Back with a new chapter... Finally. I know it's been about 2 months and I really don't have any excuse. I just got lazy, that's all.

And it was hard writing this chapter.. I didn't know how to begin it... I also have to admit that I haven't watched that much Originals lately...

Again: Lazy!

I promise I will try to get better at it.

Read, review and enjoy this chapter!

Come What May

Rebekah was walking through the streets of New Orleans, trying to make sense of everything. She was talking with her brothers on the phone.

"Enough already with the family squabbling. Come on Nik, even you can see that the situation has become awkward."

"It's nothing awkward about it. Hayley belongs in the compound with her sister Amy and her niece and this is the place they are safe. As much as I would like Elijah to help kill Finn, Amy doesn't want him here and his feelings are defended, knowing that the girl he loves, married his brother. He is more than welcome to continue to sulk across the river. " Klaus said, speaking the truth.

"As I have explained to you repeatedly, brother, my presence here in Algiers is purely to assemble allies. Now, given all the enemies we have a foot in the form of wayward siblings and ancient Dahlia, I would think that you would applaud my efforts." Elijah replied, not convincing his younger brother.

"Well, if it's my applauds you seek, you shouldn't have told my wife that you thought I was making her do anything she didn't want to do. Betraying her trust is worse than betraying mine." Klaus said, both a little angry and trying to piss Elijah off at the same time

"Ok. Can the two of you try to stay focused for what's best for Hope's safety?"

"I would like nothing more…" Elijah started before Klaus cut him off.

"I'm doing the exactly that."

"See… you're on the same team. Conflict resolved crises is diverted." Rebekah said as Elijah hung up.

"Well, I guess our brother is still a little sore about the subject of me marrying Amy."

"Do you blame him?"

"Of course I do. It has happened too many times for me to keep count. Besides, Amy is still furious with him."

"Well, I am furious with Amy! She never even bothered to tell me about eloping. She knows how much I wanted to plan the wedding and how much I wanted to be there."

"I know that sister, and Amy feels bad about it."

"Well, she can make it up for me by meeting me here for what would have been arrangements to your engagement party. She owes me that much."

"No, I am afraid that's not possible."
"And why is that?"

"Amy is occupied at the moment and believe me when I say; she needs some time for herself and our daughter."

Amy's p.o.v

It's been almost two weeks since the wedding and Elijah deciding to leave the compound. We still hadn't seen Dahlia and a small part of me wished that everything we've learned is wrong. That she wasn't coming to take our daughter away.

I guess you thought that I would say that being with Hope was the best part of those days and it was, I love spending time with my daughter, but the last few days has been hard.

Two nights ago, I woke up to a screaming Hope. I thought maybe she had a bad nightmare or something, and picked her up. What I didn't know is that supernatural kids is just like any other kids.

They get sick….

And by sick, I mean the whole ordeal; a running nose, fever and the part I love most… Vomit.

It's hard to have an 7, almost 8 month old, throwing up, never stops crying and won't eat anything.

How do I know? Let's just say I still have chunks of vomit in my hair and food all over me.

Stains everywhere. I haven't even slept in 48 hours. I haven't showered; eaten or slept at all… didn't I say that already?

I know I am a hybrid and I shouldn't get tired but trying to take care of a sick baby, is not easy. Nik is trying to help but he's no good. He's not good for anything right now. Because of that, I get irritated from the lack of sleep and food and I smell like something that shouldn't be alive.

I finally put Hope down for a nap and hoped that she would sleep for a few hours. I walked downstairs, too tired to even take a shower. I couldn't do it, knowing that Hope could wake up any second, needing me. I walked out on the balcony facing towards the inside of the compound, leaning my head against my hands, trying to take deep breaths. I felt sick myself and I hated feeling this way. I felt a hand at roaming my back and I didn't even care about whom it was. I already knew. I moaned at the delightful pressure against my back.

"Is Hope asleep?" Nik asked me carefully as he continued to massage my sore muscles.

"Yeah, or I hope so at least. She hasn't stopped vomiting yet and I am starting to get worried. How do I get her to stop?" I asked not sure what else to ask for.

"I don't know, sweetheart. She'll get better soon. If not, I'll get a witch or a doctor to look at her.

"Shouldn't we have called a doctor by now?" I asked, feeling completely hopeless.

"Let's give her a little more time. Us Mikaelson's can get through anything." Nik told me.

"I know that, Nik. But I'm about to lose my mind here. I actually feel sick myself." I told him in frustration. "I feel as if I want to throw up myself."

"You're just exhausted, sweetheart. Hybrids can't get sick, so I think it's just in your head." Nik told me and I took it the wrong way.

"So you're telling me that I'm crazy, is that it?" I asked Nik with a harsh voice.

"No, that's not what I meant." Nik started but I cut him off.

"I know exactly what you meant!" I yelled back at him, making Hope wake up again, screaming bloody murder.

"Great! Now look at what you've done." I growled at my husband.

"I didn't do anything, sweetheart." Nik said with a strained laugh.

"Just get out of my sight, Nik. I can do this on my own." I hissed at him, before going back for Hope. I walked into her room and she laid there crying her eyes out. I lifted her up to calm her down a little. Hope continued to cry and snuggled against my chest. Her crying died down and I thought it was because she would fall asleep.

I was wrong.

I the next second, Hope threw up on me all over again. I wanted to cry but figure it wouldn't help. I was starting to lose hope for sure.

Nik didn't want to bring in help just yet, but there was someone that could help me right about now. I just hope she's up for it…

I picked up my phone and dialed a number.

"Hello."

"Hey, it's me. I know you're hurting right now, but I could really need some help. Could you please come by my house?"

Third person p.o.v

After Rebekah had hung up the phone, she couldn't help but feel as if she's being watched. She looked around and saw someone keeping a close eye on her. She knows better than to just shrug it off and tries to get away with everything she has. She suddenly bumps into someone and it scares and frustrate her.

"Excuse you too." She exclaimed at the man in front of her. Rebekah feels uneasy about the way the man looks at her and she tries her best to get away. She runs through the crowd, trying to get away from the people chasing her.

Rebekah curses herself, when she realizes that she's at a dead end. The men circled her in and she tried to use her own magic but failed.

"Are you looking for something, besides a smack in the jaw?" Rebekah asked.

"You'll die from what you've done." One of the men said. Rebekah tried to use her power but nothing worked.

"Stupid, bloody magic!" Rebekah exclaimed, before she's knocked onto the ground with another kind of powerful magic. She actually thought that she was about to die, when someone came to her rescue.

Marcel.

He threw the other witches away and turned to look at her.

"There's more of them on the way. We should probably go." Marcel said and he could feel the girl hesitate.

"Rebekah." Marcel said with worry and it made her look up.

"How did you know?" Rebekah asked.

"Can we talk about that later? We don't have all day." Marcel said as he grabbed her and used his vampire speed to get away from the alley.

Amy's p.o.v

After disconnecting my phone call, I finally made Hope calm down again and I was able to actually take a short shower. But I still felt like crap.

I brought Hope downstairs to the living room, sleeping soundly in my arms. Nik looked at me with caution, afraid of me blowing up again.

"Is she all right, love?" Nik asked carefully and I just nodded.

"For now." I replied, rocking Hope back and forth. "She threw up on me again, Nik. I'm completely clueless on what to do next."

Nik wrapped me into his embrace and kissed my forehead.

"We will be fine, love. I promise." Nik whispered in my ear and pulled me down onto his lap. We sat like this until Jackson and my sister Hayley joined us for a meeting Nik pulled himself together. He wanted to use the goods he still had.

Hayley and Jackson cooed over our sleeping baby as the meeting proceeded and Nik was growing impatient.

"It's time to use our werewolf army. Finn and the woman who calls herself my sister are in this city. The wolves can help us pinpoint their location." Nik told them but Jackson has other plans.

"No, we need all hands on deck here with Hope." Jackson said and I knew Nik hated it when someone disobeyed him. "You can compel humans to track your enemies."

This was not going to go well.

"Do my ears deceive me, or did you just give me an order in my own home?" Nik asked with an irritated voice.

"This ain't about your ego, Klaus. It's what's best for that little girl." Jackson argued back.

"How dare you question my intention for my daughter?" Klaus hissed at him with a slightly higher voice. Hope started to stir and I carefully rocked her, hoping that she wouldn't wake up.

"Jack… Klaus is right." Hayley said actually supporting what Klaus just said and I agreed.

"Finn's body just disappeared, which means he's either powerful enough to heal from that explosion, or Freya's powerful enough to save him." I said as Hope settle down again.

"Either way, we're not finding them unless we send our best people out there." Hayley shot in and for the first time in a long time, I actually felt grateful to her.

"But I'm sure all your merry men will find them posthaste." Nik said with a smirk. I could tell Jackson was agitated and stood up.

"Just to be clear… I'm giving this order because Hayley's asking. Don't think for one second I take orders from you." Jackson spat at him but Nik only looked smug and unaffected from all of this.

Hope stirred in my arms again and I prayed that she wouldn't wake up. I touched her forehead, and I could feel that her fever is gone. Maybe it will be better. I looked up at Nik and I could see that he felt bad for me. He wanted to help.

Nik took Hope out of my arms and kept her close to his chest. He could see how tired I was. Nik grabbed my hand and brought us upstairs to the bedroom.

"I want you to get some sleep, love. You need it, or you won't be able to function." Nik told me and I knew that he was right.

