One Month Later

Emma adjusted Liam as she nursed her baby boy, "Ah, you really are a greedy little pirate." She murmured affectionately with a yawn.

"Swan, maybe you should go home." Killian advised, brushing a strand of hair out of her eyes that she'd been ineffectively trying to blow away, "We're going to be here awhile."

Emma shook her head, "Nope, Mary Margaret spent literally all night here when I was in labor with this little dude, I'm staying here while we wait on Princess Ava's arrival." She looked up, "Besides, Henry and Grace are enjoying themselves apparently."

Killian's eyes followed her gaze to where Henry and Grace were playing an elaborate card game on the floor. Roland, Neal and Sammy were hovered around some video game and Alexandra was asleep in Sean's lap. She wasn't feeling very well.

"I hate it." Killian grumbled.

"Yeah, me too." Emma murmured. "So does Jefferson. He's sulking again." She motioned to where Jefferson was sulking as Victor and August talked quietly.

"We need to find him a girlfriend, something to distract him from that disaster." Killian suggested.

Emma nudged him in the ribs, "It's not a disaster, it just sucks for us. I was so not prepared for that."

"You and me both, love." He pressed a kiss to her temple, lifting the blanket covering her slightly so he could watch his son, "So amazing." He murmured. Emma's eyes connected with Killian's in a questioning look, "That you can feed him, that you carried him, that we made him, all of that." He smiled at his son, "It's just all so amazing."

Emma reached out and cradled her husband's chin, her thumb running over his dimple, "I love you."

"Love you too." He nudged his nose against her cheek before pressing another kiss there just as Liam finished. "I'll take him." He held his hands out, accepting is son from his wife and picking up a burp cloth. Emma adjusted her shirt, reaching underneath to clip the nursing tank top back into place.

"I wish David would come out with an update. Maybe we can get some information from a nurse?" She stood up, "I'll be right back." She moved towards the nurse's station to see if she could get any information on Mary Margaret's progress. She knew the doctor had gone into the room rather recently, she hoped that meant Ava was truly on her way now.

"Mary Margaret she is just so beautiful." Regina rocked Ava in one of the rocking chairs in the birthing suite.

Mary Margaret gave a tired smile, "Yeah, she is. And she's all ours." She murmured.

Neal hopped from foot to foot, "Can I hold her, Mom?" He asked.

His mother nodded, "Mhm, just get Daddy to help you."

Emma smiled softly and settled in a chair next to Mary Margaret's bed, "How you doing?"

"Exhausted." The little woman said, "I forgot how hard and long that is." She glanced over at the overstuffed chair that David had settled in with Neal and Ava, "So worth it."

"You do not already want another one, do you?" Emma snorted.

"Maybe." Mary Margaret shifted on the bed so she was facing Emma, "David and I were hoping you and Killian would be their godparents. Both for Ava and Neal." She whispered.

Emma reached out and laced her hand with Mary Margaret's, "Absolutely." She sighed, "We should let you rest."

"Sleep sounds nice." Mary Margaret agreed.

Emma patted her hand, "Okay everyone, I think it's time we leave so Princess Ava can bond with her family." She cradled Liam against her, "And our little pirate needs to get some sleep. Come on Henry, you could use a bed, too." She lightly tugged on the edge of his sweater, "Up we go."

"But Mom," he whined.

"No, but Mom right now." Killian chuckled, tossing Henry over his shoulder causing the little boy to squeal in delight, "We're going home and to bed." He leaned down and pressed a kiss to Mary Margaret's head, "Congratulations, love. Luckily for her the little princess takes after her mother and not her father."

"Hey!" David protested.

Emma rolled her eyes, "Alright, come on, Jones. Don't insult the handsome deputy."

"Handsome?" Killian laughed, "Now, love, do Mary Margaret and I need to be worried?"

"You may need to be if you insult our friends, let's move it." She teased.

Killian saluted her, "You heard your Mum, lad, we need to move it." Henry gave Emma his own salute from his place on Killian's shoulder and Emma rolled her eyes.

"Everyone else should follow suit." She advised as they left the room.

Two Weeks Later

"I will never lose this weight." Mary Margaret whined, as she zipped up her bridesmaid dress. She glared at Emma, "How the hell did you do that?"

