Percy

Artemis was right, as she always is… but that doesn't change the fact that I just lost to my girlfriend in a fight. I was total outclassed, outmatched. Weapons difference or not, a lost is a lost. The monsters aren't going to spare you because you're not using a club like them. I can't protect them. I can't-

"Well protect is a rather broad word to use." Diana corrected my thoughts.

"How long have you been listening to my thoughts?" I looked down at her who's snuggling onto me.

"The part when you say I'm right." Artemis smiled at me broadly. I brought my hand up and ruffled her auburn hair. With the new prophecy coming, I don't know how long such peaceful days would last-

"We can always depend on Perseus Jackson, saviour of the world-"

"Twice. Anyone can save the world, but so far only you've saved it twice." Artemis added. It's rare sight to see Artemis praise me-

"Don't let it get over your head." She read my mind again.

"When are you going to stop reading my-"

"When you agree to become a god." She looked at me deadpan in the eye. That is going to be one topic I can't run away…

"When you two agree to marry me-"

"No no. We're not saying yes until you can differentiate us." Diana said, with Artemis nodding at the sight. I guess these are problems I have to deal with after this whole shit is over. I simply smiled and gave them both a peck on the forehead before turning in for the night.

Linebreak…

I got woken up extremely early as expected. Even Apollo hasn't woken up yet. I was literally eating my breakfast with my eyes closed while Artemis is giving out instructions over breakfast. It seems as though the time for fun is over as I listen to their training routine. Everything was down to the minutes, and now we'll have a weekly tri capture the flag game with the Romans. I don't know if I've fell asleep during midst or Artemis just assume I was sleeping as she shook me violently.

"I'm awake I'm awake." I answered back quickly, my eyes barely opened to see the pair of silver eyes staring at me. Without saying anything, Artemis flashed the both of us away for our training… or maybe just mine.

"Alright Diana is going to stay here with you. I'm going back to the Hunt to supervise their training." With that, Artemis left me with Diana at some vast, open area of nothingness.

"We're training with Athena." Diana answered my question. "It isn't a fair start for you to straight away spar against us. Our fighting style greatly counters yours. Athena uses a long spear much like your trident so you can learn some tips and tricks from the Goddess of war. I must warn you she is on a different league than Ares."

"That's because Ares inspires the people fighting the war. How would you feel if I say the God of war is on your side? Ares is a good fighter, but not that good. Same goes for me, but being the Goddess of Wisdom allows read and analyse the fight and changing my fighting style best fit for each situation." Athena appeared who dressed surprisingly simple for a combat fight.

"You Perseus Jackson have always been an anomaly. The way you fight, your thought process. I always thought you were… simple minded yet I felt a sense of untested genius inside you that showed itself when you're drunk ironically. I want to know more about you and so I agreed to train with you." She continued.

"Hey he's with me go find your own guy." Diana defended me, all the while holding on to me protectively.

"I thought you were always in for multiple-"I shut myself up when Diana gave me the Artemis look. Diana can be jealous… who knew.

"Don't worry I have no interest in pursuing any of romantic interest with him, less to be a laughing stock… especially to Poseidon. Maybe if he wasn't a sea spawn… Enough with the hypothetical talks, draw your weapon." A long spear appeared Athena's hand. "Let's test out your skills first." She got into her fighting stance.

Artemis

Perseus is settled… sort of. I still want him to learn archery but that would be a later point. The whole world doesn't revolve around him. Everyone has their part to play that includes the hunter. They've slackened off too much, we all have. The hunters will start off with a quick run around the perimeter with target board set in the forest. They aren't Perseus. Stationary archery practice is too easy for them. They'll go in pairs and throughout the run the target boards will sprung out at random for a few seconds and they will have to shoot it. There are about ten targets in total. Not only they have to hit all of them, the arrows need to be spilt. I'll go first for a dry run and land an arrow on each target. Subsequently, the pair in run will need to split mine, whoever is shooting first, and the second hunter will leave her arrow there for the next pair.

"The target to hit is fifteen arrows or less. Meaning you girls can only miss 5 times. Failure to do so will mean more practice in the afternoon instead of rest time." I spoke out to the Hunters gathered in front of me.

