Hello, my lovely readers. It's time for double eviction night! On with the show…

Chapter 52: Someone's Gotta Go!

Looking around the living room, Matt Donavon could not believe that he was still in the Big Brother house. He had seen most of his friends thrown out. All he had left were Caroline and Liz and he was not sure how much longer Caroline could or would keep him safe. He figured she wouldn't put him on the block if the veto was used. But this was double eviction, and anything could happen…

"Hello, houseguests," Katherine called to the house. "Now that Kol has been beaten to a pulp by your truly, it is time for you to get all of your asses out to the backyard, where one of you sorry excuses will win the veto. Yawn. And then you can kill, I mean kick someone out. Yay! Then I get to interview them, yawn! Make it someone that doesn't make me want to puke!"

The houseguests trudged out to the backyard. The only one of them that did not seem worried was Silas. Silas not being worried, worried Matt. Or maybe that was what Silas wanted all of them to do. Maybe he was trying to psych them out. Well, he wasn't going to get into Matt's head. No, Matt was going to win this game and ensure that Silas went to the jury house.

"Good luck with that," Silas said and Matt jumped before rounding on Silas who was right behind him. "You know that I can make you lose this game, right? All I have to do is get in here," Silas pointed at Matt's chest.

"Huh? I thought you read minds?" Matt felt so confused.

"Yes, yes, I do. But I also know how you feel, even if you don't. And if you hurt me, I hurt her," Silas threatened with a grin.

"Her?" Matt was still confused when Katherine began to talk again.

"This lame competition is going to be about football. Ugh! I guess the Salvatores have this one," Katherine could be heard yawning and Matt shook his head. Why is it that everyone always seemed to think he couldn't do anything? Even Caroline hadn't even included him in the new plan on how to take out Silas.

Shaking his head, Matt stood with his arms folded over his chest while Katherine continued to tell them about the game. "Okay, so here's the only cool part of this competition: you have to throw your footballs and hit one of the former player's picture, in the face. Isn't that hilarious? Back to the boring part: under each picture, there is a number. You won't know what the number is until you finish the competition. So choose who you hit wisely because it might make the difference between your life and your death."

"In the house she means," Elijah interrupted.

"Who's hosting this show? You or me?" Katherine shouted at her boyfriend. "Just go play your stupid game," she ordered the group.

Damon was the first up to toss his football. He had a choice that included hitting: Sage, Katherine, Jeremy, Elena, Elijah. For once Damon was hesitating. Matt could see the concentration on his face while he tried to figure out who could be hiding the most amount of points behind their smiling faces. After a long time he threw the ball and hit Sage in the face.

Caroline was the next one to throw the ball. Her list included Tyler, Bonnie, Kol, Elijah and Katherine. She took a longer time than Damon had, listing off the reasons why she should hit any of them. "Well, Tyler is my ex. And he did mean a lot to me. Bonnie is my best friend. Kol's my brother-in-law. So is Elijah… This is really hard. Ugh. Everyone hates Katherine and that would make her the easiest target and I don't think this game is supposed to be easy."

"Just throw the damned ball, Blondie!" Damon shouted, rolling his eyes. Klaus nodded and Caroline threw the ball at Tyler which made Klaus frown.

Getting to his feet the immortal Hybrid had a choice of Katherine, Elena, Jeremy, Tyler and Kol. He did not hesitate before hitting Kol with the ball. "That is because he would be the least obvious and the one I find the most annoying."

"Hey!" Kol shouted from the speakers, making Klaus smile.

"Get back in your room!" Katherine shouted.

Stefan stepped up to take his ball. His choices were Lexi, Elena, Katherine, Jeremy, and Finn. "If this is a game of who doesn't really belong, then I would guess Finn. Because I don't really have a connection with him," he said before tossing his ball.

"Other than killing him," Sage spat out through the speakers.

"No, that was Matt," Damon answered and Matt could only glare back. What he really needed was to be in the jury house with Sage who would try to kill him, given a chance to.

Matt was the next to throw his ball. He had a choice of Tyler, Elena, Bonnie, Katherine, and Finn. He had no idea who to choose. "I guess I'm going with Elena because she broke my heart and she's the only girl I ever loved," Matt said with a shake of his head.

"Thanks, Matt," Caroline muttered with a shake of her head.

"He doesn't know how he feels," Silas reassured Caroline before walking over to grab his ball for his own turn. He had a choice of Katherine, Elena, Jeremy, Kol and Bonnie. "Let me see, two fake Amaras, one idiot hunter, one Original who has the sense to fear me and the girl who just could not stop me. Isn't this a real conundrum? I'm going to guess, Bonnie!" he threw his ball and hit the target.

Liz was the last to have to hit a target and she didn't look too good with seasonal allergies coming on. Sneezing, she looked up at her targets. "Ugh. Who are these people?" she asked. Caroline got up and pointed out each for her mom. "Katherine, Elena, Tyler, Jeremy and Bonnie," she stated.

Liz shook her head. "I would say Jeremy because that kid used to eat everything in our refrigerator but I have no idea. I give up. Someone get me a tissue, please?"

