Truth Spell
"Come on guys! Let's get moving! We don't have all day to get this library cleaned up!" Erza shouted as she walked across the room carrying a stack of books.
Lucy groaned as she let a stack of books hit the table and she sat down. "Oh god… why are we doing this again? Because I don't remember volunteering for this."
"Nobody does. Erza dragged us into this." Kera muttered as she was on a ladder putting books into the shelves. She occasionally glanced at them to see what they were about. There were some very interesting books in there that she might actually read herself. There were books about the ancient times where Dragons still ruled and she was really interested in that. She also wanted to ask her mother about that as well. She really wanted to know more from where she came and her history.
The brunette yelped as she got hit with a book and fell off the ladder. She landed on the floor with a loud thud. "Ow…" She muttered. Erza shot her a glare. "Stop whining and get back to work!"
"You're the one who just threw me off the ladder!" She shouted back at her while throwing the book back at her, but the red head just caught it with ease.
Gray and Natsu gave each other a look as they watched the two fight. They knew they shouldn't interfere but they knew that Erza was always volunteering them for stuff they didn't even want to do! Like the last time they were volunteered to clean up the library… not fun. They also knew not to argue with the red head, or else they'll end up just like Kera now.
Natsu turned around. "Just act as if you're working and we should be fine."
"Yea…" Gray nodded his head as he kept on moving books around. Natsu was right for once, they definitely did not want to anger Erza. For some reason she seemed mad. But of course nobody was stupid enough to ask why.
"Geez, why are you so angry? It's like you just got dumped or something!"
Well except for Kera.
Erza shot her a glare and Kera simply rolled her eyes. "Yea I know, get moving and working." She muttered before climbing back up the ladder to sort back in the books.
Lucy on the other hand found something interesting. "Hey guys, look at this!" She called the others and they all surrounded her except for Kera who was still on the ladder.
Natsu glanced over her shoulder and look at the book that was in front of her. "What's this about Luce?" He asked.
The blonde smiled. "It's an ancient book of lost spells!"
"Lost spells?" Gray wondered and Erza simply nodded her head. "Just like magic some spells have been lost over the years or were able to be used. Others were banned for example. But I'm curious as to why it's in the Guild's library. Books like these are supposed to be either locked by the council or the great library."
Natsu grinned as he grabbed the book. "Sweet! Maybe there's some book here that makes me super powerful!"
Gray snorted. "Yea right. There's nothing here that could do that."
"Yea you're right, that wouldn't exist."
"More like you're too stupid to find it."
"Hey!"
Lucy noticed a loose piece of paper in the book and grabbed it. "Huh what's this?" She wondered looking down at it as did Gray and Natsu. Meanwhile Erza saw Kera trying to climb the bookcase to put back a book at the top. Rolling her eyes she started to walk towards her. "Be careful Kera! You're going to fall!"
"Mind your own business!"
"Why are you always so ungrateful!?"
As the three wizards muttered something behind Erza, a blast shot out knocking everyone off their feet. Erza was caught in the blast and stumbled forward while the ladder got hit and Kera fell to the ground on top of Erza.
It took a few minutes for them to grab their bearings. They all groaned while rubbing their heads. Kera sat up and groaned. "Damn… my head hurts…" She muttered. The brunette yelped as she was thrown to the side by Erza as she tried to get up.
"Why does this always happen to us?" Kera groaned. "I didn't even do anything this time."
Erza sighed as she rubbed her head. "Doesn't matter. We need to get this place cleaned up. Just look at the mess you guys just did!" She muttered before grabbing a few books and heading back to what she was doing.
Everyone looked annoyed and they were really mad.
"She really needs to get laid…"
Everyone froze as their eyes went wide as they turned their heads to Natsu. Did he… did they really just hear that!? Erza turned around. "Is everything alright?" She asked.
Natsu was about to say something but everyone jumped on him and Kera covered his mouth while smiling. "Yes! Everything is alright!"
As Erza headed outside everyone glared at Natsu. "What the hell!? You can't just say that!" Gray snapped at him.
"Yea what is your problem!?" Kera snapped at him.
He grabbed his head. "I don't know! It just slipped out! I didn't mean to say it!"
"You're lucky she didn't hear it!" Kera sneered. "You would have gotten us all killed!"
