Hello, everyone, and welcome back to the Longest Road! Last time, Ash and Misty met Richie, who took some time to explain how he got captured by Team Rocket. Also, Jessie and James began to think about quitting Team Rocket. But they need some help, which they are going to get in this chapter! Another thing that will happen in this chapter is seeing what Pikachu and Vaporeon and Togepi are up to in their cell. What will happen? Well, there is only one way to find out! It is time for the fiftieth chapter of The Longest Road, and the first one in 2019! Let's start the year off with a bang, everyone!

"Yeah, I remember that abuse that the boss gave us over the years," Jessie said before she took off her shirt and showed her partner one of the bite marks that were STILL on her skin after eight months and 47 chapters, and will probably stay on there for the rest of her life.

"Well," James said to his partner, "I know that we can escape his abuse if we just quit from Team Rocket."

"I know that. But won't leaving Team Rocket just make him angrier?" Jessie asked. Sure, she and James were his least favorite grunts of them all, but he still wants the number of people in his organization to grow to inflict more terror in the Kanto Region.

"Don't worry, we are going to find a way out of this mess," James said before he went in to kiss her. Jessie returned the kiss before the two stripped naked and started to make out on the back of a tree.

"How do you think Meowth and the rest of the Pokemon will react when they hear that we decided to quit Team Rocket?" Jessie asked.

"I am honestly not sure, Jessie," James said, "But I am sure Meowth is not going to be pleased, as he is the only Pokemon that I know of, if not the only Pokemon in the entire world who chooses to do evil deeds at his own will. But I don't think we should worry about it." James said. They continued to have sex before they heard someone screaming.

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TWO DOING?!" the two Rocket grunts looked up to see Meowth looking over them.

"Why did you scream at us?" Jessie asked in shock. She never saw the Scratch Cat Pokemon that mad.

"I am sorry for doing that to you and James, Jessie," Meowth said, "I just had a headache, okay? Anyways, I was checking in on how you two were doing when I saw you two making out. You really shouldn't be slacking off on da job, you two."

"Yeah, about that," James said, "Jessie and I have decided that we are no longer going to be a part of Team Rocket."

Meowth just stared blankly at James before asking him, "Repeat dat, Jimmy?"

"Jessie and I have decided that we are no longer going to be a part of Team Rocket," James told the Normal-type Pokemon.

"WHAT?!" Meowth said before he began to scratch Jessie and James furiously, angry that they would say that. Meowth thought for a moment that they weren't Jessie and James at all, and they must be two people posing as them.

"Meowth, stop that!" Jessie said as Meowth ripped her and James's clothes off.

"I can't let you two quit Team Rocket!" the cat said to his friends.

"Please, Meowth," James said, "Listen to us. Are you tired of the way Giovanni treats us?"

The Scratch Cat Pokemon stopped scratching Jessie and James and said to him, "Yeah, so?"

"Well, after being abused by Giovanni for so long, I think it is time for us to leave the organization for good." the blue-haired Rocket said to the cat, "Now, how about if you gather the rest of our Pokemon so we can tell them the news."

Meowth sighed before nodding and heading through the forest to gather the rest of Jessie and James's Pokémon.

An hour later, Arbok, Weezing, Victreebel, and Lickitung were standing in front of their trainers.

"We didn't find Brock or Sssabrina yet, Jesssie," Arbok said to the red-haired Rocket.

"About that," Jessie said to all of the Pokémon.

"What is it?" Weezing asked.

"Jessie and I have decided that we are going to quit Team Rocket."

All of the Pokémon except for Meowth stared at the two for a full minute.

"So," Jessie said, "What do you guys think about our choice?"

The moment those words came out of Jessie's mouth, the four Pokémon charged at the Rocket Grunts to attack them, but Meowth stopped them.

"STOP!" he shouted, "Just listen to dem, alright?!" Meowth said to the three Poison-type and one normal-type Pokemon.

"Thank you, Meowth," James said, "Now, we had decided to quit Team Rocket because of the way the boss treats me, Jessie, Meowth, and pretty much every other grunt in Team Rocket."

"Sssssssssso," Arbok said, "What are we going to do when we ssssssstop being a part of Team Rocket?"

"Well, I don't exactly know what we are going to do afterward, but I do know what we are going to do now," James said.

"What?" Weezing asked.

"We are going to bring our former team to justice," Jessie said, "But we are going to need some help from some people we don't exactly like."

"Who might they be?" Victreebel asked.

"The twerps," James said.

Their Pokemon just looked at them in silence before Lickitung broke it by saying, "What?"

"The twerps," Jessie said, "And I have a good idea on where two of them might be." And with that, she began to run towards Pewter City, with James, Meowth, and the other Pokemon right behind her.

Meanwhile, in the Pewter City gym, Brock and Sabrina were talking to Forrest about their journeys through the Kanto region and their relationship so far, mainly what happened over the last couple of chapters.

