CHAPTER 52
Right as everyone sat down to eat, Justin nudged Sawyer. It was his moment. "Can I get everyone's attention for a minute?" Sawyer asked through the mic.
"God can't we just freaken eat already? I'm starving." his brother Derek called out. His mother slapped him, but Sam burst out laughing.
"The servers can keep going. I wouldn't want anyone to starve." Sawyer grumbled. He cleared his throat and brought out a piece of paper and looked down at it.
"He looks nervous." Justin whispered to Brian. Brian just nodded. They were sitting at the biggest table towards the front, closest to the dance floor. They had Justin's mom and sister, and Tucker. Along with Brian's mom and dad. Debbie and Carl. And Gus, Lindsay, Melanie and J.R. Daphne and Sam had somehow weaseled their way to the table, but left their husband and boyfriend to sit at other tables. Sam leaned forward towards Sawyer.
"Show us your tits." Sam said. Not to many people heard her, she wasn't speaking in her usual loud voice. But the people around her who did hear, laughed at her. Sawyer glared at her and she just smiled. He cleared his throat again.
"Ever since me and Teresa had Brian...we always made up these fantasies of what Brian's wedding would be like. How amazing it would be to be able to attend his wedding." Sawyer said, and looked down at his speech again. "I've thought about this day...a million times. So you can say I was a little shocked when this blonde kid comes into my office and says he's going to marry my son." Sawyer said. Justin smiled proudly. "The whole bride thing went sailing right out the window." Sawyer said, making everyone laugh. "I mean I did imagine myself having a daughter-in-law, not a son-in-law." he joked. Justin kept smiling proudly.
"Right after I met Justin...I had an acquaintance say to me, wow, you must have been so disappointed I'm so sorry." Sawyer reveled. "And I just looked at her, and I'm like, did you not just hear my story? I know where my son is. I found my son. I'm going to meet, my son. He's getting married. There's a chance I'll get to go to his wedding. What the hell could disappoint me? That he's gay? You haven't met Justin. I love him already. I didn't just get my son back, I gained another one." Sawyer said. Everyone awed at his speech.
"Preach it brother." Sam said, holding up her arm like she was in church.
"Can I get a hallelujah" Emmett cheered. Laughter filled the room.
"I was surprised that I found out my son was gay. It wasn't something I even thought about. I think most parents always think when their child gets married, it will be to the opposite sex...but from the moment I met Justin...I saw Brian through his eyes. Me and Teresa both saw in this young man, how much he loved our son." Sawyer said. Justin covered his face.
"Oh my God he's gonna make me cry." Justin said. Brian snorted and squeezed the back of his neck.
"Me and Teresa are blessed today. Because that day that Justin Tay-sorry, Kinney-" Sawyer stopped, making the room laugh. Justin pulled his hands away from his face. "That day that Justin came into my office...and knocked on Teresa's door...he brought sunshine back into our lives." Sawyer said. All the girls around the room, and Emmett, awed at this. Justin covered his face.
"Oh God I'm seriously going to cry." Justin said again.
"We're so happy that Justin found us, and we get to celebrate, and share this special day with Brian and Justin. If everyone could raise their glasses." Sawyer said. Everyone raised their glasses. "I want to wish my son, and son-in-law, many years of happiness. Many years of love." Sawyer said. Justin still wasn't looking, but moaning behind his hands, willing himself not to cry. "And the whole bunch of us, want to officially welcome Justin, into this crazy, mental family." Sawyer said. Everyone laughed, including Justin who finally pulled his hands away. "You're stuck with us now Justin. To Brian and Justin Kinney!" Sawyer cheered.
Sawyer sat back down at the table, and Teresa kissed his cheek. "That was beautiful Sawyer." Jennifer said as she patted her eyes with her tissue.
"Yeah and it didn't make my skin crawl. Thank you." Brian joked. Justin smacked his stomach.
"Sawyer that was really just perfect. Don't listen to him." Justin said looking at Brian. Who just smiled.
"Well my speech is going to be way better." Daphne joked as the server gave Justin and Brian their food, and started serving everyone else their food.
"Oh I've read it. It's awesome. Much better then yours." Sam said, trying to tickle Sawyer.
"Didn't you and Michael have a bet who had the best speech?" Molly asked Daphne. The others became a little tense. Molly was part of the wedding party, but she had no idea of what was going on behind the scenes. Brian glanced at Justin who was waiting for an answer, when Sam burst out laughing.
"Oh please. His speech has nothing on Daphne's. She'll win that bet." Sam laughed. Brian smiled at her. Relieved. Justin started digging into the food and moaned.
"Do you know you can have seconds? I hate weddings where you get this small plate of food, and then you dance for hours and your starving again. Nope. Everyone got to pick what they wanted on their plates, and if you want more you just have to ask. Everyone can stuff themselves. And the food is fucking amazing." Justin said, so happy. Brian snorted.
After about ten minutes, Emmett pushed Michael up with the microphone. Brian tensed up. This was the moment that Brian had been dreading. He never thought he'd feel like this, but he didn't even want Michael there. The only reason that he allowed Michael to still be there, was because Justin had this perfect image in his head about his wedding. That including Michael as Brian's Best Man. Sure, he could have substituted someone in there. Fucking Theodore. Or Lindsay. But he didn't want anyone to focus on that. He wanted everyone to focus on Justin. This was his day. Justin would be worried about Brian and what had happened. This should all be about Justin.
Michael stood there nervously and cleared his throat. "Hi everyone. I'm Michael, Brian's Best Man...I've known Brian since we were 14 years old. We've been best friends since the first day that we met. A person is lucky to have a best friend like Brian. Because every day was an adventure. Some type of awful trouble that we could get into. Something worse then the day before. We always liked to throw stink bombs into our teachers desks at school." Michael joked, making the room chuckle. "Brian is the type of friend, that doesn't let you coast through life. He doesn't' let you settle. He makes you get up and seize the day. He makes you grab the bull by the horns..." he looked down at his paper. "I was there the night that Brian and Justin met. And even then I knew something was different. For starters I actually learned his name." Michael said, making everyone chuckle. Brian met Sam's eyes. She nodded and looked over at Lindsay, who nodded her own head and then turned and smiled at Brian. They all worked hard on this speech, he knew.
"Justin became a part of our family that night. Really in the most peculiar way." Michael joked. "i never thought that Brian would ever change his mind on relationships. I never thought that this day would actually happen...but in usual Brian Kinney fashion, he confused everyone and did the exact opposite of what everyone expected. Just to mess with our heads." Michael joked, making everyone laugh once again. "As a best friend, you always want nothing but happiness for your best friend. And that's what I want for you Brian. To Brian and Justin" he said, and then let everyone clap and he walked back to his seat.
"Short and sweet and to the point. I think it's perfect for Brian's best friend. Brian doesn't like romantic and lovey dovey. Just perfect." Sam said. Brian nodded his head. He understood why it was so short. And the reasoning was perfect. Daphne bounced in her chair and turned towards Emmett.
"Can I go now?" she asked. Emmett clapped his hand and nodded and she grabbed the mic and stood up. She picked up her speech, and Brian snorted at all the pages.
"Did she write a fucking book?" Brian asked. Daphne glared at him, and then cleared her throat.
