A.N: Wow, I'm at a filler, before the finale. Wow, I can't believe it's gone so fast. I went to CTN expo yesterday and I met a ton of cool people. Giancarlo did a storyboard session and I attended. I found some fellow fanterns and for examples, Giancarlo used the scene between Aya and Hal in Cold Fury and the battle of the manhunters in that episode also. Everyone was like, 'wow what a cool scene' and 'look at the lighting' and then me and my fantern friends were like, 'ooh the feels!' I also had my portofolio reviewed by big companies. They were really impressed but I think they were just saying that because I'm a junior in high school

PandPearl1: I really hate altering things, but I will add something.

Luminesyra: I read about Laira after you mentioned her. I thinking of adding characters to the sequal, so she'll probably make an appearance.

Iskander06: I knew that part but wait! I have to put Ryner, maybe in the sequal. I'm defently going to make Sinestro harness yellow energy. I have to read about the Indigo Lanterns though, because I want to put them in as well. I was defenetly thinking putting Arquillo in but i'll look into Rankorr

Beawolf's Pen: I know, show cliff hangers are the worst. I still have second chance on my next driving test. OMG the fanart for Tomar-Re's kids are precious, he has a son and a niece, acoording to the comics. Yes, character development, and since you seem to know a lot about him, would you like to help me with him in the sequal?

JEN-M: Is it blocked? Ok, deviantart, sure, I'll try and get it up as soon as possible. Wow, that's a lot of alien species…..time to look up on Wikia!

Ok, filler time. Oh and I found a random comic character and put her in here and another I made up.

I don't own GLTAS

This is War

The whole time we were silent as we flew out of Ranx and back to where the Green Lantern army was regrouping. We flew out and saw all the Manhunter's had gone and disappeared, as if they weren't there in the first place. The only evidence of them ever being here was the massive headache everyone was getting after waking up from being knocked out by Aya-Monitor. Guy came up to us and said, "You see that! We didn't even have to lift a finger and their all gone!"

"They're gone and it's not because of your not-so-genius plan, Guy." Hal began. Anyone who was near came around and surrounded us with questions. Hal simply put his hand up and said, "The Anti-Monitor's head survived and made its way here…." Hal explained everything that happened and only in little detail of what Aya's next move was. So he finished with, "Guy, I have to report back to the guardians. This was just the beginning but the last battle is coming."

Suddenly, a roar of whispering erupted among the crowd among us but Guys got everyone to be quiet and said, "Ok, let's just head back to Oa and have the Guardians catch up on what's going on. We'll get the game plan started from there.

)))))))))))) One Hour Later ((((((((((((((((

After what felt like we were flying forever, the whole corp made it back to Oa. Once I immediately landed, I was called in by the new head of our healing department, Syad. Luckily she took the position and not someone like Appa. Syad told all our healers to report to the med bay because some of the Corp was closer to Aya when she used her knock out ray. Those guys were still out cold. A fellow healer, Zeena began to pull me to the building. "Friend Mary, we must go."

"Wait, but I have to-"

"Go."

I turned to look at Hal and the crew. I said, "But what about you guys, we have to inform the Guardians."

"We'll do that." Hal reassured me, "They need you more than we do now."

I nodded and grabbed his hand tight. "Ok, good luck." Then Zeena pulled my other hand harder, making me let go of Hal's and pulling me away into the now crowded building. When I got into to the main floor, I found out that there were not a lot of hurt people. Only like about fifteen. I thought there would be a hundred. I asked Syad, "We have more than like thirty Healers on sight, why do we need everybody."

"Lately there has been a decrease in our chosen healers."

"Really? Why?"

"I don't know, but it had started decreasing ever since Ganthet was banished. Only three our Healers have died of old age in the past few months, but when the ring chose a new host, they were not given abilities. And some of our Healers are just losing the ability all together."

"What? How many do we have left?"

"Only about ten left."

"Oh my g-"

"Friend Mary!"

Zeena yelled for me across the hall and I saw her point to a passing room next to her. "Take this one!"

"Got it!" I left Syad floating there as I ran to the room I was assigned.