"I know, Nik. It's just hard, that's all." I said with a yawn. Nik returned Hope to me and I put her in bed next to me. I am going to go and do what I can to keep Hope safe, and I'll see you later." Nik kissed my forehead and walked out of the room.

Both Hope and I had fallen asleep before the steps of Nik faded.

I have literary never ever been this tried in my life.

Third person p.o.v

Somewhere in New Orleans, Finn was currently in hiding with his older sister Freya and he was angry.

"Don't worry. I've made sure no one can come in here." Freya said as she approached him.

"I'm not worried; I'm just impatient for a reunion with the brothers that tried to kill me and that bitch, Amy too." Finn said, trying to contain his anger.

Freya, now that I'm healed, I need power. Our father's still in the tomb where I left him. I think it's time that I go back and channel him."

"Finn. I need a moment with him alone first." Freya told her brother. "It's been a thousand years. He doesn't even know that I'm still alive."

Finn didn't like this at all.

"Believe me, Freya that is for the best. He's a monster." Finn argued his sister.

"He wasn't a monster to me." Freya said softly.

"Well, he changed after you were taken. Freya, I spent years hoping that he would go back to being himself, but he never did. And from what I understand, over the centuries, he's grown far worse."

"Just a few minutes, my sweet Munin." Freya said sweetly, knowing that Finn would never be able to resist her when she used his nickname on him.

"I suppose you'll want time with our mother as well?" Finn said with a sigh as he gave in.

"Esther gave me away. She is nothing to me. Let her rot for all I care." Freya spat as they made their way out of the safety house.

Finn brought Freya to the Lafayette cemetery and towards their parents. Freya looked down at her mother with disgust, a mother is supposed to protect her child, not give up on her like her mother had done to her.

Finn could see how upset Freya was and covered their mother with a blanket.

"Our brothers probably have spies all over the place looking for us." Finn started to say.

"I won't be long, Finn. I promise." Freya told him.

"Freya, are you sure you want to do this? This is not the man that you remember." Finn started to say.

"He is still my father." Freya told him.

Fine, he's still your father, but why are you so fixated on Amy? Something's not right here." Finn argued and Freya only smiled.

"I have my reasons. I have a lot to say." Freya told him with a genuine smile.

Finn sighed and picked his mother up from the ground, leaving Freya alone with their father.

Rebekah found herself in Marcel's apartment, and she wasn't happy. She didn't understand why those men attacked her in the first place and now, she was stuck with Marcel.

Rebekah didn't want to be here. She wanted to be back with her family, but she didn't let Marcel have the satisfaction of knowing that.

"You haven't spoken a word for 30 minutes." Marcel said looking at his watch.

"Thirty-one. Fine, I'll answer for you. Thank you for rescuing me, Marcel. It's so good of you to still care even though no one told you I was back."

"I asked them not to." Rebekah replied a little bored.

"There she is. Why?" Marcel asked.

"It's complicated. How did you find me anyway?" Rebekah exclaimed. Marcel slammed his glass of bourbon down on the counter, almost making Rebekah flinch.

"I knew you were you, I knew you were up to something, so I followed you. Okay? And it's a good thing that I did. That market is bad news. The Treme witches are not friendly to outsiders. What were you doing there?" Marcel asked her and Rebekah sighed with annoyance.

"I was looking for anything that could help boost my magic. I promised Aron I'd find a way to bring him back. I can't do that as an amateur-hour witch." Rebekah said, starting to get agitated.

"You need to be more careful." Marcel started to say.

"I can take care of myself." Rebekah argued back.

"All evidence to the contrary."

"Don't be condescending. Just because you got to play the hero for one tiny moment." Rebekah told him stubbornly.

"One tiny saved-your-life-from-certain-death moment." Marcel smirked as Elijah ran through the door.

"Are you all right?" Elijah asked frantically.

"Barely. The attackers knew me, Elijah. Not 'me' me but this. Her." Rebekah gestured towards the body she's borrowing for the moment. "Whoever she is, they want her dead."

"Then we find them and show them their anger is unwise." Elijah said with certainty.

"You don't want to mess with that crowd. We want answers, we ask Josephine LaRue." Marcel told them. "She's matriarch to covens outside the Quarter. She'll know who wants Rebekah dead."

"How can you be sure?" Rebekah asked calmly.

"She bankrolls the Fauline Cottage. She'll know who you are and why you were locked up in there." Marcel answered.

"What if she locks me right back? I won't go back to that horrid place." Rebekah stated, turning towards her brother.

"Go and see what you can find out about this body you now possess. I shall pay a visit to Josephine." Elijah told both Rebekah and Marcel. "A warning to you, Rebekah. You are not who you once were. This body is all too vulnerable."

"Elijah. Josephine is an eccentric old bat with no love for vampires. Your charms might not work as well as you think." Marcel told him.

"My charms are quite adaptable, Marcellus, let me assure you." Elijah replied before leaving.

"Yeah. Like his charm worked on Amy." Marcel muttered under his breath.

"I heard that!" They heard Elijah call back at them.

Amy's p.o.v

I didn't sleep very long….

About 5 minutes or so. Or that's what it felt like.

I woke up to Hope, screaming again. I checked her temperature, and it was finally going back to normal. I decided to try to give her something to eat, but it wasn't easy. She still didn't have an appetite.

I tried my best to keep her calm but it was rather difficult.

"I'm so sorry, babygirl. I'm trying my best here." I said in frustration. How am I going to deal with this?

I wanted to start crying but I knew that if would only make matters worse. I knew that Nik was here but I've already told him to not come near us when she's this upset.

Some kind of wife I am.

Hope started to calm down about the same time as I heard voices downstairs. I made it out to be Aiden and Jackson.

"So, what are we now, errand boys?" Aiden asked.

"I told you, Finn's powerful. If we're gonna find him, we need number, strength and speed." Jackson told him.

"Wait, Jack, these new abilities of ours… people are talking about what they can do individually. They need to feel respected." I could hear Aiden tell Jackson.

"We're gonna lose good men..."

"We're not going to lose anybody if you stay alert. Hunt Finn down as a pack. Catch him off guard. The sooner we find this freak, the sooner we can all relax." Jackson said and I could understand why he felt like this.

"And Aiden… I appreciate your concern, but why don't you let me worry about the pack?"

With that, Jackson walked away and I walked outside my room to get a better view. Nik looked at me and I knew he wished for me to get more sleep than this. He kissed my forehead before approaching Aiden.

"Surprising how little he values your input." Nik told Aiden.

"Especially since it was you who led the wolves during his self-imposed exile."

"What do you want, Klaus?" Aiden asked carefully as I returned to back to our room, because Hope fuzzed in her sleep again.

"Merely to offer advice that may save the lives of good men. My brother Finn is not entirely sane, but he is clever. If you approach him, en masse, he will see you coming and he will destroy you en masse. Instead, be strategic. Move quietly. I'll handle the rest." Nik said but got interrupted by someone.

"What are you doing here, teenage witch?" Nik asked and looked at the girl in front of him.

"I am here because Amy called me and asked me to meet her. Don't think for one second that I came here to see you." The witch hissed before walked upstairs.

I was sitting on my bed with Hope in my lap, when I suddenly saw a figure standing by the door. I looked up, and saw Davina. She was standing there, just like I asked.

"Hey. I got here as soon as I could." Davina said softly and sat down beside me.

"Thank you for coming." I said tiredly. "I don't know what to do anymore."

Davina looked at me with sympathy, and then she looked down at my daughter.

"So, this is Hope, right?" She asked and I just nodded. "I barely caught a glimpse of her at the wedding."

"Yeah, this is her alright." I confirmed at the same time Hope made her trademark noises.

"Wow! What a precious little girl." Davina exclaimed, looking down at my little girl.

"Yeah, I kind of like her." I said with a tired smile and I made Davina laughing, forgetting her pain about losing Aron, someone she cared so deeply about.

"It's nice to see something so innocent. It kind of makes you forget all the things that goes wrong in our lives, all the people we've lost." Davina said with a whisper as she traced her fingers softly against Hope's forehead. It couldn't help but feeling bad for her. No one should have to go through that kind of heartache when you're just a teenager.

"How have you've been doing after, you know, after what happened to Aron?" I asked carefully.

"Honestly, I don't have an answer for that, It's still too unreal for me to even think about it, and I don't want to talk about him just yet." Davina told me and I could understand why.

"So, what do you need me to help you with?" Davina asked, trying to change the subject.

"Well…" I said, looking down at Hope. "She's been sick for a few days, not wanting to eat and she's vomiting every three hours or so. I just want to make sure there's nothing wrong with her because of the supernatural."

Davina looked at her for a moment before holding out her arms.

"May I?" She asked and I carefully placed Hope into her arms, praying that she wouldn't wake up.

Davina held her with ease and held her hands against Hope's tummy. She closed her eyes for a moment, chanting a little under her breath. After a few minutes, Davina let out a small gasp but quickly turned it into a soft smile as the both of us watched as Hope opened her eyes, looking straight into Davina's eyes. They looked at each other as if they're having some kind of conversation. It was fascinating but it still made me scared.

What if something was wrong with my daughter, was Dahlia behind this?

"Davina, is there something wrong?" I asked with a little panic. Davina tared her eyes away from Hope and looked at me with a smile.

"No, there's nothing wrong with her. She's just like every other baby. They tend to get sick." Davina told me, and it made me feel less panicky.

"So, there's nothing wrong with her, other than the flu?" I asked.

"Well, I'm not a doctor, but I recommend rest and a lot of fluids." Davina said before returning Hope to me and jumping off my bed. "I really should be going. I can't stand being here."

