Hey, guys! I'm back! Two very important author notes I recommend you guys to read! Other than that, enjoy!

Disclaimer: I don't have an ax through my head so I'm doing something right, right? I don't own Teen Wolf.

"You can holler, you can wail
You can swing, you can flail
You can thump like a broken sail
But I'll never give you up
If I ever give you up my heart will surely fail

And after all God can keep my soul
England have my bones
But don't ever give me up
I could never get back up when the future starts so slow

No longing for the moonlight
No longing for the sun
No longer will I curse the bad I've done
If there's a time when your feelings gone, I wanna feel it..." - Future Starts Slow by The Kills

I sighed, after gulping down a huge spoonful of Rocky Road. Yes, I know, I've become that girl, that post breakup girl. It's quite sad. Hey, at least, I had Lydia and a shit ton of chocolate.

"I still can't believe you and Derek broke up," to be honest, she seemed just as sad as me, which I couldn't understand. She plopped a marshmallow drizzled in chocolate syrup in her mouth as I wondered why she was so depressed.

"Yeah," I breathed, "neither can I."

"But you guys were so cute,"

"I know,"

"I mean, like top-notch adorable,"

"I know," WHY WAS SHE MAKING ME MORE SULKY?

"Like, oh my god, he looked at you like you were some kind of exotic gem,"

"Jesus, Lydia!"

"But, you were so cute!" She whined.

"So, as cute as you and Jackie?"

"Don't overestimate yourself, sweetheart,"

"So close,"

"Stop pouting,"

"I miss him,"

"I miss Jackson,"

"I miss Scott," and both of our heads immediately turned to look at my door. Finally, Allison arrived, and oh yes – with Oreos! God, thank you for this humble offering.

"Nice of you to join my humble bed, Allison," I said, sarcastically. She gave me an apologetic look before sliding in next to me on my bed. Allison was on my left and Lydia was on my right, I just needed something normal – we all did, which is why I called in this little girls day in.

"I'm sorry," she said, guiltily, "there's a ten car pileup and I had to reroute my way here."

"All's forgiven, you're just in time for Beetlejuice!" I smiled, but then frowned, ten car pileup? I hope my brother's okay getting to the hospital with my mama's food. "I guess my mom's staying in late," I sighed, I wanted her here too. It's only been a couple of days since the breakup but I haven't really spoken to my mom about it. I wanted to talk to her but it just seems like the hospital needs her more than I do.

"Anyways, we're all here," Lydia spoke up, "and we're gonna' eat junk food until our thighs looks like the hooves of an elephant." Allison and I laughed at her comparison, although it was pretty accurate, considering the amount of junk food was on my bed at the moment. No seriously: Snickers, Hershey Kisses, Rocky Road, chocolate ice cream, gummy worms, gummy bears, sour gummy worms, chocolate covered gummy bears, chocolate covered strawberries, Oreo's, whipped cream, popcorn, and potato chips – oh my god, we're gonna' get diabetes.

"Abby?" Allison wondered, making Lydia's and my shift our gaze over to her. "Why did you and Derek break up?"

I stared at her and then at Lydia, do I tell them the truth?

I haven't forgiven Allison, per say, but I invited her over because it honestly would've been incomplete without her. It's not like I can forget all the wrong she's done but I can't forget all the right she's done either; she's helped us in so many situations and I'm so grateful. She's not a bad person, definitely not, she's made some…alarming choices, but she's not a bad person. And maybe, just maybe, I can find it in me to forgive her because I love her; I will always see her as my best friend.

Needless to say, she was beyond shocked that I called her over to this shindig.

"To protect me," I whispered, slumping down on my bed. They simultaneously looked at each other and then back at me, raising their eyebrows. "He thinks that if we broke up, the Alpha pack won't have their attention on me."

"Wait, what do you mean their attention?" Lydia asked.

"If Derek doesn't join the pack, they kill me, if he does, I survive,"

"You're the bargaining chip?" Allison questioned, her jaw dropping a bit. I nodded once, before digging in another scoop of Rocky Road and sticking the spoon in my mouth. Allison got her own spoon and dug in, as Lydia sprayed whipped cream inside her Oreo.

