A/N: All right, I got a new computer so there is no excuses now! But this story will definitely go on hold soon because the end bit is difficult to write and it's not turning out nicely and feels awkward and I don't want that to happen so I'd rather take some time to do it right than post something that is confusing and difficult to understand, I'm sorry but thank you and try to be a little patient with me :) I usually don't post stories until I'm nearly finished writing them or actually finished them it's all HowShallWeDeulIChooseNARWALS fault.
Anyway thanks to SonOfObito... YAY Kyuubi chakra mode! I agree :D
Anyway, this chapter was inspired by the song I Need a Doctor- Dr. Dre ft. Eminem and Skylar Grey. ENJOY!
The snow was harsh, icy and sharp mixed with dark dirty embers of an old fire as it turned the sky an ash grey. The Land of Iron was dead quiet as an abnormally large squadron forced their way through the heavy and dirty snowy lands as ninja from every country walked together to find their missing and powerful leaders and hopefully save them before it's too late as no battle could be heard anywhere among the desolate land. Emerald green eyes scanned a map as they walked together as they came up towards a hill and stopped.
"This should be it." Sakura said, coming to a stop before she looked up and her face fell exactly how everyone else's had. "Wow…"
"Actually… I don't think that even begins to describe this…" Anko said next to her. The snow land was covered with tree stumps, partially covered by snow and some of it was charred in the middle and burned away, explaining the soot flying around with the snowy wind. There was no longer a building, just rubble of what it could have possibly been before.
"Let's all spread out and search for survivors, both Kage and samurai who are in agreement of our alliance." Shizune suggested back to the squadron that separated into groups of two and began to make their way down towards the timbered area slowly and carefully and sensory types began pointing out areas that still held chakra signals as people began to run through the wood as Anko and Kabuto branched off together and Shizune and Sakura headed off together.
Both Shizune and Sakura were hoping to come across Tsunade as they pushed through the trees, cutting through the thicker ones with chakra scalpels and keeping their ears open for any sound and possible breathing and such. It was lucky that it was snowing and the branches were high as it was blocking the land underneath from receiving snow and the icy wind wasn't able to travel through it, creating only a very small breeze to keep the air moving, the snow would also slow down any injured people's hearts and hopefully not kill them but slow down anyone who might be saveable and might be bleeding out as they speak.
They came across unfortunate dead bodies of samurai with clean breaks to their necks and backs, killing them right there and hopefully without pain as far as they could see and placed them lying down on the snow with a blanket over them as they set a smoke bomb down to go off whenever they set off their chakra when they are finished healing the living and needed to clean up the dead respectfully and put them at peace. Three of them jumped back once a branch was cleared away as they looked at each other with slight shock.
"Katsuyu-sama?" Shizune asked as the slug nodded.
"Shizune-san, Sakura-san, I'm glad to see you." Katsuyu said with obvious relief on her voice.
"Where's Tsunade-sama, is she all right?" Shizune asked quickly.
"Not exactly but she asked me to find the Kage and heal them first. My clone will take you back to her and try to keep calm." Katsuyu said as a small version of herself emerged from her body and moved to sit on Shizune's shoulder.
"There's others out there looking for survivors. If you need any help just call us." Sakura said as she followed after Shizune who was already rushing through the giant branches as Katsuyu carried on her way.
"Tsunade-sama!" Shizune yelled out in worry as she came to stop next to her and a larger version of Katsuyu. Sakura gasped, putting her hands over her mouth as her eyes watered slightly.
"Sakura… This is no time to be… crying." Tsunade ordered weakly as Sakura looked on in horror at Tsunade's separated body by a giant branch. "I won't go down easily." Tsunade smiled slightly
"There's others with us out here and Katsuyu is finding the other Kage. Let us take care of you Tsunade-sama." Shizune said firmly and Tsunade smiled and closed her eyes.
"I trust you both firmly." Tsunade said with relief clear on her bloody features and Sakura wiped away her tears.
"I shall lift the branch carefully and quickly bring Tsunade-sama's lower half over so we can begin reattaching her together." Katsuyu said as she broke up into her smaller counterparts and headed towards the branch and Shizune and Sakura got ready.

"Must have been one hell of a battle." Anko commented as she pushed away a branch with Kabuto walking next to her.
"A legendary shinobi versus the five current Kage, I'd be disappointed if it wasn't." Kabuto commented.
