybrook like everyone else. This is hopeful! You aren't at your normal size." He observed.

"Yeah. Emma gave me a pill I can take. I think she got Regina to make it, you know, from her mom's stuff. But I liked being the size of all of you." He looked around, "now that we're back, I'll take it when I get home. I just don't know where home is..."

Jefferson slapped his arm, "Good for you I know exactly where you live." And he pointed. "You're welcome to accompany me to the road. I desperately need to find my family."

As the two men neared the road, in the distance Jefferson could hear the sounds of wagon wheels. Chatter. There was a caravan coming along! He ran toward the sounds. He saw people he recognized. He might find Star, Grace and Hawk.

Just as rays of light, he spotted them! It was the outline of Star, in a very poorly fitted dress, and she had the moccasins he remembered from Neverland. Grace was wearing her cloak and a snug dress. Both females were walking along with the caravan, clinging to each other, hand in hand.

He ran as fast as his feet could carry him calling to them. Grace turned first but both ran toward him. Star reached his arms first. He swung her around and just mere seconds later, Grace was in his arms too. The reunion was wonderful, but the second he put his wife down he noticed the lack of a curly brown haired boy.

"Where is Hawk?"
