Here's another chapter! As always I hope you enjoy it. DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT OWN TWILIGHT!I

So, today was the day. Mia is now officially five years old. We are all currently rushing around to get ready to go to the zoo. We need to be there before everyone to set up and of course we were running pretty late. Only one person in our family is actually ready. I bet you would never guess who that person is.

It was Graham! I couldn't believe it… he is usually such a procrastinator. Especially in the mornings. I think he was more excited than any of us, though. Not really about going to the zoo; he was excited to celebrate the first birthday that he was spending with his sister. He acted almost the same way when we celebrated Zach's birthday, and that was before the engagement. These kids have gotten so close, it just warms my heart.

I was walking around looking for my other shoe when I spotted him. He was pacing between the living room and the kitchen; looking very distraught.

"Hey." I said, stopping the search for my shoe and grabbing him. I brought his head up, making him look at me instead of the floor. "What's wrong?"

His answer came quickly and was very unconvincing, "Nothing."

I gave him a small smile, "Graham, you and I both know that isn't true. Come one, tell me what's wrong."

"I'm worried." He said with a sigh; wringing his hands together.

"Worried? About what?" I asked.

He huffed and looked around me towards the stairs. Then he whispered, "Mom, the other day when I spent the day with dad…" He trailed off.

"Yea, honey. What?"

"Remember when I told you that we just played kickball?" he paused, but continued when I gave him a small nod. "Well, I lied. I mean we did play kickball, but then I had dad take me to a store. He helped me buy something… For Mia. I bought her a birthday present. I even paid for it, I saved my allowance money up."

I don't think my heart could take this level of devastating cuteness; I was tearing up. "Well, that is so sweet. Why are you worried?"

"Moooom. What if she doesn't like what I got her? I want her to like it, so she knows how much I love her. She's my first little sister. I mean she's my first little… anything. Zach is my best friend and my brother, but he's my OLDER brother. And I'm gunna have another little sister, but Mia is my first one. I want her to know that I love her a lot. And maybe if my present isn't good she won't know. Mooooom, I gotta find something else. Come on we gotta go find something!" he ranted.

Oh, my poor sad sweet little boy. "Graham. Hey, you listen to me. Mia is going to love anything you got her. And she already knows that you love her, she would know that even without ANY present. Ok? No need to worry." I pulled him into my arms for a hug.

He exhaled loudly. "Ok. I hope so."

"Alright, I need to go find my shoe. How about you help me and get your mind off of all your worries." I suggested.

That got a small smile from him. "Why do you always lose just one shoe mama?" he teased.

"I don't know. I think you hide them from me." I teased back.

He laughed a little. "I do not!"

"Mhmm. Whatever, come help me look." I said.

Eventually we were all ready and in the car heading to the Zoo. When we got there we parked as close to the entrance as possible so we could carry all of the party stuff in. Did I mention that Emmett rented out the whole zoo for the day? He really goes above and beyond with all the party stuff. I didn't even know that renting out an entire zoo was possible.

Graham was still acting a little jumpy and twitchy. So cute.

We finally made it to the little picnic area and got all the decorations up. Jake and a very very pregnant Nessie showed up a little early to help set up, I cornered Jake immediately.

When I got to him I punched him in the arm. "Ouch! Geez woman, what did I do? I came here to help set up, I'm being good!"

"Why didn't you tell me that you took Graham to get some secret present for Mia?" I asked in a whisper.

He rose one eyebrow at me with a small smirk. This is the face that I deemed the 'Jake Face.' "Bells, it was his choice and his secret. What kind of dad would I be if I just told all his secrets?"

I pouted, knowing he was right. "But… I'm his mom. I need to know these things. When he told me about it this morning he was freaking out and I almost cried. We were both a mess. He still is look at him he's so nervous."

"Come on Bells, everything will be fine. Don't worry. It's a good gift."

"What is it?" I demanded.

He laughed. "I'm not telling if he didn't. Calm down mama bear. Go finish setting up."

I huffed and walked away, over to Emmett. He leaned over from where he was tying balloons together and to a table to give me a kiss. "What's got you all huffy today? Actually you and Graham both are acting weird."