I could understand why she needed to leave.

"It's ok, I understand. Thank you for coming here. I think you just managed to make me worry less about her being sick." I said with a smile, just to show her that I was grateful.

"Hey, Davina… Just remember that if you need someone to talk to or just a shoulder to cry on, I'm here for you." I said.

"I know, Amy, thank you." Davina told me before turning to leave. I looked down at my daughter that finally seemed to show some signs to get better.

"Hey, Amy…" Davina called for me and I looked up at her. "No matter what's going to happen in the future, I will make sure that you'll be safe… no matter what."

In one way, that felt good, but in another way, I didn't understand where she wanted with this.

I looked down at Hope and she was squealing for the first time in days. I just hope that this is will continue.

Third person p.o.v

Back at the other side of the river, Marcel had finally returned to his apartment after picking up something that they needed to figure out what was going on with Rebekah's current body.

"Nothing says 'manly' like buying a matching tea set." Marcel told her sarcastically. "The good news is; this guy who's coming is into witch business like you wouldn't believe. If anyone can tell us about you, it's him."

Rebekah didn't look all that convinced but didn't comment on it.

"While we're waiting, how about that explanation." Marcel asked her.

"Fine." Rebekah said, rolling her eyes. She didn't see the harm in telling him. They all knew about Hope by now and it was about time to come clean to him, regarding the fact that she hadn't told Marcel that she was back.

"Yes, I asked my brothers not to tell you I was back. I didn't want to see you after all this time when I wasn't myself. Not like this. I did this to protect the one thing that means everything to me, even more than you but I also feared that I might be desperate to kiss you, which I clearly can't do whilst occupying someone else's lips." Rebekah told him, trying not to show him that she was blushing a little.

"Did you?" Marcel asked with a smirk.

"Did I what?" Rebekah answered confused.

"Want to kiss me?"

"No."

"Are you sure about that?"

"One hundred bloody percent." Rebekah answered firmly, not taking her eyes off the one she had loved for centuries.

"Satisfied?"

Before Marcel could answer, someone approached them.

"Am I interrupting?" A man asked the two of them.

"No, you're right on time." Marcel told the man. "Allow me to introduce Ruben Morris. Local seer, sage and prognosticator for hire."

"Thank you for coming." Rebekah blurted out quickly.

"Yeah, charmed." Ruben said sarcastically. "Just a reminder, house calls costs double."

Marcel only mumbled a little, before giving Ruben the money.

"Where did you find her?" Ruben asked Marcel, not looking directly at Rebekah.

"On the streets, memory wiped clean. Could be a hex or amnesia. I figured you'd have an idea who she is, or maybe a way to find out." Marcel answered, hoping that he could help them.

"I've never seen her before." Ruben said and Rebekah felt as if she would never get back to the family she wanted to be with.

"But… That doesn't mean that we can't figure it out. Did you get what I asked for?"

Marcel nodded and pointed at the box he had picked up earlier.

"Then my leaves will tell us everything we need to know." Ruben said as he opened his bag.

Amy's p.o.v

Hope hasn't been throwing up since Davina was here a few hours ago, and it made me calmer somehow, but I still wondered what they shared in between them. Hope was still a little fuzzy but her eating was better, though. I carefully placed her in her crib and slowly walked out of her room, trying not to make a sound.

Someone knocked on my door and I internally cursed my brains out, not wanting Hope to wake up again.

I looked up and saw Hayley and Jackson enter the room.

"Please be quiet." I whispered. "She has finally stopped throwing up but she still fuzzy and an extremely light sleeper."

"We thought you might me hungry." Both Hayley and Jackson said at the same time. Jackson handed me a tray with something simple to eat and I wasn't that impressed.

"Wow… oatmeal. Just the thing I was looking for." I told him sarcastically.

"Well, we don't like to brag." Jackson started to say as Hayley could see how tired and worn out I was. She knew that I was about to drop dead. But when she took a step closer to me, I growled at her to let her know to keep her distance. I couldn't deal with her right now. Jackson could see this and silently told Hayley to leave the room.

"Ames… You know that I can help you with Hope, right? If you want to take a break, I'm good with kids and Hayley really wants to make up for everything that's happened in the past." Jackson told me and at some level, I knew he was right.

"I know, Jack… but I missed so many months of her life already, I don't mind taking care of my daughter." I told him but I could tell by the look on his face that there's something else bothering him.

"Hey, Jack? I know I have been in my own bubble the last few days, but I know when something is wrong. Is there something bothering you?" I asked, trying to show him that I care.

"I'm fine. Just trying to get the wolves back into the Quarter." Jack answered and I really didn't believe him.

"Jackson… I know you're not telling me the truth…" I said and threw myself down on the bed. "Please tell what's really going on. Is everything alright between you and my sister?"

"Everything is fine. I'm just a little frustrated, that's all." Jackson said with a blush. I cocked an eyebrow and bit my lip.

"Wait, are you saying that you and Hayley haven't had sex yet?" I asked him with a whisper. Jackson grew even redder and I tried my best, not to laugh too loudly and waking up Hope again.

"My God, Jackson. What's taking so long?" I asked with a low voice, knowing that Hayley's close by.

"The unification ritual worked, but Hayley and I still have to live as husband and wife." Jackson told me.

"Wait, then what's the problem exactly? I thought you loved each other." I said, not understanding this hesitation.

"Well, considering the last person she was with, I'm not sure I would be enough to seal the deal." Jackson said sadly and I knew he was referring to Kol.

It wasn't easy for Jackson, knowing that the one he loves most in this world, slept with someone else and knowing that no matter what he would do, she would always compare him to Kol.

I tried my best to make things better for him.

"Jackson, you can't think like that. You know that Hayley loves you and you know that you'll never have to compare yourself to Kol." I told him. "What you and my sister have goes beyond everything else. Stop being a coward and go for it. I can help you!"

At the same exact time, Hope woke up once again and I wanted to bang my head against the wall. Why couldn't she just sleep? I listened to her cries and I could actually sense that for once, she was hungry.

"Or, I could go try and feed my baby." I said with a tired sigh and left Jackson to go to Hope.

"Amy…"

I turned around, facing Jackson.

"I meant what I said, I'm great with kids." Jackson told me and I couldn't help but smile.

"Thank you, Jackson. I will hold you to that." I replied with a sad smile. I walked back into the bedroom to find Hope trying to stand up. The second she saw me, she stopped crying and reached out for me.

"I'm here babygirl. Nothing will harm you, I promise." I said as I picked her up. She started to calm down and snuggled against me. I felt so frustrated but tried my best not to show it.

"Oh, I just wished you could tell me what you're thinking I want to understand what you're feeling. I want to understand why you feel like this."

I'm just glad she isn't throwing up anymore. I just have to believe that she's better and that she will be back to normal in no time.

It didn't take long before Jackson and Hayley came back. They convinced me to leave Hope to their care for a little while, just so I could get some time to myself.

I didn't like that I had to leave Hope, but I knew that she would be safe with my sister and her husband.

I walked into the living room and sat down with a blood bag, not that I was hungry, but I knew I needed it. I sipped on it slowly, not paying attention to anything around me. My stomach couldn't take it, so I threw the bag away. God! I hated this. I put my head in my hands, trying to just calm down a little.

Suddenly, I felt someone rubbing my back and I knew whom it was. Nik sat down beside me and he tried to make me feel better.

"I'm sorry for the way I've treated you today." I said with a low voice, knowing that he deserved an apology. Nik tilted my chin up so he could look into my eyes. He looked at me with compassion and adoration.

"You don't have to give any apologies, sweetheart. You're tried and emotional, you're allowed to be like that. You just have to remember that I'm here for you, in sickness and in health. Just like we promised each other when we married each other." Nik told me and right in that moment, I knew I had the best husband ever.

I wrapped my arms around Nik's neck and kissed him tenderly. Nik responded immediately and tangled his hands in my hair. I sifted a little and Nik helped me the rest of the way, so that I was straddling his waist. This was the first time in two weeks; he was allowed to touch me like this.

We broke apart after a few minutes, resting our foreheads together.

"I love you so much, Nik. Don't ever think otherwise." I whispered to him.

"I know, sweetheart, I love you too, Little Wolf." Nik answered and kissed my forehead.

"Now, I know that you want to stay here with our daughter, but you and I both know that we should do whatever we can to solve this problem we have." Nik told me and I knew he was right. I let out a sigh and ran my hand through his hair.

"I know, Nik. What do you need me to do?" I asked, even though I didn't want to leave Hope at all.

"Well, you're not going to like this, but I need you to go with Elijah and meet this woman…" Nik started and I growled in response.

"Give me one good reason why I should go meet Elijah." I hissed, getting up from Nik's lap. At first, Nik didn't say anything and it didn't make me want to go to the man who said all those terrible things about my husband and our marriage.

"Hello?! I'm talking to you! Give me one good reason to do this." I almost yelled at him.

"For Hope." Nik answered, getting up from the couch and I froze.

"Do this for our daughter, and only think of that. She is all that matters, remember."

Nik knew that Hope was my weakness and I hated that.

"Nik, I want to help, I really do, but I can't leave Hope. She's sick and she needs her mother." I argued.

"I know sweetheart, but I'm Hope's father. If she needs anything, I will be here for her." Nik told me and he's right. I had to let him act like a father and I needed to do something besides staying glued to Hope's hip.

"You're right, I'm sorry, Nik. It's just hard leaving her when she's like this." I said in defeat.

