Tris looked like a deer caught in headlights, but as she was about to respond to Peter, a knock came.

Christina went and opened the door only to find Sandra on the other side. Sandra was Max's wife.

Sandra went in without being invited and the room was dead silent.

"Well isn't this a nice get together we have here?"

"How can we help you Sandra?" Four, being a diplomat, was the first one to talk.

"Well, I'm here for the Divergent cause of course!" Sandra responded, which again left the room speechless.

Eric was on high alert; how did Sandra know of the cause and why was she looking straight at Tris when she was responding to Four?

"Sandra, what are you talking about?" Four asked.

"Oh, Tobias. Don't act coy with me. You know what I'm talking about! Those late night meetings with the other factions, your contact in Erudite, you and the other stiff being Divergent. That kind of stuff." She responded while playing with her hair. Once the words left her mouth, Eric got up to jump her but was quickly stopped by Four.

"Bitch, listen to me. I will let this man kill you if you don't tell me what you want." Sandra knew Eric from his association with Max. She knew of his temper and witnessed what he's capable of doing.

"I want an alliance. I have information and you need information."

"How do we know you have information?" Peter asked.

"How did I know that you all were here? How did I know that about your secret meetings?"

"How do we know that you're not a spy for Max? Or for Jeanine?"

She takes a piece of paper from her pocket, hands it to Four and says, "If I was working for Max or Jeanine, I wouldn't willingly give you the code to the launch pad that you're looking for. You know the one where you can control the ones under the influence of the serum?"

"Why are you doing this?" Eric asked suspicious of the woman.

"You see I never had a problem with Max having affairs, right Tori?" she said looking straight at Tori, whom did not flinch under her stare. "Our marriage was that of love in the beginning but I quickly realize that it was a mistake and it became one of convenience. Once more, I have no problem with that. He had his dalliances and I had mine. Everyone was happy. However, change is coming and I know what that change is."

"What is it?" Christina asked.

"Max is planning to kill me."

This was also met with silence.

"Tori, the last time you saw George, who was he with?" Sandra inquired.

"Max." Tori answered.

"Guess who led the investigation against George? You got it Max. I'm sure you're asking yourselves what does George's death have to do with my own? I know every facet of my husband's personality. I know when he's cheating, going to shit and, yes, when he's going to kill. The way that he was acting with George in his final days is the same way that he's been acting with me recently."

"We knew already. We were going to warn you but we didn't know if you would tell him that we warned you or not. We would never have let him hurt you. Another thing, Max is not in his right state of mind, Sandra." Eric said.

Sandra moves toward Eric and looks at him straight in his eyes. "I find it admirable that you always come to Max's defense. He's always loved you as a brother. But I find it worrisome that you're defending the man who's going to kill the woman you so-call love."

And that did it. That hit Eric in an inexplicable way. Eric loved Max and everyone knew that. When he transferred to Dauntless, he took him under his wing and molded him to be the warrior that he is today. There isn't a thing that he wouldn't do for the man. He was his best friend and his brother. But Sandra was right, the moment that Max realizes that Tris is Divergent, he'll either kill her or give her up to Jeanine.

Realizing that her words did what they meant to do, Sandra looks at Four, "You've been followed for a couple of days now. And so have you Tris. From my sources, Max doesn't trust Tris."

"Why?" Tris probed.

"I don't know to be honest. Maybe it's due to your close proximity to Four or the change in Eric. I truly don't know. But I know that you've been followed."

"Does Max know about the meetings?" Four asked.

"No, he doesn't. I'm the only one with that information."

"I'm confused though," Peter spoke up, "what's in it for you? Do you want us to kill Max? Why exactly are you helping us?"

"I'm not going to lie, if Max we re dead my life would be so much simpler and easier. However, knowing Eric, he would rather see Max incarcerated than killed. But if it's proven that he was involved in the genocide of Divergents, I'll be granted an annulment."

"You're in love." Eric stated.

"Yes."

"And he's Divergent." Eric made another observation.

"Yes, and I'll do whatever to protect him. Like it or not, we have something in common. I help you and you help me."

"Fine." Tori agreed and no one contradicted her ruling.

"Good. Now that we're in agreement let me start by saying this: watch your backs. Jeanine and Max have spies all over the compound. These spies have spies spying on them, that's how deep this Divergent issue is. Also, you have friends as well. Remember, you're not the only Divergent in Dauntless. I can reach out to them."

"Honestly, we wanted this to remain small because we want the casualties to be minimum and if this explodes we're to blame, not an entire faction." Tris said.

"I understand, but the more number you have, the stronger you are. Also, you don't need to know who's on your side. Just know that your side is bigger than expected."

Eric's pad beeps, signaling that he has a message.

"People, we have a problem."

"What is it, Eric?" Four asked.

"Max wants to do the Abnegation raid tonight."

"What the hell are we going to do?" Christina panicked.

"You do it." Sandra calmly replied. "I know that you already have a weapon. That's why I had my spies replace it with a decoy weapon."

"How did you know we had the weapon already?" Eric asked astonished.

"As I said before, I have spies and information. This decoy will take time to decode and when they finally decode it, they'll realize how useless it is."

"How did you create a decoy?" Peter asked her.

"I have connections in Erudite."

"How on earth did Jeanine not find out?" Tris asked.

"Because not everyone in Erudite is loyal to Jeanine." Both Eric and Tori answered simultaneously.

"Exactly." Sandra concurred. "I have to go. I would like to come to the next meeting. Will you contact me to tell me the date and time?"

"I'll add you to the contact list." Tori responded.

Once Sandra left, everyone was lost in their own thoughts. What a turn of events!

"You think he'd really kill her?" Peter asked.

"Yes." Tori quickly answered. "Remember, Max is ruthless. He will do whatever it takes to get whatever he wants. So, yes, I can see him kill Sandra if she was hindering him from what he wanted."

"We need to get ready for Max." Eric said to the group and Tris and him took their leave.

With two steps they were at their own apartment and changing into their gear.

"What was Peter talking about?" Eric asked Tris.

"I have no damn clue. Peter being a dick." She nonchalantly responded. "You know," she said going to him, "we don't have to go right now." She started rubbing on his dick. "Max didn't give a specific time. He just said today." Now she's kissing his neck.

"He said this afternoon and it's already 12:30. Sandra coming in took our entire morning away. This is stressing me out."

"Let me distress you." She says and pushes him to the couch. Tris unzips his pants and takes his dick out.

"That's what I like about you Warrior, you're always ready." And with that she started sucking his cock. Eric put his head back and just let the sensation take him over.

Truth be told, he was horny since this morning. For some reason, the night before he had a dream about The Club and of course woke up with a boner. He did rub one while taking a shower this morning but it wasn't enough. He's going to need a good fuck but for the moment, they only had time for a nice suck. He's going to eventually have to talk to Tris about the events at The Club. 'Fuck!' he screamed in his mind. He's still thinking about all the women he fucked over there. 'Tris is sucking you so it's okay to think about them. You're not doing anything wrong. Relax.' And that's what he did. He pushed Tris' head further down his shaft and heard her chock. That made him even harder. He then got up, held her head in place and started throat fucking her. That felt so much better and within seconds he came, and zipped his pants.

"Thanks baby. Now we need to go."
