Reviewers:
MundaneBeast: I thought it would be a good set up for the future. And it may not be Danzo's fall just yet. I still have my inter-war chapter to dish out.
7th Demon of Razgriz: AWWWWW! Not another PIE! As for Danzo's plan, that won't be for awhile, though with my updating, pretty quick.
Keeper of Worlds: He lives for pain, torture, and death. Please understand that you will understand in the final battle why. Yes, Kakasi still lives, and the idea with Sakura and Amy is a great one...didn't think of that. You have some great ideas to wor with on future stories. Have you thought of writing stories and plotlines yourself?
Gunslayer12: Tsunade is still in the picture but deals in the medical hospitol and those kind of cases, and so she is dealing more with the healings, hence not really seen much. She now plays a minor role in the story. jaraiya and Orochimaru are not in the story, only mentioned. For all purposes, they are not living for one reason or another. Sorry if thatburst your bubble. :(
PoeticFire: You know, you wanting more simply means that I am encouraging an addiction to my story...I love that! And you are asking me to read two Bibles? Cause the Bible contains 500K words...mmmm...I'll check it out solely because you are a great reviewer. Sound fair?
Logan Locke: chap 50: Tell me about it! Five months in the making! Wheh! (Whistles) Wow! Can't believe that I've done this much. No need on too much work, I just got a job interview for Vons as a bagger...not too bad since it's only for summer, but so glad I already have the majority of this story done to keep my updates up. She is a Haruno, and haruno's do not break 'Ino reference rom my own story,' And she does it all for her faith in Naruto and her friends. Having ino as a witness is more as a harm to Ino but a lifeline to Sakura, as Ino precisely does not hurt Sakura. Her prison torment ends now, and you know how I feel about cliff hangers as well;) As for Gloval, I'll check him out. And 15 chapters min. to get to 500/ 30 if I get few reviews...i can do that :) Though you are pushing me sooo hard! Ah! :)
MdTiger: If I didn't, this story could have gone on for a whole year, and that's too long to wait for a good story, am I right? Thank you, Sakura need my reader's support. That would be a very bad thing, but maybe a good plotline? Maybe...And the Exchange, you can read about it. Right now even!
AN: Oh My Gosh! So many lovely fans! Oh please, no more! Wait...yes many more! Anywho, it is time to see what happens with Sakura and Kakashi!
P.S. Note at bottom
Sorakage Arc 4
Chapter 52: Exchange
She was cold…so, so cold. Her breathing shivered from the frost forming on her lips as it tried to warm her up, but all in vain. Her body hurt all over as she hunched over in forced position. Her chakra was out of control, and thanks to a seal on her since her second week in this cell, had been healing her aches, or to be exact, keeping her body from deforming from this experience. When she did eventually get out, her body, though marked and smeared with brain wracking pain, would be as fit as the day she came in.
The light opened earlier than usual, way too early, but once she heard Ino's soothing voice, Sakura quickly moved forward and out into the hallway. She stood up and let them cuff her limbs, as this in the past meant something good.
Ino looked at Sakura with sad eyes. It had only been a week since the agreement between the Sorakage and Hokage to switch Sakura Haruno for the thought to be dead Kakashi Hatake. But the guards had played with Sakura in more ways since her last visit down this block to see her best friend and roommate.
Prison guards are never used in the field unless a nation wishes for other nations to fear them. Ninja prison guards would dismember ninja's arms and legs, stab them in many places, but leave them alive for hours on end, torture enemies for fun; Sakura was who they had used this time.
Added to her other injuries, Sakura's right emerald eye was filled with a bloody shade to it, made over the course of blood flowing over a forced opened eye for an extended period of time. Her arm was broken…again, and her leg was twisted in the wrong way before being split back together. Her entire right side was in complete disarray, and Ino wished she had Sakura's strength to throw these guys across this great cavern underneath the village of Konoha.
Ino wrapped her arms around her best friend and hugged her deeply. "It's okay, Sakura. You're leaving here to be with Naruto."