"She will be fine, Amy and if she acts up again, I will make sure to let you know immediately, so you can come back here whenever you want." Nik told me and I knew I had to trust him on this one.

"Fine, I will go, but the minute something happens, I will be back before you know it." I said firmly.

"I wouldn't have it any other way, sweetheart." Nik told me and kissed me senseless. I took another quick shower and changed into a new set of clothes.

"I'll be back before you know it." I whispered to my husband before walking out of the compound. I wanted to do what I could to help but I had no idea where to find Elijah and that moron, Gia.

I just had to trust my instincts and seek them out. That didn't take me long, and I found them at what seemed to be Elijah's new apartment on the other side of the river.

I walked into the building slowly, trying not to give myself away too quickly. I could hear Gia complaining to Elijah about something.

"Can't we just bring wine? Or coffee cake? Bunt cake, any kind of cake?"

From what I can gather, Ms. LaRue was something of a musical prodigy in her youth. The way to her heart is with the music she loves the most: Beethoven. "Sonata No. 9, Opus 47." Elijah said and I couldn't help rolling my eyes.

"How about I bring my laptop, speakers, add a drumbeat?" Gia asked and I could not help but thinking how stupid Gia actually is.

"The promise of your performance opened the door for us. If this fails, the life of someone I care for deeply will be in jeopardy. Shall we move on, please?" Elijah asked and that's when I stepped forward.

"Well, well, well. I'm curious, Elijah…Who is this person that you care about so deeply?" I asked to add some more tension. Elijah moved his gaze towards me and it looked as if he had fallen from heaven or something.

"What are you doing here, Amy?" He asked out of breath.

"What do you think? I am here for my daughter, not that I wanted to leave her." I answered, still feeling weird that I wasn't with my little girl.

Elijah looked at me strangely and I figured it was because we hadn't seen each other since Hayley's wedding and attacked him because he was an ass.

"We don't need any distractions…" Elijah started to say, but I cut him off again.

"Stop it, Elijah. Why on earth would I be a distraction to you? I'm simply here to get the job done. And let's face it; I am rather adorable when I want to be." I said as I reluctantly sat down next to Gia.

"Are you any good on your violin?" I asked Gia, completely ignoring Elijah in the process.

"Like you wouldn't believe." Gia answered with a smirk.

"You know, I'm quite gifted when it comes to music too. Maybe I should challenge you one day." I said and I found out that Gia wasn't that bad to talk to.

"Bring it on mama bear." Gia mocked me and I couldn't help but giggle a little.

"Could we skip the girl bonding and get on with this?" Elijah asked impatiently.

"No. Why don't you make our lives easier and just compel someone from the symphony?" Gia asked.

"Don't you know, Gia, Elijah here always has to do things even more complicated than it already is." I said to irritate Elijah as much as I could.

"Could you not do this right now, Amy? And my darling Gia, you are an artist. Far more gifted than anyone from any local symphony. Unfortunately, Ms. LaRue despises vampires. We need to show her that our community is comprised of a different breed, with a new sophistication." Elijah told us.

"Well, you've just been oozing of sophistication lately, haven't you, Elijah?" I asked sarcastically. I was still hurt after how he treated my husband after I told him we got married.

"If you cannot stop acting like a child, then you can show yourself out." Elijah hissed at me.

"I am acting like a child?" I asked, starting to get angry. "You've been acting like a child yourself, with all the things you told my husband, your brother, just because you couldn't get what you wanted. You acted like a spoiled brat."

"And to say that Nik doesn't care about our daughter, I've never been more hurt in my life. It's almost like you don't care about Hope at all." I hissed at him and I knew that I had taken it a little too far.

How do I know that? The look on Elijah's face displayed utter horror. I regretted it at the same time as I said it. How could I ever imply that he didn't care about Hope? Elijah loved her just as much as Nik and I did.

I wasn't sure if he would just walk away or blow up on me like he did on Nik.

Before he could say anything, Gia jumped up and broke the two of us apart.

"Ok, before world war III starts… Amy, why don't you go to the next room and figure out what kind of dresses we should wear and I will stay here and work with Elijah on how it's going to go down." Gia told me, and no matter how much I hated to admit it, I knew that Gia was right.

"Fine!" I said and walked away before we would say something even worse to each other.

Even though I wasn't in the same room, I could still hear Elijah and Gia talking to each other. Not that I really wanted to listen in to their conversation.

"Ok, Look. I know this is hard for you. Knowing that you will never have her heart." Gia told him.

"Look, for what it's worth, I thought Marcel and I had a thing but that didn't work out. We may not be in the same boat, but it's the same ocean. But don't take it out on her."

Gia joined me just after that and somehow, I felt some kind of gratitude towards her.

"Thank you… For what you said." I whispered to her.

"No worries. Now… I have genuine fear of something that's not pants… So help me find something to wear." Gia answered and I couldn't help but laugh at how weird this girl could be.

Third Person p.o.v

Rebekah was still waiting on getting answers about the body she was in, she wanted to get all of this over with so she could be with the ones she loves most in this world. She wanted to be back with her niece and her best friends. The guy, Ruben, used so much time on preparing… Rebekah hated waiting.

"Can't we just speed up the process to the part where you tell me who I am?" Rebekah asked impatiently.

"You want the leaves to talk, you got to sip the tea." Ruben answered and poured both Marcel and herself a cup.

"You too, Marcel. It's your house. The spell won't work if you're not a part of it."

At this point, Rebekah started to wonder why Marcel needed to be a part of this and if Ruben's intentions was honorable. She drank the stuff anyway at the same time as Marcel drank his tea.

Ruben wanted to look at the tea leaves in Rebekah's cup and she had to stop herself from rolling her eyes at all of this.

"The leaves say you were born with a dark sign. Fought against your nature. Looks like you lost." Ruben told Rebekah before talking to himself.

"What?" Rebekah asked urgently.

"I've heard of this before."

"What is it?" Rebekah urged on.

"Last year, a witch named Eva Sinclair was stealing children to channel their power. That'd be you." Ruben told her and Rebekah started to have second thoughts about this. At the same time, she started to feel woozy, something was very wrong here.

"You're a murderous psychopath…"

When she couldn't breathe, Rebekah started to panic.

"You're having a panic attack. Try and think of Amy and Hope, Rebekah…" Marcel told her as he started to feel faint as well. Rebekah registered that Marcel dropped to the ground without any effort and she tried her best to get away from this Ruben guy.

"She is not who you think she is." Marcel said out of breath as Rebekah unnoticed secured some sort of bottle.

"Marcel Gerard, I expected you to keep a better company of people." Ruben said, and in the next moment, Ruben broke his neck. He turned towards Rebekah with a foul look on his face.

"No one could prove it was you, Eva." Ruben told her. "They never found those kids. Those kids of our own, we'd go to bed at night not sleep a wink knowing you were out there. There was no way I was going to let you out into the world. Not if my son could be next."

Rebekah could feel herself lose consciousness and all she could think about, was Hope… Hope and Amy… She couldn't leave them like this.

Amy's p.o.v

Gia and I found some respectable dresses to wear to the meeting we had with Ms. LaRue. Elijah hadn't been able to look at me since my 'harassment' against him. I tried my best not to make things even worse.

As we arrived at the house, I felt somewhat nervous. Elijah hadn't seen my dress yet and I was worried that Gia had picked out a dress too sexy for this.

Gia actually gave me a sincere smile as we approached the door of Ms. LaRue's home. A butler with a stick up in his ass opened the door. I wanted to tell him to get out and live his life, but he seemed to be dedicated to his work.

The butler silently let us inside the house, so I gathered that vampires are allowed in the house.

We're shown into the living room and saw an elderly woman sitting there. There's no words that needs to be said and Elijah silently told Gia to start playing a masterpiece on her violin.

I kept on thinking that this wasn't the way to go, but Elijah stopped me before I could make my statement. This is what he wanted. I had nothing to say.

As Gia played, I could tell that the woman was moved but not in the way, we wanted. She looked like a woman who wanted her youth back. This was not pretty.

When Gia stopped playing, you could feel the tension in the air. I wanted to say something, but nothing came out.

"You are as calculating as I've heard, Mr. Mikaelson. Having your companion play the very piece I once performed to great acclaim, even though the other girl hated it." Ms. LaRue told Elijah and I couldn't help but blush.

"Is it not also a piece that you enjoy?" Elijah asked politely.

"It's best not to insult those more powerful than you… which is the only reason I allowed you and your followers into my home. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have many things to do." Ms. LaRue told us and for some reason, I wanted to obey her demands.

"My goodness, I had expected a more cordial welcome here." Elijah said with a smirk, but it did not work on this old bat.

"And why would I be cordial to you? Since your family has returned to the city, our elders have been murdered; promising young witches have been inhabited against their will." Ms. LaRue told Elijah.

"And I could put an end to all of it."

"With all due respect, I can believe that. As much as I believe I will play my violin again someday."

Ms. LaRue showed us her hands, and I could help but releasing a small gasp from my mouth. All of them looked at me. Ms. LaRue understood my reaction.

"I am so sorry." I rambled on but the old woman stopped me.

"Mr. Mikaelson, beneath your formal attire and beyond the lovely Beethoven, you're all the same.

Liars, monsters wearing the skin of humans." The old woman told us.

"Good day to all of you."

Well… this bitch had it coming. She was dismissing us, without blinking. That's not right. Elijah could tell that I was irritated, and he silently stopped me before I could attack the damn woman.

"Ms. LaRue, we needn't be unpleasant." Elijah told her as she stood up.

