Pikatwig: So, this chapter will be Roll focused.

KKD: It should be obvious with the title.

Pikatwig: And who knows what else we might find out about Roll.

KKD: Well with a title involving a "secret life," it's only natural something new will be discovered

Pikatwig: Well, roll some disclaimers aibou!

KKD: As usual, Pika owns Tune, Strumm, Ian, Star, and Tux, I own Alpha & Akiza, and the rest belong to SEGA, Archie, Capcom, and their respective owners.

Pikatwig: Cue Simple & Clean.

Sonic & Megaman: Adventures!

One day, Akiza was busy dusting and cleaning the house while most everyone was out, a chore she normally would hate, but for the moment doesn't care. When she entered Roll's room, the cleaning for her was great, but then, she discovers a new book.

"Eh? What's this?" she wondered, picking it up to see it was titled "Roll's Diary." "Mou… I shouldn't read it…" she groaned, putting the book down where she found it, but then she figured… "Well, I suppose one entry wouldn't hurt."

And so, she opened the book, instantly seeing something about Roll's love of being barefoot.

"Huh… this sounds like something I'd say to my boyfriend, Starry," Akiza sighed.

"Alright, let's see, 'Akiza's love of going barefoot is interesting, and she sure is lucky she can go barefoot all the time, and twice as lucky to have a boyfriend with a foot fetish'. Yea, sounds true," Akiza said. "Really? This is interesting."

Suddenly, Akiza heard a voice through the door.

"Uh oh. It's Roll," Akiza panicked, quickly, shoving the diary back where she found it before Roll could find out.

"Hi Aki-chan, whatcha up to?" Roll asked.

"Oh, just cleaning up the house, that's all," Akiza answered.

"Thanks Aki-chan," Roll said as she took out her diary and began to write in it.

Akiza couldn't help but making a tiny peek, but before Roll looked back, Akiza turned away quickly. Roll then smiled and put the book down.

"I'm gonna use the bathroom real quick, if you keep cleaning, don't touch my diary," Roll said.

"Of course, Roll-chan," Akiza nodded, but when Roll left, Akiza couldn't help before looking back at it. She picked the book up and began to read the next entry.

"'Dear Mai- Today I began to play my copy of Animal Crossing New Leaf, and I'm having fun,' Okay… 'Sonic then told me that I was a cute person, and I blushed like crazy, he's so sweet', well no surprise." Akiza said and then she put the book back. "...She sure seems to have a lot of fun when writing this."

Later that night, Roll was fast asleep when Akiza decided to sneak into the room. She then plucked the diary from where it was, and then left for her room to read a bit more.

"Alrighty, let's see… 'Dear Mai- When I had a small nap, I had the most amazing dream, where Sonic offered to massage my feet, and I loved the dream so much! I only wish I could get Sonic to do that in real life.'" Akiza began to read. "...Never thought I'd see something like that. What else is in this book?"

She flipped to the next page, and saw a small drawing of Roll and Sonic on it. "Okay, let's see… 'Dear Mai, I really wish that Sonic would massage my feet, I would like to see how he would do, and I'll ever be able to go barefoot like how Akiza does,' Aw, cute."

Next day, Roll and Akiza smiled as they were just sitting on the couch.

"Aww… I would love to have Sonic massage my feet," Roll smiled.

"...Why don't you hypnotize him to do it?" Akiza asked.

"I don't want him to do it like that; I want him to do it on his own will," Roll answered.

Akiza simply giggled at this, as there was a knock at the door, Akiza went over and opened it. "Hi Starry-kun."

"Hi Aki-chan. How's your day going?" Star asked.

"Just fine, so let's head into my room and have some fun," Akiza said.

"Okay then," Star nodded, making Akiza to giggle before they left upstairs.

Roll gave a small smile at them, and then began to let her mind wander for a bit.

-In Roll's Imagination-

Sonic and Roll were at the beach, relaxing in the sand.

"...I've really enjoyed this time with you, Roll-chan," Sonic smiled.

"Thanks Sonic," Roll replied, as she glanced down to her feet, in a pair of sandals.

"Here, let me take care of those for you," Sonic smiled as he tossed Roll's sandals aside, and with that, Roll placed her barefeet on Sonic's lap.

"You like what you see?" Roll asked, as she wiggled her toes a bit.