"Hi everyone. I'm Daphne the Maid of Honor. Or as some of you know, the Fag Hag of honor." she said, making everyone laugh. "Me and Justin have known each other since we were in preschool together. Like Brian and Michael have known each other forever. The coolest things about best friends, is that you're not forced to like or love that person, you just gravitate towards each other for whatever that reason. You share secrets, get into trouble together, get angry for the other one, stand by them and go through all there emotions through life, whatever they may be. You understand a side of them, that no one else understands. They're your person." Daphne said and looked up at Justin, who was again, trying not to cry.
"Oh she's good." Teresa said.
"So as I sat down to write this speech I kept thinking to myself, how do I make this speech better then Michael's." she joked, making everyone laugh. "Even now I have to beat Sawyer's. Because let's face it, being Brian Kinney's father and best friend, it's in your blood to come up with the perfect best man speech because of all the drama that comes along with Brian, or even the best father speech, because you share the same blood...but then I realized, I don't need Brian. Because I have Justin." she said and smiled at him.
"Oh God." Justin muttered.
"I had to sit down and figure out which stories I was going to stand here and tell, and I think I've come up with the best stories, from Justin's point of view, in a way no one has ever heard them before. So tonight, I'm going to share some stories about Justin and Brian, from Justin's side. Michael told you a little bit, but I'm gonna tell it from Justin's perspective."
"Oh Jesus." Justin groaned.
"So Justin used to sleep over at my house all the time. One morning his mom called asking if she could talk to him. Right away red flags went up. Justin told her he was at my house, he obviously wasn't. So as the official fag hag, I lied to his mother saying he was still sleeping. I'm so sorry Jennifer." Daphne told his mother, who just laughed and waved it off. "So I get to school to wait for him out front, pissed off beyond belief because he made me lie to his mother. When I hear this car beeping, almost hitting kids and come screeching to a halt in front of the school. The lights broken and the words faggot are written on the side." Daphne laughed. Justin laughed and looked at Brian, who smiled sheepishly.
"And who do I see in the back seat, Justin Taylor! Well, it was Taylor back then. So he gets out, he's talking to some guy, and the jeep leaves, and Justin comes up. I have no idea what's going on, and had no idea that not only did his life change, but my own life was going to change. We were growing up. I start in on him about his mom, and he's just ignoring me, staring at the spot where the jeep left." Daphne said, and Justin gasped.
"Oh God no!" he groaned loudly
"And he says to me, 'I've just seen the face of God. His name is Brian Kinney.'" Daphne said. The room bursted into laughter, and Justin looked horrified. Brian sat back laughing and clapped his hands.
"Oh my God you are soooo dead to me right now." Justin said, his face turning red.
"The face of God." Brian said proudly.
"So all day, he's completely distracted, but we ditched class, and he told me in every single detail of his meeting with God. Brian couldn't have made it simple. Meeting him, talking to him, getting his phone number, asking him out on a date. No Brian brought him home, brought him to meet his son, let him name his son, brought him back to his loft, and gave him a night no gay teenager would ever forget." Daphne said, shaking her shoulders. Everyone was whoohooing all over the place. Jennifer was covering her ears.
"Brian Kinney officially opened the door to Justin's gay new world. Now as I think back to our conversation, a lot of the way we talked, we were kids. I asked him if Brian was his boyfriend, and he scoffed at me saying, we just met. Then I asked him if he loved him. He said I don't know but then he said YES! I love him." Daphne said. Justin turned red again and Brian pinched his cheeks.
"My own little stalker." Brian joked.
"Now I know what you're thinking. No one knows they love someone the first night they meet them. But when you're a teenager, you always fall in love...but with Justin it was different. Brian was the first man he met, but the first man he met, just so happened to be the love of his life." Daphne said sincerely. The girls awed again.
"So after school he takes my car and goes to see Brian again. I get up in the morning and my car is back. So I go over to Justin's to see how the second meeting with the face of God went. And he tells me how mean and cruel Brian was to him. Brian basically stomped on his poor little heart the night before." Everyone awed and said poor Justin. Brian glared.
"So, I do what any best friend does. I come up with a plan to show up this face of God, Brian Kinney. I tell him, go and find another guy, and flaunt him in Brian's face, and he'll come crawling back to you. We get all dressed up and go down to Liberty Ave, and follow him to Babylon, where I see this face of God...My first reaction to seeing him was, 'he's so old'." Daphne said. Everyone started laughing, and Brian's smile fell. It was Justin's turn to laugh at Brian.
"But then we're standing there watching him dance with this hot guy, when he starts dancing with a second hot guy. So we stand there and watch, when Justin walks down there, takes off his shirt, and goes and dances near Brian. So the first guy leaves Brian to dance with Justin, because let's face it, he's younger and hotter." Daphne said. Justin clapped his hands loudly.
"Tell that part again. I love that part." Justin laughed.
"You know, I used to like you." Brian said.
"But then, the second guy starts dancing with Justin to. You should have seen Brian's face. No one leaves Brian Kinney on the dance floor, to dance with another guy. So it's a like a movie that I'm watching. He goes over and pushes the two guys away from Justin and starts dancing with him. And that was how Justin got Brian Kinney, the stud of Liberty Ave. So don't let Brian tell that story any other way. Brian Kinney fell for the whole jealousy routine." Daphne said.
"Fucking bitch." Brian said. Lindsay gasped and covered Gus' ears.
"So a few weeks later, when Justin's mom found out he was gay, Justin totally freaked out and made me drive him around looking for Brian. Because Brian would know what to do." Daphne said dreamily. "I tried to tell him, Brian doesn't care that your mother found out that your gay. But, Justin was persistent. He said, he can tell he cares. That he's going to live with him. He's going to be with him. You'll see...well, I guess I was wrong, and you were right Justin." Daphne said. Justin smiled and looked around.
"See, I told you people tried to talk me down. Fools." Justin said.
"But that didn't stop me from driving him to Brian's, where he screamed in the street for Brian." Daphne continued, making Justin stop smiling, but making Brian laugh. Daphne imitated Justin yelling for Brian. "I ended up driving him to Debbie's to find Brian. And how that night ended up is one that you'll have to ask Justin and Brian." Daphne said. More whoohooing.
"I will throw in here, just to make everyone laugh, how Justin's mom called my house, and I had to take her to where Justin was...he was in a gay bar, following Brian of course, and he was waltzing around the bar with his shirt off. That's all, just had to throw that in there somehow." Daphne laughed. "Then there was the time that he made me ditch our last class, and made me take him to the tattoo parlor to get his nipple pierced. God the stupid things teenagers do." Daphne said.
"Eww you got your nipple pierced" Molly groaned.
"Speaking of really stupid things teenagers do, so Justin moved in with Brian for a little while our senior year. The first time I went there, he took me on this fabulous tour of Brian's loft. Showing me all the expensive furniture, the painting of the naked guy. I never did see that because Brian came out buck naked!" Daphne said. Justin laughed at the memory, and Brian smiled. "If any of you know Brian, he's totally not afraid to parade around naked. So Brian is totally irritated because we woke him up and wanted to know if Justin had any idea about what time it was. He was upset that he was running late, and asked us if we knew how to make some goose disgusting shake, but then asked us to pour him some guava juice. So me and Justin are in the kitchen talking, and Brian comes out, and I will never forget this conversation, because it really does show how much Brian Kinney has changed his thoughts on marriage. So after I poured him his glass of guava juice, and handed it to him, he laughed at me for being so domestic, and told me I'd make an excellent wife. Of course as silly and stupid as I was, I was trying to impress Brian and said some absolute crap about never getting married and being tied down. Of course he said he loved me for that reason. Now, to anyone else, this small conversation really just means nothing. But to those who know Brian Kinney, the man who threw out any complaint he could about marriage, it's amazing that he's actually sitting over there with Justin, and is legally bound to my best friend...Sucker!" she laughed. Justin leaned into Brian and laughed.