"I hold no animosity, nor do I want to do you any favors. I simply want you to leave my home." Ms. LaRue said and I just lost it.

"Screw her, Elijah. She's not the Queen of everything, where is her freaking crown?" I exploded.

"I beg your pardon?" Ms. LaRue asked in dismay.

"You are no Queen of the witches. You don't speak for them at all. I can't believe I had to spend time with someone I don't like, finding her a dress, knowing that I would rather be elsewhere without that airhead. – No offence, Gia. And I can't believe that after all the time I spent getting her ready for this, and listen to her learning Beethoven, whom I never really liked, because I don't consider it music. It's all just noise to me." I rambled on.

"I hate classical music, always have. I am sorry for my outburst but I haven't slept in 48 hours, because I've had a child with illness and I'm about to go crazy." I said without stopping. I tried to calm myself down but it wasn't easy.

Ms. LaRue only looked at me with compassion in her eyes, it was as if she was looking into my soul.

"Tell me child… What kind of music did you enjoy playing on the piano?" She asked me and it blew my mind away.

"What are you talking about?" I asked with a high and nervous voice.

"I can see it on your hands, dear. You have the hands of a musician, of a pianist. What kind of music did you play when you were younger?" Ms. LaRue urged on and it surprised me that she would notice. No one ever knew about my piano playing skills other than Nik. I hadn't played since before my father died and I know started to think that Nik only wanted me to come because it.

"Show me." Ms. LaRue stated gently.

I pulled myself together and gave Gia a music sheet with some notes on it.

"Do you think you can keep up?" I asked with a serious look on my face. Gia only snorted and grinned.

"Oh, please… I was born to do this." Gia told me confidently.

"Good… follow my lead." I almost barked. I tried my best not to show how nervous I actually was. Since my mom and dad died, I had only played for Nik. I took a deep breath and without thinking, I started playing.

With my piano playing and Gia on the violin, we managed to create something beautiful. We played for a little while before turning towards Ms. LaRue and for once, she was smiling.

"Well… I have to say that I do not know this kind of music, but I never fail to see when someone is in love with a piece as you are, my dear." She said, looking directly at me.

"All though, it seems as if you hide the true musician in you due to previous events. But I know where you're coming from. I felt the same way after I lost my mother unexpectedly and you feel as if you can never enjoy the music ever again, but I am a living proof that you could…." Ms. LaRue said.

"I find most vampires to be more calculating. No offence." She said, turning towards Elijah.

"None taken. I also admire Amy and occasionally, Gia as well." Elijah replied and I couldn't help but roll my eyes.

"Look, I may not be that happy about Elijah at the moment, but I know that he's a man you can trust. And for the last few years, he's always kept his word regarding me. He is a proud man, always keeping his promises." I said with a smile.

Ms. LaRue looked between Elijah and I and she let out a little laugh.

"I suppose I should hear you out, Mr. Mikaelson and you can thank your sister-in-law." Ms. LaRue said and I finally felt as if this was going our way.

Third person p.o.v

Before Rebekah could pass out for sure, she tried to keep herself awake. She couldn't give up on Amy and definitely not Hope. She had to stay strong throughout this thing. She tried her best to keep a clear mind.

Jimsonweed is nasty stuff. Been killing people since the Middle Ages." Ruben told her but Rebekah didn't turn around.

"Those hallucinations, they're only going to get worse. And then the pain will start."

"There's something you need to know about me." Rebekah pleaded and she never pleaded for anything. She was desperate.

"What the hell could you tell me that I don't already know, Eva Sinclair?" Ruben asked with venom in his voice.

"My name is Rebekah Mikaelson and I know the antidote to jimsonweed." Rebekah spat and knocked Ruben unconscious.

Aiden was at the cemetery, following the orders on finding Finn, but he was scared, not that he wanted them to know that.

He had send one of his friends before him, without him returning, so Aiden decided to look for them himself.

It was creepy enough as it is and it wasn't any better when he heard a struggled behind him. Aiden waited as long as he could before turning around.

He would never have imagined Mikael to suddenly stand before him, but he wasn't surprised either.

Mikael was carrying what seemed to be, one of Aiden friend's hart. Mikael was grinning at him with blood all over the place.

"I much prefer vampire blood but after so long a slumber, one needn't to be so picky. Oh. I believe this belongs to one of your mangy spies." Mikael said and threw the heart towards Aiden.

"Klaus is going to kill you." Aiden hissed lowly, knowing how much he hated Mikael.

"Is that so?" Mikael spat and stalked towards him but then someone stepped forwards.

"Leave him, father. Bloodshed is merely a distraction. We have important matters to attend to." Freya said and chanted something under her breath. Aiden went down, screaming in agony. When the pain stopped, both Mikael and Freya had vanished. Aiden knew this wasn't good.

Amy's p.o.v

When the old hag decided to help us, things moved along quickly, even though I didn't like her. Her bodyguards, or what I like to call them; Gru's minions, not when they're adorable but purple monsters, handed Elijah files with information about several witches.

We wanted to see if we could find the one we're looking for. Elijah handed half of the files over to me and I carefully went through them.

"One of the witches that escaped the Fauline Cottage is of particular importance to my family." Elijah explained, giving me a quick glance. "My request to you; Tell your people to leave her to me."

"You have no idea how dangerous these witches can be." Ms. LaRue answered him and I rolled my eyes. She didn't understand that we have been through it all. A witch wouldn't do us any harm.

"She will cause you no further trouble, I can assure you that." Elijah told her. "In return, I shall find all the remaining witches and deliver them safely back to you."

I finally found what I was looking for and showed the file to Elijah. I found the girl Rebekah possessed. Elijah gave me a reassuring smile, letting me know that I did a good job.

Not that he needed to tell me something I already knew.

"Consider this the first step in a new and mutually beneficial alliance." Elijah said and handed the file to Ms. LaRue.

"Eva Sinclair. Powerful and sadistic. If I am to relinquish someone like her into your custody, I will require someone equally powerful in return." Ms. LaRue told us.

"The Treme Coven wants Vincent Griffith returned."

I couldn't help but laugh a little.

"He's all yours lady." I said eagerly, hoping they could take Finn as well.

"How you expel your brother Finn from his body is your concern." Ms. LaRue said.

"Aw… Damn it!" I exclaimed.

"Amy, not now." Elijah barked at me.

"Consider it done."

We left the old woman after that and Gia wanted to head home right away, not that I tried to stop her but it left me alone with Elijah and you could say it was rather awkward. I had said some hateful words to him earlier and now I felt bad, but yet, I had every reason to say it.

I wasn't the only one to feel this awkwardness but I was the first one to break the silence.

"Well, then. I think it's about time for me to return to my daughter." I said, not being able to look directly at Elijah.

"Amy, wait. I owe you an apology." Elijah started to say. "I shouldn't have said those things, and you were right, I only said it because I was hurt… I had no right."

Seeing Elijah like this, made me feel terrible. He's hurting, and I'm not doing things any better for him.

"It's OK, Elijah. We're all to blame here. I shouldn't have told you about my marriage to your brother the way I did, but you have to understand that I did it because I wanted to." I told him and I could tell he understood.

"And I'm sorry for what I said about you not caring about Hope, because I know you do, and I love you for that. I love you for caring about my daughter as if she's your own and I never want…"

Elijah cut me off by crashing his lips onto mine.

At first, I didn't understand what was going on, everything happened so fast. But then it hit me. I didn't want this... I never wanted this and it made me furious.

I pushed myself away from him angrily.

"What the hell is wrong with you?" I yelled at him. "What part of I'm married to your brother don't you understand?"

"Amy, I am so sorry." Elijah started to say…

I slapped him hard and he deserved it.

"I would never want you, the way I want your brother, my husband!" I screamed and speeding away before he could ever have the chance to apologize again.

How could I ever get Elijah to understand that all my feelings for him are long gone?

This was all too frustrating for me and the only thing I could think about was getting to Nik but first, I needed to talk to my sister, just to make sure that Hope's ok.

"Everything is fine, Amy." My sister answered almost out of boredom.

"Then why can I hear Hope crying in the background?"

"Because she just woke up and she's hungry…. And she's missing her mommy, but Jackson is really good with her. You just have to trust me."

Even though I didn't, I just had to try.

"Is Nik around? I need to talk with him."

"No, he left about an hour ago."

"Did he happen to mention where he was going?"

"Where do you think? He's going after Finn."

"OK, fine. I think I know where to find him. Please tell my daughter how much I love her and tell Jackson that she can't sleep unless…."

"Unless she has her stuffed giraffe with her, I got it."

"How did you know?"

"Did you really think that Klaus would have left Hope in Jackson and mine's care without giving us a list of what to do?"

God, I love that man!

"OK, sorry. Call me if you need anything."

Before I hung up the phone, I could hear Hope calling for me and it killed me not being there with her but I needed to solve this problem so that I could live happily ever after with the man of my dreams, and my beloved Hope.

I had to stop for a second to figure out where Nik could be looking for Finn and it really wasn't a question. There's only one place Finn would seek shelter and that was the Lafayette cemetery. I couldn't help but smile evilly and stalk towards the cemetery, the root of all evil.

I caught up with Nik's scent a few moments later and walked towards him slowly. I could tell that Nik knew that I was there.

"You don't have to sneak up on me, sweetheart." Nik said without turning around and it made me smirk.

"Who said anything about sneaking up on you?" I answered. "Last time I checked, locating my husband is not sneaking."