"I don't like it, I love it!" Sonic replied, making Roll giggle."...Mind if I… massage them?"

"Sure thing Sonic," Roll replied.

With that, Sonic was about to start, but then, he decided to remove his gloves first. Then, the hedgehog began to massage Roll's feet with his bare hands.

"Thanks Sonic…" Roll said.

-Reality-

Roll then woke up and then began to walk upstairs.

"This'll be great for my diary," she figured as she arrived to write in it. "'Dear Mai, I had a wonderful daydream just now. Sonic and I were on a beach, and he willingly offered to remove my sandals and massage my feet. Before he did, though, he actually removed his gloves so that I could feel his bare hands on my barefeet, something rare when it comes to the Mobians.'"

Akiza began to giggle, but then Roll saw her standing in her doorway. "Akiza, what are you doing?!"

"Oh nothing," Akiza smiled.

"Did you hear anything I just said?" Roll asked.

"...Maybe…"

"Don't make me hypnotize you!" Roll snapped.

"...Okay, I heard you say everything you wrote in there," Akiza answered.

"Okay, and… wait, have you read my diary at all?!"

She sighed and then said, "... Fine. I did… just a little."

"Akiza!" Roll snapped when Star grabbed Akiza.

"...I think we gotta go now," Star told her before he took his girlfriend out of the house; Roll dropped her diary in frustration and Akiza accidentally kicked it right to where Alpha and Manic were eating lunch.

"Hey? What's this?" Alpha asked, picking up the diary. "It's a diary you bonehead!" Manic replied, as he flipped it open and showed him an entry. "Wait… this is Roll's…" Alpha began.

"So there should be some really juicy stuff in there!"

"I don't think we should read it," Alpha stuttered nervously. "Oh hey lookie here, 'Dear Mai, me and Alpha played a video game today, and he was a dirty rotten stinky cheater!'" Manic read aloud, Alpha then looked and saw that was indeed written in it!

"WHAT?! Why would she write that?! I'm no cheater! I'm just skilled at the game!" Alpha snapped.

"I dunno," Manic replied.

"Grrrrr I'm gonna get her for this!" Alpha growled.

Manic then stood in his way.

"Take it easy there, bro. That's a bad idea to go and talk to her about it… even if you did, you'd blow the fact that we have the diary," Manic told him.

"Point…" Alpha replied as they saw Roll walk down, Alpha quickly hid the book under some newspapers.

"Guys, have you seen my diary?" Roll asked.

"Nope," they answered.

Roll then sighed and walked away, Manic and Alpha then took the diary and read another page of it. "'Dear Mai- I think I should tell you about The Originals, who are the first eight Robot Masters ever built. DLN. 003 Cut Man, DLN. 004 Guts Man, DLN. 005 Ice Man, DLN. 006 Bomb Man, DLN. 007 Fire Man, DLN. 008, Elec Man, DLN. 00A Time Man and DLN. 00B Oil Man. Let's see, I'll start with Oil Man, he's so rude! He spills oil all over the house, always calls me Roll-baby, instead of Roll-chan, and it irritates the heck out me!' Wow… harsh," Manic said.

"Wonder what she says about the next guy," Alpha muttered next. "'Next comes Fire Man. He was bad enough before the doctor made Oil Man as he used his flames as an excuse for his early smoking habit, and he also has me clean up the ashes and air around him. It also didn't help that he's always asking folks to pick stuff up for him due to his lack of hands. Then AFTER Oil Man was made, the nut continued to smoke, but he burned more stuff due to the oil left in the rooms; it. Was. RIDICULOUS how much we paid for repairs until he finally quit smoking!'"

Manic then looked at the book and began to read the next page. "'Next is Cut Man, oh boy. He can be so annoying! If it was his cutting puns, it had to be those big clippers on his head cutting a lot of stuff above that I needed; it was a pain having garlands and wreaths above him around Christmas. He just need to act a little less… annoying!' Ouch."

"Hey, check this out," Alpha replied, pointing to something about Guts Man. "'The fourth one is Guts Man. Oh boy, he can be such a clumsy oaf most of the time. For someone his size it's a wonder he can get around most places, seeing he can trip over the smallest thing with those feet, and when he does, he causes a mini-earthquake that knocks everything one the top shelves down, causing them to shatter. Also, he really is all brawn and no brain… I mean, he thinks 1 + 1 is 4 for crying out loud!' That's kinda funny."