"True, true." Anko smirked as did Kabuto… They did have a lot in common and surprisingly got along well, even if they were slightly… twisted… "How many more dead samurai do you think we'll come across?"
"A lot more knowing us, it'll probably be the only thing we come across." Kabuto deadpanned as he kicked an empty helmet and it rolled before hitting something and Kabuto stopped as Anko looked back at him.
"What's wrong?" Anko asked, holding a branch aside with her arm.
"Do you sense that?" Kabuto asked as Anko scrunched up her face in concentration. "Almost like Kasumi-senpai…" Kabuto elaborated. Anko's brows furrowed as she shook her head negatively.
"Let's go check over that way then." Anko said, dropping the branch as she caught up with Kabuto and they exited the giant forest and began walking.
"Didn't Kakashi-san say Kasumi's fight was this way?" Kabuto asked and Anko shrugged.
"Kakashi said north-west from the strong hold, so I guess it's this way…" Anko said, unsure in her words.
"Hey, check this out." Kabuto said as he ran ahead and Anko ran after him quickly as he crouched onto his haunches and fished something from the snow and turned it up in his hand towards the sun as he fixed his glasses.
"Orange? Does it hold some importance?" Anko asked and Kabuto scowled before standing up.
"It's a part of Tobi's mask… This is definitely where they fought." Kabuto said, looking over the land but not seeing any evidence of a large battle like he would expect from Kasumi.
"I sense it now… a fizzle of lightning?" Anko asked and Kabuto nodded.
"It's Kasumi-senpai's chakra signature… Let's spread out slightly within shouting distance to see if we can find her or anything to prove she was here. Maybe if we're lucky, some idea of which way she might be." Kabuto said and Anko nodded as she walked one way and Kabuto began the other as he fiddled with the shattered piece of the mask and quickly found the rest as he gathered it and put it into his pouch for later analysis.
Anko could see small evidence of a short battle happening and an indent in the snow where someone must have hit the ground pretty hard and laid there for a while as it was still easily seen even as snow had been falling the entire time since then. A slight glint in the snow made Anko turn her head and walk over to the little silver handle and kneel down and she knew what it was straight away as her hands reached out and noticed the little light blue band connected to the ring of the kunai as she gripped it and pulled it out of the snow… Three-pronged kunai, bright silver, light blue handle with the Hiraishin seal on it as she stood up and laid it on her palm and dusted the snow away carefully as the seal on the kunai had been damaged by the harsh elements… But it was still buzzing with energy meaning its owner was still alive… Somewhere as Anko looked around quickly to see if she could see anything or anyone but of coarse there was nothing.
"Did you find something?" Kabuto shouted over as he was heading towards her. Anko just took hold of the little blue strap and let the kunai hang from her hand and Kabuto visibly sped up.
"Kasumi's kunai and a body indent but no body or any other clue as to what happened here… Or even possible tracks in the snow. What the hell do you think happened to her?" Anko asked and Kabuto shrugged.
"Who knows but she probably knows the identity of who Tobi is which makes her even more valuable now more than ever but it's almost like they vanished into thin air… Well, that is one of Tobi's techniques." Kabuto shrugged, taking the kunai carefully from Anko and placing it carefully into some cloth before putting it into his pouch with the broken mask.
"Perhaps they took the fight somewhere else?" Anko suggested.
"Perhaps but that doesn't help us with finding her now and she may be badly injured." Kabuto said.
"So you felt it too?" Anko asked and Kabuto nodded.
"Depending on the seal, they tend to die soon after the owner does and this one is still radiating a lot of energy, I believe Kasumi-senpai is still alive… Somewhere." Kabuto explained. A small pop sound sounded back where they came from before they saw smoke coming from the sea of stumps and they sighed.
"Well all of the people have been rescued, it's time to dispose of the dead… Yay." Anko deadpanned as they began to head back.
XXXXXXXXXX
"Where have you two been?" Shizune asked as they waited outside of the branched forest as a special crew had gone in to do the disposing of the bodies.
"Investigating elsewhere's." Anko sighed and Shizune scowled slightly.
"We found Kasumi-senpai's battle ground but there was nothing but Tobi's shattered mask and one of her kunai… It wasn't a hard battle and it wasn't a long one. We suspect Tobi used his space/time jutsu to transport them as there was no evidence of them leaving the area by foot from what we can see." Kabuto explained.