"More like fucking stupid." Brian told him.
"So anyways, that day also has huge significance. Brian and Justin both left the loft, and Justin forgot to set the alarm, and Brian was robbed. But don't feel bad. He lived in a terrible neighborhood and had a million guys over, it's amazing he wasn't robbed before." Daphne said. Justin laughed loudly and Brian glared at her and held out his arms.
"That was not my fucking fault." Brian said, earning more glared form Lindsay and Mel.
"So, big bad Brian Kinney, threw poor Justin out, blaming him-"
"It was his fault!" Brian defended himself. Daphne just ignored him.
"I know you should feel bad for Justin. So me and Justin, being teenagers, went to the Diner to eat and talked about what he was going to do next. Justin had to crazy stupid idea, of going to New York and be a GO-GO dancer, because he had seen them at Babylon."
"Don't you forget you wanted to go." Justin told her.
"I'm getting there. So, as the other stupid teenager to this duo, I thought, hey, I could go to. We'll both be GO-GO dancers. Except I had to be back by 11:00." she said, laughing. "So I ask him how the heck he thinks of getting there. And the genius teenager shows me a confirmation number for a plane ticket. He charged it...to Brian's credit card. Which he stole and ran off to New York with." she said. Brian held up his hands.
"Finally someone tells the truth about this story." Brian said.
"So, like the best friend that I am, I drive him to the airport, all excited for him. My best friend is gonna become a go go dancer...and then as I'm leaving, I realize how freaken stupid this is. So I go to Brian's loft, and all around Liberty Ave to find him, I find him at Woody's and tell him that this is all his fault. That he has to go and find him. Which he does, taking the three stooges with him." Daphne said. Emmett and Ted laughed and looked at each other.
"ROAD TRIP! ROAD TRIP! ROAD TRIP!" Emmett and Ted chanted.
"You'll all be happy to know that they did find him in New York. Justin had used Brian's credit card to get a really nice hotel room, and eat room service all night before Brian found him. So he really did have a great time before Brian barged in and dragged him back home. He ended up moving into Debbie's, which I personally loved, because she let us listen to music really loud, no offense Mrs. Taylor..and she'd bring up all this great junk food. And we'd sit up in Justin's room with a comic book hero plastered all over the walls. We'd sit up there, and Justin would talk for hours about Brian Kinney. How much he loved him. How amazing he was. How smart he was. How funny he was. He would draw pictures of him and hang them up on his wall. He'd write his name over and over again." Daphne said. Brian pushed on Justin's shoulders.
"One thing that we talked about was this very moment. I would be giving this epic fag of honor speech, and Brian would be the perfect husband. And they'd live happily ever after...if any of you feel like gagging please feel free to." she laughed
"One thing Justin is, is very courageous. He's not afraid to stand up for himself, or stand up for injustice. There was this kid that was getting picked on in our class, and Justin would stand up for him. Defend him. No matter what the consequence were. That consequence ended up being expelled. It was truly amazing to watch your best friend tell the most hated teacher to F off and then flick him off as he leaves the room. So, he goes to Brian for advise. And we all know, that this advise always leads you down the totally wrong path. Brian's advise ended up having me and Justin standing in the hallway, handing out condoms to everyone who passed. Thank you Brian." Daphne said sarcastically.
"You're welcome." Brian told her.
"Although Brian's advise usually does lead you down a very strange path sometimes...sometimes it leads you down the right one. When no one could get through to Justin about him going to art school, instead of Dartmouth, Brian was the only one to stand there, and make him face it, and do what he wanted to do. To do what made him happy. Could you imagine Justin not being an artist. I shiver at that thought. So thank you Brian, for allowing the fabulous painting that's hanging in my room right now." Daphne said with sincerity.
"The next story, I was not there for at all, and am SO sad that I missed it. But one night, all the guys went to Babylon, Brian was once again being mean to poor Justin. So, Justin, with me there in spirit of course, came up with a total Daphne idea, and went to show Brian up. Make him jealous. So he entered the King Of Babylon contest." Daphne said, earning a few jabs and screams. Justin covered his face and laughed.
"I know for everyone at the bachelor party you got to see a reenactment, but...Justin got up on stage and stripped in front of everyone. He ended up winning and became the King Of Babylon. The result of that was...Brian Kinney was soooo jealous." she sang, earning Brian flicking her off.
"And if you don't believe me, you can ask Justin, Michael, Emmett, Ted and Blake who were all there and witness to his jealousy. Ok so I have told a bunch of funny stories. But, I have a few serious one's. This is from my point of view, not Justin's. But it was the first time that I realized, that Brian actually cared about Justin. When Brian came to our prom and surprised Justin." Daphne said. Justin took a deep breath.
"Justin couldn't get his Sunshine smile off of his face...but Brian...now I know he's going to kill me for saying this, but Brian had a total different look about him that night. I knew it that night. He loved Justin." Daphne said proudly.
"After that, Brian was really trying to help Justin after our prom...and no one could really get through to him, of course, except for Brian. Brian called me up, and asked me to help him. And I went over to the loft, playing songs that we danced to, and what they danced to. And I watched them dance again, and the look I saw on Brian's face was totally different. It was killing him that Justin was in pain. That he went totally against anything he ever believed in, and did something totally loving, and the one person he wanted to remember, couldn't. He was devastated for Justin...but Brian did whatever he could to help him and push him forward, like getting him a computer to help him with his art. And he tried to deny that he loved him. HA." Daphne yelled at him. Justin laughed.
"And you wouldn't believe how Justin would go on and on and on and on about all the great things about living with Brian. Oh Daph he always brings home the most expensive alcohol. And when he goes shopping he actually picks out things for me. Even though I totally don't care about Gucci and Prada." Daphne said. Brian held a hand over his heart.
"OUCH...that hurts." Brian said sadly.
"It was like this all time. Brian this and Brian that. He's so wonderful. He's so amazing." Daphne mocked. "Justin's very lucky that I loved him as much as I do, because hearing about Brian 24/7 is nauseating. Now, I do have another story. Not to put a damper on anything, BUT when you hear what happens towards the end, you'll totally understand why. So Justin and Brian did break up, and Justin was with someone else." Daphne said and pretended to gag. "But as his best fag hag, I went along with him. But can I just say, Brian I really missed you. I wouldn't mind hearing about the obnoxious sex joke Brian made for the millionth time, or what they ate and how amazing he is, just so he was back in Justin's life. Because, that spark that made Justin who he was, wasn't there. Debbie calls him Sunshine, and everyone knows why, because of his smile." Daphne said. Justin smiled, and Brian couldn't help but appreciate Daphne at that moment. She was rooting for them all along.