"So, we broke up because I was a distraction for him, that he couldn't concentrate with his problems with me in the way,"

"Seems pretty full proof," Lydia nodded, as I stared at her, blankly. "Not that you're a distraction or anything, but think of it this way, Derek's this big guy who's clearly not used to being tied down."

"Lydia," Allison scolded, while Lydia just casually shrugged.

"Why do you still have his necklace?" My strawberry blonde friend asked, with her mouth full.

My eyes widened as I looked at her and Allison, "What necklace?" I picked up the knight chess piece, "This one?"

"Abby, you and I both know which necklace we're talking about. The old, tacky, male chain necklace,"

I gulped, picking up the wax wolf Derek gave me. He didn't ask for it back. And quite possibly, a selfish part of me didn't want to give it back. "I don't know, I just do." I answered, shakily. "I don't think I've ever been this sad before."

"The power of heartbreak," Lydia softly said, nudging my shoulder with her own.

"It's not just heartbreak," I shook my head, "he came during a time in my life when I really needed someone and between all the bickering and sarcastic comments, I fell for him. He makes me a better me and I know I won't get over him and there's literally nothing I could do."

"Maybe you won't need to get over it," Allison remarked. "Maybe at the end of it, it'll all fall into place."

"Was the sex at least good?"

"Lydia!" Allison and I both exclaimed. "And since you brought it up, yes, it was. It was mind blowing."

Allison raised an eyebrow, impressed, "Really?"

"Yeah," I drawled out, thinking about the time in the back of the SUV – to 'break in' the new car. I shook my head, trying not to get all gloomy by having thoughts about him. "Anyways, are you guys sleeping over or leaving?"

"Well," Allison started, "my dad wants me home by eleven, so I can't sleep over."

"You know, if your dad wasn't so hot, I would be pissed."

"You're disgusting," she groaned.

"She's right," Lydia commented and I held out my hand for a high five, which she quickly reciprocated.

"Oh my god," Allison grunted into one of my pillows.

I looked over at Lydia, silently waiting for her answer, and she said, "There's a reason I brought my Prada with me."

My eyebrows reached the roof of my head as I stared at her white bag, "There better not be a miniature dog in there."

"Oh, you're so funny," she said, deadpanned.

I rolled my eyes at her and asked, "So, what's the deal between you and Aiden?"

"There is no deal between Aiden and I,"

Allison and I shot each other a look before turning to the red head, who was eating a chocolate covered strawberry. I grabbed the bag of miniature Snickers, handing them over to Allison but first, taking a couple.

"And you expect us to believe that?" Allison asked, biting into the Snicker.

"Of course,"

"What happened to 'needing a distraction'?"

"A distraction?" I cut in, chewing viciously on the caramel nutty delight.

"Can we please change the subject? Oh my god, nothing's going on between Aiden and I. We can talk about Abby and Aiden."

"What about 'Abby and Aiden'?" Narrowing my eyes at her, suspiciously. "There is no Abby and Aiden and there will never be an Abby and Aiden, Abby and Aiden are as nonexistent as my dick. But Abby and Derek, will be very existent soon."

"Very poetic," Lydia commented, shooting me a side glance.

"Can we talk about his twin?" I grumbled, "And the fact I don't like him near Danny?"

"You can't exactly stop Danny from seeing him," Allison, the voice of reason, said.

"Well…like…he's an Alpha! My Danny's just a wee lad! Wee!"

"Really? Drake and Josh? Really?" The short haired brunette remarked, sneering.

"You know what really worries me?"

"Oh god," Lydia complained.

I ignored her, "Names worry me, like, who looks at an infant and thinks, 'let's name her Gertrude'."

"Abby, your name would've been Devin if your mom didn't step in with: Abigail."

"Don't forget Scott's name would've been Tate," Allison added.

"Ugh, Tate," I growled, really, Devin and Tate – the McCall siblings.

"Your dad had some serious trouble with names." Lydia laughed.

I rolled my eyes at her and wrapped my arms around both of theirs, and plopped down on my bed dragging the two of them. We all laid down on my bed, side by side, staring at my really needed to renovate ceiling.