"So what's happened to Kasumi-sensei then?" Sakura asked from a stretcher that had a sleeping Tsunade on it with the other Kage and rescued samurai lying around and being tended to.
"You don't think Tobi might have killed her?" Shizune asked as Tsunade's one eye opened.
"She never returned to Konoha?" Tsunade asked as they turned to look at their fallen Kage.
"Soon after Kasumi-senpai had evacuated the escorts, Tobi apparently showed up to stop them but Kasumi used herself to let the others get away and most likely, by the land, a short battle ensured." Kabuto explained.
"So she's most likely dead?" Shizune asked and Anko shook her head.
"Her kunai we found is still buzzing with energy… She's alive but where and what state we don't know." Anko explained and Sakura frowned sadly and Tsunade scowled.
"Any evidence of Tobi?" Tsunade asked.
"His shattered mask and no evidence of tracks leaving the area but there was a body imprint on the ground of someone who definitely didn't get up straight away." Kabuto explained, holding both sets of evidence up in little plastic bags.
"Then we take them back and try to uncover any clues from them… But I'll need Minato's help with that kunai, maybe he can trace it back to Kasumi and bring her home safely." Tsunade said as Kabuto put the evidence back into his pouch for safekeeping.
"What is the status of everyone we found here?" Kabuto asked, looking at all of the stretchers along the ground with bundled up people in them sleeping.
"The Kages are all pretty roughed up but alive and stable enough to make it back to their countries. More than half of the samurai have been recovered, including Mifune-san who is the leader of the samurais that we managed to get some information out of… Tsunade-sama was worse off out of all of them, Sakura and I had spent our entire time with Katsuyu trying to reconnect her lower body with her torso but she's stable and it was a success." Shizune explained.
"Kakashi's going to be relieved." Anko smirked.
"What are we going to do with the rescued samurai?" Kabuto asked.
"Some of the extra teams are already transporting them slowly to the next town over where they have back up waiting for them and ready to give them full medical attention." Shizune explained and Anko and Kabuto nodded.
"We're all going to start heading back Shizune-san." Matsuri from Suna said quickly as she came running up.
"Very well. Take good care of them and I'm sure our countries will be talking soon. Have a safe trip." Shizune said and Matsuri nodded with a quick goodbye as she caught up with her squad as they saw others leaving as well.
"We should head back too and report in as soon as possible." Kabuto said and Shizune nodded.
"We'll take turns in pairs carrying Tsunade-sama back, Sakura and I will go first." Shizune explained as they all nodded and the two mentioned picked up the stretcher as they began the trek back to Konoha.

"So Tsunade-sama is back and her life not in danger?" Shikaku asked the four-man team who had returned back with Tsunade and explained the situation to him and Kakashi who was sitting at a desk and tapping his finger against the desk.
"She'll need some time to recuperate but she'll be fine soon enough." Shizune explained.
"Any news about Naruto Sensei?" Sakura asked and Kakashi nodded.
"They've apparently gained control over the Kyuubi's chakra and are doing Naruto's cover mission as we speak but they'll be staying there longer just to train a little more with this new power… Did anyone find anything about Kasumi out there?" Kakashi asked reluctantly. They all saw the clear flinch in Kakashi as Kabuto took her kunai out of the cloth and laid it on the desk gently. Kakashi stared at it for a while before reaching forwards and picking up the ninja tool so delicately as if it would break if jostled to hard.
"Is that it?" Shikaku asked and Kabuto brought out the shattered orange pieces as they saw anger rise in Kakashi's one visible eye.
"Kasumi had managed to shatter his mask." Anko explained.
"So we don't know about my imouto's status?" Kakashi asked with angered desperation but Shikaku just put his hand on Kakashi's shoulder.
"You know her best, just touching that kunai should be enough to tell you." Kabuto snapped rather harshly as Kakashi looked down at the kunai in his hand and his eye widened slightly?
"She's alive?" He asked and Kabuto shrugged.
"Most likely if she's made that seal the way it's meant to. Minato-sama would know more about the residual chakra on the Hiraishin seal." Kabuto responded and Kakashi's eye softened down at the ninja tool as he sighed.
"That's going to have to wait… Sensei will freak if he finds out Kasumi is missing after a battle with Tobi. We just have to hope she's okay and out there somewhere, trying to make her way home." Kakashi sighed as he tucked the kunai back into the cloth and picked up the orange shards in a bag. "But this is definitely Tobi's mask."
