While we were waiting for Dino to get changed, Fon brought around the person he said he wanted to introduce to me, "Meet Xiulan."

The first thing I noticed about this Xiulan woman was the aura about her. It was peaceful yet there was a hidden strength about her. I smirked. Perhaps, she wasn't such a bad person. Maybe I can spar with her after breakfast. That would be the best way to get to know this woman.

In broken Italian she spoke, stretching her hand out to me, "Hello. I have heard a-about you."

I replied in Japanese, taking her hand to test the strength of her grip, "Fon talks about me?"

I noticed three things about her in just that one moment. She was an elegant woman. Every movement of her body was carried out with the utmost grace and precision. It was suitable for a martial artist to have that kind of movement pattern and I made a mental note to ask if she was Fon's disciple later on in the day. The second thing I noticed was that she was tall. Not taller than Dino or Fon or even Kyoya but she was taller than me and I hated it. The third thing was the fact that she was very kind. She must have heard that I had lived most of my life in Italy so she tried to greet me in a language that would be familiar for me.

In Chinese, she responded, "All the time."

And again I responded in Japanese, pleased by the firm handshake, "And Kyoya?"

"Your precious brother." She replied solemnly in Japanese, "I met him just a minute ago."

My eyes settled on her face for a brief moment, deeming her face ordinary yet pretty in it's own way, and then it was attracted to her massive chest. I practically glared at her boobs.

"What did you think of him?" I asked, my gaze demanding and testing.

"He seemed to be incredibly intelligent and strong but he was very reserved. Or perhaps he was irritated." She mused, "The two of you have similar looks in your eyes, as if you're assessing my very core. You, Fon, and Hibari Kyoya are very similar."

Her description of Kyoya and her statements afterwards told me plenty of things about her character. She had not used the word 'frightening' or 'scary' or 'terrifying' to describe my brother, who was - even by his allies like Sawada - referred to as frightening. She was one hell of a fighter. And she had called him intelligent, meaning he had held a conversation with her at one point so she was not completely hated by Kyoya. And then she noticed that he was irritated at some point, meaning she was not a dense or stupid person herself. She even knew that Kyoya and I were assessing her thoroughly. She's a sharp woman. Perhaps she has keen instincts like us or maybe she's just good at assessing people at a glance. One thing's for certain, she was taught by Fon at one point or another because she had compared all three of us together and Fon only rudely assesses people like me and Kyoya when he's about to fight.

I didn't have much more time to think about her. Dino came running back in a full blown mafia style suit and Yamamoto just laughed and laughed. Suzuki Hina, no relation to Adelheid apparently, was very envious and she certainly didn't hold back when she told me so. It was kind of embarrassing. He's always exaggerating these things. He looks good no matter what he wears.

He caught a glimpse of Xiulan and smiled, putting his hand out, "So you must be the one. You're very beautiful."

Well… That's not cool. I fixed a glare on Fon as if he had ruined my entire life and he only smiled back at me cluelessly. Bastard.

Xiulan accepted the offered handshake and returned a compliment back to him, "You're very good looking yourself, Don Cavallone."

As modest as ever, he only smiled sheepishly and shook his head but he looked pretty damn happy there, "You can just call me Dino."

I snorted at the two of them, displeased by the rather nice picture they created standing across from each other. I shifted my eyes to Fon, who was still clueless, but who cares about him.

"Kira-senpai!" Yamamoto's girlfriend called out, "Let's invite them too!"

"Huh?!" Now why the hell would I have to do that? And who the hell gave her the right to call me 'Kira-senpai'? That's weird to hear from a non-mafia person.

Yamamoto threw his arm around my shoulders, "It's more fun with more people!"

That's crowding not fun.

"Of course they're invited!" Dino answered for me and I noticed for the very first time that he was just the slightest bit tense, "I would invite Kyoya too but he's probably going to just hit me for it…"

"Go! Go!" Yamamoto cheered, rounding up his girlfriend and me for some reason or another, "Senpai, do you like roller coasters?"