Alaric was the last to hit a former contestant. His targets were Elena, Jeremy, Tyler, Jenna and Katherine. He hit Katherine because she was his least favorite of the five and he figured he wasn't going to get it right anyway so might as well have some fun at their new host's expense.

"Okay. Now that we managed to not die from boredom, it's time to announce the winner," Katherine said in a bored tone. "Damon, you suck!" she uttered.

"But who won?" Caroline shouted.

"Damon, the idiot. I don't know how the hell that happened. There must be something wrong here. Anyway, Idiot. I mean Damon, time to pick who is coming off the block. Like now would be good," Katherine snapped.

"Fine. Rebekah, you're coming down," Damon declared and Caroline gaped at him.

"Why would you do that?" Caroline yelled at Damon with a furious look.

"Because," Damon snapped back with his own look of fury.

"Fine. Ummm. Stefan, you're the replacement nominee," Caroline uttered with a look of defeat.

"What the hell? I was stuck in a freezer? I thought we were friends, Caroline!" Stefan protested, loudly while everyone grew quiet.

"Well, someone has to go. And I had to choose someone and I can't choose Klaus or my mom," Caroline spat out, glaring at Stefan with her hands on her hips.

"So? You could have put Alaric up. Or Matt. Matt never does anything around here. No offense, Matt," Stefan added, looking at Matt who was avoiding looking at any of them.

"It's done," Klaus yelled at them. "Now, let's go back inside," he ordered the group.

"Yes, and send one of your boring asses to jury. Why?" Katherine moaned in the background.

Klaus was the first one to vote. "I vote to send Silas home. Is anyone shocked?"

"I vote to send Silas packing," Liz stated before sneezing.

Rebekah came in and glared at the video camera. "I want Silas out of here. Right bloody now!"

Alaric looked tired. "Everyone wants Silas out but I'm voting against Stefan because Silas is a bigger target."

"Silas," Damon said without preamble.

Matt was the last to step into the room. "I don't know. I know that I should say Silas but my heart tells me to send Stefan. And I don't know why," he looked confused before getting up and returning to the living room. Sitting across from Rebekah, he watched her tuck a curl behind her ear with a look of fury. She looked really pretty today.

Where in the hell did that thought come from, Matt wondered before making eye contact with Silas who smiled back at him. Okay, that was freaky. He forced himself to concentrate on Katherine's words. "By a vote of four to two, Silas you are coming to join us in jury. What was that, the sound of Kol trying to dig a hole out of the house. Hold on, I'll help."

"Silas, you have a few moments while you say your good-byes," Elijah intoned, not sounding any more happy than Katherine had been about the news of his new housemate.

"Good-bye. I'll be seeing you all again, soon," Silas told them and the houseguests looked at each other before hurrying to close the door to the house behind Silas who could be heard laughing.

Moments later Elijah was speaking again. "Everyone, attention, please. Thank you. Now it is time for your next competition. Caroline, as out-going HoH, you will not be competing in this round."

Caroline nodded before going to sit down on a bench. Everyone else was left to try to figure out what they would be doing this time. "Today, you will be playing a game where you will have to use your wits. Sorry, Damon," Elijah said and Damon smirked at the insult. "Each of you will have to climb inside the giant bowl of pudding. Once inside, your task is to find a key that will unlock a box. The boxes are located throughout the houses. Inside each box is an envelope and inside each envelope is either a prize, a punishment or a card that says 'HoH.' Are you all ready to get dirty?"

"I am," Katherine shouted.

"Seriously!" Caroline muttered under her breath.

Everyone climbed up the stairs and jumped into the giant bowl of pudding except for Liz who sat beside her with a look of misery. "Here," Damon said, handing the woman a key so she wouldn't have to look.

"Thank you, Damon," Liz said before getting to her feet and walking as quickly as she could toward the house. What no one saw once she entered the house was how Liz suddenly sprinted for the HoH room and tried the lock. It didn't work so she began to run around the house until Klaus arrived and she let out a loud cough.

"Are you okay?" Klaus asked his mother-in-law.

Rebekah rolled her eyes at her brother before sprinting off to find a box. Any box. She found one in the Pink room under her old bed. "Ha," she cheered before running back outside.

Damon was the next one to enter the house. He looked in the kitchen, finding a box behind his beloved bourbon. "Thank you," he cried and ran out.

Klaus found a box beneath one of the couches but his key didn't work, Liz' did. "Thank you," she said hoarsely before shambling out the door.

Feeling irritated, Klaus had to watch as bloody Matt Donovan found a box under the stairs. The former football player ran off, leaving Klaus to continue his search. He finally went up to the HoH room and found a box under his wife's underwear. "Oh, that is really funny," he snarled before leaving the house.

This left Stefan and Alaric. Stefan went searching everywhere before he finally gave up and returned to the dreaded storage area. Opening the freezer, he found a box. "That is not funny," he groaned when he pulled it open to find his envelope.

Alaric was the last to find a box, inside the fridge, behind the Orange Juice. He ran outside, feeling sure that he had failed when he offered the envelope to Caroline who was waiting for it. "Okay. That's the last of them," she cried with a fake smile. "Let's see what Rebekah won. Oh, a vacation to Spain for two. Hey, Stefan, looks like we know what you'll be doing after we get out of here," she teased.

