Okay, so here we go with the 54 chapter and all right apologies again. I have been dealing with my university who are being assholes. I didn't do well in a class and so they put me on suspension. Even though when I got back they still let me take my classes to push my GPA up. Filed an appeals and they still have yet to come back to me on it…for a month!
Assholes, so I had to deal with this problem over my head and work too. Sorry guys so much for wasting so much time, but here I am with the new chapter. I hope everyone is ready for it. I got a lot for you all today and it is going to be fun.
Now, last time we found out Amanda has a Mewtwo. A female Mewtwo. Who is she? And is she the same one from one of the many Pokémon movies they did?
Check out the chapter to find out and thanks guys for the reviews for the last chapter. Also, again bringing this up I decided to end point of views in this story. Mostly because I struggled with the POVs for this story and how they cause me to get stuck on the chapters. I believe this might be the only story I have with a POV.
So, if it looks weird I am not adding anymore POV then you know why. Now, for the disclaimer. I don't own anything from Pokémon just my OCs and thanks to those who send their OCs too. Also for those that don't know: theItalicor at times a flashback, will represent the Pokémon talking and Bold is for thoughts.
Now let's begin with the chapter, enjoy.
Legendary Meeting
Flashback (One year ago)
A young girl is seen traveling the Unova region up some mountains where she was looking for a way to train her Pokémon better. The good news is she heard the mountains have powerful Pokémon to train with to help her team. The bad news is they live deep in the snowy mountains where it is very dangerous. Well, that didn't stop her from going though as she made her way through the mountains.
She has one goal in her mind. To form a powerful team so she can go on to win the leagues of all the regions and defeat their champions. So she can finally surpass her brother, the Pokémon Master. A difficult task since she has yet to win one league tournament and hasn't been able to beat a certain cocky-ass trainer who has been a thorn in her side.
She made her way to the mountains where she spotted some Pokémon.
Until she got caught in a thunderstorm and ran for cover. She found seclusion in a cave where she saw some Pokémon hiding inside. She showed she was no threat to them and lets her team out to stretch their legs. As she rests in the storm he took out her watch to see how long the storm will last.
"Looks like I'll be here for a few hours," said the young girl to herself as she looks out the storm. "Should have listened to those old geezers when I had the chance."
She hears what sounds like a lot of water coming from deep within the cave. "I hope this place won't get flooded," she turns to the wild Pokémon who were looking deep into the cave looking curious. "I wonder if they are thinking the same thing."
She gets up and goes to check it out. She stopped when she noticed a hole in the ceiling of the cave. Water is getting in and it appears there is a large body of water with a waterfall. However, what caught her eyes is what appears to be a Pokémon in the water. And it looks injured.
"Shit, that isn't good," she said as she turns to her team. "Serperior, lower me down with your vines."
Her Pokémon, Serperior did as she was told and uses her vines to wrap around the waist of her trainer. Allowing her to climb down to the Pokémon where she gets a better look. The Pokémon didn't look like any she has ever seen before, but did appear unconscious. She needed to get it out of the water and the rain since the water from it was hitting its face.
Luckily for her she got her bag and most of her clothes off before going into the water. Wearing only her biker shorts and top to get in the cold water. She fought through the cold though and approached the Pokémon. She begins checking on it when she noticed its eyes opening.
As if it was glaring at her, but Amanda wasn't bothered by the look. "H-hey. You are hurt. I'm here to get you…"
Suddenly the Pokémon's eyes begin to glow brightly and soon a blue aura surrounded Amanda. She felt herself being lifted and then thrown into the wall. Amanda's team saw this and appeared concerned. Infernape was prepared to attack, but Amanda moved her hand up.
"Don't!" she shouted stopping her team from getting involved. "I'm all right, really."
She reassured them as she turns towards the Pokémon who kept it's or rather eyes on her after hearing a more feminine groan from her. It or rather she appears to be in pain. Amanda looks over to see a nearby entrance to the water.