"Meaning Kasumi probably knows the true identity of Tobi… Finding her is of high importance but there's other things that will need addressing first Kakashi." Shikaku explained and Kakashi nodded.
"Give Tsunade-sama the utmost care and medical attention to get her up and going strong again. I'd like to ask everyone to spare a summoning to search for Kasumi across the lands and hopefully find her soon and we'll take that issue from there… Can I trust you three to hand the issues of medical supplies and such? Let me know if you need anything. Anko, talk to ANBU and see if we can get an around the clock stake out of what you've found about Madara' possible base." Kakashi instructed as they all straightened and nodded before they left and Kakashi sighed as he leaned back in his chair and reached for Kasumi's kunai again as he stared down at it.
"Don't regret your choice Kakashi, it'll only make you feel worse about this." Shikaku explained and Kakashi nodded.
"I know but I really shouldn't have left her alone to deal with this yet her logic was unintentionally flawed… I can see everyone doubting her loyalties the longer she's missing." Kakashi growled.
"I know this may not be what you want to hear Kakashi… But Kasumi running off with Akatsuki again is not a complete impossibility and she knows where the Kyuubi is and if something happens out there, it's going to make people even more suspicious of her." Shikaku explained sternly as he felt Kakashi tense up under his hand, which he quickly removed as Kakashi's aura crackled with slight lightning.
"I just… I guess I'm just conflicted about this right now." Kakashi sighed as his posture sagged again.
"I can understand. On one hand, you completely dismiss the entire possibility yet there's a little piece of you that can't help but wonder if it could be true, that she has played everyone this whole time… Only time will tell us which side she has chosen and whether or not we'll have to face her betrayal or just misconception on her return as a Konoha shinobi." Shikaku explained and Kakashi nodded before standing up.
"I'm going to visit Tsunade-sama for a while. Call me if you need me but I'll be back in time for the conference call with the other countries." Kakashi said before he walked out tensely and Shikaku smiled slightly.
"The one thing Hatake Kakashi will ever be on time for…"
"I said to line up straight! Hurry up and get into the tunnel! Listen up, the ecological survey will begin once you're inside." Naruto instructed the animals as they all lined up to enter the island's shell after Motoi received a message about Kasumi's disappearance and Yamato and Fugaku had kept tight lipped about it… The island could be compromised now.
Naruto flinched as an armadillo cozied up to him. He had spent the rest of the day talking to King, the lead Gorilla of the island only to find the other three big bosses, a penguin, koala bear and a hippo fighting over a girl that King had claimed when the armadillo came rolling up and got attached to Naruto… It was the girl the other four were fighting over and the brawl wasn't pretty as Naruto was roughed up with a bandage around his head and the other animals also had bandages on.
"Hey, you want to fight again?" Naruto threatened when the four had looked back at Naruto as the armadillo nuzzled Naruto again… Needless to say, the other four animals turned very quickly to face the front again. "Damn, it's tough moving all of these animals…" Naruto sighed, pushing the armadillo away.
"I win again! Rock, paper, scissors! And I'm going to win again forever and ever!" Bee exclaimed, playing rock, paper, scissors with a crab with his giant Hachibi hand behind Naruto.
"Hey there octopus and crab! Get back into line!" Naruto began to rant at them as Motoi, Yamato Fugaku and now Gai watched from the mouth of the cave, Minato having taken Kushina back to their residence and HQ to get her hands checked out properly.
"As long as there is a risk, no matter how small, of Akatsuki finding out about this place, taking refuge inside of the giant turtle shell is a wise move." Yamato said with his arms crossed.
"Plus Naruto is really taking this mission seriously." Fugaku added.
"Either jinchuuriki finding out about this situation will be disastrous. Neither Naruto nor Minato-sama will take the news quietly and will rush out to find Kasumi as soon as possible. We must prevent that at all costs." Yamato added as they all nodded.
"Kakashi must be taking this news roughly." Gai added and all of them nodded.
"We just have to have faith that Kasumi is just missing and not actually betraying us." Fugaku added as they all nodded again. They all followed Naruto and the last of the animals inside soon enough and Naruto began his 'mission'.
