Prompt: Imagine Person A, walking back into their room and finding out that Person B as apparently found pictures of them when they were young (being a baby, being a kid), and they're currently gushing over them. This obviously embarrasses Person A very, very much.
A/N: Seeing as its Mother's day it seemed the perfect day to post this drabble that as a short scene with Tom's mum.
As always thank the gods for my amazing beta Gothamgirl28 who I would be lost without.
"Sybil?"
Tom glanced into their room, well his childhood room really, but there was no sign of her. Shrugging, Tom continued to dry his hair before getting dressed. She was probably chatting to one of his siblings or asking his Ma for some cooking tips.
The thought of Sybil with his family warmed his heart. He had promised his Ma that he'd come home for Ascension Day this year and his Ma made it clear that she wanted to see this Sybil he'd been talking so much about. Tom had to admit it had been a while since he'd last brought a girl home.
Fixing his hair in the mirror, Tom left his room heading downstairs for the kitchen. He was walking down the hall when he heard Sybil.
"Do you mind if I steal one?"
"Which one do you want dear?" asked his mother.
"This one if that's alright."
Curious, Tom followed their voices into a horrifying nightmare. "MA! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"
There in the sitting room, was his mother and girlfriend looking at all his baby pictures!
"There's no need to yell, Tommy." His mother Claire rolled her eyes at his antics. "I was just showing Sybil some pictures from when you were little."
Tom groaned, his cheeks turning red. "Did you have to Ma?"
Sighing, Claire looked upwards and mumbled a few words in Irish as she got up. "I'm going to make myself some tea. Sybil dear would you like some?"
Glancing up from the photos in her hands, she nodded.
Accepting his fate, Tom seated himself next to Sybil. "Which one are you looking at?"
Sybil grinned as she flashed him the picture. "This one is my favorite."
Tom groaned. The photo was of two-year-old him in the bath, laughing and splashing. "Really?"
She laughed, "Of course it is! You really were such a cute baby." Deciding to have a bit of fun, she cheekily added, "I wonder what happened."
A look of mock outrage crossed his face. "Oh yeah? Well maybe this will change your mind!"
Tom thrusted his hands forward and began his tickling attack.
