"Wizard!" Molly shouted. He could hear his voice through the fog of his unconsciousness. He clung to the sound of it, trying to regain control of his senses. His lids felt heavy, and try as he might, he could not lift them. He felt her hands on him suddenly. They felt cold against his skin. The cold jolted something inside him and his eyes flew open. He looked into Molly's wide eyes. They were filled with fear.

"Molly," he coughed out.

"Shhh," Molly whispered. "Are you okay?" He nodded. He sat up looking around the room. It was filled with frost. This was not a good sign, the frost king was getting stronger.

"What happened?" Wizard asked.

"Ozari, he tried to hurt you," Molly explained. "Where is he? Do you know where he is?"

"You can't go to him by yourself," Wizard argued.

"I can and I will. You are in no condition to confront him." Molly looked at him squarly. He could see that she was determined. She was also right. Molly was the only one with the power to defeat him. He sighed.

"He is in the mountain past the mine area. The path will be very difficult for you. There is a small cabin at the peak of the mountain, that is where he has Chase," Wizard explained. He felt exhausted. He didn't want her to go alone.

"Okay," Molly stated. She stood up quickly.

"Wait!"Wizard shouted. She slowly turned around. "Take this!" He held out his hand. Molly stared at the tiny object that he had placed in it.

"What..." She trailed off.

"You will know when you need to use it," Wizard replied. With that the rest of his strength left him and he felt himself sliding back into unconsciousness.

It was dark now, Chase couldn't see anything. He felt oddly calm given the situation. As hard as he worked at the bindings around his wrist, they refused to come loose. He concluded that it must be some kind of magic holding them so tightly in place. He hoped that Molly would not come for him. He did not want to be used as bait to lure her in.

A bright burst of light filled the room suddenly, Chase looked up to see Ozari standing in the doorway.

"Your girlfriend is on her way," Ozari taunted. Chase said nothing. He wasn't going to give him the luxery of a response. Instead he steeled himself for anything that would happen. He felt a cold rush sear through him. It seemed to be coming from inside him, but he wasn't sure how that possible. He fought against screaming out. "You foolish human. You can't fight against me. You have no hope of standing against a deity like me!"

"Molly can!" Chase gritted through his teeth. Another shot of icy pain ran through his body. He groaned against the pain. Ozari chuckled. "Molly will defeat you!"

"I am done with you!" Ozari shouted. He walked up to where Chase lay. His face was ominous. "You have outlived your usefulness!" Chase thought of Molly. He hoped that whatever happened to him, that she would defeat Ozari. He closed his eyes and braced himself for whatever Ozari had planned for him.

Claire was laying in bed. Her head was still pounding. She was obviously paying for the night before. Why had she had so many cocktails? And sleeping with the bartender? It had been a weak moment. She was sure to get backlash from Molly. She had hoped to mend fences with Molly by coming to the island. Why had she hidden all the letters from Jack? Even thinking that, she knew why. She had hoped he would come to the city for them. What she had been looking for was a happy ending, with Jack. Now he was gone, and it felt as if a part of her was missing. She had not loved Jack right away, but over time he had become a part of her.

"Miss Claire?" A voice called from behind the door. A soft knock followed. She groaned. She was in no mood for company. Easing herself off the bed, she stood to make her way to the door. The Innkeeper's daughter, Maya, stood with a tray of food in her hands. Her smile was too cheery for the mood Claire was in.

"Yes?" Claire rasped. Her voice sounded rusty, as if she hadn't used it in a while. Her tongue felt heavy in her mouth. Standing made her headache feel even worse.

"Mama asked me to bring you some food" Maya chirped cheerfully. Claire attempted a smile, hoping that it wasn't as terrible as it felt. The girl made no indication of being offended.

"Thank you," Claire stated. She accepted the tray from the girl. The food smelled delicious, and her stomach suddenly growled. She hadn't realized how hungry she was until this very moment.

"It's my grandmother's famous bouillabaisse," Maya said proudly. "I hope you enjoy!" The girl left then. Claire stated at the bowl of stew. A piece of homemade bread was also on the tray. She sat down at the small table and began to eat. Never in her life had she ever tasted anything so delicious. She devoured her food in less than ten minutes. After eating, she felt a bit drowsy. She stood up to go back to her bed, when the entire too felt like it was starting to spin. This was more than the hangover. Oh shit! She thought as she tumbled up the ground. She could vaguely hear the door being opened.

"Molly took something I love away from me, now it's time to return the favor," she heard Maya sneer. Claire was confused. What was the girl talking about? She heard and felt nothing at that point.