"They're okay." I grumbled.

"It's fun!" He corrected me, "If you're not scared, you can be my partner for today! Hina's scared of everything except the flying swings."

"Hey! That was a secret!" She whined and for a split second I thought she reminded me of Dino, "I can ride the little ones!"

"What about Dino-san?" Yamamoto grinned back at Dino, completely ignoring the fact that his girlfriend was whining at his offensive comment, "Do you like roller coasters?"

"Uhh… I can ride them." Don Cavallone answered cautiously, "More importantly, what about Fon and Xiulan?"

"I rather enjoy those kinds of things." Fon said, not taking his eyes off me, "I remember a time that Kira was too short to ride them."

"I rode it anyways!" I snapped, "Fuck you! You didn't get to ride them either, you baby!"

Life lesson time, guys. If you ever ride a roller coaster with Fon and Kyoya or even me for that matter, you'll only look like an herbivore. Kyoya, as you can imagine, scowls the whole way through and never even blinks. In fact, he might yawn. I enjoy the height and the speed. It's a thrill so if I ever make a noise, it's because I'm laughing or admiring the view as the roller coaster climbs up right before it falls. Truthfully, the best parts of roller coasters, in my opinion, is going up slowly and then coming down at a breakneck pace. Going up, I can actually see all the tiny little people (ahem, that I'm usually shorter than, ahem) from up high and coming down, the thrill of falling is the best. Anyways, aside from psychotic people like me and Kyoya. There's people like Fon. He simply sits there with a small smile as the thing goes up and down and all around. He looks so damn peaceful. Or so I heard. I've never actually been to a place like this with Fon since he was kind of a baby for as long as I can remember and we all know that they don't let babies ride those kinds of things but my mother used to tell me about her annoyingly blank faced older brother. That was Fon.

"Shall we?" Fon offered me a hand and gestured his free hand to the one ride that stood out right from the entrance.

"Uwaaa!" Yamamoto gasped in awe, "Fon-san is so intense! The dead drop right from the start?"

"It's a tradition." I grumbled, grasping the hand that was offered to me, "My father always rode that one first. So I won't ever start with a different ride."

"Kira-senpai's old man?" The Rain Guardian grinned, "Okay! Let's get on that one! While we wait, tell me about your old man!"

"He's dead." I said bluntly and without warning, "There's nothing to know."

Dino is being awfully quiet. I glanced back at him to find him just tensely trailing behind us as if he was feeling awkward or maybe he was nervous. Maybe he doesn't want to ride.

"I'll be sitting this one out." Suzuki sighed.

"Ehhh?" Yamamoto complained immediately, "You have to go! Who else is going to scream in my ear?"

"I could help you with that." I grinned.

And it was settled. I sat between Fon and Yamamoto, Dino opted out stuttering something about having to protect Xiulan and Suzuki from any prowling men. Which is kind of dumb because the only people on this island are Vongola personnel and the former Arcobalenos at the moment.

"Are you ready, Yamamoto?" I grinned, feeling a little childish since I was in a place like this, "I'm going to scream my heart out right in your ear."

The unsuspecting Rain Guardian grinned right back at me, "If you're scared you can hold my hand too!"

Fon just shook his head mumbling, "Poor child."

The ride went up and it held up suspended for a long moment so I began to mumble to Yamamoto, "As the Vongola Rain Guardian, you did a good job in this last fight."

"Thanks?" He sounded a little confused but he was too busy waving to his girlfriend to really know what was about to happen.

The ride began to fall and in the five or six seconds it took to get to the bottom, I shouted right in his ear, "BUT I STILL THINK SQUALO-SENPAI IS BETTER!"