"I'm going to start on the ecological survey." Naruto began and the armadillo stood up and walked away and Naruto ran to stop it and it rolled up into a ball. "Hey, Octopops, I can't tell whether this one is male or female. It's body's all curled up." Naruto asked Bee who was dancing?
"This armadillo's always been shy. If you're trying to check gender, I can see why. The chorus sings out about this super abnormality… Because now we see a human's real perverted personality…" Bee rapped as King, the penguin, Koala bear and Hippo were singing out in disagreement.
"I have no choice! This is a top-secret S-rank mission and I have to make a list for the Animal unit… And checking for gender is crucial ya know!" Naruto yelled in outrage at Bee.
"Male, female, it doesn't matter. So just report it's the latter." Bee said and Naruto pouted as he jumped up onto the armadillo's back and began checking.
"The markings on the back say male." Naruto complained.
"That's just a pattern." Bee replied.
"I just have a bad feeling about this… Ask the armadillo will ya ji-chan. You're the boss here right?" Naruto asked and Bee walked up to the armadillo and asked it but it just shook its head.
"It says its 'privates are private'." Bee replied and Naruto sighed with annoyance.
"Dammit, how am I suppose to get any work done… This super S-rank mission living up to its name or what?!" Naruto yelled in annoyance.
"Male and female, some species can switch through both, Yo… But heaven and earth can never switch places, Yo. Fool ya fool." Bee explained and Naruto seemed slightly creped out by that fact.
"So, who's betting here?" Gai asked them before Yamato saw Motoi tense up.
"Is something wrong?" Yamato asked him quietly.
"Impossible… They've found this place already? Th-There's no way…" Motoi said as they all stiffened up before everything began to tip upside down.
"Wood style: Deep Forest Emergence Jutsu." Yamato called, creating a forest on the roof as everyone landed safely.
"What happened?" Naruto questioned dazily.
"Heaven and Earth really did trade places, Yo. Fool ya fool." Bee rapped and Naruto finally got the chance to see the armadillo is actually male and began writing it down.
"This is no time to be doing an ecological survey!" Yamato yelled.
"Calm down Yamato… Leave him be." Fugaku said with his sharingan already active as he was ready for anything.
"Something must have happened outside… But we have to keep fooling them… We can't let any of them leave this place." Motoi added.
"What about Minato-sensei and Kushina-san?" Gai asked.
"They should be okay if they were inside our HQ but there's no doubt in my mind they won't try and figure out what happened." Motoi explained.
"Then we handle it along the way and keep quiet about Kasumi's disappearance. Let's get moving." Fugaku said.
"Naruto, we'll be right back." Gai called and Naruto just waved as his eyes stayed glued to the clipboard.

"Are you all right Kushina?" Minato asked, having recovered quickly as everything was upside down and caught Kushina in his arms.
"I'm fine, thanks Minato." Kushina grinned before he put her down. "But what's happened?" Kushina wondered as they looked up at the now roof.
"Something must have happened to the island… And one huge chakra." Minato scowled.
"You don't think its Madara do you?" Kushina worried and Minato shook his head.
"No, it's not his chakra. It's someone else but it's just as big a possibility it may be Akatsuki." Minato said before looking at Kushina. "I'm going to check it out, stay here and be careful, I'll come back once I know what happened." Minato said before he was gone in a flash of yellow.
"Be careful…"
XXXXXXXXXX
"That… Is one huge shark…" Yamato said as they got to the belly of the island as they saw a giant fin circling it.
"But where's the summoner… That's the question…" Fugaku said, his sharingan scanning the area.
"So everything did turn upside down." Minato said as he arrived by Hiraishin by a mark on one of them.
"I'll make this simple… Give me the jinchuuriki and I'll be on my way." Kisame said as the shark raised its head and he was standing on it with his sword sitting comfortably on his shoulder.
"We won't be handing ourselves over." Minato said angrily as he threw his kunai and flashed over, already in Kyuubi Chakra Mode as he brought his heel down but Kisame had dodged into the water but Minato's kick did hurt the shark as it's tail appeared out of the water from the force.
"He has an advantage here." Gai told them as they all looked around for him to appear out of the water at any time. "He's a water style user."
"Water style: Thousand hungry sharks." Kisame called out as a wave appeared and sharks began to appear and heading over towards Minato who was sitting on the shark with a sprained ankle from such a hard and over powered kick.