"Find another way down here, okay?" she ordered her team as they seemed hesitate to leave their friend. "I'll be fine…" she then turns to the Pokémon who returns to glaring at her. "I'm not going anywhere anytime soon."
*Hours later*
Despite what happened earlier the strange Pokémon could not force the human to leave. She stayed near the water after changing her clothes. She took out some food for her to try eating to see if that will help open her up. So far it didn't work.
So, she made a campfire and has her Pokémon rest up near her. As she rests she would take a quick glance over at the strange Pokémon. In turn the Pokémon would stare at her, but then looks away.
She had given up trying to get rid of the human. During the hours she had been here she had tried to speak to her and even approach her. Each time she would end her away. Using her powers to send her flying or even threaten her.
Luckily the human's Pokémon would be there to protect her from harm. Even wanted to fight the injured Pokémon, but the human always told them no. To not harm her and leave her be. That she will talk to them when she is ready.
It confused her why this human refuses to leave despite all that she did. Is she waiting for her to lower her guard to capture her? It wouldn't surprise her. The last human send his Pokémon to attack her and injured her while she tried to escape.
She didn't trust this human or what she is up to. She knew if she let her guard down she will try to capture her.
"You are a psychic Pokémon, aren't you?" the young girl asked as she spoke to the Pokémon. "Your eyes glowed when you lifted me up. So, what are you?"
The Pokémon looks over to the girl and didn't respond. Not because she didn't want to, but honestly yeah she didn't want to talk to this human. No, it was about what she asked her. What is she?
She looks up at the ceiling as the rain had stopped. It was nighttime and cloudy preventing her from looking at the night sky. She closed her eyes as she keeps thinking of what she asked her. What is she?
She knew she was a clone of a Mew. So, was she a lab experiment? No, she didn't think of herself as one despite what the humans thought. Was she a weapon?
Again, no. She didn't want to be a weapon despite what the humans tried to force her to become. So, what was she? Was she even a real Pokémon? She knows she is a clone of one, but was she even a real one?
All this left her confused as she closed her eyes. Thinking back of all the horrible things she was put through. The experiments, the testing, the needles, the pain, and the suffering she went through. She didn't want to ever go through that again. And she didn't want to be capture by any human like the one before her.
She turns over to her angrily until she felt a cold drop hitting her face. She looks up and realized it was going to rain again. She decided to ignore the human and not think about it. However, that didn't stop the human from doing something she didn't expect her to do.
"Sneasel, use Ice Beam to block that hole," said the girl as one of the Pokémon with her got up and fired an ice blast at the hole.
This surprised the Pokémon who didn't expect this at all. Did this human block the hole to prevent her from escaping? No, if she did he would have blocked the exits around the cave. Something she knows she didn't have time to do since she read her thoughts before her Pokémon joined her.
"I didn't want you to get sick from getting more wet," said the trainer as she explained why she did what she did. "I know you don't trust me. I can't blame you if you got those injuries from a trainer or other trainers. But I promise you I am not going to hurt you. I just want to help you."
The Pokémon used her powers to read thus human's mind. She could tell she wasn't lying to her. She was being truthful in her intentions. She was surprised to find that as she went deeper into her mind she couldn't find any of the negative things she read from the scientist who experimented on her.
This human only has pure or rather somewhat pure thoughts. How she wants to be the best like her big brother, how she treats her Pokémon like they are her friends, and how she risked her life for them. This human, she isn't like the other ones she met. Could she actually have found…a kind human?
The girl smiles at the Pokémon before putting on the ledge of the ground a bag. "Inside there are some fruit and medicine you can use to heal your injuries. You can wait to use them if you want till I'm gone tomorrow. But I'll be back an hour later. Just to see if you took the medicine or not."
The Pokémon again sensed no ill intentions from this human. She even used her powers to open the bag and see what is inside. Truth to her word there are five fruits and a medicine spray. She read the human's mind on how to use it before putting the items back in the bag.