I came in and saw one of the oldest members of the Green Lantern corps I know. Her name was Adara. She looked like a human, except for her green skin of course. She wore black leggings like me and a green shirt but it was a V-neck. She always wore a green bandana on her head to keep her short hair from flying everywhere. I went to her bedside and looked at her wounds. There was some burn marks, most of today's patients were like that because Aya's blast had some sort of radiation. I took a seat on a small chair next to her med bed and took her arm and began to heal her.

As I did, my thoughts drifted to the day were first met. It was my second day on Oa and Killowag was showing me around. He brought me to the place where all the high elite part of the corps hung out. It was very well furnished and it made it seem like who ever walked in could just sit down and just be around everybody. Killowag got distracted as an old rival of his said something mean to him and he left me standing to talk sense into the guy. I was so intrigued by the word fight that I sat down on a random sofa chair. Big Mistake. A huge rock monster green lantern walked over and said that as his chair. Me, only having been on Oa for a short time, just sat there in fright as the rock monster face came close to mine. Before he could lay a hand on me, a sweet voice came from behind him and we both looked to see Adara standing there, all brave like, hands on her hips. She said to Creole, the rock monster, that she would handle this. She took my hand gently and told me to follow her. I did as I was told and she walked me over to where Killowag was still smack talking with his rival. She ended it by pinching both their next, making them freeze and told them to get back to work. As Killowag was recuperating, Adara kneeled over eye level with me and introduced herself and if I was ever in need of council, I could go to her.

Really my council ended up being Ganthet, but there were times when I wanted to hang out at the elites place and I would usually go in and ask her random questions. My thoughts were interrupted when I heard someone say in a groggy voice, "Child, I think you can let go now." My eyes widened and I looked at Adara smiling, half sleepily, at me.

"Oh sorry." I let go of her in seeing as her wounds were closed up and all that was left was scares.

"It's good to see you well, Mary."

"You, too, Adara."

"So, tell me. Rumor is going around and I can't get enough until I hear truth. What is the Frontier like?"

"Amazing, so colorful. A bunch of different people out there."

"Incredible, you know, I used to live right on the edge of the Maelstrom. The elders would tell us of a world of monsters and people who lived among them and tamed them. And the only way to see them was to cross the Maelstrom. But, there was never a way to pass it."

"I don't know, there are monsters, but they could be friendly."

"I do think so, too. But, the elders are gone now. I could only be there every so often."

"Why?"

"Well, I'm in sector sixty two. One of the farthest sectors in Guardians space. It takes almost six months to travel at top speed."

"Really?"

"Yes, I wish I could go there now. Say bye to my family."

"Why?"

"Well, it might probably be the end of life itself as we know it. I know I shouldn't loss hope, but just in case….i want to make sure to end lies and secrets. End doubts and worries. Those who are lucky are probably with their kin now."

I thought about what she said, and couldn't help but think of my friends back on Earth. It could be the last time I ever see them. I didn't want to think it was the end, but I guess moments like these don't come to everyone, and those who do have it should make the most of it. "I have to go." I got up from my seat and said, "I have to see someone."

))))))))))) One hour later ((((((((((

I flew up to Vivian's window and knocked on the door. She was currently sitting on her working desk, reading a book. The moment I knocked the book literally flew out of her hands and she fell on the floor. I cringed as I saw her face turn to pain. I heard muffled yelling from one door. She was going to reply when she saw me flying outside the window, giving her a sad look. She answered, "I'm ok, mom, I got to a scary part in my book." Vivian got up and put her chair back to sitting position. Then she went to her window and as soon as she opened it she hissed, "Mary, how many times do I have to tell you not to sneak up on me when I'm reading a horror story?"

"Sorry, but I had to come."

"Why? Are you in trouble again?"

"No." I sat at the window ceil and said, "The whole damn universe is in trouble."

"I know, you told me. Aya turned crazy and is off to destroy star systems-"

"But now there is something worse."

"What could be worse than that?" When I told her everything that happened in the past two days, she said "Oh that is worse than star systems." She stood there at the window looking down sadly. I still sat at the edge of the window, letting her take it all in. After the long silence, she said, "So you came to say good bye."