Nik turned around to face me, only to find me only inches away from his face. His eyes roamed over my body.

"Well… I must say you look ravishing." Nik told me with a grin.

"Yeah, well... It runs in the family I suppose." I said, remembering how Elijah crossed his boundaries, kissing me.

"What do you mean by that? Did the meeting not go well?" Nik asked me.

"Well, don't get angry at me, but your brother kissed me again. And before you blow up, you should know that I stopped him and pushed him away." I could tell that Nik was angry, not with me but with Elijah. I tried to calm the tension.

"Does it make you feel any better if I told you that I punched him in the face and that I yelled at him because I felt repulsed by what he did?" I asked hopefully.

I was afraid of Nik yelling at me for letting his brother kiss me again, but that's not what happened.

I could hear Nik growling before connection his lips to mine. It caught me off guard but I soon caught up with him.

"Why is it that the noble Elijah doesn't understand that you belong to me?" Nik asked as he placed his forehead against mine.

"I don't know. Maybe you should remind him?" I asked innocently. Nik only smiled at me before grabbing my hand.

"Let's go and find my backstabbing brother and terminate him once and for all." He told me and I couldn't help but purr.

"I love when you talk dirty to me." I said sarcastically. I just wanted this day over with, so that I could go back home and cuddle my daughter for the rest of the night. I hated being away from her when she wasn't feeling well.

Nik and I entered the cemetery together, and it still creeped me out, knowing that this was the exact same place I almost lost my daughter the first time. I clutched onto Nik's arm as we walked through the creepy fog.

What's up with cemeteries and that nasty, creepy fog? It's like it never grows old.

My phone started buzzing and it surprised me to see Davina's name on the display. I quickly declined it and focused on finding Finn. My phone buzzed several times before I got a text from her.

D: Amy, I really need to talk to you. Call me as quick as you can.

I ignored the text and followed Nik. His phone buzzed next and this time, it was Elijah. Nik followed my lead and disconnected the call.

Nik was starting to be bored with all of it, and decide to draw Finn out. He grabbed my hand and we walked through the fog together.

"How are we going to find him?" I whispered, as I tried not to trip over my own two feet.

"Like this." Nik said with a smirk.

"Finn!" Nik yelled and I face palmed myself. What a way to announce yourself.

"I know you're here! The wolves tell me you've been quite active robbing graves and violating corpses. Sounds like you."

"Why don't you come out so we can finish this?" Nik asked. I rolled my eyes and looked over at my husband.

"You know, I could've called for Finn exactly like that… I thought we're supposed to be subtle." I said sarcastically. "What's the odds of him showing up now?"

"Hello Niklaus." We heard a voice say behind us.

Great….

There will be no living with Nik after this. Finn turned to me with an obnoxious smirk on his face.

"Well, if it isn't Amy… Niklaus' bitch."

When I heard those words, I let out a scream and lunged at him. Nik wrapped an arm around my waist to hold me back.

"Such a pedestrian greeting. How unfortunate those are to be your last words." Nik growled at him.

Finn only laughed at us and I could tell that he was thinking that he was so much better than the two of us.

"Your hubris truly knows no bounds. You attack a witch in the very place that the ancestors call home. Tsk, tsk." Finn said mocking us.

"You're a fool if you think the ancestors give a damn about you, or if you think that I won't let my wife lose so she could rip you apart piece by piece." Nik told him and I could feel my eyes turning colors.

"They may not care for me, brother, but they hate you." Finn told us and in the next second, Nik told me to run the opposite way from him and I did. At the same time, Finn used magic to start a blasting fire.

Nik and I jumped onto the roof of some on the tombs around. I decided to keep myself hidden, so that I could attack Finn without him knowing where I was.

"You lost a step, brother, but then being blown to pieces will do that, I suppose." Nik said and tried to attack his older brother.

Finn used his magic to send some piece of iron fence into Nik's chest. I forgot about the advantage we could've had when I saw that bastard harm my husband. I charged forwards to kill him, but Finn knew I was coming and chanted something under his breath. Within the next second, I fell to the ground in agony. I felt as if someone stabbed me in the chest repeatedly and it made me scream in pain.

"Get your hands off her!" Nik yelled at him but Finn only smiled.

"Finished so soon, my indestructible brother? Father was right about your kind, always too weak when it comes to your bitches. You're nothing but a pathetic disappointment." Finn spat at him as he inflicted me with even more pain.

"You judge us? You who cursed your own twin to death. But you didn't stop there, did you? No. As an encore, you sought the death of an innocent child." Nik spat at him as I wriggled around on the ground in pain. He ripped the metal bar out of his chest with pure anger.

"Our child, Amy's lifeline!" Nik screamed and used one of the metal bars as a spear, piercing Finn through the stomach. I could feel the pain leave my body slowly and I felt as if I could breathe again. My head cleared up and that's when I felt the rage towards Finn.

I got up from the ground and rushed towards Finn, pushing both his body and the spear against the concrete.

"For what you would've done to Hope, my daughter, I am going to throw a God damn Princess party in your honor, just to let people know how much I enjoyed watching you suffer!" I yelled as I pulled the iron bar out of his stomach and slowly started to pierce the iron bar through his chest, not wanting to hit his heart right away.

This was pay pack time and I'm blinded with rage.

Finn screamed out in agony and it only urged me forward. I had forgotten all about the deal we made with Ms. LaRue at this point.

"This is for my daughter." I yelled as I raised the iron bar to pierce it through his heart.

The next thing I know, someone slams me into the wall, making me drop the bar and I looked straight into Elijah's eyes.

"Get away from her!" I heard Nik yell as I tried to get away from Elijah's grip. He let me go, knowing I would attack Finn again.

"You didn't answer my calls." Elijah told my husband calmly.

"Well, as you can see, Amy and I was a little busy." Nik answered with a smirk. Elijah looked over at me.

"Do you not remember our deal? We need him alive." Elijah told me.

"I'm sorry, but I don't have the time for your soft-hearted sympathies, Elijah. If I could just get Finn out of the way, my baby will be just fine." I said in a rage before trying to attack Finn again, driven by Finn's blood loss and my hunger, and the desire to rip his head off.

But watching him bleed out, did the trick for me as well.

"Let him die." Nik told Elijah and I couldn't agree more. I had to hold onto Nik to make sure I wouldn't harm Finn any further.

"Both Amy and I know that the witches want that body returned unharmed." Elijah agued.

"And what else do they want? A parade? Free broomsticks for all." Nik asked sarcastically and tightened his grip on my waist.

"This alliance could be greatly beneficial to us all." Elijah answered.

"Yes, well, currying some witch's favor does not concern me." Nik argued as he pulled me closer to his chest.

"It should…." A voice said somewhere behind us and I froze. Nik and Elijah noticed my behavior before I even saw her face. I finally looked at the girl coming towards us.

"Witch allies can prove valuable."

"Freya. Freya help me." Finn whispered in pain. Freya looked at him with pity.

"Don't worry brother; I won't let Amy hurt you anymore."

Freya revealed an amulet from around her neck and she started chanting. I couldn't grasp what she's doing and pressed myself closer to Nik. He could tell that I was acting strange for some kind of reason, and didn't understand my reaction.

Freya's amulet started glowing as she chanted and I knew something big was happening.

Finn gasped and he looked terrified. He looked around at all of us, and somehow I knew that he wasn't in this body anymore.

"Who are you?" Vincent asked, and I knew that Finn had left from this body.

"Sleep." Freya simply told him. Nik and Elijah couldn't help but stare at her suspiciously.

"What did you do to him?" Nik asked her.

"Finn is now safe from harm. And his hatred of you can no longer do damage to our cause."

"Our cause?" Elijah asked skeptical.

"Yes, our cause." Freya answered and glanced over at me.

"Ah, Amy…. Nice to finally see you… Again…"

Nik and Elijah looked between Freya and me and they couldn't understand what's going on.

"Rey." I said with a monotone voice. I couldn't believe that she was standing right in front of me. This was someone I once trusted with all my heart.

"Amy, sweetheart, What's going on?" Nik asked me worriedly. I looked back at the girl in front of me. I swallowed a few times before being able to look directly at her.

"I know her," I whispered.

"What do you mean, you know her?" Elijah asked me.

"She save my life." I whispered in response.

Flashback late June, 2009

I was not feeling too good about myself. My birthday was coming up in a month and I was finally turning 21. This was the time in my life I was finally going to learn something about my biological mother, my father promised me that he would tell me something about her and I couldn't wait.

Too bad, he died a few months back. I should've made my father stay behind that day. My uncle John was out of town for work but he promised me he would be back before my birthday.

I have been living here since May and I sort of hated it and loved it all at the same time. I couldn't talk to my siblings, I didn't know what to say to them. I wanted be the person I talked about at their funeral but I was such a mess, I couldn't even do that, not right now anyway. I walked around John's apartment with a bottle of scotch in my hand.

I've never liked the taste of it but I sure helped with the pain. I walked around the house, music blasting through the speakers and I was wasted.

I walked up the stairs to the attic, not knowing why I needed to do it. I opened the door slowly and saw all these boxes. For some reason, I felt drawn to them and opened up the first box.

I found all these old home videos and decided to pop one in.

I really wish I hadn't done that.

This was old home videos that was recorded when I was just a baby, learning how to walk. How my parents argued about who should help me and who should capture it on tape.

"Amy, sweetheart, come to daddy." I heard the familiar voice of my father.

"No Amy, come to mommy!" My mother said as she sat on the ground next to him.