He whimpered. "Sorry… I'll watch it next time."
"You better." Lucy snapped at him this time. The pink haired Dragon Slayer groaned as he held his head. He almost screwed up big time! Thank god she didn't hear him. But why the hell did he say that? He didn't want to say that out loud!
Mira smiled as she set down a cup of hot cocoa in front of Kera. "How did cleaning up go?"
The brunette shrugged. "It was alright. Erza was a pain though and Natsu of course commented on it, but otherwise it was fine. But why does she always volunteer us for this stuff?"
The girl smiled. "She only means well. You do know that right?"
Kera sighed. "I know… but still it's a bit annoying that she always drags us into these kinds of things."
The white haired woman chuckled as she watched her friend drink her cocoa. "By the way." She spoke up. "I was wondering if you and Sting had any juicy dates lately? Secrets or anything like that. Oh did you do it this night?"
"Nah, we just made out in the park." Kera easily said, but her eyes went wide. She immediately covered her mouth as she realized what she said. Mira gasped slightly but with a smile. She definitely didn't expect this. Neither did Kera!
"Oh… my… god." Mira started to squeal but the brunette quickly covered her mouth. "Don't you dare!"
Mira started laughing. "I didn't expect you to finally admit it!"
"I didn't! I mean I did, but I didn't want to!" Kera shot back. Why did she just easily blurt out that she made out with Sting!? She never told Mira about her love life! So why did she say it now!?
Mira smirked. "Come on, what else do you got? Oh, was the make out session any good? Is he good?"
"He's amazing!" Kera told her with a smile, but quickly shut her mouth. "Damn it!" She shouted. What the hell was happening to her!? It's like her mouth spoke by itself, as if she had no control over it!
Mira grinned as she had a feeling that she had no control over what she was saying. Kera shook her head as she saw the evil smirk on the woman's face. "Oh no, not going to happen!"
The She-Demon leaned forward into Kera's face. "Tell me Kera, do you ever want to do it with Sting?"
Kera tried to keep her mouth shut as best she could, but she failed and her mouth opened up by its own. "Yes…"
"I knew it!" Mira shouted jumping up but Kera lunged forward, over the bar and onto Mira. "Stop asking questions!" She snapped at her.
The woman grinned at her. "I knew you loved him!"
"This stays between us!" Kera threatened as she pushed the woman to the ground. "We never even had this conversation. Understood?"
Mira chuckled softly. "Then why are you answering all my questions? It's like you have to say the truth!"
Kera groaned as she shook her head. "I don't know! It's just like Natsu…" She stopped as she realized something. She remembered Natsu simply saying that Erza needed to be laid, something he would never say and she just admitted to Mira everything about her relationship with Sting! It's like she was under a truth serum or something!
Wait…
"The blast…" She muttered.
Mira raised an eyebrow. "What are you talking about?"
"There was a blast in the library. I don't know what happened but Lucy, Natsu and Gray were looking in a spell book." Kera told her.
The woman looked a little worried. "I don't know what they had, but you might want to check it out." She suggested. "Or I can help you!"
Kera shot her a dark look. "You'd rather take advantage of this."
Mira scoffed. "I would never! I would never take this to my advantage asking if you ever dreamt of Sting."
"I sometimes do… god damn it Mira!" Kera shouted at her, but the woman simply laughed.
After getting away from Mira and her devious questions, Kera started looking for her friends. She had pulled Lucy from her apartment, Natsu and Gray from their houses and Erza from Fairy Hills which was accompanied by Wendy, who was curious to what was going on.
Now they were all together in both Kera's and Lucy's apartment. Erza sat on the bed with her arms crossed over her chest and a frown on her face. "What's this about Kera? I don't have all day to play around."
Kera snorted. "You really think I'm playing around? This is serious."
Natsu groaned. "Whatever it is, it can wait."
"Actually it can't." Kera told him.
Erza rolled her eyes. "Come on Kera, you're just trying to get back at us for the library clean up."
The brunette pointed at her. "I hated that, but this is not what this is." She told her.
The red head sighed as she stood up. "Then please don't waste our time. I've got better things to do." She got up and headed for the door.
Kera smirked. "Oh just one question. If Jellal would be here alone, would you leave or make out with him?"