"Not really, but just in case Hal doesn't come up with a plan that we know will work…" I faltered as I didn't want to say the rest.

Vivian then sat on the edge, next to me, from inside her room. I heard her sniffle and then she hugged me saying, "Mary I'm so scared."

I wrapped my hands around her and said. "I know me too. But I promise me and the whole Green Lantern Corp are going to do whatever we can to stop her. I'm not going to let it happen, especially now since I just got back home and resolved everything."

"I know you will." Vivian let go of me, "Cause you're my best friend, and I know you won't let that happen." Suddenly her eyes darted from between me and outside the window. "But, I'm not the only one you might want to see." What? She turned my head around to face Cody in his blue lantern form hovering outside the window.

He said, "I thought you would be here."

"I'll leave you two to chat it out." She said with a smile. I rolled my eyes and then flew off her window ceil letting her close the screen on me. She opened it again though for a second and said, "But if anything does happen, you've always been a good friend." She gave me a warm smiled and then shut the window. Turning away from my view.

I sighed and looked up at Cody who was flying a little bit farther up then me. He had a worried look that seemed to tell me he knew something was up. "So it's true. Something bad is going to happen. I sensed it about an hour ago and I just couldn't drop the feeling. So I went to your house to ask and you and Hal weren't there. So I came here and I find Vivian almost in tears."

"Yeah, I guess you could say something is….." Suddenly some emotions started to boil in me and I started to stutter. "Co-Cody. We couldn't save Aya. There-there was just no way. She really has changed. She's so far gone. Bent on taking all life from the universe. She's found a way to go back in time, and destroy life from the moment it was born."

"She's going to stop the big bang."

"In Earth Terms, yes."

"Oh man. Is she really gone?"

I sighed and nodded, "Even Razer has given up hope."

"No…." Cody gasped. "What's going to happen?"

"We're going to fight, and try and finish her and all the Manhunters off. It's the only way." I turned away and looked down, hugging myself. I was so nervous right now, I felt like I was shrinking as the pressure increased. Then a hand was place on my shoulder and it suddenly felt like warmth and comfort was all I need to get through this, that didn't need to worry.

I turned my head to look at Cody who had one hand on my shoulder and the other hand went over and grabbed my left hand, squeezing it tight, reassuring me. He said, "Things are going to be fine. We'll win this, I hope. But-but I'm not letting you go out there on your own. I'm coming with you."

"But Cody you-"

"I know, I suck at fighting. But it doesn't hurt to bring me along, in case something happens."

"I'm not saying you suck at fighting." He lifted and eyebrow, "Ok, maybe a little, but what I mean is that maybe you should be with your family."

"I'd rather fight side by side with you."

"You don't have to-"

"Please." He pleaded, his deep blue eyes looking into my chocolate brown. I couldn't help but stare at him and see his face full of grim yet a hint of hope. I knew he didn't think this could all work but I loved it how he was trying his best to make it look like there was a chance.

Suddenly he looked down at where his hands were and he instantly turned a bright red. I looked down and saw that we were holding each other's hands, our fingers intertwined, as if they fit perfectly in between each other's fingers. I made a yip sound and flew back a little, letting go of our grip on each other. He made a coughing sound and I just fixed my hair, trying to make this moment less awkward then it already had become. I managed to say, "So…um….let's head on up then."

Cody nodded and started to fly off and before I could follow after him, I heard a whistle. I looked down at Vivian's window and saw her leaning outside on the window ceil. She then wiggled her eyebrows at me and I knew what she meant by that. I scuffed and then flew off.

A.N: Due to the fact I was writing the last episode while listening to this is war by thirty seconds, I thought I would use it as the title. There are two Adara's, a Green Lantern and the blue entity for the Hope. I am referring to the GL, if you didn't get that. For those of you who were waiting, here's Cody! Weird stuff is happening with the healing department. I'm still fixing up the whole Blue Lantern and Green Lantern healing authority thing straight, I decied to let it make sense instead of just making it dissapear with no real reason Ok, I have to do homework because I procrastinated all weekend and I think it's time I get serious, I'm a Junior for crying out load. Ok, I'm KikaKatTIOI, peace out!