From what I could tell, this was one of the very first time I've ever walked. I figured it was John who taped it.

There's no use, Miranda. You know how much Amy loves her father." Uncle John said with a laugh.

"Oh, you shush! Never underestimate the bond between a mother and her daughter." Miranda told him with a glare.

But my mom had to bite the dust in this case.

I let out a squeal and stumbled towards my dad.

I watched as my father opened his arms for me to walk into. The safest place I've ever known. I watched myself stumble into his arms and him picking me up.

"Good job, sweetheart. I knew you could do it." My dad said and kissed my cheek. "And thank you for loving me more than your mother."

"Dada!" mini-me squealed and I loved how he devoted his time to me.

"Daddy loves you sweetheart. Never forget that."

I turned off the TV and I didn't even know I was sobbing before I found it harder to breath. How was I supposed to live without them?

How was I going to cope without the possibility to talk to them?

I couldn't stay inside anymore, so I grabbed the bottle of scotch and stormed out of the house.

At the same time, John pulled up into the driveway but I didn't stop to greet him. I needed to get away.

"Hey, Amy. Wait, where are you going?" John called after me but I didn't answer.

"Amy!" My uncle called after me but I just vanished into the darkness.

I walked aimlessly around for some time, but for every step that I took, all I could hear was Sheriff Forbes telling me that mom and dad died. It was like a bad chanting in my brain, a broken record, repeating the same devastating words.

I stopped as I came across a bridge, quite similar to Wickery Bridge back home. Maybe this was a sign. Maybe the universe wanted justice for the guilt I felt for not insisting on my father staying behind at Whitmore with me.

Without even thinking, I jumped up on the railing, balancing on the edge, taking large gulps from the bottle. The drop down to the water was larger than back home. That could work out to my favor.

"There's nothing stopping me, right? There's nothing that would make me whole again, ever." I mumbled to myself. "There's no one that can save me."

Suddenly, I felt this warm breeze and the wind picking up. I looked around me but couldn't see anyone. I turned to look at the water and it was as if it was calling for me.

"I wouldn't do that, if I were you." A sweet voice said from behind me. I turned around a little too quickly and looked directly at a beautiful girl no older than me. Her piercing blue eyes watched me with concern.

"Well, you're not me, are you? So why don't you just move along and leave me to it?" I almost snarled at her but she didn't even buckle.

"You won't do it, you know." She told me calmly making me look at her.

"How could you say that? You don't know me." I said with tears in my eyes.

"Because if you did, you would have done it already…" The girl answered with a smile.

"Well, I would have done it but you interrupted me." I hissed and faced the water again.

"You said no one would stop you, yet here I am. What on Earth made you think that this is the best way to end your sufferings?" The girl asked me and I faced her once again.

"It's none of your business. Now leave me alone." I told her, trying not to cry.

"You think that no one can save you? You have to let someone do it." The girl said and when I finally met her eyes, somewhere deep inside me, told me I could trust this person. Somehow, I understand the meaning behind her words. Without saying anything else, she held out her hand for me to take.

"Why would you help me?" I asked her suspiciously.

"Because I know for a fact that it's not your time yet. There's so much more out there for you, a consuming experience that will change your life forever. Someone you're destined to meet. Please don't give in yet."

I grabbed her hand after that and she helped me down.

For some reason, I felt safe and broke down in her arms.

"Everything will be ok, I promise." The girl said, with a soothing voice.

"Thank you. I'm Amy by the way." I said not breaking any contact.

"Nice to meet you, Amy. You can call me Rey."

After that day, we became fast friends and Rey was in my life until she suddenly disappeared around the time I triggered my werewolf gene a month later. Rey never gave me a reason to why she left, but I didn't spare it any though because I was too caught up in keeping her safe from the monster I had become.

Rey helped me so much and in the short time I had her in my life, she helped me fixing my relationship with Jeremy, Elena, not so much. I would miss her but I had to focus on the next part of my life.

I just wished she had said goodbye.

End of flashback

Everyone looked between Rey and myself and for once, I didn't know who she is anymore. She didn't feel like my friend at this point.

"I don't understand, Rebekah told us Freya had been looked up for the last century." Elijah said in shock.

"Well, brother… She could be lying about that. I wonder what else she's lying about." Nik asked, eyeing Rey carefully.

I didn't know what to think, but this wasn't the time to get the answers I needed from her. Hope was the one thing that matters.

"If you two could stop fighting for just a second, perhaps you'll allow your older sister to offer you a deal." Freya asked with a smile as if me revealing the fact that she's been lying to them already didn't even matter to Nik and Elijah.

Well, she clearly didn't know them at all.

"What could you possibly offer us besides fairytales and lies?" Nik asked as he kept an arm around my waist.

"Whatever you may think of me, brother, know this: Besides telling you about knowing Amy and being asleep for the last century, I speak the truth. I woke up a few months before I met her but something happened that forced me back to sleep." Freya told us.

"If you have any doubts, I rescued Rebekah from the Fauline Cottage."

"Wasn't it also you who led Finn his vile mission to take Hope's life?" Elijah asked and that stung so bad. It was one thing to know that Freya was responsible, but know it was one of what I considered to be one of my best friends, made it ten times worse.

"The threat to Hope came from Finn, not me. The brother I knew would never have stooped to threatened a child. Our mother destroyed him." Freya said answered but I couldn't just let this go. She may not have threatened Hope but she helped Finn find her.

"Like she did me, you and everything she touched."

"Do not speak as though we are familiars. We know nothing of you." Nik hissed at her and the next thing we know, Freya uses her magic, making us peer into her memory of how Dahlia took her away.

"Do you think me a liar?" Freya asked with a smirk but I knew Nik wouldn't trust her word.

"That proves nothing but your ability to conjure illusions." Nik said and I eagerly agreed.

"Before you dismiss me, you should know this. If I have woken from my slumber again, so has Dahlia. Once she senses your daughter's magic, she will come for her. And she has the power to kill anyone that stands in her way. Unless we kill her first." Freya told us and I was officially scared again.

"It's quite convenient, isn't it? You show up in the nick of time to help us kill the woman with whom you spent a thousand years." Nik hissed and I couldn't agree more.

"You have no idea what it took to escape her, or what I lost in the trying. Her punishment will be profound." Freya argued back.

"And you know how." Elijah stated but I wasn't sure that I wanted Freya anywhere near this. I couldn't trust her.

"Given the proper materials, yes. I've sent father to procure them." Freya answered and I froze. Mikael couldn't be trusted, he would rather kill our daughter than help save her.

"You put the life of our daughter in the hands of Mikael." Nik yelled at her before grabbing my hand, thinking the same thing as I did. We needed to get back to Hope right now.

"Niklaus, Amy. This woman has knowledge of the threat we now face and is willing to share that information." Elijah tried to reason with us.

"Well, you'll excuse Nik and myself, Elijah if we're not incline to trust the mysterious sister we've only just met. The girl I knew back then doesn't exist to me anymore. But by all means, if you wish to entertain this idiocy have at it. Rey means nothing to me anymore." I said, trying not to break down.

Nik could sense I had enough and took me away from the cemetery. He knew that I needed to get away from it and he also knew that I was on the verge of losing it.

Nik stopped me just outside the compound, not that I wanted to stop, I needed to get inside to my daughter.

"Hey…" Nik put his hand on my shoulder. "Talk to me."

"What's there to talk about, Nik? It's done. My friend Rey, appears to be your sister. There's nothing left to it." I said not looking directly at him. Nik gentle grabbed my chin and made me look at him. I didn't see anger in his eyes only sadness, concern for me.

"It's all right, Amy. You don't have to be strong all the time. It's OK to cry." Nik told me and I just buried my face in his chest. I wanted to be strong, remain collected but it wasn't easy. I loved feeling his arms around me, supporting me.

"I can't afford to fall apart now, Nik. What I need, is to go back in there and be with our daughter." I said, smiling through my tears. Nik kissed my forehead before grabbing my hand.

"Let's go find her, shall we?" Nik said and I nodded eagerly.

Gosh! I for sure, have had more than enough of this day.

Third person p.o.v

Rebekah was looking through Ruben's stuff as she waited for Marcel to wake up. Which fortunately didn't take too long but she didn't tell him that.

"About bloody time you woke. I was starting to get bored." Rebekah said mockingly.

"How did you…?" Marcel started to ask.

"Sertave beans and mizule counteract the effects of the poison. Seems all my mother's prattling about witch concoctions wasn't such a waste." Rebekah answered with a sigh.

Marcel looked around and finally saw an unconscious Ruben on the ground. All he could think about was ending that bastard.

"Marcel, don't." Rebekah said, stopping him from killing him. "He's just a father trying to protect his child. He doesn't deserve to die for it. I was only parents for a few months, but I felt that same instinct."

"The whole time you were gone, I thought you just up and left without looking back. Then I found out you were the one protecting Hope. I had to smile. Everything you ever wanted, and you got it. Much as I really wished you were here, I was truly happy for you. Even though I know you were just taking care of your niece." Marcel told her. "You did that for Amy."

"As much as I wished you'd left with me, I was happy, relieved really, to hear that you and Nik had made your peace. Whatever my brother's faults, he's always been moved by acts of loyalty. As have I. Thank you, Marcel for bothering to give a damn about an old flame and for helping, mostly Amy, hiding Hope and making it possible to her daughter safe." Rebekah told him sincerely.

The next few hours, going through papers they gotten from Elijah about this Eva Sinclair and Rebekah really did not like the things she read.