"'Bomb Man is the… oddest in design among The Originals… I mean, what is he supposed to be? Ah well, he has a love of bombs, and it gets annoying, one time, I spent a month replating grass in the backyard after Bomb man was goofing around! Sheesh, and if someone thinks a person is trigger happy, Bomb Man is ready to drop a bomb before someone could even think about grabbing a weapon to stop him! And aside from that, and going back to his design, he's just FAT! I don't know if he's supposed to be shaped like a bomb, but that doesn't help his image, neither does it help when he decides to stuff his face!'" Manic read.

"Hey, I just noticed the last three are the ones who are here with us," Alpha stated.

"Really? Let's see what she says about each of them. You read the first of those," Manic replied.

"Uh… okay," Alpha muttered before clearing his throat and reading. "'Elec Man tended to cause the most problems in the early days. He had almost no control over his powers at that time. You touch him, you get zapped; you accidentally walk within 3 feet of him, you get zapped; if you accidentally LOOKED at him wrong, you get zapped. And it took him FOREVER just to get his powers in check, and even then he STILL causes some power outages that just ruin people's day! And no better by the fact that he's ruined my hair, several times!' Okay… girl problem, moving on," Alpha said.

"Okay, let's see… 'Then there's Time Man, oh boy, now we're really going nutso with this stuff. He always manages to cheat in one way or another, when we're playing cards he looks like he's stumped, but then he uses his powers without me knowing it, and manages to pull off a win, just. As I. Was going. To win. Dirty cheater. And it doesn't help with video games or board games either. Plus he sometimes wakes up so early, he wakes me up and I can't fall back asleep!' Yow," Manic read.

"'Finally, there's Ice Man, and he nearly complains about the heat all the time. I know he's supposed to look like an eskimo and has ice powers, but there's no need to program him to be so whiny about the heat! It makes matters worse with Fire Man, the moment Ice Man walks into a room with him, the two get into a huge argument, and their bickering causing their powers to react in a way that causes stuff to get soaking wet! Heck, the guys accidentally gave Dr. Light a cold just from their argument of whether to crank up the AC or turn up the heat; MAKE UP YOUR MINDS YOU DOPES! Oh and Mai, get this, Ice Man has a crush on me. Well, I'd never say this to his face, but he's… not my type.' Ouch," Alpha noted.

It was then they heard someone walk over, and saw it was only Ice Man, and then the half-brothers dropped the diary and left to play a game. Then, Ice Man saw Roll's diary on the table.

"Wow! Roll-chan's diary! I bet I'm on every single page… until she met Sonic," Ice Man replied, before opening the book, somehow stumbling across the page that Alpha and Manic just finished reading and saw what she thought about him; it stunned him to know the truth of what she thought of him.

He let the book drop to the ground and then he walked off.

"Huh?" a voice gawked as a familiar sneaker tapped the book, and then a gloved hand picked it up, revealing it to be Sonic. "Roll's Diary? Wow, I'd better return this to her fast."

With that, unlike the others who picked it up, Sonic rushed off to find Roll, who was back in her room cleaning up a bit.

"Hey Roll," Sonic said.

"Oh… hello Sonic," Roll sighed.

"I found something of yours," Sonic told her, handing her her diary.

"OH! Thanks and wait… you didn't read this did you?!" Roll checked.

"Of course not!" Sonic answered honestly.

"Thank you," Roll said and then she looked at the cover and then hid the book. "Hey Sonic, thanks for finding it for me."

"No problem," Sonic smiled.

Roll smiled and gave him a small kiss, and then she saw Ice Man walk in. "Oh hey Ice Man," Roll waved.

However, she noticed that Ice Man… wasn't looking too happy.

"What?" she asked.

"...You hurt my feelings," Ice Man muttered.

"You read my diary didn't you?!" Roll asked.

"I did… and you said that I wasn't your type," Ice Man answered.

"... okay, and did you read the positive things I said about you?" Roll asked.

"...No?" Ice Man replied, a bit confused.

Roll groaned as she flipped to the page, and then saw Alpha and Manic walk in.

"What's going on?" Alpha asked.