"Hey, guys," Allison whispered and we waited for her to continue. "How are we gonna' get through all this?"

"Through what?" Lydia asked.

"All of this; the Alpha's, the sacrifices, the Druid, how?"

"We just are," I mumbled back.

"You know, it kinda' sucks being human. I don't like feeling so…fragile." Lydia stated, sighing slightly.

"At least we're hot," I added sheepishly, shrugging one shoulder and making them laugh.

"I don't know, it just doesn't feel right. My biggest problems were how to do my hair and if I got an A on my AP classes, which I probably will," we laughed but it died down once it got serious again, "now I find dead bodies. I mean – come on."

"I know," I said, softly, "I haven't thought of my future in the past few weeks because I don't even know if I'll have one."

"We will. We all will. We're gonna' have to get through all this, aren't we? We have to, right?" Allison asked, all in a worried rush.

"We have to," I repeated. But of course, there was one question on all of our minds: what if we don't? "You know, all of this makes me realize; that we're all still just a bunch of teenagers. How do we even know what we're doing?"

"We're a team," Lydia replied and I could practically see everyone's smiles because we were. We're kids but we're a team.

"Lip gloss?"

"Top drawer," I answered Lydia, slipping on a gray boyfriend cardigan over my simple white sleeveless mini dress with a lace overlay that complimented my black combat boots. "Two more bodies," I sighed, watching Lydia swipe the wand across her bottom lip. "Scott and Isaac are watching over mom,"

"What makes them think that it's going to be her?" Lydia wondered, then smacked her lips together.

"I don't think it's going to be her at all," I muttered, "The Druid would've…taken her already," I stammered. Okay, so I'm not really on board with anything happening to my mama, I hope you caught that, like really, really caught that. I think I'd stop functioning right if something happened to her. Oh my god. Damn you Druid.

"Abby, nothing's gonna' happen to your mom. Or Scott. I mean, how bad can Beacon Hills get?"

"You know, you probably jinxed that now, nice going."

"I will crash your Camaro into a tree,"

I gasped, "You stay away from my lover."

"So, wait, why did Derek let you keep the car?"

"I practically own it and I love it more than he does, trust me." I grinned, thinking about how he almost sold the Camaro for the SUV but I stopped him because I was an amazing girlfriend who cared about which cars he drove around.

"You gonna' visit Danny at the hospital?" My heart literally broke when Scott told me that Danny could've been a sacrifice, jeez, take anyone, okay, just not my Danny.

"Yeah, I was thinking before dinner, wanna' come with?" I replied, still in shock of Danny's condition – apparently, Ethan was there too and he looked quite concerned, which I didn't believe.

"Sure, anyways, come on, let's get out of here, we're gonna' be late." Lydia claimed, straightening her posture and smoothing out the nonexistent wrinkles in her blouse.

I looked over at my my digital clock on my bedside table and said, with a puzzled tone, "We still have a good forty five -"

"We'll get breakfast," she interrupted, then strutted her way out of my room and I heard the heels clack against the wooden stairs, um, okay, if that's not shady – I don't know what is. Well, now I have to get Isaac because well, I'm his ride, unless he wanted to ride on the back of Scott's motorcycle.

I am telling you – they're lovers ok.

Whatever, I'll just ask him.

I barged into the guest room and I yelped, covering my eyes as Isaac grunted and started shuffling around. Okay, so maybe I should've knocked…

"Sorry! I'm so sorry!" I stuttered, feeling my face heat up. Alright, so seeing Isaac pulling down his pajama pants at 7:15 in morning was well…something.

"Jesus Abby, do you not know how to knock?!" He grumbled, as I heard him scrambling to put his pants on.

My jaw dropped and I took my hand away from my eyes, growling, "This is my house! You knock!"

"I do! Knocking is a common courtesy! Oh wait, you're Abby, you have none."

I was about to scream at him but then I realized he was right, so I shrugged. Boo-hoo, I'm not the Queen of England, I'm like Mr. T.

