Author's Note: I'm finally back! Sorry guys. It's been kinda busy irl. I'm trying my best. I'm getting older and older, so there's more and more stuff that has to be taken care of before I can get to working on my hobbies. I'll finish this eventually though!

Disclaimer: I do not own Katekyo Hitman Reborn.

When we get back to Japan, I turn my cell on to find that I've been bombarded with calls. I missed a call from Sawada and a boatload from Kusakabe and several other Discipline Committee members. I call Kusakabe back first. He never calls me this much. Ever. He picks up almost immediately. "Sato-san, have you returned to Japan?" he asks.

"Um, yes. I've just returned home," I reply. Mukuro gives me a questioning look and I mouth that I'll explain later. "Did something happen?"

"Hibari-san became quite agitated after you left," he replied. "If you could let him know what you've come back, I think that it would help him." I hear a faint beeping sound in the background.

"Kusakabe-san, are you alright?" I ask.

"I-It's nothing," he replies. "They're just minor injuries." I should seriously bring him something later, shouldn't I? I was the one who got him to deliver the message that I was going to be in France for a bit… "Please, speak to Hibari-san for a bit," he insists.

"Alright, I understand," I reply. "Take care, Kusakabe-san," I reply. I stare at my cell phone's screen for a second before I call Sawada. "Hello? This is Sato, Kasumi. May I speak to Sawada, Tsunayoshi, please?" I ask. when someone picks up on the other end.

"S-Sato-san?" Sawada greets on the other end.

"Oh, hello," I say. "You called?"

"About Chrome…" he starts.

I close my eyes. "Ah, that," I reply. "I'm afraid I don't know what brought that up," I say. "Mukuro-sama's back now, so I'm not the one making the decisions anymore. You'll have to ask him for yourself."

He doesn't respond for a bit. "Alright," he replies. "Thanks."

"Sorry I couldn't be of any help," I say. "See you at school." I hang up. I let out a sigh.

"You've become very popular," Mukuro comments.

"Hm, not really," I reply. I sigh. "I'm really just getting people injured and worried." I shake my head. "I'm going to head out for a bit then. I'll bring back food for dinner on the way." Mukuro nods. "Fran, are you up for a walk?"

"What am I, a puppy?" he replies.

I raise an eyebrow at him. "Shall I put you on a leash?"

He rolls his eyes at me. "Coming, coming. Geez, you're so mean to me," he says.

"That's what I'm here for," I reply as we head out, "Mukuro-sama put me in charge of 'babysitting' you, remember?"

I head to Hibari's place first. I wait after ringing the doorbell. Hibari opens the door with a grouch expression. He's glaring at me. "Um, I'm back?" I offer. His glare intensifies and I cringe. "I'm sorry for leaving on such sort notice, um… I um…"

"Detention. One week after school every day," he says.

I nod slowly. Don't I usually stay after school with you anyways…? Does this mean I'm not getting paid this week? "Of course," I say. "I'll see you tomorrow morning then." He nods and his attention shifts to Fran who appears to be poking something with a stick. I raise an eyebrow at Fran. Are you kidding me? "This is my kouhai, Fran," I explain, "He's a bit, um, challenged…" I shake my head. "Fran, let's go." I bow a bit to Hibari and head out. Fran follows a bit later.

"Who's that?" he asks.

"Hibari-san," I reply.

He continues, "That's it? Who is he?"

"He a, um…" I start, trying to find the right word. "A boss? No, that's not quite it. A friend…? I guess? Sort of."

"Why do you always have to go and make this so complicated?" Fran replies.

"I'm not," I reply. I sigh as we head back into the shopping district so I can get some flowers for Kusakabe. It's my fault that he got beat up. As we pass by a taiyaki stand, I catch Fran eyeing it. I head over to the stand and buy six of them. I take one for myself and pass the bag to Fran. "Here."

"Don't give me your junk, Senpai," he replies. He eats one anyways and I roll my eyes.

"A simple 'thank you' would be fine, you know?" I say as we continue to head to the flower shop.

Fran mutters, "Thanks."

My eyes widen a little and then I smile a bit. I nod and pat his hood. "No problem." I pick up a small bonsai from the flower shop instead of a bouquet because I think it would be weird to give Kusakabe a bouquet. In any case, this should be okay since he seems like the kind to like bonsai.

"What's the ugly plant for?" Fran asks.

"Kusakabe-san," I reply.
"Who's that?"

"A friend,"

Fran's expression continues to stay flat. "Ohh, so you don't have trouble answering this one, but you do with the other guy."

"Fran, shut up."

"Roger." He salutes and I can't help but laugh a bit.