Emma chuckled, "I'm taller than you, it helps." She reminded the little woman, who gave her a fairly impressive glare, considering she was the epitome of grace and kindness. "Come on, let's see how Tink and Ruby are fairing with Regina and that ridiculous dress she picked out."

"It is a bit much, isn't it?" Mary Margaret snickered. "Oh good, here are Ash and Aurora. Please tell me you found champagne."

Ashley produced three bottles from behind her back, "Stolen from the bar."

"And I have glasses, so we don't have to drink from the bottle." Aurora waved the long-stemmed glasses around.

Ruby peered out of the room she was in with Tink and Regina, "Okay, one of you needs to go steal booze, cause the bride is getting on my nerves and I need a drink." She paused, "Or I could just text Vic. I'll just text Vic." She decided.

"Ah, hone," Ashley popped a bottle open, "we've already raided the bar while the bartender stepped away for an emergency."

"What kind of emergency exactly?" Emma asked.

"One that didn't exist." Aurora deadpanned, "Now here, you drink this, Tink will need one and give one to Regina to soothe the frayed nerves." She began handing off glasses. "Where is Elsa?"

Emma picked up her phone, "I have no idea, she should be here by now."

"I am so sorry I'm late." Elsa pushed the door open, her bridesmaid dress slung over her shoulder, a light flush on her face, "It was an interesting morning."

Emma's eyes narrowed, "Interesting like August abandoned the plans he and I have been working on for the past four months interesting?"

Elsa's eyes sparkled, "Yes, I know it's Regina's day, but look." She held out her left hand, a diamond sparkling even under the fluorescent lights.

"Fucking finally." Ruby screeched, "It's seriously about damn time."

Elsa nodded, "I know, I agree."

"What is going on out here?" Regina snapped, "Oh, is that champagne?" She snatched a glass, "Oh, did you finally get engaged?" She glanced at Elsa's still outstretched hand. "About time."

Elsa snorted, "I'm sorry, but how long has Robin been waiting on a wedding?" She asked. "It's been like two years."

"I had a lot of planning to do." Regina stated stiffly. She held her glass up, "To August finally getting his shit together."

Elsa nodded her head, "To August finally getting his shit together." She agreed. She paused and looked over Regina's dress, "You look gorgeous, by the way."

Regina nodded, "I know. Now I want all of you dressed." She sighed, "Ruby, we need to do something about your make up."

"What's wrong with my make up?" She protested.

"It's too heavy." Regina waved her hand, "Elsa can fix you."

Emma grabbed Ruby's fist, "Not worth it. Trust me, I already considered it. Then Robin would be upset and he's just so nice, we'd all feel bad about making him cry."

"I don't know, give him enough alcohol or have Vic find some feel good drugs at the hospital and he may not notice." She grumbled.

Emma sighed, "It's her day, just lighten up the make up. It's only one evening." She reminded the brunette.

Emma smiled softly as Killian spun her around the dance floor. Granny was watching over a sleeping Ava and Liam so that she and Mary Margaret could enjoy a little bit of time on the dance floor. "You look so beautiful, love."

Emma rolled her eyes, "You always say that, Jones." She teased.

He shrugged before spinning her out and then winding her back into his embrace, "You always look beautiful, Swan." He sighed, his lips brushing over her temple, "I feel like I was just kind of existing before you stumbled into town."

"And brought all my baggage and drama." She reminded him.

"It's okay, it's all worth it to have you and Henry and now Liam." He nuzzled his nose against hers, "We both had our share of baggage and bad relationships. And as you saw, each and every one of us has a sordid past." He referred to David and his relationship with his step-father. "We all have issues. You've just started cracking the surface of what they are, and they all come back to haunt us from time to time, but I think that's why we work. We understand what we are all going through and we support without question or hesitation."

Emma slipped her hand out of his to wind her arms around his neck, pulling herself even more into his embrace, "I've never had that before." She admitted. "Well, okay, I had August. I've always had August, but other than him, I've never had it before and I'm realizing just to what extent I've been missing out on life." She nudged her head into his neck, "I love you."

Killian hummed in agreement, "Love you too, darling."