"But...it wasn't the same Sunshine smile that was there before. Now looking back, I think for them, this separation was definitely good for them in the long run. And Justin broke up with the other guy. Whoohoo, which really did make me happy. And I was happy because he moved in with me. But God what a miserable human being he was. He moped around the apartment, staring at the wall. He tells me he's having all these crazy dreams about Brian, and how much he misses him. How much he wants him back. So I'm completely annoyed. Why is he sitting in this apartment complaining to me about this? Go get him back. So I tell him, go and tell him. He gives me an excuse why he can't. So I say, write him a letter. Another excuse. I laugh and tell him to attempt suicide. Another excuse. So then, again, being the best friend that I am, I see that it's my job to get them back together. So, I come up with the brilliant plan, and this is why Brian Kinney, that you finally got him back, because of me!" she points to herself.
"I tell him my brilliant plan. Be everywhere that Brian is. It's that simple. Show up everywhere where he is. So for Brian, it's actually pretty easy to stalk him. He's very predictable. He eats at the Liberty Diner all the time, and where does Justin work? The Diner. So that was easy enough. Where does Brian love to go and party? Babylon. So, Justin keeps showing up at Babylon. But, where does Brian spend most of his day? At work. So, I had to figure out how to get Justin in there, when it hits me. Justin's school internship program. So he gets a job as an intern in the art department. Showing up everywhere Brian is. It's really brilliant if I do say so myself. Brian didn't even last a full week before he caved, and he and Justin were back together. Thanks to me!" she said
"You two are fucking stalkers." Brian said.
"Now, I do have more stories, but they are unfortunately to inappropriate for the children, so if you do want to find out what Justin's response was to, do you ever think about having kids? Because we were babysitting Jenny Rebecca and it made me ask him that question, please stop me and ask me." Daphne said.
"NO DON'T YOU DARE!" Justin yelled.
"I have put in a lot of blood, sweat, and tears into this relationship. So you two better not mess up all my handy work on keeping you together. Justin, you're my best friend, and I'm lucky to have you as my best friend for almost 20 years. I wanted nothing but to see you happy, and as I look at you today...I know that you've finally found, don't hit me Brian...but you finally found your happy ever after." Daphne said. Justin looked over and smiled at Brian.
"And Brian. I've watched for you six years now. Me and Justin weren't the only one's to have grown up. You really have. And I love how much you love him. You're always right there, to love him, to protect him, to take care of him, and tell him when he's being stupid and needs to be careful. And always push him to be the best person that he can be."
"The best homosexual that he can be!" Brian clarified.
"Excuse me...I've always been able to come to you when it comes to Justin, because you've always taken care of him. Raise up your glasses people. I wish you both all the happiness in the world. And I don't know two better people for each other, then you both." Daphne said. Justin smiled and Brian snorted, clinking his glass to Justin's.
"Are we done with the fucking speeches already?" Brian asked.
"I actually have one more surprise. You know most of those songs at Babylon are totally obscure to find. They're all these crazy mixes of songs that you'll never hear again. And I've been searching high and low for this song. And I finally found the song. The very first song that Justin and Brian ever danced to at Babylon, the night he stole two guys away from Brian, and Justin got his man." Daphne laughed, making Brian roll his eyes. She nodded towards the D.J., and he started playing a song. Justin's eyes widened and he excitedly jumped in his seat.
"Oh my God. It's that Boy Wonder song!" Justin screeched, shaking Brian's arms.
"I'm trying to eat. Turn this crap off." Brian grumbled. Daphne just laughed and sat down.
He won't trust anyone but me.
After a long day...
Justin looked at Daphne. "What was that line?" he asked her.
"Yeah it's not the best quality. The beginning is hard to understand." Daphne said as another line was sung that he really couldn't understand. But the chorus was clear as day.
Hey look, the real boy wonder is here.
Everybody's gonna stand up and cheer.
See him shining so bright.
Like a sky full of stars at night.
Hour after hour.
He's got the super power.
The real boy wonder is here.
And he's all mine.
"Ahhh the triumph I had that night. Getting twoooo guys away from you." Justin said proudly. Brian eyed him. Sawyer and Theresa laughed.
"Oh my God you should have seen Brian when he got so jealous and how he literally pushed the guys out of the way so he could dance with Justin himself." Daphne yelled. Brian pointed at her.
"You shut the hell up." Brian told her.
Hey hey hey, whoa whoa whoa
Hey look, the real boy wonder is here.
Everybody's gonna stand up and cheer.
See him shining so bright.
Like a sky full of stars at night.
Hour after hour.
He's got the super power.
The real boy wonder is here.
And he's all mine.
The lyrics repeated themselves a few more times before it ended. "Oh my God Daph that was the best present ever. Thank you." justin said and went over and hugged her tightly.
"I'm trying to eat." Brian grumbled as Justin sat back down. Justin smacked his shoulder. They all started digging into their food.
"I love what your wrote on my ring." Justin said softly to him. Brian tilted his head and smiled.
"Yeah I figured you would. You like all that romantic crap." Brian rolled his eyes. Justin laughed and kissed his cheek.
"You know anyone else would be pissed that their husbands were so fucking grumpy on their wedding day. You're just lucky I love you so much and find it to be charming." Justin smiled, making Brian snort. "Thank you for this." Justin said, looking around the room. "Everything has been so perfect so far. And I love it." Justin said and kissed him softly. Brian smiled.
"You can thank me later with a mind numbing blow job." Brian said and smiled. Justin laughed and smacked his chest. "Hey you made an agreement with me. After we're married you said you'd still blow me if I fucked you in every room of Britin." Brian reminded him. Justin laughed loudly and covered his mouth with a napkin. A server came up to them and held a tray out with a Fortune Cookie. It was larger then the regular one's, and Justin stared at it strangely.
"What's that?" Justin asked as he took it off the tray. Brian gave him a funny look.
"I don't know. Why don't you read it." Brian faked. Justin chuckled and cracked it open and read it and burst out laughing, covering his mouth.
"What does it say?" Molly asked from the other side of the table. Brian smiled proudly and Justin just held the fortune to his chest.
"Oh my God this is awesome. Thank you." he laughed. Justin smiled fondly at the memory. 'The man you love will slowly and sensually peel off all his clothes for you, exposing his perfect body. Then he will take out his beautiful dick, and you can suck it. Next he'll rim your ass to get you crazy, then ram his cock up you. And fuck you so hard you pass out. In bed or on the floor.' He remembered that night they were eating Chinese food and Justin had joked about what his fortune said. He burst out laughing.
"I love this. And I never even expected it." Justin said. Brian leaned in to whisper in his ear.
"I was gonna save that for tonight, but thought what the hell. It's exactly what's gonna happen tonight when you finally let me get you the fuck out of here." Brian whispered and pulled back. He was making it very hard on Justin. Literally.
"So how many minutes after we say 'I do' do I get to do you?" Brian asked one morning when he was getting dressed, and Justin was laying in bed still. Naked, and just enjoying watching Brian get ready for work.
"Not till the wedding night." Justin said and smiled. Brian stopped his movements and stared at him. "I'm serious. We have a tight schedule. Right after the ceremony we take some pictures, and then go right up to the Reception. They'll be dancing, and drinking and eating. We won't have time for fucking. Not until after we dance our last dance for the night, and everyone starts winding down do we get to go back to the Honeymoon suite." Justin said and smiled.
