Emma sat pouting in a chair in the library. She was upset for many reasons. She was upset they didn't get to look for the dragon, she was upset that they got caught, and she was even more upset that Gold called her mother. It had been 10 minutes since they had got busted by Gold, he just so happened to be stopping by to check on Belle, and then she told Gold that Emma and Bay where here.

The door chimed above the door, and Emma turned to look at her Mother coming through the door. Snow looked around and saw the kids sitting at a table in the front of the library.

"Emma, what's going on?" Snow asked as she walked over to where Emma sat.

Before Emma could answer Gold cut in. "I found these two, about to climb down into the basement to…explore. The elevator is out of service and they could have gotten hurt, I've already disciplined my son, he is grounded for the rest of the day today, as well as tomorrow" Gold informed Snow. "Just make sure that Emma don't try that again. I won't be responsible for her getting hurt on my property" Gold added, before walking away.

Emma rolled her eyes.

"Why on earth were you going down there Emma?" Snow asked. Emma shrugged. "Emma" Snow said in a warning tone.

Emma sighed, and looked at Snow. "Mommy, we were going down there to see the dragon that lives under the library"

Snow laughed. "Emma sweetie, there is no dragon under the library" Snow laughed again. So Emma was afraid of shadows but looking for a fire breathing dragon she was all down for it.

"Yes there is Mommy" Emma insisted. Bay wouldn't have said there was one, if there really wasn't.

Snow looked at Gold. "Would you please tell Emma, that there is no dragon under the library?"

Gold looked unsure. He knew Emma could see his lie from a mile away, but right now he was trying to convince Snow, not Emma. If Snow knew the truth it would cause trouble for him. Besides, this was Regina's mess, and not his. He was just trying to keep on a straight a narrow path for his son, and Belle.

"There is no dragon under the library, or in Storybrooke" Gold insisted.

Emma glared at Gold, she could tell he was lying and the guilty expression on Belle face showed as well.

"There, see? There is no dragon. Don't go where you're not supposed to, keep from that elevator Emma" Snow instructed. "Promise you will stay away from that elevator"

Emma knew it wasn't optional, so she agreed to stay away from the elevator, just to get her mom off her back. Gold felt confident that Emma would listen to her mother, and not go down there, so he walked away with a smile on his face.

Of course Emma wasn't going to stay away from the elevator. She was going to see that dragon if it was the last thing she did. The next day after school, Bay couldn't come out, he had to stay at home with Gold, so Emma snuck behind someone in the library as they was entering and ran to the back where the elevator was. Like yesterday, Emma looked around to make sure no one had noticed she was up to something and followed her, when the coast was clear, Emma pressed the elevator door down, and the door immediately opened.

Emma looked around again, and lowered herself to the floor, he dangled her legs above the steep hole. Emma wondered where the actual elevator was to this thing. She turned around, and felt around with foot, until she felt a rail, or a pipe, she wasn't sure what she was stepping on, but it didn't matter, she kept feeling around until she felt something hard enough for her to apply pressure on, before going to the next thing, getting lower and lower each time.

She accidently stepped on something that was loose, and she and the rail fail down. Emma was about to scream as she was certain she was falling to her death, but she felt something catch her. She had her eyes clothes. When she realized she was okay, and in someone's arms, Emma opened her eyes, and gasped at what she saw.