I did a quick look around to make sure no one was paying attention to us. I smiled then, it reminded me of what Graham did earlier at the house. "Graham got Mia a special present and he's freaking out about her liking it. I guess it's making me jumpy too." I explained.

"He did? That's adorable. When did you take him to get it?"

"I didn't. He went when he was with Jake. They won't tell me what it is… But he's so worried." I ranted.

We continued tying balloons to tables and chatting with everyone. When we were done. Mia ran up to us. "Ok! It's all decorated, can we go see the animals now? Can we can we can we?"

Everyone laughed at her cute excited five year old antics, and Em said, "Let's wait for everyone else to get here? Everyone will want to at least see you for a minute, I mean you are the birthday girl. They are coming to see you, ya know."

"Well, when will they be here?" she said with a slight whine.

I looked at the clock on my phone before I answered, "They should be showing up in a few minutes, hun."

"WHAT?" that came Graham; startling everyone. "Wait, they can't be here yet. I haven't… I mean I'm not ready… what if?" he was talking to himself; I think.

"Graham?" I asked.

He looked up at me, then at everyone else with a blush resting on his cheeks. "I mean…" he cleared his throat, "I… um… I got Mia a present and I… I… I wanted to give it to her before everyone got here."

"Really?" Mia squealed.

"Um, yea." Graham responded with a small smile. He then turned to Jake. "Do you still have it, dad?"

Jake's grin was so wide, "Sure do buddy." He dug into his pocket to fish out a small box, handing it to Graham.

Graham slowly walked to Mia and gave her the box. "I hope you like it."

She smiled that blinding Mia smile while opening the box. When she saw what was in it her eyes got wide, then filled up with tears.

"Oh, I knew it! You hate it don't you? I'm sorry Mi-"

"NO!" she interrupted him, "I love it Graham." She launched at him to pull him in a strong hug. "I love you, ya know."

"What is it!?" I exclaimed.

Now everyone was looking at me. Cue blush. "What? I'm curious." Nooow everyone was laughing at me.

Mia laughed and ran to me, "Look what Graham got me!" She lifted her little box toward me. When I looked in it, I started tearing up too (again). It was a locket, but it was the picture and quote that were in it that made so perfect. The picture was of the whole family. EVERYONE. Me, Emmett, Zach, Mia, Graham, Jake, Nessie, Alice, Edward, Esme, Carlisle, and Charlie. That would've been cute enough, but the quote just added an even cuter dimension. 'Brothers and sisters, together as friends, ready to face whatever life sends.' It isn't super serious, but it seems to fit Zach, Mia, And Graham's relationship to a tee.

"Oh, Graham. This is gorgeous!" I half cried, passing it to Emmett who was now just as curious as I had been.

He didn't get to look for very long though, because Mia snatched back out of his hands to go show Zach. They were all huddled together looking at it and talking quietly amongst themselves. The only thing I could actually hear was Mia's exclamation of, "I'm going to wear this for the rest of my life!"

All of us adults ended up huddled together as well.

"Isn't that just the most adorable thing you have ever witnessed in your whole life?" Nessie sighed. To which I nodded vigorously.

"How did he find that quote?" I wondered out loud. Turning to Jake, "Did you find it?"

"Nope." He shook his head. "He had it all planned out, he just needed me to take him to a place where they could make it."

"I wanna know how mister money bags saved up that much money. He's gunna be a great banker someday." Emmett joked.

"He actually did have most of the money saved, I only helped with the money to engrave the quote. But he doesn't know that so don't tell him."

It was at that moment that Mia came running up squealing again. "Did you know that Zach looked up the saying from my locket, so my present is actually from BOTH of my big brothers?! This is the best thing ever!"

She spent the rest of the day going between being in awe of all the animals (even though she has seen them all before) and bragging about the 'Big Brother Locket' that she got for her 'best birthday ever.' The day seemed to just get even better for her when Quil and Embry showed up. Emphasis on the Quil part.

More Birthday stuff to come!
