Gray grumbled to himself as he stalked down the hall. He had had enough wandering in the halls. That's what he had been doing day after day looking for the kidnapper. He had no idea where to look for Hunny and Mori. He didn't really care either, but he didn't have a choice.
The more he thought about it, the less he trusted leaving Ella alone with those guys. The only ones who had been acting suspiciously were Hunny and Mori and they were the ones missing.
Maybe they were taking by the kidnapper? Gray thought, partially optimistically.
Back in the club room, as Gray wandered the halls, Ella woke up. She was confused and disoriented. The hosts were bustling about, getting ready for the daily onslaught while Ella was right in the thick of it.
"Huh?" Ella said, sitting up, scratching her head.
"Feeling better?" Haruhi asked as she noticed Ella getting up and stretching.
"Yeah," Ella said, preoccupied as she looked around the room silently doing a head count.
"What are you making that face for?" Kaoru asked.
"I feel like there's less of you guys," Ella said trying to figure out who was missing.
"You're observant," Hikaru stated sarcastically.
"Wait," Ella said ignoring his sarcasm, "so, who's missing?"
"Well, Gray for starters," Hikaru started,
"And Hunny and Mori," Kaoru finished.
"Ohhh," Ella said.
"Wouldn't want to hurt a hair on your head thinking," Hikaru said snarkily.
Why did you leave me behind?! Ella yelled into Gray's head. You should've woken me up! I can't stand being stuck with these freaks!
In the halls, Gray jumped, startled by Ella's sudden rage. He thought, I didn't have much of a choice, hoping Ella would hear.
Ella crossed her arms in a huff of anger. Ella's brief outburst called for a confused glare or two. Ella let out a quiet growl.
She put on a fake smile and said, "How about I go help Gray?"
Her words went ignored as Kyoya told Tamaki, "If you want to open up today, we should go soon."
"If we must!" Tamaki said as dramatically as possible, "Open the doors!"