Needless to say, Yamamoto came off the ride saying that's not the kind of screaming he expected, not to mention I was smiling the whole time so it might have been kind of creepy for him but if it was strange, it didn't bother him for long. He sat next to me on the next ride, asking Dino to sit next to his girlfriend who was terrified out of her mind. Jealousy and envy forgotten completely, I enjoyed four or five different rides but Dino never tried to sit next to me and I didn't notice that until we sat down to eat. For the first time that day, Dino sat next to me. And it's not like he just naturally sat down next to me either. He glanced around like he was committing some sort of crime before sitting down.

"Something wrong?" I whispered, careful not to disturb the happy people that were selecting their meal. For Yamamoto, Dino, and me, this would be our first meal in a few days.

"N-No." He smiled but it looked like he was reassuring himself more than he was trying to comfort me, "It's just… You and Fon are related, right?"

Yes, Captain Obvious. What gave that away? The fact that he looks like my brother or the fact that he knows everything about my childhood? "Is that a problem?"

"O-Of course not. I just…" He laughed quietly, "I want him to like me."

Huh? Is there anyone that Fon doesn't like? Fon is so damn nice that he would probably still like you even if you walked right up and punched him in the face. Okay that was exaggerating a lot but Fon is nice. He doesn't hate people for no reason like me.

"He likes you." I said without thinking much and then I spoke up, "Hey. Order what you like. It's on me today."

"Yay! Kira-senpai's treating us!" Yamamoto grinned, "I'm starving."

"W-Wait!" Dino shouted, "I'll pay! I should pay!"

"Don't be an idiot." I snorted, "Fon eats like a monster despite those thin little limbs of his."

"Please look in the mirror before you say things like that." Fon chuckled, "You eat more than I do."

"Compete?"

"Compete." He nodded solemnly.

Fon's already lost. I haven't eaten in days!

Of course we ordered just about everything on the menu. Needless to say, poor skinny Fon got out eaten by yours truly.

"As expected of Kira-senpai!" Was the cheer from the Vongola Rain Guardian when I glanced up to tease Fon about his lack of stomach space.

"Come on, Fon." I said through another hotdog, "We haven't even tried dessert yet. Ice cream?"

"I think I'm going to be sick." Fon declared, holding his hand over his mouth. The trays stacked between us was hard to see around; it was more like a mountain of trays.

I glanced to his left, staring at the virtually untouched salad in front of Xiulan, "You don't eat much, do you? Want to finish Fon's hamburger or should I?"

She smiled at me sheepishly, "I'm sorry. I don't…"

"Ahhh…" Dino hummed, understanding something much faster than I did.

"What?" I demanded, "You don't like hamburgers?"

"She's a vegetarian." Fon mumbled.

She's an herbivore! LITERALLY! HOLY SHIT!

I grunted, taking a sideways glance at Dino, who immediately smiled at me, "So, tell me about the woman sitting next to you Fon."

"Zhang Xiulan, she's the daughter of a priestess I met before I was cursed as an Arcobaleno." He told me quickly, averting his eyes when he realized exactly what he had said. Fon had been an Arcobaleno for over thirty years. His statement revealed just how old he was in comparison to the woman beside him.

It was clear that Fon was uncomfortable so I knew he hadn't told a word of this to Kyoya. I turned a calm look onto Xiulan, "Did you know that Fon was a baby until just a little while ago?"

She smiled at me sheepishly, "We met a long time ago. I know almost everything."

I narrowed my eyes suspiciously. What exactly is almost everything? There's something I don't know here and I'm going to find out whether they like it or not.

Dino elbowed me lightly, his eyes shifting from mine to Fon's hand several times. I didn't understand what he was getting at. I just kept staring back and forth like Dino was an idiot until he pulled out the silver chain from under his shirt just the slightest bit and shifted his eyes once more. My eyes finally settled on the thin gold band on Fon's ring finger and I nearly died right there when I spotted the same band on Xiulan's. It was a hard shock to me to think of Fon being in a relationship with this woman. I had to reassess her.

Xiulan was a fairly pretty woman and she had a killer figure too but… the damn boobs. I internally groaned. What's wrong with my family and liking women with massive breasts?! Kyoya's woman has huge boobs and now this woman too.