"I have to wait all fucking day to fuck you?" Brian asked. Justin smiled and nodded.
"I've been waiting for this day my whole life. I want to soak it all up. Every second. And I can't do that if I'm off fucking my husband."
"Trust me. You won't be fucking anyone. It'll be me who will be fucking you." Brian said and turned back to the closet. "But not for a whole fucking day apparently because Sunshine wants to soak up every moment." he mocked, making Justin laugh.
"Trust me. It'll be worth the wait." Justin said and smiled, wiggling his eyebrows, making Brian snort. After they all ate dinner, Emmett came over and said they were starting the dancing off with the boys dancing with their moms. Brian rolled his eyes.
"This is becoming more and more of a hetero wedding reception." Brian grumbled, making Justin laugh. He whispered something in Brian's ear about the mom's dance and he nodded. Justin went over and took his mom's hand. Brian went over to Teresa and held out his hand to her.
"Come on." he told her. She smiled and took his hand and followed Justin and Jennifer. Brian looked at Teresa. "You're not going to start crying are you?" he asked. She shrugged her shoulders as she turned towards Brian.
"I can't make any promises that I won't." She said. He took her hand and put his other on her back as the song started up. She gasped and looked over at Justin who was dancing with his mother, and he smiled at her. The tears spilled over her face.
"What?" Brian asked.
"This song...Sawyer must have told him." Teresa said as she looked over at Sawyer. Everyone had gathered around to watch and take pictures, and he was standing there, smiling.
The first time ever I saw your face.
I thought the sun rose in your eyes.
And the moon and the stars were the gifts you gave.
To the dark and the endless skies, my love.
To the dark and the endless skies.
"What about this song?" Brian asked. She wiped at her face.
"I listened to this song after...the hospital." she said and cleared her throat. After they gave him to Joan. "And I listened to it over and over again...and after we moved to West Virginia...Sawyer's family came to visit...I didn't know they were coming. It was to cheer me up. And Sawyer walked in on me, and this song was playing...I was upset that I'd never see you again...and Sawyer said I'd get to dance at your wedding." she laughed and wiped her face. "That it would happen. And I'd get to dance to this crappy depressing song with you, and it wouldn't be a sad song anymore." she laughed and looked over at him, who was still watching her very intently. "We were kids then, and I believed it. But somewhere along the way I stopped believing it. And that dummy is just reminding me that he's usually always fucking right." she laughed.
And the first time ever I kissed your mouth.
I felt the earth move in my hand.
Like the trembling heart of a captive bird.
That was there at my command, my love.
That was there at my command, my love.
"That was really sweet. Picking this song for her." Jennifer said. Justin smiled.
"I wanted little surprises here and there for him. I know he wanted this day to all be about me. But I wanted something for him to ya know. And Teresa's never danced with Brian before. I just wanted to make it special for them." Justin said. Jennifer got teary eyed. "Oh come on mom don't cry." he said. She chuckled and wiped at her face.
"I can't help it. I'm dancing with my son on the day that he got married...I dreamt of this day the moment I held you."
"I'm sure you didn't see me marrying a guy." he joked, making her laugh.
"No. I have to admit that part surprised me." she told him. And then took a deep breath. "I'm not sad about that at all...I love Brian. And all I've ever wanted was for you to be loved. And he loves you." Jennifer said. Justin smiled.
"Yeah. And he finally admitted it in front of everyone." he joked.
"I hope we can stay in touch." his mother laughed.
And the first time ever I lay with you.
I felt your heart so close to mine.
And I knew our joy would fill the earth.
And last 'til the end of time, my love.
And it would last 'til the end of time, my love.
"I don't get it. You love him. We all know you love him. Then why the fuck haven't you married him already?" Brian asked. Teresa gulped.
"Brian. There's so much about me and Sawyer that you don't know. There's such a long history. And it's complicated." Teresa said.
"So uncomplicated it." Brian told her.
"You sound like a kid. Wanting to get his parents back together." she said softly.
"I'm not a little kid. I'm an adult, and I know what complicated means. If you want to be miserable for your whole life then that's fine with me. But don't expect him to keep waiting around.. because he's going back to Boston, and you never know when he'll find that one person who will marry him." Brian told her. Teresa just gulped.
"Aren't we supposed to be talking about you? It's your wedding day." Teresa told him. He snorted.
"And I'm sure if Sunshine overheard he'd go all crazy. Not having the attention on him." Brian chuckled.
"Sounds like Monica on Friends." she said. Brian raised an eyebrow at her. "What you think I'm to old to be watching Friends or something?" Teresa demanded and he smiled at her.
"Fortunately you look young enough to even know what the show is." Brian said, making her smile.
The first time ever I saw your face.
Your face.
Your face.
Your face.
When the song ended, Justin whispered to Jennifer to stand off to the side with Teresa, and Justin walked over to Debbie, who was startled. "You get a turn to. You've been like a mom to both me and Brian. And you deserve a dance just as much as our mothers do." Justin said. Debbie covered her mouth to keep from crying as Justin laughed and pulled her onto the dance floor and over to Brian, who held out his arm. She let out a sob and hugged him. Justin went over and grabbed Teresa and moved to dance with her.
I hope the days come easy and the moments pass slow.
And each road leads you where you want to go.
And if you're faced with the choice and you have to choose.
I hope you choose the one that means the most to you.
And if one door opens to another door closed.
I hope you keep on walkin' 'til you find the window.
If it's cold outside, show the world the warmth of your smile.
But more than anything, more than anything.
"I can't believe you did this for me." Debbie told Brian. He just shrugged.
"It's all Sunshine. He just told me what to do and I did it." Brian said and snorted. "I didn't even know how any of this day was supposed to go. He just tells me where to go and what to do and I just do it." Brian said, rolling his eyes. Debbie smiled.
"You've changed...so much from that teenager I met all those years ago." She said, choking on her words a little. "I have loved you like a son. I've treated you like one. Given you a roof over your head...and given you tough love when you needed someone to talk some sense into your brain." she told him, making Brian chuckle. "I am so proud of the man that you are today...I always knew you were capable of loving someone...and I told you you loved Sunshine." Debbie said. Justin looked over at Justin dancing with his own mother, laughing. He looked back at Debbie and nodded his head.
"Are you happy mother? You were right...he made it in under the wire." Brian said, repeating her words from long ago. "The little fuck." he grumbled, making her laugh.
My wish for you.
Is that this life becomes all that you want it to.
Your dreams stay big, your worries stay small.
You never need to carry more than you can hold.
And while you're out there gettin' where you're gettin' to.
I hope you know somebody loves you.
And wants the same things too.
Yeah, this is my wish.
"You have made all my dreams come true Justin. Thank you so much for finding me. I never thought I'd be here today. And I am so so grateful for you." Teresa said. Justin just smiled.
"I'm glad I found out about you when I did. I've always wanted this big wedding. I just never thought I'd get one. And your family definitely made that possible." he joked. She smiled and wiped at her eyes.
"Thank you for loving him as much as you do." she said. He hugged her and she let go of him and went over to stand on the side again, next to her mom. Justin tapped on Brian's shoulder.
"Good get her away from me." Brian grumbled, pushing her lightly. Debbie turned around and punched him in the arm.