"Well, I hope your friends are doing alright." Brock's father said, "Anyways, how are you two doing?"

"We are doing well, dad," the squinty-eyed man said to his father. Just then, they heard a knock on the door.

"I'll get it," Brock said before opening the door to see three familiar faces standing in the doorway.

"Oh crap! Them again!" he thought to himself before running back to the living room and telling Sabrina and his father that Team Rocket was here, and they should probably go and deal with them. The three trainers headed towards the door before sending out their Pokemon.

"If you three losers don't leave on the count of three," Forrest said to Jessie, James, and Meowth, "Our Pokemon are going to strike you, you are not going to know what year it is! One!"

"Wait!" Jessie said.

"We are not here to attack you!" James said.

"Alakazam," Sabrina said, "Use Psychic to hold them in place!"

"TWO!" Forrest said.

"Wait, you two," Brock said, "They said they are not going to attack."

"Yeah, we came here to tell you and Sabrina that we have decided to quit Team Rocket!"

Brock, Sabrina, and Forrest just stared at the TRio blankly before Forrest ordered his Golem to use Rock Slide on the Rockets and their Pokemon. Luckily for Team Rocket, Brock told his Onix to cover them so that the falling rocks would not hit them.

"Thanks, Brock," James said before asking Sabrina to make her Alakazam let him, Jessie, Meowth, and the rest of their Pokemon go from the psychic grip.

"Only once you explain to us what is going on," Sabrina said.

"Alright," James said, I got the idea to quit Team Rocket after your fellow twerp Ash asked us why we were still a part of Team Rocket after I dealt with the problem that made me join in the first place."

"And what is that problem, exactly?" Brock asked the blue-haired Team Rocket member.

"Well, back when I was around your age," James said, "My parents forced me to marry a girl who was a little like Jessie, only more sadistic. After a year with her as my fiance, I decided to run away, and since I couldn't find any other job, I ended up joining Team Rocket. That was where I ended up meeting Jessie and Meowth. Isn't that right?"

"Yes," Jessie said before going in to kiss him, only to forget that they couldn't move.

"Anyways," James said, "Life in Team Rocket was good, but that was until we failed our first mission, stealing every Pokemon that we could find in the Viridian City Pokemon Center. That was when we figured out what Giovanni did to grunts who failed."

Forrest gasped and asked him, "What happened to them?"

"You do not want to know," James said, "But hearing how Giovanni treats employees will make you think he is a big box store manager rather than a crime boss. He gives us whips us on the back, he has his Persian bite us, the work conditions within the organization are horrible, and he gives us rock-bottom wages, most of which go to medical bills for what happens when we get injured from a mission or Giovanni himself."

"Oh no, that is terrible," Brock thought to himself.

"Luckily we dealt with the abusive fiance problem eleven chapters back," Jessie said, "But we didn't think of quitting until Ash asked us why the hell we were still in Team Rocket."

"Alright," Sabrina said before telling her partner Pokemon to let them go. Alakazam released the Rockets from their grip, and they fell onto the floor. After Brock helped them up, he asked Jessie and James where Ash and Misty were.

"Oh, I believe they are still in their cell, and we need you and Sabrina to help get them out," she said, "We have already told Giovanni that we have captured you two, and so we need your help getting your friends out of HQ and the rest of Team Rocket in prison."

Brock and Sabrina just stood there for a moment in silence before nodding.

"Alright," Brock said, "We are going to help you, but only if you destroy your Rocket ID cards before we go and save Ash and Misty."

Jessie and James reached into their pockets and pulled out a pair of ID cards that had their necessary information on it, as well as a big red letter "R" to show that they were Rocket grunts. They proceeded to throw them onto the ground and stomp them before asking Arbok and Weezing to do the rest.

"Asssssssss you wish, Jesssssssie," Arbok said before she used Poison Sting and Weezing used Smog to try and get rid of those awful pieces of plastic.

When they were gone, Brock knew that they were for real, he and the others wanted to save Ash and Misty after all of the trouble they put them, Sabrina, and himself throughout the story.

"Come on, guys," Brock said to Sabrina, Jessie, James, Meowth, and the other Pokemon, "We have a pair of trainers and a whole lot of Pokemon to save!" They then headed out the door before Brock looked at his father.

"Dad," the squinty-eyed man said, "I want to make sure that you stay safe, so I want you and my siblings to stay inside in case any more Rockets decide to show up uninvited!"

"Alright, Brock," Forrest said to his son, "Good luck on your mission." And with that, Brock and his Onix hurried up to the rest so that their mission to save Ash and Misty.

Meanwhile, in the storage cell of Team Rocket HQ, Pikachu, Vaporoen, and Togepi were planning their escape so that they could reunite with their trainers hopefully by chapter's end. They got some help with another Pikachu, who preferred to be called Sparky. Sparky told Ash's Pikachu that he has been trapped in here for a little less than a week, and has been wanting to escape for a couple of days now.