"N…a…ru…to?" Sakura's remaining eye was glazed over as her confused mind mapped out her way as memories traced back to her life before the cell. Her eye focused again and Ino saw Sakura's smile at the last memory of Naruto inside his cell and their passionate kiss.
Ino led Sakura back up to the first floor where she was processed out of her clothes for new ones, as well as her few possessions; her hairband, her jacket, and her wallet with her parent's photo, one with her friends from Konoha and…herself and Naruto asleep in each other's arms with smiles on their faces.
Four hours later, Sakura, along with sixteen Anbu guarding her, were making their way to the border where the exchange would take place. Sakura had quickly gotten to her house and cried with her mother and spoke with her father before telling them of the trade that had been made. Her parents, after jittering to beat the Hokage for his actions were subdued, they had been rather calm to the information of the trade and mentioned how they knew that she would be leaving Konoha eventually; they just weren't expecting her to leave so soon unless she got pregnant.
That thought made Sakura blush at the time and even still when they had known about Naruto's and her exploits in the bedroom, but now she was on her way to being traded for her sensei. If she did ever bear Naruto's children, this would be one heck of a story.
Exactly at noon the next day, Sakura arrived at one side of a clearing with her Anbu in various areas in case of betrayal. After all, Kakashi was dead before, he still might be. On the other side of the clearing appeared a single Sky Anbu with who was indeed Kakashi Hatake, who had the Uchiha eye hidden from the look underneath his headband by an Anbu Hyuuga.
The Sky Anbu looked suspiciously at Sakura, which made she squirm a bit. The Anbu had done all they could to make Sakura look as presentable as possible before seeing her parents and being traded. They had covered her left eye with some dark cloth, to help keep her eyes from burning in the light after six months in the darkness. Her right eye, still bloodshot and bruised from before, had a slight genjutsu on the bruise and a green contact lense that covered the blood on the eye for the most part that served to help her eyes in the natural sunlight as well. The broken arm was in a sling on her waist and wrapped around her neck, but Sakura looked…healthy. Her chakra burns were covered in arm and leg warmers that Ino had bought for Sakura the previous year that matched her emerald eyes, but slightly darker than that.
The head Anbu got in front of Sakura and touched her shoulders to get her attention, before moving to undo her bindings. The Sky ninja did the same and then they both backed up. Kakashi and Sakura slowly walked forward, Sakura slower than Kakashi as she held a limp in her right leg, and met in the middle.
"Hello, Sakura. Looks like you've had a bad time in that prison."
"How did you-"
"Only reason one misses a battle in war. I requested you and was denied. Took a while to figure that out however, and I am sorry to have done nothing for you."
Sakura sniffled. "You couldn't have known." Sakura paused for a bit. "I won't see you again, will I?"
Kakashi smiled at his older pupil. "Probably not soon, but when this is over, perhaps."
"I'll invite you to the wedding, Kakashi-Sensei."
Kakashi nodded before they completed their journeys to the other sides of the clearing. As soon as they reached their respective places, all of the ninja disappeared from view, away from each other and back to their respective sides, out of no man's land.
Sakura passed into the mirage desert of the hidden Sky's lands, and began to walk back to the place she belonged. The Anbu escorting her asked if she would be able to make it to SkySora alone, and Sakura nodded, and allowed the Anbu to end his mission early. After all, Anbu had more important missions than escorting the girlfriend of the Sorakage; at least, that was Sakura's train of thought.
Sakura passed the two mile marker of desert and reached the tree that she and Naruto had passed on her first visit to SkySora. While going around the tree and further into the lands, she wondered if it had really been so long ago. How had that happened in such a short amount of time?
Then again, she had given herself to her boyfriend only six months ago and now her body, despite the mental torture and chakra burns as well as the broken bones, her body ached for the pleasure that she had received and the amount of pleasure that she would give to Naruto in return for trading a priceless ninja for herself.
Sakura had little doubt that Danzo would break the prisoner of war pact and send Kakashi into the field of battle once more, killing more of Naruto's subordinates, but if Naruto cared about her more than the village…well, she'd just have to straighten him out when she got there.