"You animal." she grouched as she turned and started dancing with Justin. Brian went over and held out his hand to Jennifer and she smiled and started dancing with him.
I hope you never look back but you never forget.
All the ones who love you.
And the place you left.
I hope you always forgive and you never regret.
And you help somebody every chance you get.
Oh, you find God's grace in every mistake.
And always give more than you take.
But more than anything, yeah more than anything.
"There's something I've wanted to say...for a very long time. And I've never found the right moment to say it." Jennifer said. Brian eyed her carefully. "Do you remember that day...when you were sitting on my front porch with Justin throwing the ball?" she asked. How could he forget that day. She asked him to never see her son again. And it broke his heart. Not that he would have admitted that. But it did.
"Aren't things like that the things you're not supposed to talk about at a wedding?" Brian asked. She nodded her head.
"There are times in a parents life...when all of a sudden you blink. And they're all grown up...and sometimes you didn't even realize when it happened. But there adults...and after his accident...I couldn't bare to let him go. But he was an adult. He was ready to go off on his own...and that day I asked you to leave him alone was wrong of me. I never should have asked you to stay away. But more important Brian...I never should have blamed you for what happened to him." she broke off, wiping at her face.
"Don't worry about it. It was my fault." he admitted. But she shook her head.
"No. It wasn't. And I was terribly wrong. It was wrong of me to blame you. You feeling guilty...I'm sorry Brian. If I made you believe that it was your fault. I'm sorry. And I'm so sorry for blaming you." she whispered. He shrugged.
"It doesn't matter anymore...he finally remembered that day." Brian told her. She tilted her head. "He remembered prom but...last night he finally remembered me being there...so it's ancient history for him now." Brian said.
This is my wish.
I hope you know somebody loves you.
May all your dreams stay big.
"How's it feel Mr. Kinney? To finally have your husband?" Debbie asked.
"Euphoric." he answered.
This is my wish...for you.
After the dance was over, the music started up again, with louder music, and everyone got out there to dance. It had been almost an hour of nothing but dancing. Sawyer and Teresa were near the door, and Carl came in looking worried. "What's the matter?" sawyer asked. Carl motioned for them to come outside the door and into the hallway. They followed him out and looked around.
"We kind of have some bad news." Carl said. He told them in a hushed voice and Teresa looked at Sawyer.
"What should we do?" she asked him. He opened the door and saw Sam run over to the side table to drink from one of Teresa's nephews glasses of water. He went over and grabbed her and whispered in her ear. She pulled back and stared him with eyes wide. She nodded her head and ran over to the D.J. and talked to him for a minute, and then went around grabbing different people to stand up and dance, making a huge crowd. Just as the D.J. started playing 'Jump on It', Sam whispered to Brian and he went out into the hallway.
"What's wrong?" Brian asked. Carl and Teresa looked at Sawyer.
"You have some guests that are downstairs." Sawyer said. Brian waited for him to continue. "Do you want the bad news, or the really bad news?" he asked.
"Just fucking tell me." Brian demanded.
"Joan and Claire are here. They're waiting in the lobby and won't go until they speak with you." Sawyer said. Brian groaned and rubbed his face.
"Ok. Is that the worst?" Brian asked.
"Craig is here...he's in the office." Sawyer said, looking at Carl.
"Why isn't he in the lobby?" Brian asked.
"Because he came in here drunk. And got into a fight with a hotel worker. He hit someone with a vase when they wouldn't let Craig up here." Carl said, making Brian groan again.
"Jesus fucking Christ...you need to make sure you keep Justin occupied." Brian told his parents.
"Sam already took care of that. She has the D.J. playing all those songs that have those obnoxious dance moves. Like Gangnam Style. She said she had a list of at least six songs. So you have before then to come back before he notices that your not just dancing, but you're not even there." Sawyer said. Brian was taking back by that. They already figured all that out.
"Ok...I'll go deal with her first. I don't want him coming out here and seeing her." Brian said. And before they could reply, he turned and walked over to the banister and looked down in the lobby. He saw Claire standing there with her arms crossed. He growled and walked down the hall and took the stairs down, and walked over to where he saw her standing. He saw Joan sitting in her wheelchair, with an oxygen mask on her face. "What the hell are you two doing here?" Brian demanded as he walked up to them. Claire spun around.
"Mom wanted to come and talk to you." Claire bit out.
"What are you doing here?" he asked Joan.
"I wanted to talk to you...to talk about you having one last chance." she said and took a deep breath. Brian crossed his arms.
"One last chance? For what?" he asked.
"To save your soul." she told him. He rolled his eyes and chuckled.
"You gotta be fucking kidding me." he laughed. Claire turned back to her mother.
"Mom I told you he wouldn't want you here. He's gay. Let him go already." Claire complained.
"For once I agree with her. Get her the fuck out of here." Brian told Claire.
"You're my son. I'm trying to save your soul from eternal damnation. Don't marry that man." Joan said. He moved his shoulders and smiled.
"To late. I already married him." he said and held up his left hand. "And just so you know, tonight when I can finally pry him out of that party, I'm gonna stick my dick up his ass and cum inside it, and enjoy every second of it." Brian told her, making her gasp.
"You're going to burn in hell." Joan cried. He scoffed.
"Why the hell are you even here? You've never once cared about me. You've hated me my whole life. And now you're pretending to be a loving mother? I never want to see you again. Get the fuck out of here, and never come back." Brian said, but then turned around. "By the way your priest? That one you love so much. The one who's like a son. He's gay. I fucked him." he said and turned and started walking up to the front desk and asking someone to tell him where the office was. They escorted him back into a room, where two police officers were sitting outside. He went in and saw Craig sitting here, holding a towel to his bleeding head, and he snorted. "God could this day get any worse. Now what the fuck are you doing here?" Brian demanded.
"I came to save my son...from you." Craig said. Brian rubbed his face and chuckled into his hand.
"There's a lot of trying to save us from each other going around toady. You know. I'm not even giving you a chance to talk. I don't have time for this bull shit today. I cut it short and sweet with that bitch you raised me, and now I'm going to do the same with you. So I don't care about all your drunken reasons about why you came here. Justin will never know that your here. He's never going to find out. And you're to fucking late." Brian said has he held up his left hand to show his ring. "Your son married to me. We signed the papers and it's all legal." Brian said. Craig groaned.
"You both are an abomination-" he tried to say but Brian slammed his hands on the table and got right into Craig's face.
"It doesn't matter what you fucking think of us. Justin doesn't give a damn. He doesn't even think of you as a father. You've already been replaced for him. So there's no need to try and come in and save the day. Justin's gay. He's a fucking homosexual. And there's nothing you can do to change it. He's married to a man. Now this is the last time I'm gonna see you. You're to never come near me or Justin again or so help me I will murder you. Very slowly so you feel every second of it." Brian growled in his face and then stood up. "You stay away from Justin. He has nothing from you anymore. He got rid of his name because he wanted no link to you." Brian smiled. "He's a Kinney now. And while you're laying in your jail cell, waiting for the spinning to end tonight, just know that Mr. Kinney will be getting fucked in our hotel bed. He'll have my dick inside his ass all night long, and begging me to keep it there. You think on that." Brian said and left the room. He looked over at Carl. "Take the fucking creep. And make sure those two bitches are gone." Brian said. A man in a suit cleared his throat.