"That is my sister," Klaus growled under his breath.

Damon was next. "Damon, you get a night out of the house, but where you go is a mystery," Caroline told Damon with a grin.

Liz was next. "Mom, you have won the Veto for this week," Caroline announced with a look of shock. "That's cool."

"Matt, you have won the Toady costume. For the rest of the week, unless, you are evicted, you must wear the Toady costume, all day and all night long," Caroline giggled at that one.

"Honey, you won one thousand laps around the backyard," Caroline gave Klaus a sympathetic look while he grumbled under his breath about the fools who came up with this game.

"Stefan, you won 10,000 dollars for the week," Caroline cheered and Stefan looked pleased.

"Alaric, you won the HoH, now. Who would you like to place on the block?" Caroline asked Alaric in a serious tone. She hoped that he didn't put her up.

Alaric looked around at everyone before coming to a decision. "Rebekah and Stefan, you're up," he announced.

"Not again," Rebekah snarled, her face contorting with her anger.

"Well, mom, you have the power to veto one of Ric's noms, would you like to take either Rebekah or Stefan off the block?" Caroline asked Liz who sniffled.

"I'm going to use the power of veto on Rebekah's nomination. Sorry, Ric, you're going to have to figure something else out," Liz announced and Alaric looked around the group again.

"This is not easy. Okay, let's see, Matt, sorry, man, everyone has to go at some point," Alaric told Matt who should have seen this coming.

"Right," Matt muttered, feeling hurt.

"Time to vote, people," Katherine yelled at them, appearing on the TV screen with her fellow jury members sitting in the background, stuffing their faces with popcorn.

"Oh, my God. Bonnie," Caroline shrieked, jumping up and down. "I miss you so much!"

"I miss you, too, Care," Bonnie called back.

"Vote. Now!" Katherine shouted, waving at them to move.

Klaus was the first one to enter the diary room. "I'm voting for my good friend, Stefan. Why? Because if it comes down to a choice between me and him, who do you think that the jury would vote for?"

Liz followed her son-in-law. "I'm voting to send Stefan to jury. He's too well liked. And he'll get the sympathy vote after what Silas did to him. I feel bad for him and it's clouding my judgment. I'm sorry, Stefan, I'm here to win."

Rebekah followed Liz. "I'm voting for Matt. I like him. He's a sweet boy and he's cute… Yes, where was I? Oh, yes. I'm voting against Matt… because. Dear God, Stefan looks so much like Silas. What if he still is Silas? Oh, God. I can't do this. I can't keep wondering who I'm in bed with. Oh, I'm so sorry. My final vote is Stefan. I'm sorry. You won that money and we'll go to Spain. As long as you're not really Silas. Oh, I wish I had never decided to be a part of this stupid game!"

Damon followed a sobbing Rebekah. "What the hell was that about?" he wondered aloud. "Okay. This is a no-brainer. I'm voting for Matt to go home. Duh!"

"I vote for Stefan to go to jury," Caroline said. "Look, he's my friend, but this is a competition. And my mom and I were in the bathroom earlier, talking game, and she's going to get us to the end. I never knew she could be this cutthroat but it's really great to be able to bond over our competitive natures. Somehow I always thought I got that from dad." Shrugging, Caroline got up and left the room.

Katherine was grinning when she came back on the screen, "By a vote of four to one, sorry, Stefan, your pretty ass is coming to spend the rest of the time with me, with us," she looked at Elijah who was glaring back at her.

Stefan got to his feet. "Well, it has been fun. I think. I'm going to miss you guys a lot. But I will not miss the storage room," he told the group before hugging each of them. "Try not to kill anyone, Damon," he said to his older brother whose fangs were already on display.

"I hate this house," Damon growled, walking his brother to the front door. "See you on the outside, brother."

"See ya," Stefan replied before walking out of the house. There was no audience waiting for him. Just a driver and Silas.

"Ready to go raise some hell with our friends in the jury house?" Silas asked, slinging an arm around Stefan's shoulders.

"Not really," Stefan replied, shrugging Silas off.

"Well, we could just go back in," Silas added but Stefan was already walking away. That was no fun for Silas. "Would you like to hear about the things that Rebekah and I were up to when you were gone?" he called after Stefan who was running away. "You know I can just get in your head and show you."

"Stay away from me!" Stefan screamed back.

"I love this season," Silas said, shouldering his bag and whistling a merry tune.

"Next time on Big Brother. There is another shakeup in the house as the reign of a new HoH begins. Damon seeks revenge on Alaric and the rest of the house; will it cost him? Damon goes on a trip out of the house. A new romance begins. And Klaus and Caroline talk about life after Big Brother. All that and a look at how the jury is surviving with the arrival of the last two contestants to be evicted. Catch us next Thursday," Katherine announced as the doorbell rang. "They're here!" she called to everyone who were in a hole in the middle of the living room, trying to get out of the house. They were too late.

Okay, now is the time to tell me who you want to see as the next HoH and who should stay this week.

Thank you for reading, favoriting, following and reading.

Peace,

Jessica