The girl lets out a small yawn before grabbing her blanket. "Well, I'm going to get some sleep. If you wish to join us by the fire you are more than welcome to."
The girl goes to get ready to sleep next to her Pokémon as they all fell asleep. As she was about to doze off she heard the Pokémon speak to her.
Human…She began to speak through telepathy before she continued. What is your name?
The human turns towards the Pokémon happy that she began speaking to her. "Amanda…my name is Amanda. And what is yours?"
My name? The Pokémon just realized she didn't really have a name. She was just seen as an experiment. A lab rat. A name, what would it be?
"Well, if you don't have one, I can give you one. And don't worry it won't be a bad one. I'm good at giving names," she tries to think of a good name before one popped into her mind. "Reiko, how does that sound?"
She was about to tell the human no about giving her a name since it would feel like she is a slave for being given one. However, she didn't have much luck coming up with one for herself so she decided to hear what she has in mind.
Once she was given the name though she thought about it and then looks up. The rain has stopped and she could see the moon coming through. Its moonlight bouncing off the ice, which caused her to smile. In fact this might be the first smile has ever made and it felt nice.
Reiko…I like it…thank you, Amanda.
End of flashback
The crowd cheered loudly as they watch in awe at what is going on. First, they see Ryan using his Sylveon, Gardevoir, and an Entei. One of the legendary beasts that they didn't think was possible to catch. However, their shock grew even more when they saw Amanda throw out her three Pokémon. One is an Electivire the second a Garchomp, and the third a strange looking Pokémon that no one recognized.
It was a gray skinned with a long purple tail bipedal, humanoid creature. On top of its head are two short, blunt horns and it has purple eyes. A tube extends from the back of its skull to the top of its spine. It has a defined chest and shoulders, which resemble a breastplate.
With three digit fingers on each hand and foot have spherical tips. Its tail is thick at the base, but thins before ending in a small bulb.
The crowd though were more confused and fascinated by this new Pokémon. Some of the trainers in the crowd tried to use their Pokédex to find out what this Pokémon. But, they couldn't get any information about it. Some even wondered if this was a new Pokémon from a new region nor a legendary one they have never seen before.
Ryan and Rachel though recognize the Pokémon. At least, they met one similar to this one. It was when they went to the Kanto region. They arrived to Cinnabar Island to face off against the gym leader to get their seventh badge.
They went to the lab to get some information on a way to get to the gym. However, they found something else. They found a secret lab that had information about a Pokémon that was created on a secret lab on a lone island. A Pokémon that was cloned from Mew.
A legendary Pokémon that was said to be one of the rarest and most powerful. Once they got their badge Ryan and Rachel went to the island to find it was destroyed. They never saw the Pokémon, but they recognized what it looked like from the computer. So, to see this cloned Pokémon in person was something they didn't expect.
The computer told them the Pokémon was created to become the most powerful in the world. If this is true then they have a problem.
Ryan, what do you want us to do? Rachel asked knowing this is a problem. She is strong, but isn't sure if it will be enough.
Ryan though didn't seem concerned as his attention turns to the other Pokémon. We'll be fine. He replied. We need to take out the other two first before we focus on Mewtwo…ready?
Rachel nods as she turns to Entei and Sylveon as they both nod in response. "All right, let's do it. Entei, use Fire Blast and Sylveon use Dig!"
Entei unleashed his fire attack at his opponents, which Amanda has Mewtwo block with Protect. "Garchomp, use Dig as well and Electivire, use Thunderbolt on Rachel!" Amanda ordered.
Garchomp went underground and went looking for Sylveon. All while Electivire unleashed a powerful electric attack. Rachel blocks it using her on Protect, while noticing Mewtwo or rather Reiko not making her move. She wonders why. Is it because Amanda is saving her for last or waiting for them to get exhausted?
The ground nearby began to break as Garchomp emerged with Sylveon on his back. Sylveon leaps off of Garchomp as Entei tackles the Pokémon away. Electivire Unleashed another Thunderbolt towards Entei, but Rachel stood in the way to block the attack with Psychic. She then returned it towards Reiko.