"Is your trainer a nice one, Sparky?" Vaporeon asked the spiky-haired Pikachu.

"Yeah," the mouse said the Water-Type, "Why are you asking, so you can hook up our trainers?"

This question got Ash's Pikachu angry, so he used Quick Attack on Sparky.

"There is no way that Misty is going to get with your trainer, Sparky!" Pikachu shouted at Sparky, "Besides, indigo is Northstar's second least favorite color, right after orange. Which is ironic considering that the Indigo and Orange arcs are his two favorite seasons of the canon."

"I think that I have had enough with you talking about how much Northstar hates seeing my trainer with anyone who is not named Ash," Vaporeon said to Pikachu, "We have to find a way out of here!"

"Well, my idea is is to throw these Pokeballs on the door until some Rocket Grunts show up," Sparky said to Pikachu, Vaporeon, and Togepi, "And then we then try to defeat their Pokemon before running towards our trainers."

"That's a good idea, Sparky," Pikachu said before he grabbed the Pokeballs he knew belonged to Ash before he picked one of them up and threw it at the steel wall. Vaporeon and Sparky did the same, only using the Pokeballs that belonged to Misty and Richie respectively. They continued to throw the balls at the wall, hoping that a Rocket Grunt would show up soon so they could get out.

Giovanni was watching the security cameras on the computer in his office. All seemed to be well, that is until he looked at what was going on in the storage room. Three of the Pokemon were trying to break out by throwing the other Pokeballs! He pressed a button to contact every grunt in the building.

"There are some Pokemon who are trying to break out of their captivity, my grunts!" Giovanni shouted, "I want all of you to stop the rebellion that is happening in the storage cell IMMEDIATELY!"

Some of the grunts stood there for a minute before following the orders of their boss.

After throwing a Pokeball against the wall of the door for what seemed to be the millionth time, the door finally opened.

"Are you two ready to fight them?" Pikachu asked Vaporeon, Sparky, and Togepi, despite the little egg Pokemon being unable to fend for herself. The Bubble Jet and Mouse Pokemon nodded as a lot of Rockets came running into the storage cell. Togepi nodded as well before jumping on Pikachu's head to get a good view of the action.

"Prepare to lose, you little rats!" one of the Rocket grunts sent out his Pokemon, with the others following. And the Pokemon they sent out just had to be the worst one possible for Vaporeon, Togepi, and the two Pikachus.

"Uh oh," Togepi said, grabbing Ash's Pikachu tight.

"BELLSPROUT!" Vaporeon, Sparky, and Pikachu screamed as the Pokemon started to circle around the four.

"Out of all 800 plus Pokemon in the world, why did it have to be one of them that we are all terrible against?"

"What are we going to do?" Togepi asked her "big brother."

"I am not sure, Togepi," Pikachu said to the little egg Pokemon, "None of us can do any kind of damage to this many Bellsprout, and only one of our attacks can deal with them quickly."

"So it looks like I am going to have to use Aurora Beam to try and fend them off," Vaporeon said as she fired a rainbow-colored beam at some of the Bellsprouts, only for them to be blocked by Vine Whips.

Sparky gulped as the Bellsprouts came closer and closer to our heroes. "What are we going to do now?" he asked Ash's Pikachu.

"I have a good idea." the yellow mouse said to the one with spiky hair.

"What might that be?" Togepi asked.

"Panic!" Pikachu shouted before they all started to scream, hoping that someone would hear them and get them out of this situation.

The Rocket grunt who sent out the first Bellsprout said, "That was easy, now we just have to wait for them to succumb to our power!" He then started to howl with laughter, with the rest of the grunts following.

"It has been a wonder to be on an adventure with you, Vaporeon," Pikachu said to the Bubble Jet Pokemon.

"Yeah," she said, "It was a wonder to be on this amazing journey with you as well, Pikachu," They then went into hug each other, with Sparky and Togepi coming in to hug the two as well. If they were going to fail their mission to escape, they might as well do it together. They continued to embrace each other for the worst, when all of a sudden, they heard a familiar voice.

Uh oh! It looks like Pikachu and the others are in trouble! How are they going to get out of this situation? How are they and their trainers going to get out of Team Rocket Headquarters in one piece? How are they going to defeat the evil Team Rocket forever? And, most importantly, who will be the first person to add this story to their favorites list in 2019? Well, the answers to all of these questions are going to be in the next chapter! And I would like to give a huge shout out to Haremuuuu for being the 156th and last person to add this story to your favorites list in 2018! How many favorites will this story have by the end of 2019? 200? 300? 400? Well, only time will tell. Now, I will see you all next time, I hope you have all started 2019 strong, and I hope that you have all dared to Pokeship, everyone! See you next week for another exciting edition of the Longest Road!