"Let's go," I ordered, "Lydia and I are gonna' get some breakfast, come with -" he pulled off of his shirt and I, once again, averted my eyes, "-us. Alright, would you mind not taking off your clothing while there's a lady -"

"- pfft, lady,"

I gaped, "Wow, rude,"

He pulled his t-shirt through his head and smirked, walking towards me. Isaac stood in front of my still jaw dropped face and asked, smirk still in tact, "We going or…?"

I sighed, "Why are you my BFFL?" I grabbed his wrist and dragged him out of his room and knocked on Scott's bedroom door.

"How come you knock on his door and not mine?" Isaac complained.

"I've learned my lesson,"

"But it doesn't make sense! You're his older sister, you've seen his as-"

"My what?" Scott asked, yanking the door open.

"Art! I've seen your art!" I covered Isaac, quickly.

Scott gave me a confused face, "I don't draw, Abby, you do."

"Right, right," I laughed, uncomfortable, "No, I meant you know, the rainbows you drew when you were younger -

"Abby -" he whined.

"Rainbows?" Isaac wondered.

"Anyways, we were gonna' ask if you wanted to come with us to get some breakfast? You don't have to be in the car with us, you can bring your little bike."

"Motorcycle," he corrected, annoyed. I gave him a wide smile, waiting for his answer, "Alright, alright," he sighed, "let me just put some clothes on." Scott closed the door and Isaac and I leaned against the wall.

"You even let him close the doo-"

"Isaac," I piped, giving him my wide puppy eyes.

"Oh god," he groaned, "you need to stop. That actually hurts my soul."

"Yeah, so do your eyes, you don't see me complaining."

"My eyes hurt your soul?" Isaac smiled, slightly raising an eyebrow.

"Are you kidding me? They're big and blue and I just can't with them, okay,"

He chuckled, "Okay,"

I smirked, saying, "You should laugh more often, it looks good on you."

"Yeah?" he asked, softly.

"Yeah," I replied, with a small smile.

I munched on my bagel as I bid adieu to Scott and Isaac, who had lacrosse practice. They waved back at us, continuing their slight jog while Lydia took a sip of her iced coffee asking, "What's going between you and Isaac?"

"Wow, first me and Aiden and now Isaac and I? Really, Lydia? Really? You're on a roll."

"What?" She asked, exasperated. "You guys were bickering in the car, in the cafe, back in the car – you guys are like an old married couple."

"Derek and I fought more than that,"

"Trust me, I know, but you and Isaac – I don't know, maybe it's the way he looks at you."

"Lydia, you know he's had a crush on me for awhile. Key word: had," I said, with a full mouth of bagel.

"What if that little crush never went away?"

"Oh come," I drawled, "I don't see him like that. At all,"

"Well, what do you see him as?"

"My little brothers best friend,"

"Who's also your best friend," Lydia added, while we walked the steps up to Beacon Hills high school.

"Who's also two years younger,"

"Oh come on," she groaned, "nowadays, the woman is older than the man and you know that's true."

"Lydia," I scolded, "Derek and I broke up two days ago – literally. Let's face it, I'm in love with him, he's not," she gave me a confused look and I winked at her, signaling that the lie starts now, "and I just – he's the one I want. The one I'll always want,"

"You sound like a Nicholas Sparks book."

"Wow," I said, sarcastically, "thanks for the support. Really," I continued my walk to the school but I stopped when I didn't hear any footsteps behind me. I turned around, seeing Lydia, who was standing still and looking at the ground.

I raised an eyebrow, "Um, Lydia…school?" I pointed behind me.

"Abby, I have to tell you something." I scrunched up my eyebrows in confusion and nodded, giving her the signal for her to talk. "A few nights ago, when we were at the motel, during the explosion…I saw something…"

"During the explosion?"

"I don't know, maybe it was just my mind screwing around with me but I saw this…face. It was all mangled and torn apart and it didn't look…human."

"Wait, Lydia," I stopped her, "are you telling me you saw the," I looked around and whispered, "Darach?"

"I'm not sure. I'm still not, and I didn't want to say anything until we were sure…it freaked me out, though, I can tell you that." She sighed and flipped her hair.

"Did you tell anyone else?"