"Sixth Gate of Joy open!" Gai called before jumping up into the air. "Asakujaku!" Gai called as he began to punch the air as flaming balls of fire began towards the sharks and began to hit them one by one.
"Fire style: Fire Phoenix Jutsu." Fugaku called as he began to help Gai in taking the sharks out and Yamato sent wood forwards and retrieved Minato off of the giant shark's head and brought him over to him and Motoi.
"Whoa, this is a huge barge. I shall take care of the sharks." Bee rapped as he appeared in his Hachibi form and began to work with Gai in getting rid of the sharks and handle the giant one that was recovering from the over powered kick to the head.
"We'll take care of Kisame." Fugaku said, standing with Yamato and Motoi around Minato as he bandaged his ankle up quickly.
"Minato-san, can you sense him?" Yamato asked and Minato scowled slightly.
"Right behind you… Wind style: Rasen-Shuriken!" Naruto yelled coming up behind them and hitting Kisame point blank with the jutsu as he used the massive speed boost he got from the Kyuubi's chakra to quickly move them out of the blasts range. The next second they all braced for Gai's Hirudora and a Bijuu Bomb from Bee, taking out the rest of the summoned sharks.
"Must be painful to be left alive after such a devastating attack… But now we can get information out of him." Fugaku said as he nodded to Yamato who quickly caught Kisame's arms and head into a stock.
"You're capable despite your thick looks, Bushier Brows… But that blue sweat of your packs some pows." Bee rapped as he walked back with Gai. Fugaku slowly got onto one knee in front of Kisame and made him look into the sharingan as he was instantly entranced.
Memories and thoughts flashed by through Kisame's head and past Fugaku's eyes… A terrible life the former Kirigakure shinobi had to lead, killing his own comrades and then his own master but his thoughts were steered elsewhere quickly as he looked deeper into his past life until it came to a stop.
A rainy night as Kisame sat in a cave with a small fire and eating ration food as he waited for someone's arrival.
"Patient as always." A deep voice asked, well known as Madara's voice Tobi was using as he still posed as Madara. Kisame grinned and stood up as the yellow flamed mask stepped into the cave.
"You did say you had someone interesting for me to team up with for now." Kisame said and Tobi nodded before there was a flash of silver and a hooded figure stood calmly next to Tobi.
"Hoshigaki Kisame, meet Hatake Kasumi." Tobi said as hands rose up and pushed the hood back of her Akatsuki robe. Kasumi looked seriously ill, pale and sickly looking skin, dark rings under her eyes and a completely blank and emotionless face and her hair being tied back tightly in a bun made it worse. But Kisame smiled.
"I look forwards to working with you Hoshigaki-san." Kasumi said calmly as her head bowed.
"A former loyal dog of Konoha joining Akatsuki?" Kisame asked. "What about the rumours of her death?"
"Konoha turned on her and now she's here. You both have a lot in common." Tobi explained. "Leader expects you to take good care of her until I come again and retrieve her but be careful, she has a sharp side to her as well." Tobi laughed and Kisame raised an eyebrow as he picked up his sword and held it to her neck but she didn't flinch, and her eyes didn't stray from the floor either. Kisame flinched slightly when he felt the tip of a blade poking him above his naval and tilted his head enough to see a katana coming from Kasumi, hidden by the sheer size of his own sword.
"I do not appreciate the welcome." Kasumi said, suddenly harsh as her eyes raised with a burning blue inferno in them. "Don't ever think we're the same… Gaki who got lost in the mist." Kasumi snarked and Kisame's anger rose as his sword touched her throat but was quickly knocked up as she leaned back slightly as she swung her own katana around to block Samehade against the floor with one hand. "We both belong to Akatsuki so be very weary of me." Kasumi warned and Kisame smiled before he rested Samehade on his shoulder.
"The same goes for me. But let's have fun together." Kisame smiled as he saw Kasumi's katana disappear up her sleeve. "And hope we're not the last to facing each other."
"Those who raise a hand to their comrades never die a simple death."
The scenery changed again as it came to a body of water and Fugaku ended face to face with his eldest son who was battling the Akatsuki.
"We re not fish. We're human and you do not know what kind of human you are until the very end. One realises who they really are at the moment of their death" Itachi said to Kisame.
Fugaku was surprised slightly at how certain words had effected the Akatsuki member as he headed back towards his last days as a shinobi of Kirigakure and Tobi was about to show himself, as the controller of the Yondaime Mizukage until the link was broken.