"Oh hey," Roll said.

"What're you doing?" Manic asked.

"Let me guess, you two read my diary too?"

"...Yea/Maybe," they answered.

Roll sighed and then flipped to the entry of her feelings about the Originals, but this time they're more positive.

"Let me read what you bozos apparently skimmed over," Roll sighed. "'While Oil Man may get on my nerves, he's a nice guy at heart, and I know he's trying to be funny when he acts the way he does, and he never intends to drip oil on the ground; I guess it was just a minor bug in his system.' Then there's Fire Man. 'While he may be annoying at times, he has a great sense of justice, is kind, a great barbecuer; he made some of the best burgers, hot dogs, and steaks in all Megaville. Mmm… makes my mouth water just thinking about it. Also, he makes very good points when he wants to keep the house warm in the winter." Now for Cut Man. 'His puns may be corny, but like Oil Man, he wants to lighten the mood. Also, while those clippers are a pain on his head, he's also very helpful when it comes to jobs that require me to cut something specific; he's always helpful with those. He's like a cool little brother, but I do have to give him some combat credit, according to Rock, Cutty actually saved him from falling into some sort of acid while an EMP field hit Earth.'"

"Wow, that's pretty cool," Sonic admitted.

"But that's not all. Here's what I said about Guts Man. 'I have managed to teach him some skills, but not all that much, so, he's improving, and he's nice at heart, just needs to cool down a little bit, kinda like Fire Man. Plus, he's also good with some tasks that require me to lift stuff beyond what I can lift.' Now, here's what I said about Bomb Man, it's not much, but it is something. 'He may be a little trigger happy and look… odd, but he's kind and knows how to put on a great fireworks spectacular!' And now for the three Robot Masters here, starting with Elec Man. 'He was able to get his powers under control, and then, Elec Man proved to help a lot around the house, restoring power in case of a blackout he did not cause. Plus, his French accents is rather fun to listen to,'"

"Hah… funny," Alpha chuckled.

"Then… there's Time Man," Roll continued. "'Sure, sometimes I think he's a cheater, but he's nice and I really want to help him get the ability to travel through time, and who knows, maybe we might get to see how Rock was able to bring a great peaceful future, but beyond my point, Time Man's pretty cool, and'" Roll paused and took out a pencil to re-write something "'I used to have a crush on him, until I met the blue hero of my dreams.'"

"Making sure your diary's up to date?" Sonic asked.

"Yep, and now for you Ice Man. 'He may be freezing at time, but it actually helps in the heat of summer when we want to be cool indoors. Plus, he makes the best frozen drinks and smoothies I've ever tasted. Needless to say Ice Man is one cool dude,'" Roll concluded.

This seemed to cheer Ice Man enough to get him out of his saddened mood.

Sonic then sat down next to Roll and they hugged, soon the other cleared out, and the two were left alone. "Hey Sonic… can I read to you, what I first wrote about you, from a while after you arrived in my world?"

"Sure," Sonic answered.

"Okay, now let me find the page," she replied, flipping through her diary. "AH! 'He looks so nice, that blue fur neat, being a hero, and so cute, he's got my attention, and… I'm crushing on him, Sonic the Hedgehog.' Well?"

"...Sounds nice… except this isn't fur; they're quills," Sonic replied, correcting one minor fact.

"Never got around to fixing that, sorry," Roll apologized.

"It's cool, but hey. I still love you."

They then hugged, and Sonic waved to Roll as he left. Roll then turned to write in her diary again. "'Dear Mai- Sonic was great. He did end up finding you and returning you to me without reading you like the others; this is one reason I'm glad to have him as a boyfriend. Oh, and no offense, but I really need to add a lock and key onto you Mai.'"

Pikatwig: This was a neat chapter huh?

KKD: Yep. Never knew Roll thought like that about the original Robot Masters.

Pikatwig: It's interesting, and I gotta say, I really liked this chapter. Oh and for those curious, Mai is what Roll calls her diary.

KKD: I kinda figured that myself, but like I was saying about it, I think I like the part where she lists what she hates and likes about the other Robot Masters the most.

Pikatwig: I like that part to, but my favorite part was how it all ended, anything else you wanna say aibou?

KKD: Nope. Catchphrase time. Jaa ne!

Pikatwig: Just Live More.