"Make out with him, what else…" Erza froze as her mouth went off without her thinking. She had no idea why she just admitted that so easily. She turned around glaring at Kera. "What did you do?"
The brunette shook her head, not being able to lie. "I didn't do anything, but it seems we've been hit with a truth spell or something."
"A truth spell?" Natsu snorted. "Yea right, like that exists."
Kera raised an eyebrow. "Natsu, what did you say in the library about Erza?"
"That she needed to get laid." He said and immediately covered his mouth. "Crap! I did it again!"
"You said what!?" Erza sneered at the pink Dragon Slayer.
Lucy looked shocked and amazed at the same time. "So we're actually under a truth spell?"
Kera sighed and nodded. "Yea… we can't lie. We automatically say the truth to any question."
An evil smirk suddenly appeared on Natsu's face. "Oh? So when I ask a question, you have to answer truthfully?"
"Unfortunately yes…" Kera muttered remembering the questions Mira asked her.
"Good! So we can start playing!" A new voice shouted. Everyone turned around and saw Mira entering the room and locking the door behind her.
Immediately everyone paled as they noticed what was about to come.
"Oh crap…" Kera muttered and Erza shook her head.
Five minutes later and everyone was sitting on the ground of the apartment with Mira standing in the middle. She had a big smile on her face while others were looking nervous and horrified. Mira had found out about their predicament and just like Kera had predicted, she would take this to her advantage. Natsu had tried jumping through the window but Mira had quickly grabbed him and threw him back using her Satan Soul.
So now here they were, fearing their end coming.
"Why am I here anyway?" Wendy asked glancing at the others. "I'm not under the truth spell."
Mira clasped her hands. "This is a great way to get to know your friends even better!"
Kera groaned. "I can already see us killing each other…"
"This… is a very bad idea." Erza muttered and both Gray and Natsu agreed.
The brunette glanced up at Mira pleadingly. "Come on Mira, please don't do this. Secrets are supposed to stay secret. Who knows, maybe we've got secrets for a reason."
"Oh nonsense!" Mira waved her hand. "Now, we're going to do this very easy. I have a bottle here and it will spin around. To whomever it stops I will ask a question!" She said with a huge grin on her face.
"And what do we get out of this?" Gray asked.
Mira was about to answer but a knock against the door was heard and soon a voice followed. "Kera? Are you here? Cana said you might be at home since you weren't at the guild. Can I come in?"
Kera paled and glanced at Mira who had an evil smirk on her face. Oh no… Kera thought. She quickly turned to the door. "Sting run now!"
"W-What?" He asked confused, but before he could even say anything else Mira unlocked the door and pulled him inside. The blonde Dragon Slayer tumbled slightly but the white haired mage locked the door and smirked. "Welcome Sting!"
"What's going on?" He asked glancing around the room. He saw everyone there looking unhappy.
Kera sighed as she glanced up at him. "Our doom…"
He looked even more confused and Kera was obliged, half because of the truth spell and half because he was here because of her. "Natsu, Gray, Erza and I got hit with a truth spell while cleaning up the library and now Mira found out and she's going to torture us with asking questions and we seriously can't lie."
Mira nodded. "Now sit down, we'll get to learn a lot about each other today!"
"Oh god this is going to be the worst day of my life." Gray muttered rubbing his head.
Mira grabbed the bottle and spun it around. Sting, still a bit confused as to why he was here, sat down next to Kera watching the bottle spin. It started to slow down and finally it stopped at Erza.
Mira nodded while the red head gave her a suspicious look. "Alright! Let's start with an easy one so we know you're still under the truth spell. Would you make out with Jellal if he were standing right here."
"Yes…" The answer came out as quickly as the question came. The red head groaned knowing how badly this night can get.
"Great!" Mira clapped her hands and started to spin the bottle yet again. This time it stopped at Natsu. The woman smirked. "So Natsu, what is the real reason that you are protective with Kera so much?"
Natsu shrugged. "She's the Queen of Dragons, it's my duty to keep her safe, but the main reason is because like with Erza, she's my little sis. She's part of my family and I will do anything to keep her safe. That and Igneel promised me to."
Kera's eyes went wide. "Wait… Igneel told you?"
The Dragon Slayer nodded. "Yea… after he died… he came to me and told me that I should stay by your side, to protect you and keep you safe. He said you needed me most right now, but I think that he meant that you need all of us."