"No, but I will," she promised. Then, she looked at her phone and said, hurriedly, "Love you, gotta' go, bye," then she started to speed walk into the school.

How does she tell me all that and then leave?! I lifted my hands over my head, agitatedly, and called after her, "We still have another twenty minutes!"

And I was ignored.

Well then.

Great morning.

I could feel it's the start of an amazing day. Sigh.

"I mean, seriously, who doesn't want to be a mermaid?"

"The little mermaid?" Isaac retaliated.

"Okay, that's it, you're not my friend anymore."

"Abby -"

"Don't you think it's a coincidence that morning and mourning sound the same?" I wondered, placing my elbow on the desk Isaac and I shared and placed my cheek on my palm.

"Jesus, when's our sub coming in?"

"Who cares?" I grumbled, "If we stay here for five more minutes, we can leave because like, fifteen minute rule." Ugh. Did Harris really have to go missing as a…sacrifice? Really? I feel for you, Harris. I do. I kinda' miss you though.

"Doesn't matter to me, I'm gonna ditch in a few anyways,"

"What? Why?" I wondered, turning to stare at him.

"Because I have a migraine,"

My hand immediately went to go feel his forehead, his cheek, and his neck. He felt fine, and it doesn't look like he'd gotten a migraine. I raised an eyebrow, feeling his neck once more – nothing.

"Abby, I'm fine," he said, reassuringly.

"Then why -"

"Boyd and I are just gonna' help Derek with something." Oh. Derek. Man, Derek, I'm so sad, oh my god. He saw me flinch when he said Derek's name and he gave me an apologetic look, placing a hand over mine, squeezing slightly

What? Is Derek okay? Ennis is dead, wouldn't that mean that no-shoe Nancy is gonna' hurt him? Oh, my god. My head's spinning. Why are you going to help him? Instead, I asked, shakily, "W-what about Boyd? Is he okay?"

"Explosive diarrhea,"

"Oh Jesus, does he need Pepto Bismol?" I asked, legitimately concerned.

Isaac grinned, "He's fine, Abby, we both are."

Heels brought me back to Chemistry class and I looked up to see – really? You have got to be kidding me. Ms. Blake. Of course, my whole day got a lot shittier.

"Good morning," she greeted. How about no? "As you all know, Mr. Harris is still missing – I-I mean sick," nailed it, "anyways, uh, I'm filling in while we all hope and pray for a more qualified substitute to take my place." Same girl, same. "Okay, so, let's get started shall we?"

Why must she be so pretty? And tall? And smart? Ugh. Why am I comparing myself to her? Seriously. Abby, stop – but she's such a better candidate for Derek, ABBY! STOP! Sigh.

After a few seconds, Isaac went rigid and his hold on my hand tightened, and I asked, worriedly, "What? What is it?"

"Scott and Stiles, they're uh, they're talking about the next murder."

"Oh, so, casual discussion about murder then?"

He scoffed, "You got it,"

Then he froze again, clutching my hand with more force, "What now? Isaac, stop it, you're worrying me!"

"It's Deaton, Deaton's going to be taken -"

"What?!" I whisper yelled, "Are you sure?"

"Yeah, he just called Scott!"

"Maybe he said 'I need to rake',"

He gaped, "Abby?!"

I pouted, "Looks like we need Liam Neeson,"

Hope you guys liked it! I know not much happens in this chapter but it really goes in deep with the relationships Abby shares away form Scott and Stiles. It focuses on Isaac, Lydia, and even Allison, at least it's funny. I was laughing when I wrote it - I know, I'm pathetic.

Alright, A/N 1: Sorry guys, once again, don't blame me, blame the company people who like was in charge of my internet? Yeah, them. They said that they'd try to get here on the date they were supposed to be here but the schedule got mixed up and they ended up going somewhere else and not to us and we had to wait another few weeks until they came to us and they came JUST yesterday, so yes, I am behind on a few chapters. But I have this and the next three or four chapter written out, so yes!

A/N 2: Um, I AM going to start the new Teen Wolf story soon but just not yet because I have classes now and it's just gonna' get hectic but keep on voting guys!

Love you! Review!