Anyways, she wore no other rings so she was not a mafia woman. Fon said she was the daughter of a priestess so perhaps that was her occupation as well. She was elegant and kind but did she treat Fon well? That was the most important thing to me. I would not stomach a relationship where my family member was not treated like royalty. Well…. maybe not royalty but at least with kindness.

"Fon." I called and the former Arcobaleno finally looked up at me, "What is this really? You wanted me to meet her but this isn't just some random meeting is it? Who is she exactly?"

Fon's lips were stretched tight and his jaw was stiff but he answered my questions as requested, "I wanted to introduce you to Xiulan because she's… well, she's important to me. Just like Don Cavallone is important to you."

"I see." I said blankly, "Does Kyoya know?"

"He was informed but he was rather indifferent about it." He chuckled nervously, "Until he found out that she was vegetarian and that… she is unable to produce dying will flames. He said rather cruelly that he refused to acknowledge a complete herbivore."

I shifted my attention back to Xiulan, who looked almost nervous now that their relationship had been revealed along with her disabilities in the mafia style of combat. I could actually kind of understand why she was nervous. She wanted to be accepted by Fon's family. I couldn't completely understand because Dino's parents aren't alive anymore and I would never experience this but Dino does have Romario. If Romario refused to acknowledge me as Dino's…. whatever I am to him… I would be… crushed.

I sighed, "I must be growing soft. Under normal circumstances, I would never acknowledge someone who is an herbivore in both a literal and symbolic sense but there must be some good points to you if you were chosen by Fon. Tell me. Did you learn to fight from Fon?"

"Eventually, yes." She said softly, "Although it was just a fine-tuning of skills I learned from my mother."

"Are you any good?" I asked rather rudely.

"Maybe not in comparison to Fon or even you." She murmured.

"You're lucky." I reached across the table and snatched the half-eaten burger from Fon, "Fon's strong and wise so he'll protect you. But despite all that, Fon's got a lot of childish points and he's romantically disinclined. It must run in our blood. Anyways, take care of him."

Fon gaped at me, his eyes wide in surprise.

My cheeks turned pink in the awkward silence that followed.

"I'll take care of him for the rest of my life." She promised me, "Don't worry."

"That's good." I said awkwardly, the hamburger in my hands suddenly not so appealing under the gaze of the others around the table.

"Cute." Dino said suddenly and when Fon's eyes turned onto him, he stuttered out, "I-I-I mean… Sorry!"

"You're such a shame." A sharp yet teasing voice drew our attention to the trio approaching our table. The hitman Reborn at the head of the group was smirking at me like I was his plaything, "Have you paid yet?"

"I will in a minute." I grumbled through another mouthful of Fon's unfinished burger, my eyes were drawn to Kyoya and his girlfriend, "Yo."

Kyoya's eyes narrowed in a glare and he put his hand out, "Who told you to eat a hamburger without me?"

"I was eating a hotdog." Or twenty hotdogs… "This is Fon's."

"It's mine now." Kyoya snatched it out of my hands, "I'll take it as payment."

"For what?"

"I'm charging you a fine for crowding." He snarled, "Normally, I would bite you all to death but I'll let you off the hook this one time."

"Anyways." Reborn said sharply, pulling out a golden card from his pocket, "I'll pay for your meal today."

That was awfully suspicious and everyone knew it. We demanded, "Why?"

"Shut up and accept my kindness." Reborn snorted, shooing us away as soon as we were done eating, "You'll see why later on."

"I want to pay." Dino was glared into silence by a very persistent Reborn.

And that was the only bad part of the entire day. Reborn's strange kindness. I have a feeling that he's got more lined up for us especially since he said we're free to roam tomorrow too. Apparently, this whole place is going to be reserved for our group only tomorrow. I've got a bad feeling about this.

I'm sorry you had to be an herbivore, Xiulan. I just thought it would be so amusingggggg but then it kinda fit the character so I left it.
