"Haruhi!" Tamaki shouted at the top of his lungs dropping his ball and racing over to his girlfriend.
The other hosts and hostesses were quick to abandon their posts and race towards their fallen their poor friend.
"Haruhi?!" said Tamaki kneeling next to poor Haruhi who was unconscious.
"Man you hit her good Boss!" shouted Hikaru and Kaoru angrily.
"I didn't mean to!" Tamaki insisted.
"What do we do?" Belle asked looking towards Kyoya, "should we take her to the hospital?"
"It might not be a bad idea," Kyoya said pulling out his phone fully ready to call up help when Haruhi gave off a moan.
"Haruhi?" said Tamaki eagerly.
"What happened to me?" asked Haruhi as she looked around confused.
"Haruhi I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to! It was all my fault!" Tamaki pleaded sadly.
"What happened?" Haruhi asked again. She reached up and felt her forehead where she could feel a huge bump on her head. "What is that?"
"The boss hit your with a baseball," said Kaiya.
"You know I should be surprised but in all honestly I'm not," said Haruhi softly. Tamaki gasped and went to his rejection corner.
"Uh I'm sorry about that Sempi," Haruhi tried call out to him.
"Don't move around so much Haruhi," Kyoya advised, "You may have a concussion."
"Here Haru, I got you some ice!" said Akio coming in front and putting an ice pack onto Haruhi's head.
"Owe," Haruhi moaned as she let Maria help her up and carry her over to the bench.
"Well what do we do now? We're one player short," Elizabeth asked.
"We're willing to forfeit the match if you ladies that would be fine. You still can take solace in all the other victories you've won today," said Kyoya.
The other hostesses were quite for a moment as they took in what it was Kyoya had just offered up to them.
"Can you give us a moment?" Belle asked as she waved the men away.
"Well, what should we do?" Elaina asked, "Should we allow the forfeit for Haruhi's sake?"
"I think we should stick to it and bring Elizabeth in as the catcher. Maria-Sempi is so fast she can handle outfield on her own, right Maria-Sempi?" asked Kaiya.
"Well I think I should be able to," said Maria.
"What do you think President?" asked Belle, "in either case we'll be able to use the central salon." Haruhi moaned as she kept holding her hand.
"You can whatever you want. If you think you can handle it one player short then I say for it," she muttered.
"Alright you heard the president. Let's win it for her!" said Kaiya.
"If you get better Haruhi you can come back in okay?" said Elaina.
"Sure," said Haruhi.
Belle and Elaina both walked over to the hosts and the council president
"Well?" said Kyoya.
"We're going to try and tough it out with one girl short," said Belle "Assuming that's alright?"
"Yes it is," said Toshiyori Matsudaira.
"I should mention that due to our president currently still sulking for nearly killing your president we too can play as one man short," Kyoya offered looking over at Tamaki who was still sulking, "Mark?"
"Yeah?" said Mark up.
"Do you think you can pitch and at the same time not kill anyway in the process?" asked Kyoya.
"Sure can," said Mark, "I uh take it the boss isn't coming back in?"
"Not at the moment. Let's keep him like that for the while so we are even numbered to play against the girls."
"Sure, no problem," said Mark, "Batter up."
"Everyone back to your positions," said Toshiyori.
"Oh and given that Haruhi was hurt by this I'm giving the Hostesses a run," said Yuzuru Suoh, "Which means that Elizabeth makes it home and Elaina scores.
"Whoo-hoo!" both girls shouted giving each other high five.
"That makes 4 to zero!" said Toshiyori.
"How many runs do we need before we switch?" Aiko asked.
"We have to score eight runs or get three outs," Kaiya said handing her a bat, "Don't worry you'll be fine. We still have two more outs to do."
"Okay," said Aiko putting on a bat helmet and headed to the home plate, getting ready to hit.
"You're not nervous are you Aiko-Chan?" asked Hunny.
"No of course not," said Aiko, "It's not like Haruhi was nearly killed by a fly ball or that we only have two more outs before we switch!"