"Natsu…" Kera was speechless. She didn't even know that. That was really sweet of him.
"Boring!" Mira called and everyone glared at her. she went to the bottle and spun it around again. Everyone watched it until it stopped by Kera. The brunette groaned. Great this was going to be horrible.
The woman smirked. "So Kera…" She saw the spark in her eyes and Kera grew scared. "Since you're always so secretive about your relationships…"
"Oh god…"
"Where was the most embarrassing place that you made out with Sting?"
"Erza's bedroom after she went out to grab some dinner." Kera answered and Sting turned a deep red.
"You did what!?" Erza shouted her expression completely made out of shock. "Why would you do that!?"
"Sting dared me!"
"Kera!" Sting shouted in embarrassment.
"Sorry!" The brunette buried her head in her hands. "I can't lie I'm so sorry."
The red head shuddered. "I think I need to get a new bed…" Not only that but she shot the blonde Dragon Slayer a dark look making him flinch. Maybe this was really bad for him. Maybe he shouldn't have come.
Mira smirked, definitely happy about her answer. "Now that's how things should go!"
"I hate this…" Kera muttered trying to cover her embarrassing face.
The She-Demon chuckled as she started to spin the bottle around yet again. It kept on spinning and this time it stopped right in front of Gray. He paled and swallowed hard waiting for his hell.
"Well Gray." Mira started as she thought about her question. "Now… this might be one for the books, but don't you like Juvia?"
Gray groaned. "God damn it…" He tried holding back but there was no use. "I don't like her I love her okay?" He shouted at her.
Natsu laughed at him. "Oh man, I knew it! You're so in love with her! You're playing hard to get, but every time Lyon tries to take her you get so jealous!"
The Ice wizard growled, glaring at the pink haired Dragon Slayer. "Oh shut it! You're too stupid to even realize that you like Lucy!"
"Of course I realize that!" He said but quickly covered his mouth. "Uh oh…" He glanced at the blonde who was now blushing as red as Erza's hair.
Mira squealed. "Oh Lucy, don't you love Natsu as well?"
"Yes!" Lucy covered her mouth and Kera hit the ground covering her eyes. "This can't get worse!"
Wendy glanced at everyone. "This is a bit too much detailed information I don't really need to know."
Kera glared at Mira. "I think it's time to stop Mira."
She smirked at the brunette. "Really? Because it's just getting started! So Kera, have you ever thought of kissing either Natsu or Gray?"
"No." Kera said easily and caught two glares of the two boys. The brunette gave them a weird look. "Really!?" Both of them shouted at the same time.
The Dragon Queen shrugged. "You guys aren't my type. Natsu is too stupid and Gray… well… he's just too cold."
"Ouch." Erza commented and the two guys looked like they've just been hit by a train.
Wendy and Lucy on the other hand simply chuckled seeing their expressions. Kera had just told them to their faces that she was absolutely not interested and for what reason.
Mira chuckled and was about to answer another question, but Gray beat her too it. "I am not too cold! Well alright! If you want to go that way. Weren't you the one who ruined Mira's teddy?"
"Technically it was Natsu who ruined it. I tried to fix it." Kera answered and this caused Mira to glare at the pink haired Dragon Slayer. Natsu flinched back. "I-I can explain! I t-thought it was Kera's a-and… please don't kill me!"
Mira had a dark look on her eyes. "We're going to do this a different way." She sneered and got into his face. "We're going to get every little dirty secret out of you."
Natsu swallowed hard. This was going to be really bad. The Takeover mage smirked. "Come on Natsu, tell us, have you ever thought of kissing one of the girls in the Guild?"
He covered his eyes. "Damn it… Lucy, Kera, Erza and you!"
Every girl in that room looked at him with different expressions. Lucy and Erza looked like they were blushing while Kera was too shocked to react and Mira simply smirked. Who knew the Dragon Slayer that everyone thought was stupid was actually a pervert in secret.
Natsu gritted his teeth. "Alright fine! It's not like Lucy hasn't been dreaming of anyone. Right Lucy, you have wanted to make out with someone."
The blonde blushed and spoke up. "Loke, Jellal, Sting, Rogue… and you." She squeaked as the words came out of her mouth.