Percy

"You're slowing down." Athena mentioned as she thrust her spear right at me. So far I would say I'm doing rather well. I managed to hold my own against the goddess of war. I've tried going on the offensive, but Athena meant it when she say she can read the fight in an instant. Right now I chose to opt for the defensive, hoping to find an opening in her attacks and counter but that hasn't been coming very well. Everything was permitted. I could blast a torrent of water from my trident if I want to but that would be just wasting my energy. At this rate it was going to be like my fight with Diana, I'll wear out eventually and get punished for my mistakes.

Here goes nothing. I told myself mentally as I took on the offensive. As usual, it didn't catch Athena by surprising. Rather, I think she was waiting for me to attack back. Either way I didn't have much of a choice. I just kept hitting and hitting, but every attack got parried with ease. I was wearing out. I can't keep this up much long. I mustered up the remaining of my energy and blasted a torrent of water at her, pushing her back. With the last ounce of my energy I hurled my trident right at her, through the torrent of water. I immediately created a mist portal and jumped through it, leading me right on top of Athena who just dodged my trident. Thankfully I still have Riptide in my pocket. I drew it out and swung it at her. I might actually land a blow I thought, but the idea was quickly crushed when a shield appeared on her hand to block my attack, followed by a shove that sent me flying back.

"I need a break." I muttered out breathlessly, using Riptide to help me up.

"Not bad. The last attack was rather good." Athena commended, keeping her shield and weapon. Diana came to help me up, but I settled for laying on the ground.

"You'll do fine out there. I suppoed with your skills monsters shouldn't be a problem. Even against an overwhelming odds you will survive. The only problem is what if it's not a monster, someone of a higher intelligent maybe a demigod? Although most demigods wouldn't stand a chance against you… Let's talk about immortals then. Maybe-"

"In short we'll keep training and improving ourselves right?" I cut her off. Wasn't the smartest idea to cut a Goddess of Wisdom but I was too tired to care.

"It isn't… but yes that's my point. Staying around Artemis and Diana seems to make you smarter huh." Athena commended. We took a break, with Athena teaching me the different ways to wield a long spear or in my case a trident. What I was amazed was how it can be used both handed or single handed with a shield. Holding the trident at different parts can also means different fighting style.

"With your ability to summon torrents of water, you can do many unpredictable moves. For example, the part where you throw your trident through the torrent of water caught me off guard. If haven't for my shield I would have got hit by your sword. Those are ways of how you can use your powers to fighting stronger opponents. Of course, don't overdo it like just now when I threw you back you simply lay on the ground dead. " Athena broke down the fighting just now. It's interesting, but at the same time I'm getting sleepy listening to her go on and on. The thing about Athena is that she's too knowledgable. She went on to saying how this stance was created, by whom and when and why and I want to sleep.

"You were blessed by Hestia. To a certain extent that gives you slight control over fire-"

"I have, but it drains a lot out of me to even keep my sword on fire so I didn't use it much." I answered.

"This means the fire power part wasn't the main gift Hestia wanted to give to you but she can't entirely remove it so it's rather weak…perhaps use it to control the temperature of the water? Let's say you summon a shield of water then freeze. That it you don't have to-"

"Maintain control of the water and fire." I said in realization. Why didn't I thought of that?!

"Because you're not exactly the brightest of your kind and you just cut me off twice!" Athena looks as though she wants to kill me. "Cut me again and I'll put you on a wheelchair back to the Hunt." She threatened. Gods if I've thought of that I could have hid myself in a shield of ice from Artemis's arrow.

"You do know that Artemis doesn't exactly want to shoot you all the time right? And you doing that will just piss her off even more." Diana commended on my thoughts.

"Yeah I know and please stop reading my mind." I glared at Diana.

"Why are the two of you bullying my son?" I heard my dad's voice. Also, who else can be calling me his son? His voice was enough to make Diana stiffened up which was actually kind of funny.

Why so scared now huh? I smirked towards Diana's direction. I'm sure she heard me, just not in the mood to reply me now.

"We aren't. We're helping him master the use of his trident and his new found powers which if I remember correctly was given to him by you." Athena surely wasn't fazed by him and could come up with a rebuttal almost instantly.

"Forgive me if I wasn't so free to be able to idle around, read books and flirt with professors. I actually have a kingdom to take care of." My father replied casually.

"Sure because that totally explains why you're here." Athena countered back, and the bickering started again.

Hey moon beam, why do I feel like their relationship is almost similar to ours. I spoke in my head to Diana, and given how they always-

You mean minus the kissing and fucking? And did you just call me moon beam? She looked at my direction.