"You don't play baseball much do you?" asked Hunny, "It wouldn't be much of a game if we don't get to switch it up a little. Just relax and have fun. I'm sure you'll do fine."
"Okay," said Aiko.
"You ready?" Mark called out, "because it's coming whether you like it or not!" He swung back his ball and threw it hard at Aiko. Aiko screamed and jumped back.
"Strike one," said Yuzuru.
"Aiko-Chan, don't be scared. It'll be fine really," Hunny tried to assure his girlfriend as he tossed the ball back.
"You okay there short stuff?" Mark asked.
"Yeah I think so," said Aiko. Kaiya ran out from behind the fence and over to her little friend.
"Time out," she called out, "Aiko look at me. You're going to be fine alright? You got a helmet on and I don't think you'll have to worry about getting hit anywhere else. And don't panic if you get stuck out like Belle. It happens, plus we'll still have one more before we switch. So just do it already okay?"
"Okay I guess," Aiko said sheepishly.
"Alright, time in," Kaiya shouted as she ran back to her teammates.
"Is she okay?" Haruhi asked.
"She's just a little bit nervous. She'll be fine," Kaiya said confidently.
"Aiko I have faith in you," Haruhi tried to call out hoping it would make the small girl feel better.
Aiko nodded as she watched Mark get ready to pitch the ball again. He threw it not too so hard this time towards Aiko. Aiko managed to swing her bat and hit the ball as hard as she could. It took her a moment to realize she had actually hit something.
"Run Aiko run!" her club mates shouted.
"Huh, oh right!" said Aiko as she finally started to run off.
"Kaoru!" Mark shouted as he grabbed the ball and threw it towards Kaoru.
"Got it!" Kaoru shouted stretching his mitt up and catch the ball easily in in it.
"Out!" Yuzuru shout.
"What?" said Aiko stopping in her tracks.
"You're out," said Kaoru.
"Oh," Aiko moaned as she headed back to the dug out.
"It's okay Aiko-Chan, you did your best!" said Hunny.
"Yeah listen to Hunny-Sempi," said Belle, "You did just fine. You managed to hit the ball. I couldn't even do that."
"And I don't know if I can seeing as how I didn't really get a chance to hit the ball after Haruhi was hit," Elaina pointed out.
"I guess," said Aiko as she sat down on the bench still looking disappointed.
"Don't worry Aiko, like I said it happens," said Kaiya grabbing her bat and slamming on her helmet, "Alright, let's do this!"
"You got it!" Mark cheered. He threw a fast ball straight past Kaiya and into Hunny's mitt.
"Strike one!" said Yuzuru.
"Huh?" said Kaiya, "I got a strike?!"
"Don't let get you down remember Kaiya?" said Belle.
"Right," said Kaiya, "Give it to me!"
"With pleasure," said Mark as he pitched the next ball. This one Kaiya managed to hit hard out to the end field. She took off running across the bases while Mori raced after the ball. He grabbed and threw it towards Hikaru. Hikaru stood ready to catch it when he started to get worried.
'What if Kaiya gets mad if I get her out? Not only may she break up with me or at the very least she might make me dress up again!' he thought. However his thoughts were soon dashed when he felt the ball land in his mitt right before Kaiya slid towards third base. Hikaru, out of reflex, tagged her.
"You're out!" he said.
"Are you sure?!" asked Kaiya, "I could have sworn I'm safe!"
"I'll be the judge," said Yuzuru walking up to the two still in their pose, "I say Kaiya, you're out!"
"Ah man!" moaned Kaiya,
"Switch it up!" said Yuzuru.
The boys all ran to their dug out while the girls gathered up their equipment to head out to the field.
"Are you mad at me?" asked Hikaru.
"For what?" asked Kaiya standing up.
"Well I know what a temper you have," said Hikaru. Kaiya smirked at her boyfriend.
"Don't worry Hikaru we're still cool," she assured him and added a kiss to it, "But just remember this; I'll be the one pitching."
"Right, right," said Hikaru, "Just don't hit me too hard with whatever curve ball you throw at me."