"Reiko, return the attack to them!" Amanda ordered as her Mewtwo returns the attack with ease towards Rachel.
Entei stood in the way and lets out uses his own Protect to shield Rachel. Rachel sighed in relief that her friend saved her from the attack. Thank you, Entei. I appreciate it.
Entei turns to her and nods in response. He then turns his attention back to their foes as the crowd cheers loudly for them. Ryan is glad that the fight is even, but he gets a feeling once Mewtwo gets involved things will get very difficult. He knew it and he bets Amanda knows it too.
Amanda so far is glad to see things are going at a slow pace. Yes, they started off quickly, but she knew they didn't use their full power yet. She could tell they are just starting off slowly. Getting a read on the other before they start making bigger moves.
I don't get why you don't let me finish this fight off. Amanda turns to her Mewtwo, Reiko who speaks to her through telepathy. The voice sounding feminine and young. I can end this right now so we don't waste any more time.
Amanda though gave a small smile and shook her head. I know Ryan. He won't go down easily and if we think that way then it will end badly for us. She replied knowing Ryan and his Pokémon are not weaklings. He has proven that time and time again. I know you are strong Reiko, but we both know if we go in full force he will make things difficult and we might make a mistake.
Reiko scoffed at the thought of them making any sort of a mistake. I don't make mistakes.
Amanda chuckled softly. That's not what I saw when I first met you. She replied recalling their first encounter a year ago.
Don't remind me. I let my guard down with those Genesect caught me off guard, but I won't let it happen. Reiko then turns to the Gardevoir and could sense something from her. This Gardevoir though…she is different. I can sense a strong bond with her trainer. Hmm she might prove to be a problem for us.
Amanda nods in response. "Then let's focus on taking her out. But first…" she turns to Garchomp and Electivire. "Garchomp, use Earthquake! And Electivire, use Thunder!"
Both Pokémon nod as they begin their attack. Ryan however, isn't going to let this damage his team. "Rachel, use Psychic to lift up the others and Entei use Protect!" he ordered as Rachel managed to use her powers to float herself and the team off the ground.
The earthquake shook the arena floor as the ground began to break apart, rise up, and give the two teams a new playing field. All while the referee and ring announcer took cover. Electivire unleashed his Thunder attack, which was blocked by the barrier of Entei's protect. Amanda though figured as much what he would do and turns to Reiko.
"Reiko, use Stone Edge!" Amanda ordered as Reiko used the rocks around the team to be unleased towards them.
"Sylveon, use Protect!" Ryan ordered just in time as Sylveon shields the team from the rocks, which pierced through the first protect, but stopped at the second.
"Reiko, use Psychic on them!" Amanda ordered as Reiko begins using her Psychic to try crushing the team inside the barrier.
"Damn, didn't know she could do that. Rachel, break through!" Ryan ordered.
Rachel struggled to push the Psychic Pokémon's attack back to free the team, but she was incredibly strong. She has never faced a Psychic-Pokémon as strong as her. Entei and Sylveon try to help break free. To help their friend who struggles to get them out.
You might as well surrender. Reiko began speaking to Rachel. I was made to be the most powerful Pokémon in the world. You can't stop me.
Rachel refused to give in though as she hears Ryan calling out to her. She can even hear the others calling out for her and cheering her on. Even her daughter who cheers for her and telling her mom not to give up.
Rachel refuses to lose and begins drawing more energy into breaking her team free. Her eyes glowed brightly and manages to get the team out. Breaking Reiko's Psychic attack, which surprised her and her trainer. The crowd though cheered as the Pokémon got out of the attack and the fight continues on.
"Nice work, Rachel. I knew you could do it," said Ryan who is happy to see his team is all right.
Rachel nods and gives her Ryan a warm smile before getting serious when she turns to Reiko. I don't care if you were made to become a God. I will never give up. I will not let down the man I love or our loved ones. I will defeat you and show you who is the most powerful.