"Ruben was right. It's all in here, every horrible thing Eva Sinclair has ever done." Rebekah said with a sigh, she felt awful, thinking about what she had done to other kids.

"If you ask me, it's a good thing you took over her body. Anyone who does this stuff to kids has it coming." Marcel said, equally disgusted as Ruben had been.

"It doesn't matter what she's done, I've still appropriated her body without her consent." Rebekah told him.

"I'm not going to argue with you, Rebekah, I'm just saying maybe it's a public service. But I get why it's complicated. I mean, it make sense why you won't kiss me." Marcel said smiling at her mockingly, making Rebekah narrowing her eyes towards him.

"It's why I wouldn't kiss you if I wanted to. Which I don't." Rebekah answered, trying to convince herself more than him. "I don't, Marcel."

"Keep telling yourself that."

Rebekah rolled her eyes at him as she went back to reading the papers. She had to agree that this girl was horrible. The thought of her taking advantage of Hope that same way, made her stomach turn and she hoped that by the time she got her own body back, she would personally make sure, Eva would not harm another child ever again.

Elijah arrived back to his place after the long day he had, with him kissing Amy again, and her rejecting him once again. It was exhausting. He could simply not understand why he would still pursue a now married woman, to hisvown brother that is.

"Vincent Griffith is alive and free from my brother, Finn's influence. Once I have questioned him to my satisfaction I shall release him once again to the witches." Elijah answered her as he took their coats away.

"So it all worked out. And yet, I don't recall hearing a 'Nice job, Gia. Really appreciate the help.'" Gia mocked him.

"Yes, forgive me. I was a little tied up trying to prevent Niklaus from being, well, Niklaus." Elijah said, handing Gia a beer.

"But, yes. Nice job, Gia. I appreciate the help." Elijah said taking a sip of his own beer.

"You drink beer?" Gia asked astounded.

"I'm adapting to my audience." Elijah answered her. "And it helps me forget the bump I hit with Amy. A beer is a nice distraction."

"Ah… I take it the talk with Amy didn't go so well." Gia said understanding Elijah's pain.

"You could say I rather…. What is it that you kids say now a day? 'Screwed up'." Elijah said with a sad smile.

"I totally get it. I know how it feels when someone you love doesn't return it in the way you want them to." Gia told him and Elijah could tell that she's sincere.

"Why yes. That is exactly why I do not let myself fall in love often." Elijah told her honestly.

Gia sighed, seeing the slightly broken Original in front of her. He needed someone and what do you know, here she is.

Gia moved a little closer to Elijah with a seductive look on her face.

"Maybe what you need is something or someone to take your mind off the things you want to forget." Gia whispered before she stood up from the couch.

"Are you trying to seduce me?" Elijah asked huskily but Gia didn't answer at first.

"I do not understand what you're talking about. But I do need to get out of this dress. Could you help me with the zipper?" Gia asked, turning away from him. Elijah found himself battling against his own desires. It has been so long since someone had offered him something like this.

He carefully stepped closer to Gia, Slowly, he trace his fingers along the young vampire's back. He knew that this was wrong, sure, he was man that felt rejected, always wanting something he never could have.

He was a one kind of man, he didn't sleep that much around, he was a gentleman after all but he was still a man. He had needs.

As he completely abandoned his code of living, he slowly started to unzip Gia's dress as he left soft kisses against the base of her neck.

"You have to know, Gia… This will not change the way I'm feeling, it will not disappear, just like that." Elijah whispered in her ear, making Gia shiver.

"I know you won't forget her, Elijah. But all I want, if for you to just forget for a while." Gia said before turning around, claiming his mouth is if it was no tomorrow. Elijah found himself responding to the young vampire's kiss.

All he hoped was he didn't call out Amy's name during sex.

Amy's p.o.v

Nik and I tiptoed into Hope's room, not wanting to scare her or startled her. She was wide-awake in her crib and she smiled widely at us. I couldn't but smile at her and I had missed her so much these last few hours I was away from her. I carefully picked her up from her crib, bringing her close to my chest.

"Hey there, sweet girl. Mommy missed you so much while I was away chasing bad guys." I whispered in her ear. I looked up at Nik who had this adoring look on his face. He bend down and kissed Hope's forehead.

"I'm so glad she finally calmed down and she doesn't seem so feverish and flushed anymore." I said softly to my husband.

"You can thank Jackson for the quiet." Hayley said as she came through the door, wrapping herself with a robe. Both Nik and I could smell the sex in the air. I did not appreciate her having sex when she's supposed to look after her daughter, my niece. Hayley motioned for us to step outside Hope's room, so I reluctantly put Hope back into her crib and joined my husband and my sister.

"You'll be pleased to know that Finn is no longer a problem. However, there are other danger on the horizon." Nik started to say.

"Aka, Mikael is back." I shot in, shuddered the thought of that jackass.

"In other words, we need your pack to track him down." Nik told my sister and she looked as if she was about to explode.

"No." She said firmly and I looked at her in shock.

"We already lost one of ours today, a good man I won't let any wolves die." Hayley told us. I didn't even know that one of the wolves were killed. I had too much else to worry about, now I felt a little bad for the wolf I didn't even know.

"Mikael is a threat to your niece." Nik told her.

"Mikael is a threat to you. The pack will protect Hope and your wife if he comes but I'm not going to let you use them to settle your old scores." Hayley argued.

"Let me be as clear as possible. Your pack, your friends, your husband are a necessary means to keeping our daughter safe. I am not running a charity hostel here." Nik hissed at my sister and I agreed with him.

"If they're not fighting on my side, on Amy's side, then they will not remain alive to fight at all."

"You do what you need to do to keep her safe, Klaus. I'll do the same. Protecting my sister and niece." Hayley said, starting to walk away. It pissed me off.

"Hayley!" I called after her.

"If your pack doesn't want to help Nik, then they're not helping Hope and me either. If you can't help us, then I don't want you here." I told her firmly.

Hayley's eyes widen slightly, before her face turned into something vicious.

"Listen to yourself, Amy. What happened to you? You're really choosing the evil hybrid over your own daughter and family." She hissed at me. And I have to admit, her words hurt.

"I am choosing my family. My family is my husband and my daughter. He's more family than you'll ever be to me and to Hope." I spat back at her.

"If you two EVER try to manipulate me again, I will take Hope with me and you will never see her again." When Hayley said those words, I wanted to die. She couldn't take Hope away from us.

"Over my dead body!" I screamed at her. Just because she couldn't have her own kids, she could never take mine.

"That can be arranged." She spat before leaving Nik and me. I stood there in shock. Hayley basically said that she would actually kill me to keep my daughter away from me. I didn't even know that I was crying before Hope noticed and she screamed at the top of her lungs for me.

I ran inside her nursery and tried to sooth her. Hope buried her face into my neck.

"I'm so sorry, Hope. I won't let her take you away. I promise." I said, trying to sooth her. Her cries didn't die down right away, and that's when Jackson appeared at the door.

"Amy, let me help." He said softly. I turned towards him, furious.

"GET OUT!" I screamed at him. "Get out of here before I kill you, Jackson." My outburst made Nik come into the room and he turned towards Jackson.

"You heard her, mate. Get out and stay away from our daughter." Nik warned and I knew that he had to use all his willpower not to kill him on the spot.

In the midst of all of this, Davina tried to call me again but I couldn't talk to her like this.

Jackson left in a hurry, not wanting to get in the middle of everything right now.

Hope cries died down after some time, with both Nik and me in the room. I couldn't let Hayley take Hope away. It would indeed be over my dead body. Not even then and I knew Nik was think the exact same thing.

I didn't want Hope to be on her own after everything that happened tonight, so Nik and I decided to keep her with us in our bedroom.

We watched her as she slept calmly between us and I couldn't help but shed a tear. How could my own sister go to those lengths? Telling me that she would gladly kill me so she could take my daughter away.

Have I destroyed her so much with turning her into a Hybrid, and taken away her ability to have children of her own?

Nik tilted my head up and kissed me tenderly.

"Don't let Hayley get to you, sweetheart. There's no way that Hayley will take our Hope away. I will not allow it." Nik told me and I just nodded.

"Could we just stay in tonight? Just be here with here with our daughter as keep her safe between us for the night." I asked him hopefully.

"I'm sorry sweetheart but I have some damage control to take care of but I promise you that I will stay here with you until you fall asleep and then I shall return to you later." Nik answered me and I must say I was a little disappointed when he said that but I couldn't help but think that he was absolutely right. We needed to as much damage control as possible.

"I understand, Nik. Just hold us for a while please." I almost pleaded and he did exactly that. We cuddled close together and it didn't take long before I was out like a light.

I don't know what woke me up a few hours later but somehow, I needed to open my eyes. I looked directly at Hope's sleeping face and I couldn't help but smile. She's just so perfect.

I noticed that Nik wasn't back yet and everything else was completely silent. I got up from bed and looked out over the Compound. It seemed so peaceful right now, and I wanted that to last. Hope made some noise in her sleep, making me turn around to face her. I wanted to laugh but contained myself.

"Amy…" I heard a voice beside me. I almost jumped into the air at the voice, knowing that it had to be a witch that knew how to sneak up on a hybrid.

"Davina… You scared me. What are you doing here?" I asked with a whisper.

"I'm sorry, I tried to call you several times but you never returned them." Davina whispered back.

"Ok… I'm sorry I didn't call you back. It's been a busy day… Is there something wrong?" I asked, starting to get worried. Davina looked up at me with a strange look on her face.

"I need to tell you something…."
