A/N: RussianAssassin asked for a song about Bucky to the "Carol of the Bells." I don't usually take requests because my muse is like a cat. She goes where she wants to when she wants to. But in this case, I kept hearing "Carol of the Bells" on the radio. And so the song emerged.

Bucky's in Hell

Bucky's in hell, hear the death knell
One broken bar; falling so far
Steve's fearful face. Lost without trace.
Losing an arm, just starts the harm.

Russians are cruel; then Hydra's tool.
Frozen and thawed. Not spared the rod.
Beaten and fried; electrified.
Bucky is gone. Just Hydra's pawn.

Mem'ries are torn. Soldier is born.
Killing for years, no thought for tears.
Stark is cut off. Shoots Romanoff.
Soldier's a ghost. Fear him the most.

Barnes gone. Barnes gone.
Barnes gone. Barnes gone.
Barnes gone. Barnes gone.

Winter is here, raising the fear.
No one survives his killing drive.

Barnes gone. None remember him.
Barnes gone. Barnes gone.
Cap's back. Cap's back.
Cap's back. Cap's back.

Bucky's in hell. He's brainwashed well.
Then comes a fight. Past come to light.
He sees a man, not in the plan.
He knows that face. Can't be the case.

He knows those eyes. Fight in the skies.
The captain falls. His spirit calls.
Bucky revives. Barely alive.
Pulls his friend out, despite all doubts.

Then Soldier flees, running from Steve.
Steve makes a vow; starts hunting now.
Will he have luck, looking for Buck?
Steve's got to try. Never say die.

Search for his friend. It's not the end.
Wherever he roams, calling him home.
Barnes home. Barnes home.
Bring Bucky home.

A/N: And if you want more Bucky, last year was all about Winter Soldier, so check out chapters 23, 25 and 27 for more Barnes feels.