Reiko is surprised to sense such determination in this Pokémon. Usually when she is called upon by Amanda all it takes is one attack and that's it. Just the presence of what she can do is enough to force others to surrender. Yet this one will not and she stands to fight her.
Amanda turns to Reiko and noticed a small smile. Are you smiling? She asked through their mind-link. What did you two say to one another that made you smile? Something I don't normally see out of you.
Reiko's smile turns to one of seriousness. Don't worry about it. I will end this fight soon and then we can go on to fight the champion.
Amanda sighed as she turns to the battlefield. "All right. But I get the feeling now that Ryan has gotten a taste of how strong you are that things are about to get more serious," said Amanda who is looking forward to it.
Meanwhile
Outside of the arena the fighting continued between Mia and Gale against Nova and her Infernape. The two Pokémon continued their fight, without trying to attract any attention. The last thing Mia wanted was to cause a panic. She also wanted to buy Derek time to go find Cynthia and warn her what is going on.
"Infernape, use Flame Wheel!" Nova ordered as her Pokémon charges at Gale.
"Gale, use Protect!" Mia ordered as her Pokémon managed to block the attack. "Now, use Psycho Cut!"
Gale pushed Infernape back and fired his attack directly hitting his opponent. Infernape is send flying and lands on the ground near his trainer. Nova growled a bit in anger and kicks her Pokémon. Ordering him to get up.
"Get up! Get up right now and fight!" she knew her part in the plan, but refused to lose another battle.
"Stop it!" Mia yelled at her opponent. "Your Pokémon is injured and cannot clearly continue. Surrender now and let him be."
"Oh? And if I don't then what?" Nova mocked Mia. "You will tell the police on me? I don't care how I treat my Pokémon. If they can't do their job right then they are useless and they know it. So, that's why get up right now!"
Infernape struggled to stand as he refused to let himself be called useless. Gale though could sense fear coming from the Pokémon. It was fear of failing his master and fear of being punished. He tries to speak with the Pokémon to surrender and he promised he will protect him.
Infernape though simply shook his head. Mia noticed this and sighed.
"You are exactly like Apollo. You don't care about treating your Pokémon right and you care only to harm others," said Mia who pitied this woman. "Pokémon are our friends and should be treated with respect. They are not weapons or playthings for us to control."
"And yet you force yours to battle," said Nova pointing out the flaw in the other's logic. "Humans say we should treat our Pokémon with love and care. Yet we enslave them, stuff them in tiny balls, use them to fight others, and claim all the victory for their suffering. You can tell me how much you love your pets and how you want to be friends with them. But deep down you know what I say is true and we see them as nothing more than weapons."
"No! That's not true!" yes Mia knew what she says is somewhat true about how humans do capture Pokémon and have them fight, but not all of them are like that. "Pokémon want to be our friends and if they don't want to fight we won't force them. It is their choice and not our own to force them to do something they don't want to do."
"Like being captured, being treated as slaves, and taken from their homes?" Nova replied before she stares at her with no sense of remorse in her eyes. "Face it, you are just like all the rest of these mindless drones. You believe in love, but deep down you love fighting. Hell, I bet you don't even care what happens to your Gallade."
"I do care about him because I l…" Mia stops herself from completing her sentence when Gale moves his hand up to her. "Gale?"
It's okay, Mia. I know the truth and that's all that matters. He replied as he turns to his trainer…no his love. I know you are a good, beautiful, and kind woman. One I am proud to fight alongside with.
"G-Gale," said Mia touched by what her love is telling her.
Gale then turns to Nova and Infernape. There is no point in trying to help her, Mia. You can't get through to her and she doesn't want to. So, let us finish this fight and then put her away. So she can never again hurt another Pokémon ever again.
Mia slowly nods her head before turning to Nova. "We don't care anymore what you think, Nova. We will stop you and Apollo from harming anymore lives."