No? Not good? I shook my head in question, and she simply sighed at me.

Maybe that's why you fall for Artemis. Both of you likes abusive relationships. Diana laughed, a bit too hard as it gotten the attention of both Athena and Poseidon.

"Something to share niece?" Poseidon snapped us both back to reality.

"N-no nothing uncle-"

"Not dad?" I smirked at Diana's direction, but she seemed too tensed to reply.

"I said before and I'll say it again. I have nothing against you or Artemis. So long my son is happy and alive, you have nothing to worry from me. I'll treat you as my own child." Poseidon assured Diana. Comparing Artemis and Diana, I'm pretty sure Poseidon is more comfortable with Diana since she never landed me in the hospital before.

"Why are you here Hawaii dude? You're interrupting our training-"

"Right, I remember why I came here-"

"Will you sea spawns stop cutting me!" Athena screamed at Poseidon… and the argument continues.

They even have more nicknames than we give each other. Diana commended.

Yeah there're about 5 already. I'm starting to think they're like us, just that the powers are reversed and both are equally prideful.

"Arguing with a Librarian girl will never end. All they do is say you're noisy. I'm here to teach Perseus some moves." That got my interest.

"As much as I hate this owl head over here, I'm sure she, Artemis and Diana will be able to teach you all about close combat fighting. I'm here to show you some moves I've developed myself with the use of our water manipulating abilities. There are many, but mostly will drain you too much. I'll teach you those that is somewhat easier but still powerful enough for you to overwhelm strong opponent. Watch and learn. Athena, draw your weapon." Poseidon summoned his trident and motioned for Athena to draw hers. Diana pulled me back and sat slightly in front of me protectively.

"The air contains moisture, which is how you can use your mist portal without much difficulty because they're easier to control than water, draining you less. With that in mind…" The surrounding started to turn misty. Despite so I could see still clearly. I can see Athena taking a more defensive stance, and Diana holding onto me since she can't see as well. Out of the blue, my dad disappeared.

"Dad?" I asked out. Within seconds he appeared right behind Athena and swung his trident at her. Athena barely managed to counter that attack before he disappeared again. He kept repeating the same move, disappearing and striking again. Athena had no chance to attack. She's lucky to have survived so long.

"I hear you Perseus!" Athena shouted. Shortly after, the mist starts to dispearse. My dad reappeared in front of me and Diana while Athena was still in her defensive stance until the mist fully dispearsed.

"That's one of my favorite techniques. In your case, you can simply open a few mist portal and jump in and out of them to achieve the same effect. There's one more I thought of for you." He turned his attention to Athena and blasted a huge torrent of water at her.

"What the fuck Poseidon?!" Athena raged at him. "You dishonorable dick!" I never knew Athena to be so… vulgar. I wonder if I could ever make Artemis do the same. It'll be fun to watch.

"Percy, try freezing the water on Athena." Poseidon suggested. Athena was charging at us headstrong, or at Poseidon but either way it's not helping. I concentrated real hard. I've never froze something before.

"Anytime now." My dad causally added. I feel that familiar tug in my stomach, only at a stronger magnitude to the point it almost feels like cramp.

"What the-" I felt the tug just snap, and Athena's shocked expression suggested to me it probably succeeded.

"Woah." I opened my eyes and looked at my masterpiece. Athena's whole body was frozen in place. Her spear was thrusted forward with one leg off the ground.

"Release me this instance Perseus or I will use my powers." Athena demanded coldly.

"In a real battle, you should probably freeze the head as well. If not the monster will get too noisy-"

"Who you're calling monster you filth?! Release me now or I'll disintergrate him to dust." I released her immediately. I don't need an Olympian goddess on my bad side. If she decided to curse me for being stupid-

Don't even say it. I scolded Diana in my head as I heard her snickering a little.

"Well, that's about enough tricks and moves for you. I'll leave it to Diana's capable hands to teach you more on close combat. Athena, you're welcome to join in the training. Although you might want to change your clothing first." Poseidon laughed before flashing off. It took me awhile to notice, probably because the color difference isn't that big. Athena flashed off straight after without saying anything, her face utterly red with embarrassment like Artemis's.

"Done looking?" My attention turned back to Diana, who's now glaring at me.

