Roxstarchic0263 - Aww its okay, I'm glad that this is of your fave stories hehe :3 Anyway, I'm glad about that too, the twins need someone to be close with, so she's like a sister to them... Glad you liked that about Tala, things were getting hectic so she needed to age faster... I agree, more scenes are needed between Valda, Derek and Tala, they are now a family, so I will try because I have noticed Derek hasn't been in it a lot, which is a little annoying :/... I'm glad you liked the badass Tala, more will be done:3
Fresh Breeze - I know right?! I loved Stiles, he is amazing, I don't want him to get hurt :( Glad to hear your cured, didn't want one of my fave reviewers to stay ill! But I'm glad to hear your cured haha :)
Valda looked away from the control box and saw a wire dangling over the edge. She then heard a screech, crash, and something spilling. She ran to the edge and looked over, seeing two dead bodies in the water, the wire touching it. Kira was near the edge, with Allison Isaac, who was on the floor and not moving. Scott and Derek joined her and looked at the scene. "Jump." Scott said and did just that, landing on a car below. Valda followed and landed beside Scott, Derek landing last and managing to stay on. Valda saw Tala running out the hospital and about to run into the electrified water when Valda shouted over to her, "Tala stop! The water if electrified. Do not touch it!" Tala listened and stood still, staying near the entrance.
The three on the car watched as Kira jumped on another car and grabbed the end of the wire, the trio watched as she absorbed the power. Valda slowly steps down and when she find out the water was safe, Kira's mum runs out the hospital and stares at her daughter. Derek jumped off the car and ran to the still Isaac, checking for his health.
Two days later, Valda was sitting at the kitchen counter, cuddling a mug of tea. The events of that night run though her head, like fresh film. How a badly burnt Isaac was wheeled into hospital, followed by Allison. A deputy telling the group that Stiles' jeep was seen leaving. Kira's mum telling her daughter off sternly yet quietly. Scott's father saying how the wire was cut on purpose and Derek telling Scott the truth about Stiles to Stilinski.
Valda was snapped out, when she felt a pair of arms wrap around her middle. "Stop thinking about it." Derek said softly. Valda sighed and relaxed against her mate. "I try, I really do. But its so hard." Derek kissed her neck, then replied, "I know, it will take time. But things will get better, just take it day by day." Valda hmmed in agreement. Just then, Tala came out whistling a tune. "What do you want?" Valda asked. Tala turned round and gave her innocent look, "Why would I want anything. I have the best parents ever!" Derek and Valda tilted their heads as if to say, 'your joking right?' Tala sighed and dropped the innocent look, shutting the fridge door. "Can I get a tattoo like yours? Please?" She whined while begging.
Derek and Valda looked at each other, then turned back to their daughter. Valda shrugged while Derek said, "Yeah, why not." Tala looked gobsmacked. "You joking me. Your just saying yes? But...but we have to argue! We have to give each other silent treatments then you give up and let me do it." Tala exclaimed. Derek chuckled when Valda said, "Well, we aren't exactly normal." Tala was silent, then smiled. She walked over to her parents and hugged them and saying, "You guys are the best!"
Tala let go and Derek chuckled, walking into the bathroom to have a shower. Valda looked at the clock on the wall and stood, "C'mon, time for school." Tala nodded at her mum and after grabbing their bags, they left the flat.
When they arrived, they were ten minutes late. Valda waved goodbye to Tala who had art with Lydia, while Valda walked into her class, Coach being the teacher. "Sorry I'm late." Valda said, quickly taking her seat. Coach sighed and replied, "Oh its fine Valda, we will wait every second for your arrival." Valda rolled her eyes at Coach, who started the lesson. "Alright, first of, this is to the team, but could be to his friends, if any of you see Stiles, report back to any teacher. Now," Coach paused as he held up a huge A3 get well card. "Isaac is badly injured and in hospital. So we will be writing him messages. I want to read messages that will bring tears to my eyes."
Danny was the first to sign, as he grabbed the pen from Coach, he said to Danny, "Keep it PG." Valda snorted into her hand, which was heard by Danny who sat beside her. Valda stood next and signed her name, then added her message,
Hey Isaac, I'm not going to write cheesy or corny, as that is so not my style. But get well Isaac, my big brother, and soon, I need someone to insult and annoy.
Val
After Valda sat down and watched the rest of the class sign the card, the class finally began and Coach started teaching.
