Nora was delighted to be around live humans again. She hung from the ceiling in the deluxe relaxation chamber as the humans napped on the two queen-sized beds and took turns using the shower. She wasn't sure why the room had a shower in the small bathroom since the humans who normally stayed in these rooms were unconscious for most of the time. The male android kept staring at her with a grin on his face. She wasn't sure he kept looking at her with such admiration. Whenever they made eye-contact, she looked away awkwardly. After ten minutes of this, he finally decided to just get up and approach her.

"Hey," he said. "How's it going?"

"Good," Nora said quietly. "Um, your name is Toby, right?"

"Yup," he said. "You know, you have a very lovely eye."

Nora's pupil shrank in surprise with his forwardness and she looked away shyly. "Th-Thank you," she said.

"Nora, come here," Amelia called from a chair by the shallow closet. Nora hurried to her on the management rail. "I'm going to call Doug on a long-distance communicator. Do you want to listen?"

"I suppose I should get some proof that you really are friends with him," Nora said. "I used to have a friend that told me that I'm too trusting."

"Is that so?" Amelia asked, trying not to grin too much. "What was his name?"

"His name was Wheatley," Nora said. Amelia regretted asking now because the poor little bot sounded so sad. "He got sucked out into space."

"Oh," Amelia said. "I'm really sorry. Well, I assure you that Doug is alright. Do you want to hear his voice as proof?"

Nora nodded. Amelia took her communicator out of her bag and pushed a button that alerted Doug that he was trying to be contacted. It took about ten seconds for Doug to answer.

"Amelia?"

"How are you doing?" Amelia asked.

"I'm okay, but I'm getting impatient," Doug said. "I miss you. Can't you just come back today?"

"No, but I can soon," Amelia said. "We got what we were looking for so we're going to start looking for our way out first thing in the morning."

"Finally!" Amelia could practically hear him smiling. "GLaDOS doesn't know you're there yet, does she?"

"Um….Well, these two weird robots saw us," Amelia said. "They probably told her about us."

"Crap," Doug said. "You better be extra careful now. I'm guessing you haven't come across Nora, have you?"

Amelia looked up at Nora who was giggling a little. It made Amelia feel great to make someone so happy.

"No, sorry," Amelia said to Doug. "I haven't seen her. I'm really sorry, Doug."

Doug paused on the other side. Then he said, "It's okay. Just get home safely."

"I will. I gotta go now. I'll see you soon."

"Okay. Um….I love you."

Amelia blushed. "I-I love you, too," she said. "Bye."

"Bye."

"What was that about?" Nora asked as Amelia put the communicator back in her bag. "I mean, that last part."

"Oh, um, Doug and I are kind of a couple," Amelia said awkwardly.

"That's great!" Nora said. "I'm really happy for Doug. He deserves someone special."

"Amelia?" Nate asked. He was sitting on the side of one of the beds and he leaned toward them. "Do you think we could get going tonight? I was all for staying here thirty minutes ago, but that was when we didn't know if we'd be finding the young lady above you anytime soon." He looked up and winked at Nora.

"Well, I suppose we could head out soon," Amelia said.

Once everyone was done in the bathroom, she told them all that they would be heading out soon. Nobody objected. In fact, the dread that had clutched the group so tightly before seemed to have dissolved now. They were all stoked to finally be going home.

"What? An android?" GLaDOS asked the bots. "Are you certain that they called him an android?"

P-Body nodded.

"An android that behaves like a human. That's…..fascinating. I do miss the way humans would react to my tests. If I had a human that I could just fix whenever he died, I would have the perfect test subject."

Atlas protested. He asked if he and his companion weren't good enough for her.

"Since when do you two feel jealousy?" GLaDOS asked rhetorically. "Just go and get me that android. I don't care about the humans anymore. Kill them if you must, but I want that android in one piece. At least until I get my hands on him."