"In my defense, I wouldn't have noticed it if my dad hadn't hint it so strongly." I gave Diana one tight embrace to lighten her mood.

"Don't even think about. Artemis would kick your ass, and so will I-"

"I thought you were the one who said stuff like multiple partners and all?" I pulled her slightly away just to look at her.

"I thought I would… Then I started to feel jealous even towards Artemis-" I cut her off with a kiss. One was to let her know that she's equal in the relationship. Secondly was that I really love kissing them like this. I like to see them startled and yelp a little before reciprocating.

"You get to spend the whole day with me while Artemis doesn't so what are you still jealous about tomato face?" I snickered at the blushing goddess. That's also one of the thing I like about those surprise kisses and hugs.

"Who you're calling tomato face!" Diana broke off and stepped back.

"Draw your weapon! We're continuing the training no holding back." She drew her signature weapons.

"And for the record, I hate tomato." Diana added before charging right at me.

Linebreak…

When Diana meant all out, she really meant all out. She didn't specifically stab me with her blades, but she kept leaving scratches on me on every mistake or opening I made until I gave up and hid myself in a cocoon on ice.

"Come out you tomato!" Diana shouted from the outside as she kept hitting against the ice.

"I'm sorry!" The only reason why I was still alive inside is because she isn't using her godly powers. But even with the hammering, I could feel the ice cracking slowly on the exterior.

"I said come out. If I have to cut through the ice I'll cut something else along with it." I immediately cringed and covered my groin. I broke the ice away and looked at Diana.

"I love you." I smiled sheepishly at her. Diana's weapons were already gone when I saw her which probably means she doesn't want to cut me. She closed in on me, and I watched her wrily as she place her hand on mine, which happens to be on my groin area.

"I'm not going to cut it off. I still haven't have enough fun with it." She smiled at me and flashed us off.

"Let's go take a quick shower and go back to the Hunt." Diana dragged me into the showers.

Artemis

I missed this life. It was definitely better than worrying over Perseus since he's training with Diana and not out there saving the world. I could focus on the Hunt. I was glad to see that the standard of the Hunt didn't falter much since Perseus's arrival. My attention… well has always been on Perseus. I can't believe I gave this up to do laundry with that idiot. Their performance during the test was acceptable. They barely managed enough to pass, so in the afternoon I gave them an off to rest and relax followed by a dinner hunt and a scrumptious meal. Many of them asked about Perseus's whereabouts. While the older hunters were being tactful, the younger ones were straight up blunt.

Flashback…

"Milady where's Percy?" One of the younger hunters asked, as did almost all the other twenty hunters.

"He's training at Olympus why? Does the dinner not suit you?" I asked back. It was quite some time they had roasted boar or any other roasted meat. I need to make this at least a couple of times a week.

"It's nice, but it's just that you're always with him-"

"Wait why am I the one with him and not the other way round?" I looked back at her.

"I don't know. It just feels like you two are always together and you would look sad and angry when he's not around. Did you two break up-"

"Uh what?" I looked at her wide eyed.

"Aren't you two dating?"

Flashback ends…

I guess we have to break the news sooner or later. Everyone has turned in for the night. Tomorrow is a new set of training and they need all the rest they can get. I also went back to my tent. It wasn't that late about 9pm plus but Perseus was around sound asleep, hugging Diana like a bolster. Diana noticed me and signaled me to keep quiet by putting a finger to the lips.

We were talking while waiting for you until he just doze off during the conversation. Diana answered in my head. I changed out to my nightgown and got in as well. As much I enjoy wearing Perseus's oversized shirt I know Perseus likes my nightgown. I hugged Perseus from the back. It feels weird not having his hand around me or his chest to rest on but I don't want to wake him up.

"Psst. Lil sis." I heard the most annoying voice ever calling for me.

"What?" I gave my best soft raging voice.

"There's an emergency meeting at the council." He whispered softly and cut off the message. I looked at Diana, who just smiled sadly at me. She knew I missed Perseus and was looking for to the night time with him. I tilted his head around slightly and smiled a little. He's drooling a little. I gave him a quick peck on the forehead before getting up to change.

"Artemis…" Perseus said blissfully right before I flashed off.

Linebreak…

"Alright now that everyone's here. Hades why did you calling for this meeting so late at night." Zeus asked out once everyone arrived.

"There's a dead monster reforming in the underworld." He said grimly