"I'm the hotel day manager. And I assure you Mr. Kinney that Mrs. Kinney and her daughter are not on the premises anymore. And we will be escorting Mr. Taylor through the back door." he said. Brian nodded and left. When he got to the lobby though, he didn't go back inside. He went over to the hotel desk.
"Does anyone have a cigarette?" he asked. One of the front desk clerks nodded and jumped and went inside her purse and came over with one, and a lighter. He went outside and sat down on a bench and started smoking. Letting out a deep breath.
"Are you ok?" Sawyer asked, startling Brian. He nodded his head.
"Fucking peachy." he said, taking another drag.
"You gonna tell Justin that they showed up?" Sawyer asked. Brian shrugged his shoulders.
"Eventually. It'll just ruin his perfect day." Brian said. Sawyer nodded his head.
"I'm sorry they showed up." Sawyer said, making Brian look at him.
"Why are you sorry? It's not like you invited them." Brian said. Sawyer sat down.
"No I didn't. But like how you wanted this day to go perfect for Justin, I wanted this day to go perfect for you...and I think they kinda ruined a chance of that happening." Sawyer said. Brian snorted.
"They weren't the ones to ruin that. Michael took care of that one." Brian chuckled, surprised at himself for saying that.
"I was wondering if you were going to say anything...Sam told me last night you asked her to help write Michael's speech." Sawyer said. Brian nodded.
"I've heard bits and pieces of what he's been doing. Yelling at Sam...yelling at Daphne. I overheard you all talking about it on my back porch." Brian admitted, making Sawyer's eyes widen.
"Brian...I'm sorry. We didn't know you were there. We shouldn't have been talking about it." Sawyer said. He took another drag.
"I don't know why you keep apologizing for things you have no control over. It's not like you told my supposed best friend to tell you guys you really aren't apart of my life, and then yell at Daphne that she doesn't truly understand Justin and that they're not really best friends. Just like you have no control over those assholes coming here today." Brian said tossing the butt of his cigarette and then standing up.
"You can pretend nothing bothers you. That everything Michael's been saying and doing hasn't bothered you...but I know it has. It hurts way more deeply then you want to admit. But just so you know...if you ever want to talk. I'm here." Sawyer said. Brian nodded.
"I'll be just fine. Just need some alcohol." Brian grumbled. They walked back upstairs and into the Reception Hall. He went over to the bar and ordered himself a drink. "Did he buy an open bar?" Brian asked Sawyer, who smiled.
"You think Justin is gonna make people pay for alcohol, when you can so easily supply it?" Sawyer joked. Brian rolled his eyes. Justin had already had a few drinks, and was feeling good. He was in the middle of the dance floor, and the Daphne had stolen the microphone and given it to him, and Justin was now singing 'Moves Like Jagger', while he danced in the middle of everyone as they cheered and screamed for him. Brian laughed as he watched him. Justin was having the time of his life. He looked insanely happy. Over the moon happy. And he didn't want anything to ruin that. After the song was over, Sam grabbed the mic from Justin.
"Alright you people. Get off the dance floor. And I want to see my family out here. We have a tradition to uphold." Sam said, causing something people to laugh and groan at the same time.
"What's she babbling about?" Brian asked Sawyer who chuckled and rolled his eyes.
"Remember the story she told you about us dancing to that Michael Jackson song? 'Rock With You'?" Sawyer asked him.
"She talks a lot and I tune her out." Brian said.
"Well that was the song that we always used to play for her when she was little. So she played it at Meredith and Carver's wedding and just the family danced to it. And it became a tradition. So you're going to have to go out there and dance to it with us. My parents just watch, it was a kid thing to them that they like to just smile and watch." Sawyer chuckled.
"Where is my little nephew Gus? You get out here to little man." Sam said into the microphone.
"Someone take that away from her." Brian ordered as everyone started leaving the dance floor. Only Sawyer's brothers and sisters, and nieces and nephews were walking onto the dance floor.
"It is a wedding tradition. It started with Meredith and Carver's wedding." Sam said into the mic. "Back then it was only me, Sawyer, Derek, Meredith and Carver...but then Derek and Julianna got married, and we all danced to it then. And by the time that me and Josh got married, we all hopped back onto the dance floor, but then we had Ali, Spence, Mackenzie, Zoey..." Sam drifted off, trying to remember. "Oh and Parker and Alexis. Chloe was born a few days later. Where me and Josh had to leave our honeymoon just to come back to see the birth of our niece-" Sam said as Sawyer grabbed the microphone away from her, causing applause.
"Alright. So this is the first time that Chloe and Caleb will join us. But now I get the honors, and the my sincere apologies for this embarrassing tradition." Sawyer said, making Sam hit his shoulder. "To have Brian, Justin and Gus, get to dance with us." he said as the music started.
Girl, Close Your Eyes.

Don't Try To Fight It.
There Ain't Nothin' That You Can Do.
Relax Your Mind.
Lay Back And Groove With Mine.
You Got To Feel That Heat.
And We Can Ride The Boogie.
Share That Beat Of Love.
"This is embarrassing." Brian said as he stood in the middle of everyone. Everyone was laughing and dancing. Brian just crossed his arms.
"Oh come on and dance you old ass." Sam said as she went over and smacked Brian's butt, making everyone laugh.
I Wanna Rock With You, All Night.
Dance You Into Day, Sunlight.
I Wanna Rock With You, All Night.
We're Gonna Rock The Night Away.

Just Take It Slow.
'Cause We Got So Far To Go.
When You Feel That Heat.
And We're Gonna Ride The Boogie.
Share That Beat Of Love.
"Dance with me daddy." Gus said, grabbing his hands. Brian couldn't say no to his son, and danced with him. He suddenly realized that this was the first time that he had ever done this with Gus. He spun Gus around, and was off in Gus' world again. No one could enter this world but him and his son.
I Wanna Rock With You, All Night.
Dance You Into Day, Sunlight.
I Wanna Rock With You, All Night.
We're Gonna Rock The Night Away.
And When The Groove Is Dead And Gone.
You Know That Love Survives.
So We Can Rock Forever, On.
I Wanna Rock With You.
I Wanna Groove With You.
I Wanna Rock With You.
I Wanna Groove With You.
I Wanna Rock, All Night, With You Girl, Sunlight.

Feel The Heat Feel The Beat Rock You Into Day.
I Wanna Rock - Rock The Night Away.
Sam patted Brian on the shoulder when the song ended. "Welcome to one of our family traditions. You may think it's silly, but you're stuck with them." Sam said.
"Yeah I'm tired of this for shit music. Put on something I can dance to." Brian told the D.J. He grabbed Justin and pulled him closer to him, making him laugh.
"Do you remember the first time we danced to this song?" Justin asked. Brian shook his head. "You told me go where I wanted to for school. Not go somewhere my parents wanted me to." Justin said. Brian smiled.
"Yes. And you turned out to be a big queer." Brian laughed.
"Lucky for you, or I wouldn't be wasting my time." Justin said and kissed him. "Did you smell the Golden Gardenia's?" Justin asked, making Brian snort.
"Yes dear just like you asked. How could I not? All the girls were holding them. And Jenny Rebecca was throwing them on the ground. And they're on every table as a fucking centerpiece." Brian grumbled. But Justin just smiled.