As Sakura reached the cliffs, a ninja with a bow on her shoulder dropped down from her hiding place and sprinted over to her. The ninja smiled brightly as she approached someone she adorned and respected more than most people in her life.
"Sakura-Sensei!"
Sakura gasped painfully as her student enveloped her in a warm embrace. The ninja bashfully backed away before green chakra enveloped their hands and placed them above Sakura's ribcage, healing them slowly.
"Sensei, what have you been up to?" The ninja asked, showing concern for her injured sensei.
"Aiko Ruko, it's great to see you."
"Where have you been? No one has seen you in six months. Everyone thought you had died or captured or…or…"
"It's alright Aiko, I'm fine. Just got into a tight pinch."
"I'll say." Aiko smiled sadly. "Your chakra system looks to be berserk at the moment. You're basically at civilian status."
"I know, but I'm on my way to the safest place for a civilian."
"The war is not over, though. Are you here for a treaty?"
"No Aiko, I've been traded."
"Really?!" Aiko smiled before composing herself again. "Sorry. My emotions got away from me."
"It's alright." Sakura smiled at her student inside the hidden Sky. "I see you've been practicing."
"Yes. I'm now able to keep three fish alive at a time. You'll continue my training right?"
"Of course, but first, I must heal."
"Of course, sensei. I get off in three weeks for a week. I'll see you then."
"Alright. Now, get back to your post, young lady, or you'll get into trouble."
"Who you calling a young lady? We're the same age." Aiko smiled before retreating back up to her hiding place, leaving Sakura in a slightly better condition to continue her journey forward.
A couple of hours later, Sakura was breathing heavily from the strain on her body, not at all recovered from the months of mental and physical torture done to her. Ino might have been kind, but Root Anbu from the Yamanaka clan certainly weren't. It was only thanks to Sakura's second persona that she had reversed their attempts on her and sent them to the mental facilities aboveground.
Sakura passed the spot where her boyfriend and she had moved forward more in their relationship, exploring the other's body without sexual intercourse, a complete foreplay that had lasted for so long. But Sakura was done with being a young girl; she had blossomed into a full grown woman, and Naruto into a man, and coatis was a natural and rare thing in the life of a shinobi.
Sakura felt her right ankle pop out of place as she positioned it poorly on the way down the hill and held in a scream so that it came out as a muffled cry of pain, before letting her body's automatic healing procedure kick in. It was a slow jutsu, one that her master had taught her, but held enough chakra to heal a major injury quickly. With Sakura's many minor wounds, it would take time, but Sakura was glad to have the jutsu still in effect after so long a time.
The reason why Sakura wasn't adding chakra into her feet and running to the village was because she couldn't control her chakra at all at the moment. Those restraints had diverted so much of her system and made unnecessary new tracts in her chakra network over the months and it would take time to close those channels and realign her old pathways before she could use her own chakra.
As soon as Sakura reached the bottom of the valley and to the open gates of SkySora, every eye in the city was on her. Most wanted to rush her at once and tell her that they were glad that she was back. But then they saw the hidden injuries and the limp that she couldn't conceal. Even the ninja who wanted to help her hesitated; Sakura would want to push herself forward, not accepting help from others. So they simply watched as she made her way to the Namikaze estate and left the girl and her boyfriend to their reunion.
Sakura breathed rapidly now, wanting to be in Naruto's arms quickly and before she passed out from the pain and tiredness that she felt from her muscles. Even her eyes were cascading downward as she dragged her feet up the steps to her boyfriend's door.
Sakura brought her hand up and knocked a couple of times before letting fall down again. The door opened and Naruto's surprised smile made Sakura tear up and smile as well as she wrapped her arms around his neck, leaning completely on him. Her body ached for him, but before Sakura knew what was happening, her tiredness crept up on her and she fell into a deep sleep.
AN2: Hey guys; so...I'm thinking of a sequel to this story, what do you guys think? No matter who wins, and stuff like that?