Kisame had bitten his tongue and began to struggle against his bonds. Fugaku stepped back as they watched in surprise at the strength he still had left even after being struck with the devastating attack of Rasen-Shuriken.
"He bit his tongue… He bit his own tongue off and woke himself up to prevent me from extracting any intel." Fugaku explained as they watched the man beginning to laugh and struggle still until the wood broke. "Capture him alive, we'll never have another chance like this to extract more intel from him." Fugaku ordered but Kisame formed hand seals as a water prison formed around him and stopped Gai from trying to punch him.
"How is it possible? Rasen-Shuriken should have destroyed all of his chakra network?" Minato said out in surprised wonder. Kisame even had enough strength and power to perform a summoning as the sharks devoured him and left bloody water in it's wake as everyone was shell shocked at what just happened.
"Feeding yourself to the shark you just summoned… He was already quite weak. He figured out he couldn't escape us…" Minato said.
"An Akatsuki member who was paired up with Kasumi once and feared as the scourge of Kirigakure. It's hard to believe this is the way Hoshigaki Kisame met his end." Fugaku sighed out as everyone was surprised at his first words.
"Is he really dead?" Motoi asked as Bee walked over to Samehade who seemed in pain as he got on his haunches and stroked the living sword.
"This fella's downhearted. Looks like it's for real. The guy's already departed." Bee rapped solemnly.
"But… He did this so that we, his enemy, wouldn't get any intel… Even in Akatsuki there was someone who put his comrades first, just like Kasumi-sensei does…" Naruto said downheartedly and Gai patted his shoulder.
"He may have been a foe but he died admirably. The measure of a shinobi's life is determined by the manner of his death. Hoshigaki Kisame, I will never forget you." Gai said solemnly as he had fought the man many times before and was quite a challenge for him.
"We need to tip the island back over… Any ideas?" Motoi asked as they all thought about it for a few seconds.
"If we're careful, Naruto and I will use Kyuubi chakra mode with Bee-san's Hachibi mode and I'll summon some toads to help us… Gamabunta's going to kill me for summoning him to the salty sea." Minato sighed as they all began to walk to the edge of the turtle and jumped off to stand on the water.
After five minutes of Gamabunta's ranting, he and two other toads were ready with Killer Bee on one side and Yamato ready to help with his wood style while Naruto and Minato stood on the other side and reached out carefully with chakra hands to grab either side of the turtle as the other side began to lift and push as they began to tip the island back over with a lot of work. As soon as they got back on again, Gai died from the after effects of the seventh gate and collapsed on the floor, practically useless and in a lot of pain as Naruto poked him and Yamato was trying to get Naruto to stop before Bee was poking him too.
"I'm going to send a message back and tell them what's happened… Next time it could be Madara himself arriving." Motoi said as he wrote a note on a pad of paper.
"Let's keep the island on the more then so it'll make it harder for him to possibly find." Minato said and Motoi nodded as he summoned a large bird and tied the message to it as it flew off.
"I'm finished with my mission ya know." Naruto said as he stood up and walked over. "Can we go back to Konoha now?" Naruto asked as everyone tensed up.
"Impatient Naruto, haste makes waste. You still haven't mastered Bijuu Chakra control. So your training, I shall personally patrol… When we're done, Bijuu Chakra will feel like an extension of you. They'll feel like your arms and legs, it's true… YEAH!" Bee rapped as he formed tentacles and pulled his sword out and smashed the ground as he jumped up and began cutting at the blocks. "With your Bijuu Chakra, catch them, stack 'em up like building blocks. Using your chakra and the Bijuu's Chakra, balance those rocks." Bee explained as he grabbed the shaped rocks and stacked them into a perfect tower with the tentacles and Naruto and Minato stared at wonder. "But let's go and do this in the cave where you'll receive no distractions. Yeah." Bee said and Naruto nodded excitedly.
"That will definitely keep them busy. We'll put Kushina in there as well so she can't sense anything either that might be going on out there." Fugaku said and Motoi nodded.
"I'll find Kushina-san." Yamato said as he walked off, picking Gai up along the way as he yelled out in pain.
"It's a good idea…" Minato sighed as he followed after Killer Bee carrying the blocks and Naruto asking excited questions.
"Now all we have to do is wait." Motoi sighed and Fugaku nodded.
"All we have to do is wait."