"This whole day has been so perfect. Nothing's going wrong. Thank you for making this all happen. And thank you for marrying me." Justin said and kissed him.
"You remember that in bed tonight." Brian said.
"Oh trust me I will." Justin said.
Eternal dance. Carry us away.
To a bright tomorrow. A brighter day.
Eternal dance, of love's display.
No space in time, tearing us away.
Justin wanted lots and lots of dancing at the Reception. The music was loud enough that it filled the room, but it didn't make everyone have to shout to be heard. He liked that about Babylon, but this was different. This was his wedding. He still couldn't get over that. The D.J. let the last song die and came out into the middle of the dance floor. "Alright everyone gather around. Now, I want all the married couples to come out here. Come on everyone." he announced.
"Hey that's us." Justin said and yanked Brian out. The D.J. started calling for certain couples who were not on the dance floor, with Emmett telling him.
"What the fuck are we doing?" Brian complained.
"It's a married couples dance." Justin said excitedly, jumping up and down.
"Oh Jesus." Brian grumbled.
"Alright. What Justin and Brian would like to do-"
"Just Justin. Not Justin and Brian. Justin." Brian corrected, making Justin smack.
"Well no matter who wants to. All the married couples are gonna do their dance with the newly happily married couple." the D.J. said, and started playing a Celine Dion son. 'Because You Loved Me'. Brian groaned while Justin just laughed.
"Are you fucking kidding me?" Brian demanded. After about 30 seconds, the D.J. grabbed the mic again.
"Alright guys. If you have been married for less then five hours, I want you step off the dance floor and come around here and stand next to me." the D.J. said.
"Oh I like this." Brian all but ran off the dance floor, with Justin laughing. "Fucking hetero love songs." Brian shivered.
"Alright anyone married less then a year." he said. No one moved. "Alright two years." he said. Justin's cousin Brandon, and his wife Melissa walked away. "Alright you come over and stand next to the happy couple." the D.J. said. Michael and Ben appeared next to them. "Alright now three years or less, come over here." he said. Brian's cousin Cassie and her husband Chandler, and then his cousin Isabella and her husband Landon joined the line. "Four years." Savannah and Colby joined them. "Five years. Luca and Charlene. "Six years." Lindsay and Melanie, and then Annabella and Landon. "Seven years." he said. No one moved.
"GET OFF THE FLOOR CHEATER!" they heard Derek yell, as Sam and Josh sulked off the floor.
"Eight years." the D.J. said. Nico and Cecilia. "Nine years." Vance and Cheyenne. "TEN YEARS!" he yelled. Robert and Ava walked off.
"Alright were gonna jump to fiftieth" he said. But no one moved. "Ooohhh. How about sixteen?" he asked. Still no one moved. "Seventeen?...Eighteen?" he asked as Derek and Julianna walked off.
"Alright we got them. Now how about Twenty?" he asked. Angela and Brody walked off.
"That fucking thing is rigged." Angela complained.
"How about a little jump. Twenty three?" he asked. Meredith and Carver walked off. "Alright we're getting smaller. Twenty four?" he asked. Robert and Elizabeth. "Twenty five." he said. No one moved. "Ok twenty six?" both Justin's aunt Lynda and her husband Dennis walked off, and then Maria and Trevor.
"Oh we got two. Not to many couples left. Can I see twenty seven?" he asked. Justin's uncle adam and his wife sheila walked away. "Alright twenty eight?" no one. "Twenty nine?" he asked. Ricky and Melinda. "Alright thirty years of marriage?" he asked. "How about thirty one?" Genevieve and Regan.
"Thirty three?" he asked. No one. "Thirty four?" Anthony and Rebecca. "Thirty five?" Vance and Martha. "Ok FORTY!" He yelled. The last three couples, which were their grandparents, were all still dancing. "Forty five?" nothing. "Forty six...forty seven...forty eight...forty nine...FIFTY!" Still no one moved. "Ladies and gentlemen give these folks a round of applause. All making it to over fifty years of marriage." he said as everyone clapped. "Alright fifty one...fifty two...fifty three...fifty four." he said, and Justin's grandparents walked off.
"You both stand right here. Fifty four years of marriage!" he yelled, making everyone clap. "Alright fifty five." he said, and Teresa's parents, Genevieve and Robert walked off. "You come stand right here. FIFTY FIVE YEARS!" He yelled, making everyone clap again. "Alright you two. Fifty six years of marriage." he said to Sawyer's parents. "Fifty seven...fifty eight." he said, and Cynthia nodded her head. "FIFTY EIGHT YEARS OF MARRIAGE!" He screamed while everyone clapped.
"Oh God." Brian groaned, covering his face. Justin laughed and slapped his arm. "You know that's not happening right?" Brian asked Justin.
"I know, because you'd have to live to be 93 years old. I don't think you'll last long once your dick gives out." Justin joked. Brian whipped his head around to look at him, glaring at him.
"Don't ever! Talk about my dick giving out." Brian warned him, holding his crotch protectively. Luckily no one was paying attention to there conversation. "That's just mean." he told him, making Justin laugh.
"Alright. Fifty eight years. Now I'd like the two of you to give our newlyweds any advise to keep their marriage as strong as yours." the D.J. said. Cynthia took the mic.
"Never go to bed angry. You'll get wrinkles." Cynthia said, making them laugh. Mark took the mic next.
"Never tell Justin that you add up the bills and tell him how much money he actually spends." he said.
OK! So thank you so much for all the reviews and kind words about the promtion at work. Unfortunately our store manager isn't the best, and she cut me off before I ever had an interview! it's extreamly sad, and the job went to this younger guy (who is gay and nothing like Brian or Justin) that is mean and just nasty. So I'm currently looking for a new job. But it has gotten me to write more, because when I've come home from work all I want to do is write to drown out the drama...I'm moving into my own apartment tomorrow for the first time. It will just be me and George (my dog)
So anyways, I hope everyone loved the wedding. As I've said in the past, I've only watched QAF on Netflix, so I know the songs I used weren't on the live version of the shows. So I'm sorry if that ruined it for anyone.

Just you wait and see!

Yes you are right, and I'm impressed you remembered that. You answered it pretty quick so I believe you...if you had looked it would have taken you awhile to find it.
VDAYBEAR
I'm glad I keep you smiling crying and laughing.
MARMELIN
I go back and forth with adding Sam, Sawyer and Teresa. So keep reading.
PABOI
I'm glad it was worth the wait
CODY101
Not sure how many chapters are left. The end is coming, but don't be afraid of that!

I'm glad you got teary eyed. I love when people get emotional with my writing! and I love when they laugh. And I agree with you about Michael. When he realized he would lose his comic book store. And thank you for keeping your fingers crossed for me.
RJONES308
Brian's always supporting Michael, what else is new. I love how you caught the hypocricy. I'm also glad you noticed that I didn't make it to romantic. It is true, I love reading fanfiction, but when they write the weddings to romantic, I always think geez this would never happen. Maybe on your 20th wedding anniversary, you should have a do over wedding! and thanks for the positve thoughts for my promotion...hopefully next time.
DARKANDLOVELY
I burst out laughing when I read the line about getting a foot shoved up michaels ass lol I agree