"Oh really? We will see about that," said Nova as she took out a syringe and injects it into her Pokémon.
Infernape roared out in pain before his body began to heat up. Nova backs away as the flames around her Pokémon grew. Soon Mia sees the Pokemon has bulked up and appeared stronger than before. This was not good she thought as their opponent got ready to fight.
"You are lucky. This is the fight time I ever have to give my weak Infernape this drug to enhanced his power against another opponent," said Nova who wished she had saved it for her sister, but…this is a good time to test it on a live opponent. "His flames has increased more than before and with one hit he will destroy your Gallade. Not even using Protect will save him. Prepare to lose your precious Pokémon and then your life!"
Mia knew she wasn't lying. If she found a way to enhance her Pokémon then…she turns to Gale who nods his head without turning to face her. He knows what she wants to do and trusts her. Mia smiles as she took out a stone from her pocket and puts it on her watch. She then began pressing her hand on it as it began to glow.
Soon Gale began to glow as well as Mia begins using a Mega Stone to help her Pokémon Mega evolve. Gale soon stood in his Mega form and stood ready to fight. Nova noticed this and growls in anger. She didn't care if this Pokémon went into his Mega form she will not lose!
"Infernape! Finish that bitch and her Pokémon! USE FLAME CHARGE!" Nova ordered.
"Gale, use Psycho Cut!" Mia ordered as the two Pokémon charged at one another.
The two collided as their attacks hit the other. The attacks caused a cloud of dust to emerge and covered the two Pokémon. Nova and Mia wait as the dust begins to settle. They look on to see which one of their Pokémon emerged victorious.
Soon the dust was gone and Infernape was on the ground unconscious. With Gale standing over his opponent, much to Nova's anger.
Mia was glad to see her love was safe as she turns to Nova. "It's over. You lost. Now, surrender and tell us what Apollo is up to."
Nova's anger soon changed as she began to laugh. An evil laughter that confuse her two opponents. "I'm afraid it's already too late to tell you anything."
Suddenly the gate to the entrance of the arena began to close up. "What is going on?" Mia asked when she heard more of the gates shutting all around the arena. "W-what is this?"
"This?" Nova used her Pokéball to return her Pokémon back in his ball. "Is the beginning of the end for your friends!" she threw down a smokeball and disappeared.
Mia and Gale run to the gate to try to get it open, but found it was too strong. They were made to prevent Pokémon from breaking through it. Just in case a wild one came in to attack. Inside, Mia saw many of the guards all knocked out and appeared hurt.
"Gale, come! We need to find Derek and warn him," said Mia as they run to find another way inside. "I just hope we're not too late."
There we go with the ending and yeah sorry guys for taking so long with this. I have a lot to deal with involving my university being assholes. Still, I hope everyone liked this. I was going to save what Apollo is up to for later, but fuck it let's get to more on what he is up to sooner rather than later.
Also hope you all like the flashback of Reiko aka Mewtwo II. This Mewtwo yes it is based from the one in Pokémon the Movie: Genesect and the Legend Awakened. However, I decided to make changes and have her meet Amanda. Why she didn't use her before in other battles is because she is very powerful so she wanted to try using her other Pokémon to help her win.
It's like knowing all the answers to everything and you go to a competition. What is the point of going against someone who knows everything? It's not fun and it isn't worth watching or going to see. There needs to be some sort of competition to make it fun.
Now, she chooses to use her to help her against a powerful opponent like Ryan. Also, I named her after the voice actress who voiced her in Japan in the movie. So, I hope everyone got that before I revealed it. Also, will she help the others against Apollo?
We'll see won't we? Also, I hope you all liked this chapter and will like what else I got in store of the next chapter. What is going to happen now that Apollo has made his move? And will the others stop him in time?
Tune in next time to find out and if you like this chapter then please leave a review. Just remember no flame reviews. Also thanks to those for leaving their OCs too and hope you like how they are doing. See you all next time and take care!