After the lesson, Valda walked out to see Tala waiting. "Hey Val." Tala said with a smile. Val nodded and dug through her bag, finding her phone. "Your dad just texted me." Valda said. They looked at the screen, reading the words, 'Need some help.' Valda sighed and put her phone away and said, "Why do I have to save the day, I swear, he is now the damsel in distress." Tala chuckled at her mum and walked out the school building. Tala walked to the motor bike but Valda stopped her. "No, to slow. We're running. I'll pick it up later." Tala nodded and followed her mum, both running at vampire speed.
With the help of Tala's werewolf senses, the two found Derek and Chris Argent handcuffed to a bench outside Sherriff Stilinski's office.. "What have you two done now?" Valda asked irritated. "There of one of his sonic emitters in our flat. So I went to his flat to confront him when he said it wasn't him. We then discover his cabinet has been forced open, to find a lot of money. Scott's dad shows up, claims that Silverfinger is dead and we are so busted." Derek explained quickly, referencing to Chris as 'he, him, his'. Valda pinched the bridge of her nose, then let go and let out a deep sigh.
"Okay, Tala, we need to get arrested." Valda said and Tala nodded. Valda looked round and spotted a shiny, expensive looking car out the window. "I bet that car is Agent McCall." Valda said as a hint. Tala smirked and nodded, running outside and grabbing the door and with easy strength, wrenched the door open. Valda climbed into the drivers side, Tala in the passenger and started the car. They say McCall walk out and noticed them, starting to shout and run to them. "Mum floor it!" Tala screamed. Valda floored the pedal and sped out the car park, to hear shooting.
She looked in the mirror and saw McCall shooting at them. One bullet hit the back wheel, sending them weaving into the street. McCall ran up, opened the door and pushed the two out. He put handcuffs on both of them and put them on the bench, with Derek and Chris. McCall huffed and walked round a corner. "Well...that worked." Valda said, inspecting her shoes. "Yeah, nearly died." Derek replied. Valda chuckled, "A bullet needs to do more to kill me." Derek smirked at her, loving her cheery side.
"Why would Stiles want to try and frame us?" Chris asked, starting a new convocation. "Maybe its not him, something in him controls him at times." Derek replied. "Like the whole Kanima thing? Only changes when someone wants him to do something." Valda asked. Derek nodded to the similarities as Chris sighed, then spoke, "I'm not convinced of wants going on at the moment. I just need time to figure it all out." Chris looked to the family beside him, "Tala, Valda, Derek, I want my attorney to represent you as well." The three looked at each other, not knowing what to say.
"But we aren't being convicted for the same crime as you." Tala pointed out. Chris simply chuckled, "I know, but Agent McCall will want to see some punishment, so I want my attorney to help you and your mum in case McCall goes a bit far." Tala nodded and watched as he dad shook his cuffed wrist. "I could just break these, I'm getting tired of just sitting and waiting." Chris did the same with his cuffed hand, then settled down to reply, "I would break this as well, but I don't really want to become a fugitive. Just wait a little longer."
Derek settled down, silently agreeing with the hunter, "Fine. But if something happens, don't expect me to risk my life for you." Chris simply nodded and Valda leaned further down against the bench, rolling her eyes at the two men near her. They then heard screaming and running, looking round as officers panicked. One ran up and quickly unlocked all their handcuffs then darted down the corridor. "What the?" Tala asked, rubbing her wrist as she stood. Valda was equally confused, but then heard ticking. She opened Stilinski's office door to see a wrapped box. She walked closer and gasped when the ticking got louder.
She ran out the office and saw McCall coming towards him. "Derek, protect him!" Valda shouted, pointing at the agent. Derek obeyed and grabbed the man, covering his body with his own. Valda grabbed Tala and both crouched in front of Chris, then took the pain as the box stopped ticking, a moment of silence, then an explosion.
Valda opened her eyes and looked round, seeing the was lying on the floor. She pushed herself up and saw Stiles and Scott in the destroyed building. "Valda." A voice said, to Valda's happiness it was her father. "Dad!" She said then tried to move, but gasped in pain. Her father looked her back and then at her face, "There is glass in your back, I'm going to pull it out." Valda nodded and stayed still as her father did his best to pull out the glass.
Tala saw her mum and ran towards her, crouching in front of her. Valda looked at her dad, noticing he had cuts on his cheek, arms and hands, but must have not been near when the blast happened. Valda looked to her daughter, to see her wrist bandaged and cuts slowly healing. Valda smirked, realising she must of let the paramedics help her, to act normal. "Is Derek okay?" Valda asked, feeling her back slowly heal. Jimmy nodded and Valda sighed, at least her family wasn't dead. Just having a load of drama to deal with.