Kera's eyes went wide. "Really!? Jellal!?"
Erza glared at her. "What's that supposed to mean?"
The brunette shook her head. "I just didn't expect Lucy to be into him! I mean, he's good looking but after what he did…"
Erza frowned at her. "So you still don't trust him?"
She sighed. "You know me trusting people is hard especially when they did something bad."
The red head rolled her eyes. "I know he hurt you Kera, but he's done his best to repay his sins. He helped you so much…"
"I don't care about him hurting me! I'm pissed that he hurt you!" Kera snapped at her and there was a moment of silence in the room. Erza was a bit shocked to hear this. "Kera…" She whispered. "I… I didn't know…"
Kera sighed. "It's not something I just blurt out and if I weren't under this crappy truth spell I wouldn't have said a thing!"
Erza quickly pulled her into a hug. "I really didn't know, I'm so sorry Kera. I know it's hard, but he's changed."
"But what if he isn't? I swear I'm going to kill him if he hurts you again. There's no way in hell that he's going to put you through that again." Kera asked her.
The red head chuckled. "No worries Kera. He won't do it again, and if he does… well he knows that you'll be after him."
Mira smiled as clapped her hands. "Oh this is just so sweet! Now you two would just need to kiss and everything is all right!"
"Please no, don't need to go through that again." Kera rolled her eyes but immediately froze as she realized what she had just said.
Everyone in the room looked at her with wide eyes. Mira didn't expect this and Erza looked like a ghost. "We what!?" She shouted at her.
Kera covered her mouth and gained an evil smirk from Mira. Immediately she shook her head not wanting to say a word. She promised herself that she would take this secret to the grave! Oh god no! Please Mira, don't…
"Care to explain Kera? Did you and Erza kiss?"
"She kissed me and tried to make out with me when I was turned into a guy!" Oh god no…
As if a light bulb was turned on, did Erza finally remember what had happened. Dread filled her face remembering exactly how she acted. "Oh my god…" She covered her eyes knowing that she actually had a crush on her.
"You two made out!?" Natsu shouted his eyes going wide.
Kera groaned. "It's not what you think! She kissed me!"
"And I didn't mean it!" Erza shouted back.
Lucy gave them a confused look. "Why did you do it!?"
Erza shook her head. Why did she do it? God, why did this have to come up again? "She was hot okay? It's not my fault!"
"Of course it's your fault!" Kera snapped at her. "You didn't need to throw yourself on me! I'm the victim!"
Mira squealed as she clapped her hands. "This is so great! Sting don't you agree? Wouldn't it be nice to see them make out?"
"MIRA!" Both Kera and Erza shouted at her.
Sting blushed a deep red but quickly cleared his throat. "I'm not under a truth spell so I'm not going to answer that question."
"Good answer." The brunette told him while shooting him a glare.
Meanwhile both Gray and Natsu were daydreaming of the two girls making out and it was very obvious since their faces were red and noses were slightly bleeding. Kera growled and threw a book at them. "Stop daydreaming about us!"
"But it would be so hot! You and Erza making out that would be a dream come true." Natsu commented only for the brunette to jump on him, trying to kill him. Sting quickly grabbed her and pulled her back before she was able to finish the job. "Calm down Kera!"
Kera growled. "They seem like idiots but they're both perverts!"
Natsu chuckled. "Ah come on, why don't you make out more?"
"Natsu!"
"Okay that's it!" Sting called as he pulled Kera back and standing up. He glared at Natsu. "We're ending this now. Natsu don't you remember that time that you made me swear to not mention Lucy?"
Natsu's eyes went wide. "Oh god no, please no."
"What exactly happened Natsu?" He asked. The pink haired Dragon Slayer tried to keep his mouth shut but it didn't work. "Damn it! I accidentally burned Lucy's favorite shirt and read her novel while also accidentally ruining Kera's jacket and trashing her bed while they both were out. Sting came to see if Kera was there and caught me and I made him promise to not tell!"
"That was you!" Both Lucy and Kera shouted together.
Gray laughed. "Loser."
Sting turned to the Ice Mage. "And you Gray, what really happened to Erza's cake while you guys visited Sabertooth?"
"I accidentally threw it to the ground and blamed it on Kera."
"That was you!" This time Erza and Kera shouted together.
"And Natsu didn't you…" Sting was about to start again, but the pink haired Dragon Slayer stood up. "Okay! Okay! Please stop it! We'll stop! We'll stop!"
Sting turned to everyone in the room while holding Kera in his arms. "I think we had enough of this tortuous session. Things have been brought up that didn't need to be brought up and poor little Wendy has gained unnecessary information especially at her young age."
To prove his point, they all saw Wendy in the corner rocking slightly. "Too much… information…" She muttered.
"I think it's time we left. You guys can continue, but I won't see you guys squeezing information out of my girlfriend. Come on Kera we're leaving." Sting told her before leading her to the door. Not even Mira was going to stop him.
After the door closed, there was a moment of silence. That is until Lucy broke it. "He's actually hot."
"Yea I'd make out with him." Erza commented as well.
"Hey!" Natsu and Gray shouted. "What are we? Chopped liver?"
Lucy and Erza rolled their eyes knowing that the boys were being overdramatic. But first they were going to take care of Wendy. The poor girl had heard more than she needed to.
"Thanks Sting." Kera smiled as they were sitting at a river. The Dragon Slayer had bought Kera a cup of hot cocoa and were now relaxing. "Thanks for getting me out of that horrible situation there."
Sting chuckled as he leaned against the tree. "Not a problem. But it was interesting to hear that you were once turned into a guy. How was that experience?"
"Horrible, very very horrible." Kera told him with a smile. "You know… since everyone took the advantage, why didn't you?"
The blonde Dragon Slayer smiled softly as he put an arm around Kera. "I want you to tell me things because you want to, not because you're forced to because of a spell."
"That's sweet." She leaned against him. "I really love you."
"I love you too."
There was a moment of silence before Kera spoke up again. "Hey Sting…"
"Yea?"
"Can you do me a favor?" She asked him looking up at him. He nodded, a bit unsure what was going on. "Can you ask me questions?"
He looked at her confused. "What? Why?"
She smiled up at him. "I trust you and this way you can ask all the questions you ever wanted to know and not worry if it's true or not."
Sting wasn't sure yet. This was something big. "Are you sure?"
Kera nodded. "I trust you Sting and I love you. If there are any questions you want to ask go ahead."
He smiled but then nodded his head. "Alright." He thought of a question before glancing down at Kera. "Okay, what's your favorite color?"
"Blue."
"Favorite animal?"
"Horse."
"That's cute." Sting chuckled and Kera rolled her eyes. "Favorite desert?"
"Chocolate mousse."
"Of course." He smirked slightly. "Alright, let's see… best friend?"
"Erza of course."
"Favorite Dragon Slayer?"
Kera chuckled. "Besides you? Wendy."
Sting smiled as he kissed her. Kera smiled. "Not going to ask anything else? I don't mind. Isn't there anything you'd like to know?"
The blonde started to think. "Well… there is something but…" he shook his head. "It's fine."
Sitting up straight Kera looked a bit worried. "Sting, come on, you can ask me."
He sighed slightly. At first he wasn't going to say anything, but then he did. "Do you… do you see a future with us… together?"
The Queen of Dragon smiled softly at him and leaned her head against his chest. "Of course I do Sting. To be honest… I can't see a future without you. I would love to start a life with you. That is if you even like me back."
He kissed her slightly. "I know I'm not under a truth spell, but you can count on that I'm telling the truth when I say this. I love you Kera and I can't imagine living life without you either."
Kera smiled. "So do you want to ever move in together?"
Sting chuckled and nodded. "I would love to." The two stayed there for the rest of the day cuddling and enjoying time together. There was nothing that could destroy the mood they were in.
From a distance Mavis stood watching the two with a smile on her face. Makarov appeared beside her, crossing his arms over his chest. "Tell me First, when are you going to tell them that this was your plan?"
Mavis chuckled. "That, Makarov, is going to stay between the two of us."
The old man shook his head while a smile was plastered on his face. "You really go to these lengths to get what you want."
The girl laughed. "You know this isn't what I wanted, this is something Kera wanted and I gave her… a little push."
"A little hard push." He chuckled. "There is never a dull day here in Fairy Tail."
Alright that's that! Hope you guys enjoyed this little fun chapter! Like always don't forget to leave a review or a request! And I will see you guys soon!
